Fantastic support from start to finish

We were first approached about solar about 8 months ago from a competing company which got us intrigued and interested but since we always thoroughly do our homework (my wife is a teacher and I'm a retired teacher now working part time at the Community College) it didn't take long to realize the first company just wouldn't cut it. We did some research and narrowed it down to two companies with great reviews and reputation, Sol-Up being one of them. We set up a meeting with one of their sales associates (Dan) who did a very thorough job explaining everything. We were all in after that. The greatest selling point was that they are exclusively use Panasonic solar panels which get stellar reviews. So after that talk everything they promised they delivered on in a timely manner. The only slight hang-up was Nevada Energy took their time in getting to the inspection, but they even gave us a heads up about that and it was still within the time frame that was discussed. Our panels were installed in April of this year (2019) the inspections were all done within 5 weeks and our panels starting producing energy three weeks ago. Great Company!

I don’t review anything unless it’s truly outstanding – either good or bad. I thoroughly agree with the other reviewers’ ratings and comments who gave Sol-Up USA a 5-star review. Sol-Up USA is outstandingly good and very competitively priced. A local Las Vegas solar installation company, they have done a remarkable job from start to finish handling everything from A to Z, including the approval paperwork for the HOA, permits, applications, etc. Every single contact, without exception, with the company and its employees, from the initial consultation with Grant, who was very knowledgeable and provided a ‘just right’ presentation without all the marketing hype that some other solar installation company representatives did, and who noticed my veteran’s license plate and, without me saying anything, included a veteran’s discount in the estimate (which none of the other companies I got estimates from did) - very much appreciated! Joe, who came out to do the site survey, all the staff I’ve dealt with (Andrea, Chayvon, Krystelle, Charlene) via phone calls and emails, and the installation crew (Omar, Luis B., Ketton and Grady) who showed up on-time, completed the 25-panel installation in one day, were respectful of my property and completely cleaned up when the installation was completed. All were thoroughly professional, very helpful and responsive, providing information and answering all my questions. They have great reviews across multiple websites, all well-deserved. I whole-heartedly recommend Sol-Up USA to anyone wanting to install solar in the greater Las Vegas valley.

Highly Recommend Sol-up USA

I have only positive things to say about my experience with Sol-Up. I interviewed several companies and here are a few reasons why I chose Sol-Up: I liked that they are a small, locally-owned business, and that they're "one-stop-shopping" so to speak. They do everything from the initial sales call, to securing all of the necessary permits, to installation, to the final home visit post-installation to discuss the system's production and warranty. 2. I was fortunate enough that the company owner, Frank, was the person I first I met with Sol-Up when he came to my house for the sales call. Even with Frank being an engineer he was able to explain everything in layman's terms for my unfamiliar solar-panel-brain to absorb. He was patient with my questions and explaining things multiple times until it would finally soak in. Also, Frank had a suitcase of the actual pieces of hardware that are used in combination with the panels. It was really nice to see/touch the hardware with my own eyes/hand to better understand the quality of the products that they're using. 3. Sol-Up is the only company I found that offered a 25yr panel warranty from Panasonic itself. Everybody else offers warranties from their panel distributor company which could possibly not be around in another 25yrs. But I feel confident that Panasonic will still be here given Panasonic's proven history. Sol-Up's price was very competitive with the other company's I interviewed. Even if their price had been slightly higher I would've chosen them due to the higher quality of service and products that I was receiving. 4. The customer service that I received over the phone during the permitting and pre-installation process and the in-person post-installation visit was all truly A+.

Best solar company around Las Vegas area!

I talked with many different solar companies before I ended up selecting the best -- Sol-up! I feel that the great customer service is probably the reason they are highly rated everywhere. The whole process was directed from their side and I didn't have to worry about what to do next. Special mention to "Dan" (Hootan Tofigh) for first explaining everything clearly from the very start and then following up with me as per my schedule. I would definitely recommend them to my friends!

Happy to partner with them

I did my research and spoke with all the major outlets in Las Vegas and chose Sol-up for the technology, honesty, production forecast, and warranty assurances. I have been happy with the choice. Our installation was delayed by the snow storm, of all things, but went fairly smoothly. I was disappointed with the 6-week lag between installation and energy production, though. I am not sure where the fingers are properly pointed; either at NV Energy or Sol-Up, but I was hoping for more energy production credit before the summer months. Oh well....now that we are up and running, I am thrilled with the interactive tools and am confident that my choice in a partner was a good one.

Yea! I got to turn Sol-Up solar system on today! We’re very happy we went with Sol-Up. The house we used to live in had a Sol-Up solar system and we were very happy with both the system performance and the awesome customer service. Every one is so nice, friendly and helpful in their LV office. Dan T did a great job explaining the recommended system and options and Zach in technical helped me solve an electrical panel upgrade requirement we had to enable installation of a tankless water heater in parallel. The installers (Grady, Geo and Andrew) were fast and completed my installation in one day and Krys in support is super nice and helpful. Sol-Up has exceeded our expectations! They followed through on every phase of this project and we are ecstatic!

Excellent company to deal with- superb customer experience

Before picking Sol-up, I got quotes and interviewed with 6 different companies large and small from Tesla all the way to Costco's partner Sun Run. I knew Sol-up was serious because it was the only company that had the business owner come and negotiate the contract with you. He knew what he was talking about....unlike a bunch of "salesmen" that had to report back to headquarters before giving you an answer. I appreciate that. Frank, the owner, not only put together a contract that I was happy with, he reached out to me to amend the contract when the finances got tough and gave me cold feet. The rest of the operation ran silky smooth...I was impressed with everybody I had to interact with during the installation process. As a business owner myself, I like the way Frank operates his company and treats his customers. I don't normally go on the internet to make reviews, but I thought Sol-Up deserves good word. Good luck to others in getting their solar installed. Sol-up is who I highly recommend.

Great service, quality product, great price.

Sol-up was hands down the best company out of the 3 companies that I got quotes from. And I'm not just talking about price. The quality of the panels were superior and employees were friendly and professional. Thank you Sol-up!

They did what they promised, in time, high quality

When I was shopping for solar panels back at December 2018, I narrowed it down to two companies. After extra research and presentation Dan made, I decided to go with Sol-Up because of few things: - Sol-up was the only Panasonic solar panel licensed company in town. I wanted to go with Panasonic panels as they seems slightly better. - Guys provided all details and answered all questions such as what kind of wind installation can hold, warranty (labor and parts), system productivity over long time of use etc. - Price was competitive. I liked their extras. In short, what they done - it meets all my expectation, panels are great. Consumption monitor pretty much self explanatory. The job was done accurately. I like what I've got and so far it works great.

Great All Around Company

I researched solar energy for over 2 years. I researched the panels down to the smallest piece of hardware I wanted. When I finally chose to install solar, I reached out to multiple companies and received multiple estimates. Sol-Up was the ONLY one that provided the best product, the best warranty, the best experience all around. Beginning with the product-Panasonic (best on the market, right now) to the smallest piece of hardware used they provide excellent quality. I signed my contract with them on Nov. 28, 2018 and was able to flip the solar switch on March 6, 2019.(It was worth the wait)! Each technician, each phone call, each email has been a pleasant experience. Fabulous customer service. To be fair, this experience has not been without hiccups, but Sol-Up USA representatives have proven very helpful, professional, and reliable. I highly recommend them to everyone looking for solar.

Great work, hassle free

Earlier this week, we finally had our solar panel installation from Sol-Up. Day 1 installation crew was Jeovanni, Andrew and Grady. The team arrived around 7:45am and actually arrived on our property quietly and professionally. We went outside and were warmly greeted by the team as they introduced themselves. They let us know it would be an all-day job and that the electricians would have to come back the next day to finish the work. The team began by removing some roof tiles and asking us what we would like them to do with the removed tiles. Things got loud pretty quickly as the team began their process. One of the team kept us informed each step of the way which was really neat to be part of the process as it occurred on our roof. I had planned on making a big lunch for the crew to show my appreciation for their skill and just as I had lunch on the table, the rain came! We gathered the crew under our dry patio cover and let them eat while we got to know them a bit. Each man was polite and told us a little about themselves. This interaction really made the whole experience a lot more personal and made us feel valued as customers. After lunch, the rain blew away and the wiring and panel installation was complete. The crew finished up around 2:00pm, cleaned up after themselves and let us know to expect the next crew around the same time the next morning. Day 2 Electricians - Domi and JVR (Javiar) showed up with bright smiles and enthusiasm for their job. They introduced themselves and got to work on the roof. The inverter in our garage was clearly explained to us and well as the disconnect and meter. It was also explained that the county would have to make their inspection first and then NV Energy would come out to make the final inspection before the system could be turned on. Another lunch and another sit-down to get to know the crew a little bit more. Again, I wanted them to feel welcome and appreciated while on our property. Great conversation and I really enjoyed getting to know Domi and JVR a bit. They finished up around 4pm and left our property cleaner than it was when they arrived. Our inspection is already scheduled for later this week. (Less than 7 days after installation). This entire process from speaking with the office personnel to our initial consultation to actual installation has been professional and hassle-free. No pressure from anyone at any point and we were involved every step of the way. We had some curious neighbors ask questions and I do hope they decide to install solar through Sol-Up as well! Cannot recommend this company enough. Truly exceptional service!

Outstanding Customer Service

A superb company from start to finish. I have very high confidence that Sol Up will be there for all my questions and solar needs. Very professional crew from sales to installation to customer service. I will be contracting them again for solar installation on my second home. Highly recommend Sol Up! 5 Stars all the way!

Our 2nd System- Sol-Up has best product and staff

Sol-Up gave us a higher quality system at a lower price than our previous home. We had 3 estimates locally and although Sol-Up was not the cheapest, their estimate was not the highest, But their product in my opinion was better. The Bi-Facial panel is more efficient and Frank answered my list of questions to our satisfaction. The necessary architectural review went without any issues and we set a date. The crew arrived on time and the install went great. Rain prevented a consecutive day completion but every clear day they were here until it was done. 28 panels. A month after the installation, Nevada energy installed the meters, we got our PTO, and we are now producing power. We can't be happier. Thank You Sol-Up !! You are awesome !!

True Professionals

Brian was my main point of contact during the after installation communications... he answered all my questions in a timely manner and, as with all others at Sol UP, was very professional and courteous. Additionally, the installation team on the day the panels were applied to our roof, were all polite, swift, and courteous.

Highly Recommend! Great Experience!

I was a solar skeptic after dealing with a company trying to scam me. I was looking for an excuse to not get solar when I had Sol Up contact me. At every turn they changed my mind. Price Great! Service Better! Products Top Notch! Warranty longer than loan! Love these guys!

Solup

The crew that came out on Jan 11th was great, they explained the installation and each of the components function on the solar panels. The Administration of Sol Up was great as well, the follow up and the assurance of our solar panels were good, I will write another review in one year to see their overall support.

Solar Panel Installation

In late 2018 we wanted to install solar panels. We met with three different companies. Sol Up seem not to have an agenda and answered all our questions. Other companies we met tried to pressure us into signing and they were more expensive. Installation was on time. I had a concern during the process and it was settled the same day. The painting is beautiful. The after-sale called me and answered my questions. The last appointment with technical support, he answered all our questions again. This was a very pleasant experience. This is the BEST Solar Company in Veas

Can't say enough good thinks about this company and its people. Go with Sol-Up for these reasons: -Best warrenty, 25 years -Great Panasonic panels for our extreme heat -Outstanding customer support from the sale, navigating NV Energy & HOA paperwork to install and hookup. I needed the panels installed before 2018 to take advantage of the tax break for 2018 and Sol-up started the install the day we had HOA approval, 27 December. The install team was exceptional, great communication and they arrived on time! Omar, Alfredo, Luis and Keeton were very professional during the 2 day install process. The next part was the hardest... waiting the 20 business for NV Energy takes to install the Net Meter. Once the meter was installed it is just a simple flip of the switch and now we are making our own power👍 There are several Solar Companies in Las Vegas but this is the one to choose!!

Flawless execution

When I decided to go solar I solicited bids from half a dozen companies. I eventually chose to go with Sol-Up USA for several reasons. One reason is because the reviews on Sol-Up across a variety of platforms are overwhelmingly positive. Another reason is because in my conversations with the owner, Frank Rieger, I believed him to be the most sincere and knowledgeable of all of the people who came for an in-home consultation. The price for the system that he and his team designed was also quite competitive. After visiting tree Sol-Up showroom, I signed on the dotted line. The communication was great throughout the process and my system actually got installed about a month ahead of schedule due to a cancellation. The installer crew of Grady, Brandon, Drew amd Kerry were all very personable, professional and efficient and they were sure to clean up after themselves once the panels were on the roof. Moreover, they even sent a drywall guy to patch up a hole in my garage and paint it at no extra charge because my inverter needed to go there. It's now around four months post installation and my system has been performing a bit better than I expected. I certainly recommend Frank and his team at Sol-Up and if I had to do it all over again, I would still choose them!

Great Choice

After researching and reading many reviews, we met with 5 different solar companies. Sol Up U.S.A. exceeded our expectations with their presentation, and ability to answer all our questions honestly and thoroughly. Altho theirs was not the cheapest bid for our home project, we chose them for a number of reasons:  they are located right here in Las Vegas; they use only their own employees to install the systems, no out side contractors.  Grant, the sales rep who presented our proposal was friendly, knowledgable, and did a great job explaining the process and timeline for the project. A 25 year warranty for the system can't be matched. Everyone we came in contact with during the installation did a very clean and efficient job; with everything done in a day and a half. When the city inspector came to sign off on the job, he remarked that it was done a lot better than others he had recently seen. ( Shout out to Omar and his crew ) Charlene in the Sol Up office was amazing. She kept us up to date with all progress on our project prior to the installation itself, and had NV energy scheduled immediately after insulation for final approval on turn on. Everything is working perfectly! We feel that we have made the very best choice in using Sol Up; and we highly recommend them if you are thinking solar.

Good product, good price, but most importantly, great customer service. Frank and Chayvon were excellent in answering my questions, addressing my concerns. The team always showed up on time, and did a thorough install and clean up. No complaints from my HOA, either! LOL Had a few minor issues with aesthetics when they installed the panels, but fixed and addressed all issues as they promised they would. Highly recommended!

Best Decision We Made!

Over the past year my wife and I were searching for a possible solar company to install a system on our roof to eliminate our large monthly electric bill. We talked to several companies and with several of them we felt like we were dealing with a car dealership and not a solar energy company. Many companies were pressuring us with offers and deals and wanting us to rush to install with their companies. From the first day we talked to Dan at Sol-up we could tell it was a different company. Dan answered all our questions, explained a lot of options, and never pressured us to do anything without letting us think about it. Once we made the decision to go with their company, each step of the process was fully explained to us in detail, they answered every phone call quickly and all their employees would answer e-mails urgently. They took care of all the details we had that I worried about with dealing with our HOA, and helping with what we need for tax refunds. We are now a couple weeks in of producing our power and the system is working great. Like I said before, it was the best decision we made, and great company to work with.

Completely Happy With the Whole Process

From the initial meeting, to the installation, and the final walk through we could not have been happier with Sol-up. The process was explained well and the installation was fast and clean. The panels look great and function as promised.

Frank and his team at Sol-up are a rarity in this day and age. I got 4 quotes, including Sol-up, who had the best price. Best price means nothing without a quality product. Luckily, Sol-up offers the best panels and most efficient system overall. The install team are hard workers who are meticulous and clean at the end of the day. I couldn't imagine anything going better. I'm two energy bills in, and the system is performing as quoted. If you fail to get a quote from Sol-up, you are doing yourself a disservice!

Great people great system

Every part of the process Sol-up did an amazing job. After meeting and getting quotes from 7 solar companies I Choose Sol-up. The sales representative Grant was no pressure. Answered all my questions. The part that stood out with the salesman was unlike the others he didn't bad mouth the other companies. Then they use the top of the line panels. My system was installed quickly compared to other reviews of companies I have read. The installation team Andrew, Grady, Kerry and Geo. was quick, clean, professional. I'm kind of a nosy person so they were patient and walked me through what was going on. Within 2 months my system is on and working. Even after they have followed up with me a couple times.
