Terrible service
I have had my system up and running now for two months and still don’t have a way to monitor my system like they promised. I have called a dozen times to try to obtain my username and password for my system and they still have failed to give me access to Monitor my system. I feel I have given them plenty of time to fix their efficiencies and still have failed to do so.

Solar panels
I posted before regarding this company. We had a terrible experience as I stated before. After not hearing a response from these people for four months, I began getting bills demanding payment. I had asked to cancel and that they remove their partially installed panels. They finally filed a mechanic lien on my property and we were forced to file a demand for arbitration. Once they received my demand along with supporting documentation, they decided to remove their equipment. In addition to the demand for arbitration, we filed a complaint with the California State Licensing board. In addition to their failure to provide what they promised, they partially installed without an approved permit. Their agreement want us to withdraw the arbitration request and the complaint with the licensing board. Installation without a permit can result in a 5000.00 penalty. So they want us to withdraw and sign a confidentiality agreement not to tell anyone the facts in the agreement. Of course they do not want anyone to know how unprofessional their company is. We agree to withdraw complaints but we have already discussed the contents of the agreement,so cannot agree to these terms. I don't wish that anyone else will have to endure such a bad experience. I recommend using a local company that does not have second and third party contractor/salespeople.

USE ANYONE ELSE
The only thing good about this company was the sales person but after that we ran into nothing but problem after problem, the install was scheduled over three times because they couldn't get their people out there, I'm not even including all the cancellations because of the weather. Thy broke 2 things on my roof that I had to repair myself, the customer service personal kept calling me Dude until I had to tell him to stop, They promised they would help with the tax rebates only to have to have my own tax person prepare them for me because they didn't have anyone to do it by tax time, the year after they had a third party call me and tell me they could get more money for us and charged us over $400 to do it to only find out that they are basing off a case that hasn't even won yet in court and if it doesn't win you will have to pay back the money and the fee's and penalties that come with it because they make you sign something that protects them and not you. Their lender Spruce lending has hidden fee's that you don't find out about until 13 months later when your bill will go up over $100 more than it already is. The solar panels they installed have a great reputation and a great warranty but Solcius Solar is not a good company to have install them.

Solar
I signed a contract with my smart house in may of 2017. The salesperson told me verbally that my system would be in by June 20th since I was having surgery. I was promised some extra things like thermal pads for my pool and the ring doorbell system. Needless to say, the date came and passed with no call from the company. I initiated a call and told it would be in by july. They said that they were waiting for permit approval. The plans were disapproved 4 times. Meanwhile, I never got calls from them with any updates. I had to keep calling and that is how I knew the plans were rejected. When they finally came out to install, the huge boxes were put right next to an entrance door and could present a safety hazard going in and out. So the installer said he could put the boxes on the inside. He put the boxes in but instead of running the conduit between the studs, he put them on the outside preventing access. They left for the day and said they would be back the next day. After three weeks,I called, and they said someone would be out the next day. No one showed up and no one called. This happened around 4 times. I called and the receptionist said she would get back with me right away. She did not call and When I called, my call went to voicemail. Meanwhile, it was around October when I said enough is enough. I told them to come pick up their panels. Then I started getting calls. They have told lie after lie. One person said they had to get a second permit because the panels were on two different locations. Another one said that Edison had pulled the permit. To cover themselves, they want to say that I delayed the process by changing the location of the boxes. The delays started way before that, and the installer didn't say there was a problem. In fact he changed the location. I got calls from several people saying that someone would call me to offer me an incentive to continue with them. Still, there was no call. The one person said I know we neglected you and we can give you some more incentives. I explained that I have lost complete faith in them. If I have this much trouble getting the system installed, how can I trust i can get be!p if something needs repair. I sent a letter to the company in December giving them 10 days to get their equipment and they didn't even respond. So they sent me a bill and threatens to put a lien on my house. Looks like it's going to be a court issue. PLEASE DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! My smart house is their dealer and they don't know what they are doing. They will promise you everything to get a sale and they move on.

I am not sure I really wanted it they took advantage of my inability to say. My mistake but I hate it. Now I am not stuck with a 25 year bill that I can’t afford.

this has been the most disgraceful company I have ever seen
I started my solar project Sept 27th 2017, I was really excited I couldn't wait to have a solar. it took them 5 try's to get the permits past the city just to install the solar (it seems that they had no idea what it takes to get through the permitting) then directly after the permit finally got approved I received a phone call from the installer (My Smart House) telling me they wanted 5000.00 more for the install it seemed that 52,000 wasn't enough to install my solar. So I called Solcius directly and questioned why this happened. Solcius sent an inspector out and they approved my home for the install. Until they changed out the main breaker then came out to install and walked away from the job

Very hard to deal with
To start out with was a very pleasant experience I was choosing between Solar City which is owned by Tesla and have their own sales reps. And this company which sublet their reps out apparently with no background checks or knowledge of what they are promising the bids came in pretty close between the two companies to win me over the edge I was promised a check for $1,300 to make my first years payments get all my other accounts in line so I had solar power installed was told by the salesman he is waiting to get paid from the mother company so he could cut me a check but guaranteed me before my first bill I would have the money my first bill came in the mail the sales rep to ask me how much it was for I told him 130 he told me he could not do the full amount right now but he would write monthly checks for 130 which I was okay with will 3 months into it no more checks solcius just told me they don't have any signed documentation that was between me and the sales rep there is nothing they will do for it they didn't say anything they can do for it. Will not refer any friends or family. I recommend going with a big company like solcius instead of trying to keep the small guys in business

This company needs to be gone.
SOLCIUS LLC is not a solar company you should use!! 9/16..roof passed inspection by them. 12/16..solar panels installed. About 2/16..got a $250 referral check because our son signed for panels the same time we did. (5months later) 3/17.. roof leak. "Not caused be solar panels" I read on line that a weak roof can cause leaks. I do believe we did have a leak but the panels probably made it worse. But, if they would have not passed the roof we would have had to have the roof replaced before we had the panels installed. The servicemen noted in his notes that there were shingles on our lawn that was caused by the install. 4/17..got an invoice for service call $250. Same amt as referral. Ironic maybe. They said it wasn't. 3/17.. had the leak fixed and was told I needed a new roof. 4/17 to 5/15..tried to get Solcius to drop the service chg and uninstall reinstall the panels at no cost to me. They refused. My cost for that was $800 plus my electric bill went from $12 one month to $118 the month that I had roof replaced. Think then think again before you hire this company!!

8 Months to finish with 4 FAILED city inspections
I signed the contract in October of 2016, panels and everything were finally installed and ready February, 10 2017. They failed inspections because the labeling wasn't done according to city code. The city emailed them (I was included in the email) the reasons why it failed along with a checklist of what they needed to do to fix it. I was fine with this, people make mistakes and each city is different. 3 weeks later they came out and put up two new labels. Failed again! You were given a checklist how could you fail again? We got another email form the city explaining they needed to fix the other labels on the checklist. 2-3 weeks later they put up some more new labels. FAILED AGAIN. Now you are wasting my time, wasting my energy that I could be saving and really starting to bother me with the 2-3 week delay in fixing this. A total of 4 failed attempts and 4 months of waiting. I was told I was their high priority to get things fixed. when they finally did everything on the checklist the city asked we could come out Tuesday or Thursday. Ok I am a high priority so I am assuming they would want to get it done Tuesday, I was wrong they said let's do the inspection Thursday. 8 MONTHS from start to finish. The best months for my panels to produce extra energy are February, March and April when I do not heat or cool my home, those months were wasted on their lack of following directions.
