Overdue review! Outstanding

After 4 years of "check ins" and follow up calls from Mr Cassidy, his assistant, Julie, asked if we could post a review, if it was not too much trouble and I said, proudly. We had our solar installed with Semper Solaris in November 2014. Wow is an understatement of how amazing they all were, from beginning, to now. We did our homework, researched several companies and did five interviews. We chose Semper Solaris so glad we did. It started with Robert Cassidy, our Seniors Sales Consultant. He has to be the most educated sales representative I have ever worked with. His passion for his business is evident. We were so willing to buy more then we needed and actually wanted to make sure we had enough for future growth. He educated us on why that was not a sound investment, how PG&E's NEM (Net Energy Metering) worked, but would do as we wished. Luis, in the Hayward office, made the process so much smoother she made sure we had no stress in the whole process. Julie set up all the follow ups. Rob got all of our questions answered as they popped up for things we thought of later. When the big day came we had the Tango crew show up, Daniel, Dustin,Taylor and Shawn (THANK YOU!) They gave me a courtesy call thirty minuets before they arrived. They were on time and I have NEVER seen a group of young men work so so hard in such unbelievable high heat. They were the most respectful group of men, and so very careful to make sure we were well taken care of. They never left a mess, they for sure went way over the standard for great customer service. Their knowledge was very helpful for us to understand our new system. So if anyone is thinking of going solar we highly recommend them. It takes a lot for myself or my wife to be so impressed. I had served many years in the Marine corps, and I know Esprit De Corps and the best of the best . Semper Solaris hit that mark for sure. Thank you team.

VERY surprised to have my installation go so smoothly, especially here in San Carlos. I was referred to this company from my lawyer and decided to give them a shot. Their Senior Rep, Robert Cassidy, came out to speak to us. We do NOT make decisions like this in the moment, but after going through this a few times, it was evident there was no reason to put it off any further. Manny and team completed our installation. Rob came back out to walk us through the monitoring and PG&E interface. He also educated us why we should go out and buy space heaters to burn our credit (Which we did) There are very few companies that have employees this passionate. Kudos to Rob, Manny & team. Such a great family company. Went to the Hayward office, Ryan Travalini was so helpful and nice to work with. Definitely worth coming to for your solar needs.

Easy

I didn’t know that it could be so easy, but Caesar Loche answered all of my questions and made it make so much sense. I can’t believe I hadn’t done this before! Thank you, Semper Solaris for helping my family and I with something as essential as owning our own personal power-plant saving money while we let the sun do all the work! Ha!

Semper Solar

My family and I were thoroughly impressed by Semper Solaris. Everyone in the office, installers and the energy rep Brian Oberman kept us up to date every step of the way. With Brian's expertise and guidance, we created the perfect system to eliminate our bill. We appreciated his humor and no pressure sales approach which put us at ease immediately. System was installed and running in surprisingly 6 weeks considering it could have taken 8-10 weeks. We enjoyed the system very much so during the summer running the AC and then seeing our PGE bill at ZERO. Thank you guys again!

Impressed

Semper Solaris & Blake did what they promised and more. Job was completely on time with no issues. I purchased a 7,500 watt American made system. They have fantastic ratings so wants they snowed me the number and saw the savings it was a no brainer. I'm not one of those people that talk to 10 companies putting my wife through hell looking for the best price. I wanted a good price but a quality product and installation. Did my own research and read reviews online of the supposedly 10 top rated companies close to me. Semper solar looked GOLD to what I was able to find. My monthly saving will be $52 a month but more if I paid it off early. $52 is $52 but with solar your not going to pay for ever like with the electric company. Don't waste your time and just call these people they are a great contractor.

Met with semper Solaris six weeks ago. From the day I made the appointment over the phone to when I met with Blake Lewow I felt really comfortable with them. Blake had a really impressive presentation that three other companies had no such thing. Explained a lot. They installed my system in 2 days because they had to upgrade my main electrical panel. Looks great and really happy to be done paying Edison. Great service

Amazing service

Semper Solaris did a great job on my solar installation. Blake was my representative and was helpful and knowledgeable. He helped make everything smooth. Construction only took one day with a team of three gentlemen. Blake promised me the system would be installed around 8 weeks and it was installed in four and a half.

If you're thinking about solar I highly recommend Semper Solaris. Our salesperson Anela was professional, pleasant, and honest. I bought from her because she was the only salesperson I talked to who was honest and gave me a good price. Then the installers and project managers were just as good. They did what they said and said what they would do from start to finish. There are not many solar contractors like this. My finished system looks great and works great.

Best solar ever!

Fantastic company

Nothing but good things to say about Semper Solaris. They installed a 9,000 kw system on my house here in Riverside. From the first person I met with Blake to the last guy who came out to my house with the city inspector everyone was knowledgeable and nice, even with all the questions I kept asking, some over and over again. I have already referred my brother who just started the process of going solar with them.

I'm excited to say that my new solar installation is now complete after the last 2 days they have been working on the installation. The project took about 6 weeks from the day I met with my representative Blake to today once it's all finished up on my roof. Really excited to join the Semper family only hear positive things. My friend went solar with semper Solaris over a year ago and referred me because I went to his house for a party and we started talking about his solar panels that he's been really happy with. So I made an appointment sounded really good to me and I'm really excited I won't be having to pay anywhere from $100 to $500 a month in electricity bills.

After Research, Multiple Estimates, and a Dire Need to Not make a bad decision I found the Company that was Just Right for me. Learning the way different companies explained the types and benefits of Solar taught me quite a bit. For example I noticed that with most companies they pushed the benefits of the Solar toward their prime products while making other options sound less attractive and unrealistic. Then I sat with Rob Cassidy at Semper Solaris. He told me straight about his knowledge of Solar. He taught me the benefits of the different types of Solar plans (Leasing or Buying). His answers to my questions reaffirmed what I knew or already surmised while shedding light on questions I had and/or Negative remarks other companies had said about certain things . Throughout the conversations we had I felt more and more reassured about his Sincerity and Knowledge. I at no point felt that he was steering me in a direction but instead felt that I was being taught the various Benefits of Plans and Products. In the end I felt confident that we had created a Plan that best suited my household with the absolute Best Panels available today(some companies needed way more roof space and panels in order to produce the same amount of electricity). After consideration of All, it was Semper Solaris Hayward for me. The Products, Knowledge of Solar, Warrantees, and Concentration on Integrity within the Company made me feel confident in my Decision. Then the Installation. Thank You Manuel Rios and Team Tango. You were all Reliable, Professional, Hard Working, and Efficient. It was absolutely effortless on our parts. We were amazed at how well the process went. PG&E was taken care of by you all, the panels were put in and Beautiful, and we were up and running quicker than I thought possible. I want to thank Robert Cassidy, who I knew was an expert, but after vetting Rob, and Semper through the CSLB, Linkedin, and review sites, Semper is HANDS DOWN the company to do solar. I Definitely appreciate you all, and my new lower bill!!

New solar installation

Just had my solar panels installed just over a week ago from semper Solaris and they did a fantastic job. We met with them about 5 weeks ago and Blake was our rep. He explained everything from the company to different panels. He showed us the PPA and the purchase. After he explained all the benefits of both programs we choose a no money down purchase. We got American made panels made by sunpower and they look great on our house. I was not excited about having big panels on our house but these solar panels are really nice and low profile. The install took a day and a half . The install team didn't make as much noise as I thought they would and they cleaned up their mess before leaving. The inspector just came out yesterday and approved my solar so the job is now complete. I asked the inspector if they did a good job compared to what he's use to seeing and he said they did a really good job he fails on average of 10 solar installations a month for various reasons. I was happy to know I made the right choice with semper Solaris. But if it wasn't for Blake making everything so easy to understand we probably would still be paying Edison for awhile. Great experience all the way around. Oh and we have a 25 year warranty on they system. Thats Awesome.

A stellar experience

We had a wonderful experience with our contact Anela Havellana and everyone that we came into contact with at Semper Solaris. Our system was installed in less than a day and was totally up and running by the end of the week. We are recent transplants from Seattle and Solar just seemed like a no brainer especially after seeing our power bills here in San Diego.

Couldn't be happier...MUST READ REVIEW

We were looking to get a solar system installed for our new home because, quite frankly, we were fed up with these massive SDGE bills. Needless to say, it was a daunting task to sift through all of these different solar contractors to see who was the best contractor. Best to me is defined as a contractor that is going to do quality work on my home, use great materials and be competitively priced. I’m a serial researcher…meaning I don’t pull the trigger on anything until I do a TON of research and learn as much as I can. Let me just save you the hours and hours of time by offering two pieces of advice: 1) Call Semper Solaris 2) Ask to meet with Roland Obana Roland is very knowledgeable and answered every question I could throw his way (from how the system would be installed, what it would look like, how much money I would really save, warranty info, etc). He really made us feel comfortable about this investment. Thereafter, Semper Solaris did their job and executed just like Roland promised. Things don’t always go this smoothly with other contractors but these guys are the leaders of solar in San Diego for a reason. Follow my advice and don’t look back. I’m saving a TON of money now!

Great Service

The crew at Semper Solaris where amazing. The first initial meeting with Genevieve was where we got all the info on how the install would go and it went just as planned. The office staff Veronica and Vinney where also very informative on what was going on and where we would be week by week. Our system was installed in 6 weeks from meeting with Genevieve. Our project manager Mark and his crew where awesome and very clean on the install. I would definitely recommend this team for your solar needs.

Great Job

We had Semper Solaris do our solar panels. Our experience w semper has been great. Throughout the entire process, Caesar Loche was excellent and supportive, as were other members of the SemperSolaris Team. To us, dealing with regular people and also with military backgrounds was key to choosing them. We love our Solar so far! Now we don't need to worry so much about running that A/C a little more during the hot summer months.

A new start with Solar - part 1

This review is so far on the service as my system has not yet been installed. I will follow up once that portion is done This is my second go on solar. Two years ago I didn’t know if Semper Solaris and by recommendation I went with another company who was very popular because of who their owner is... they make Electric cars now. Anyway, I don’t regret going solar but just disappointed at that company’s fall of their customer service. Anyway, this second time I was resolved to interview as many companies as I could to make sure I made the right decision. Semper Solaris was my fourth interview and Ron Schaefer was the rep who came to my home. I respected and appreciated his realistic and simplistic and no gimmicks approach to solve my requests on building the system I wanted. He was polite and flexible with my hesitation to do any deal than and there... the research I had done, the value I was getting on the product and Ron’s service made me choose Semper Solaris as the company I would purchase my system with.

Ronald Schaefer and Semper Solaris provided me a great experience throughout the solar purchasing process. I was always informed and kept in the loop about the timelines and next steps. I would recommend Semper to anyone interested in adding Solar to their home.

Great company

We had a great experience with Semper Solaris and called them after seeing one of their TV commercials. We gave them a call and they came out a few days later. After we had our pool put in, our energy costs with Edison continued to rise. We decided to look into solar options and decided that a lease did not make sense for us, and that a purchase was the way to go. We evaluated a few other companies and decided to go with semper Solaris because they have been in business a long time, they use quality American made products and offer a great warranty. The staff was very professional and helpful at every step of the process. Blake Lewow was our rep and after we met with him the first time we had questions here and there and he always answered our calls and texts messages right away. If you are planning on going solar or starting to look into it I recommend you meet with Semper Solaris and try to meet with Blake. He gave us more information than all the other companies we met with combined
