Installation of solar panels

Two different teams completed the installation. One upgraded the breaker box and the second team installed the solar panels and Tesla battery. Both worked professionally and competently. The foremen were helpful explaining the approval process leading to the full power up of the system.

Great service from Sunrun

I give Sunrun a great review for introducing me to the Maryland solar panel plan for solar power use without owning the panels that were installed on my house. All Sunrun representatives through the process were professional, knowledgable, and friendly. This included first call, working with Sunrun salesperson, house inspector, project management, installers, and electricians. I am looking forward to enviromenrally safer, cleaner, and cheaper electric power for my home.

Solar on the Ranch

I was always curious about solar since we live on a ranch and everything including our water was powered by electricity. We got tired of the high PGE bills and decided to give solar a try. Our advisor Felix Ucan was very informative and transparent about the whole process. He explained the benefits and even broke down the cons, always leaving us with the final decision and never pressured us into moving forward. Coincidentally he had just helped my Father in law get solar at their place and he had the families trust. Felix was very involved every step of the way reaching out and answering every which question we had. He went the extra mile to get our huge solar project done and we have been enjoying the results. Excellent indtallation

Sun Run no cash up front leasing option became a no Brainerd for me. I ended up with a large with two of the latest battery bachups. The installation was expertly done.

The installation was fine. Everything was fine with the services up until I tried filing an incident with them and they don’t want to take responsibility nor do they wanna help out whatsoever. I was told that they would email all the information and pictures that they had from prior of installation and I received nothing. I’ve had multiple specialists tell me that the solar panels should’ve never been installed on my roof due to mold that I had no knowledge of being there and it has been well over five years that it’s been happening and the panels have only been on my roof for two years. They take zero responsibility and they are not helping me at all with cost for repairs or anything.

Quick and Excellent Service

I was motivated to move to solar after some high utility bills. I have two family members with Sunrun and asked them first about it. Only heard good things. Decided to move forward. From beginning to end, the process was seamless. From sales to the installation crew, everyone was helpful.

Wow! Do not do business with them

SCAMMERS! Do not buy!!! I bought and regretted it! They claimed that I would get money back from the extra energy made and not used - so It has changed SoCal Edison does not offer this anymore. So I increased my system 5 panels in order to get money back and did not get batteries because i make 20% more than I need- but SoCal Edison charged me when is in the dark even though I Supply my energy for socal Edison for free!!! If your equipment break like inverter every 3 years - you will have to pay the installation $584 - August 2025. So basically no warranty My system was not working for months and I was paying and not get refunded for that time even though they say they have a performance team checking is BS! They just said it is your equipment and you must monitored yourself They broken my roof tile and just not fixed- gave to me $200 to fix it - WHO would fix for $200?! Very unhappy thst Costco support this shitty Co but I guess Costco has a piece of this scam Co

Installers were very knowledgeable and kept us informed of everything they were doing and they made sure they cleaned up all of their mess when they left?

They do not respond to requests

I have been trying to get my solar fixed since May and we don’t get any response. And I come to find out that they did not add our ADU meter to the solar and I’m getting bills for $2000 every month and I have called an email and I have no response now I’m going to cancel my service and stop paying.

It’s a mistake if you do go with Sunrun! Knowledgeable, professional, friendly great support when needed! There are many solar companies out there but only ONE Sunrun! All the others are knockoffs!

Very bad installation, ruined my roof

Very poor installation workmanship. Cracked several tiles, did not replace them, some of them glued together and fell apart after several years of sun exposure, some not even glued together. Also made unnecessarily big openings on the edge of the tiles that have the panel support legs. They also left various installation debris such as rails and caulk tubes on the roof. All these factors caused the leak under the panels. Yet with the clear evidence photos taken by the independent licensed roofers, they insisted that their installation quality was good and that the leak was not caused by their installation. They refused to take any responsibility for the damage.

Are sales Rep. Favi was great, Installation went well, first time we will be using battery back up, hope all goes as planned. We have had solar panels on our house for the past 15 years and we were happy with those.

Won't set up and inspection and want to charge $500 for a while system review even though the monitoring system tells us exactly what needs to be repaired. Customer service is useless.

I met with the sales rep several times, he was patient and answered my questions so that I was comfortable with the company, product and process to get home solar installed as quickly as possible. The process was smooth and efficient, from roof inspection to panels and power install, to various inspections. The last step was to have my meter changed so that it could record usage as well as overproduction, which translates to a credit on my account. All told, my system was just turned ON in only a few weeks! Every person I met was very professional, polite and worked together as a team. Thank you SunRun, 5+ stars for the entire experience
