The sales representatives were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The technicians who arrived were hard working during the brief rain. The project manager had answered all of my questions effectively. Also, he provided me contact numbers in the event of any further concerns or emergency situations.

The experience thus far has been outstanding from sales to installation. Communication has been great throughout and we look forward to the final inspection to officially start using the panels. The installation team was excellent in and out in about 7 hours. Panels were installed to be the least visible and options were provided before beginning.

sunrun experience

kim helmuth my sales consultant is wonderful. sergio zuniga [installation crew foreman] and his crew did a fine job, the installed system looks great. the difficulties i have had are with the dept responsible for co-ordinating with the local city authorities and PGE the performance in getting my system approved and operational has been sub-par the system was completed august 19 and as of today sept 2, PGE has not rec'd any req'd documentation to move fwd with authorizing my my system to be permitted to be turned on

I very pleased with Sunrun. Solar. From the Salesperson to the installers these people are very professional.

Sunrun has been great to work with for getting more solar panels and back up batteries. A professional has contacted me each step along the way and explained the next steps. They are responsive when I call and have even changed the design as I brought up concerns. So far the installation was accomplished in one day and we are happy with the results. Waiting for SCE to install a meter and final inspection.

Considering how dead set against solar I was, Sunrun surprised me Their concept was different than competitors, because I didn't have to go into debt to get reliable solar, and maintenance and upkeep is included. Yeas, I still pay for electricity, but it's a drastically lower rate, and I don't have to worry about outages. Good people to do business with!

Installation completed

Installation was amazing. Design and planning was coordinated by Bennett from the Camarillo office. Installation completed by Fresno SunRun crew. Everything looks very professional. Awaiting inspections for system activation

Good Service

The Sunrun installation team was great! They started on time & were very thorough and professional. They answered all our questions and summarized the work completed at the end of the day. The work was done in a timely fashion and we were very satisfied with the results.

A very smooth and professional process

As a retired homeowner, I appreciate not having to put money down for solar, so Sunrun's PSA (Power Sharing Agreement) was a good deal for us. We believe solar is the right way to go, especially with high and rising utility costs. The sales process was very professional and polished. Sunrun's experience with lots and lots of installations really shows through. They were able to answer all of my questions and when I found something relatively new and obscure to ask about, they admitted they needed to research the question and were able to educate both of us. The house evaluation was very thorough and I appreciated that they came back when they had questions - I'd rather that than a failed installation! Installation was professional and fast. We were informed accurately when and how long power would be out and when they were done, they cleaned up very well and gave us a good overview of what they did. I've already started recommending friends!

Sunrun solar panel installation

Living in California in the area that PG&E serves, we are faced with rising energy prices and also a pricing scheme in with premium prices during the hours 4-9pm when we are actually using electricity. We wanted to escape this situation by installing a solar panel array. (We already use an all-renewable energy provider, but PG&E adds a large "delivery cost".) In our area, the cost of an appropriate array, with battery, is about $30k. We are seniors, and we would not amortize this cost over our expected lifetimes. Sunrun provided an excellent solution. They installed a solar panel system and battery, which they own, and lease it to us for a fixed monthly cost. Our electricity costs went down with respect to PG&E, and we have more freedom on when to use electricity during the day. Our Sunrun agent Ruan Meyer was very attentive to our needs and concerns and continued to support us through the installation process. The installation was done very professionally. Our contract includes a minimum performance guarantee, set at a quite comfortable level.

My solar consultant, Allison Huntly-johnson was incredibly helpful and well informed. She made the process easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Sunrun...

The installation crew were efficient, courteous and respectful of my home. The offered a better solution for placement of the powerwall than previously determined by the designers. All in all, a very positive experience.

True to words

Great company pleasure doing business with them. They are true to everything. They said so far the experience been great.It was a pleasure doing business with this company. They are highly reliable and trustworthy. So far, the experience has been positive.

Worst Company Ever

This company is a total scam. Had solar for years and it has not reduced my electric bill by that much. Told them the electric company and an independent consultant both said my system was not correctly communicating with the electric company because compared to previous years the excess shown by the electric company went way down (180 down to 15 on average) Nothing has changed in our house. They wanted $565 to come out for a check up visit. No one charges that much for a check up visit. Total scammers. Never go with SunRun.

Excellent service and communication

I was very impressed at how fast and professional Sunrun made the entire process. I encourage anyone how has the opportunity to go solar to consider the leasing option. They take care of all the scheduling and inspections. The electricians did a clean and solid job.

Panels installed, no permit sign offs

The experience of reviewing options, pricing and getting a new roof and the panels installed went well. Unfortunately Stephanie Perez, the "new expert on your way to activation" has not answered any calls nor truthfully responded in texts. It has been nearly 3 weeks and there are 3 inspections needed for which the town has not been contacted to schedule (town states they can schedule in 24 hours). Incredibly unresponsive since (as of now useless) panels were placed

Solar experience

Hi, I am currently a very satisfied customer of SunRun Solar. Jasmine Hereford was my salesperson. She was very thorough and patient when we met and went over all the details. She is very knowledgeable and if she doesn’t have the answer to your question she will call someone and get the answer immediately. Before installation they came out and measured. They kept me abreast of all the steps leading up to installation day. They arrived on time, did their work and cleaned up after themselves. I live in an HOA community that requires the pipes coming from the roof to be painted the same color as the home and they did it without hesitation. After installing they let me know that their part was done but had to wait on Nevada Power. Nevada Power then notified me as to when they would be out to inspect. They came out on the day as promised. The entire project was completed in less than four weeks. I strongly recommend SunRun as well as Jasmine.

Solar Panel Review

I was very happy with the service provided. The salesman was friendly and professional, and the installers were swift and courteous. The process was handled smoothly, and I would recommend it to others.

Installation

Installation went according to schedule with a job well done. Can’t give you a complete review because it’s only been two weeks and it has not rained yet.

Poor customer service

I have been a customer since 2016. I need a new roof and have a contractor ready to go. Sunrun contracts with a roofing company (not the case in 2016) to remove and reinstall the solar panels. I was told the cost for this service would be $499 2 months ago, on a recorded line. I spoke with someone last Friday and was told that wasn’t in my contract so she find the recording and ask leadership. She also said I would get a call back later that day on Monday. I called back because I hadn’t heard from anyone. I left a message for this person to call me back today is Thursday no response so I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor or manager. No one would get on the phone with me that I was told a manager would return my call in an hour three hours later I called back and again requested to speak with a manager after 30 minutes I was told I was being transferred to one of the top managers, and I waited and waited and waited until my call was Dropped. This is infuriating.

Everyone was professional and friendly. Work got done as quick as they could. They did a great job. Jasmine was a fantastic rep and did great navigating the process around my schedule.
