It went great!!

The installation went great. The crew showed up on time. The supervisor reviewed what was going to happen with the installation with me. The crew was very personable. Once the materials arrived, they got straight to work. My only ding is that I wish they had done a better job of cleaning up the perimeter of my house. I picked up plastic parts, plastic bag packaging, hole plugs and conduit cutoffs.

My install had some unique challenges as my roof material is largely engineered lumber normally used for floor joist. The install team was persistent with the safety team to make the fall protection work to expected standards. Their can do attitude made the install possible. The system is currently running well and we are awaiting city inspection and utility acceptance. I would recommend SunRun to anyone that is contemplating solar.

I was impressed with presentation and follow up by AJ Alvaro. Also, liked follow up and updates with Stevie Jones. The installation crew, supervised by Drake was very good, friendly and thorough.

Good quality

The communication from Sunrun was fantastic. Every employee I dealt with was very informative and helpful. The installation crew were exceptionally hard-working even in 100° weather. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because the pipe for the wires could have been put in a more discrete location, so it didn’t stand out so much on the side of the house. They ran the main electrical pipe, which is about 2 inches in diameter straight down the middle of the wall horizontally instead of running it under the eaves or at the base of the wall. I would definitely use them again, but I would have a conversation with the installation people beforehand and monitor them so the pipe ended up in a better location. Partially my fault for not asking for details or monitoring it closely.

I was very impressed with my initial contact with Sunrun. The representative, Reina, gave a detailed and professional presentation. She spent over two hours with us and went over the company's history, our current electricity bill, and our options. At no time did I feel pressured and Reina was able to answer all my questions. The subsequent follow up with Adrienne, Mat and Jeremy were also very satisfactory. The installation team showed that same approach to the work and at all times they kept me informed throughout the installation process. I was impressed with the quality of their work and their attention to detail. They did not cut any corners and did a complete upgrade of the electrical service. Thanks to Marcus, Gus, Stephanie, and another team member whose name I didn't get. Thanks also to Gary and Adam for their follow-up work. I was also impressed by how long the company has been in business, over sixteen years, and without any major complaints. The lease agreement will work best for us and I look forward to reduced electricity bills and Sunrun's continued care and maintenance.

The folks at Sutton have done each step of the process exactly as they said they would. Our sales rep, Jacob Rossberg, actuary contacted our neighbors (HOA requirement) while we were out of town. Installation crew were on time, did the work, cleaned up everything in what seemed like record time.

Tech were very professional. Arrived on time. Made sure work area was cleaned.

The crew was efficient and polite. Juan did an excellent job of explaining the process and set up the app on our phones. There is a hole in our garage wall around where the new pipe went in that needs to be closed. What is the estimate of when we can switch to the solar power?

Yolanda was awesome! She was patient through the whole process. Great information from start to finish. Jonathan was very helpful during initial installation.

Installation went smoothly. The crew let me know everything they were going to do. Can't wait to have the system turned on! Go run!

Absolute Disaster

It's been 3 months, still not generating; they use the cheapest and slowest equipment to maximize their profit, but sacrifice customer. Customer care take 15 minutes to be connected, and every time, they put you on hold, and then the call gets disconnected while on hold after1-2 minutes. And they don't call back; so you have to call, wait another 15 minutes to be connected, and then the same thing happens. What a disaster of business they are running. AVOID!!

Light Bill is higher with the panels!!!

I have been dealing with these clowns for 9yrs worst customer service ever. I have been back and fourth with them and have never resolved the issue. I wouldn't recommend anybody to get Solar Panels from those company.

Finally got solar, very happy

The Sunrun team here in Dallas did a great job of explaining and demonstrating what the solar system would be like once installed. DALLAS permitting had a few delays but all in all it was smooth. The install team was amazingly adapts and listen to all concerns and were able to work with us on the detail of installation for wiring and panels. In the end, it looks amazing and I’m already seeing the benefits with the app showing me using 100% solar and no grid electricityWhat an amazing. What an amazing change for our home that uses so much energy to be self-sustaining now

Sunrun give me the hassle free and peace of mind for home solar system. From installation to activation of the solar system whole process was quick and easy. They also took care of all paperwork hassle free! I would recommend SUNRUN to anyone who is looking for a great solar company! Absolute sham of a company!

I had Sunrun Solar installed on my home in Arizona. The flim flam company they contracted to sell me my system lied through their teeth. They said “we will figure out exactly how many panels you need and you’ll NEVER have an electric bill. Well…..that was a lie! Between my Sunrun Bill and my APS electric bill I’m paying the same if not more!!!! I’ve called Sunrun and all they can say is “sorry, they shouldn’t have said that”. I’m guessing I may have to contact our AG for the State of Arizona for unfair consumer practices. Stay away from these ripoff artists.

Technical staff was courteous and professional, answering any questions that I may have.

The processing is fast and the staff are very helpful and friendly

This company is Shit!!! Damaged roof! $6056.13 Bill

I’m in an absolute circle with this GOD DAMN COMPANY FOR 18 months now! I have damage to my roof, it’s leaked into my just redone home for 10s of thousands of dollars and now I have ceiling damage and mold, they put they account in the wrong name and won’t fix it even though they been told dozens of times, the box is dangling off my home and being held against my house now by a ratchet strap and swings against the main electrical wire in the high storm winds, they put the panels over 3 layers of shingles which is a fire hazard, I received a bill from the electric company for $6056.13 in the end of June stating the panels have been off for over 18 months and collecting no energy, and I have to have the roof replaced now and they won’t come and remove them so I can get the roof repaired and so it just keeps getting more damage into the ceilings of my home!!! I’ve talked to so many god damn useless managers who do absolutely nothing except tie up my countless hours I’ve spent on the phone in a ring of people getting nothing done!! I’m fed up and can’t sleep in my own house tonight because the smell of mold is so bad that it instantly stuffs up my nose and I can’t breath unless I come outside!!!! I’m at the point that I’m now on social media and I have contacted local news channels. My home is being destroyed more each time it rains! Your managers are useless! Come take these panels off so I can fix the roof and not have my home condemned because of your shitty technicians poor workmanship! My home and family are in danger from fire as well!! Send someone to fix my roof, take off these panels, fix this god damn astronomical bill and get this shit off my roof!!! I’m located in RI!!!
