Semper Solaris Eco System

I moved to Bakersfield 2 years ago from Los Angeles, and my place needed a new roof and HVAC system. I also wanted a Solar & Storage system which is a pretty tall order right?! Well, I figured it out and started the process with Robert at Semper Solaris. I have (9) squares of flat roof and (5) squares of slope. I discovered that the flat section of my roof wasn't draining properly so I decided to have the company build a taper system for my new IB PVC roof. I also chose their Owens Corning, Duration Cool product for the sloped portion, and voila! It came out perfect! While in the permitting process for my Solar & Storage system, we were ready to install my new 5 Ton, 16 SEER, all-electric package unit. To reduce exposure to common bacteria & viruses and to protect against allergies & asthma, I made sure we added the MicroPure MX4 Air Scrubber and AprilAire 5000 Air Filter. I also added the ECOBEE digital thermostat. ALL HIGHLY RECOMMENDED add ons! Next up, (25) 360W Panasonic Evervolt panels with SolarEdge inverters! I also installed (2) Tesla Powerwall batteries. Why? I bit the bullet to be as legally off the grid as possible! My main motivation for my (2) batteries was to transform my house into a "Self-Powered Home! Great Company

I am so happy I chose Semper Solaris for my roofing/solar project. They were great from start to finish. Jessica Robertson was the sale woman. She has been helpful with all my questions. Every person from the appointments to the installation was great to work with. Plus my roof looks AMAZING! I would recommend them to anyone I know.

Great Solar Company Service

I interviewed several companies before I decided to go with Semper Solaris. One of my major reasons for selecting Semper Solaris was the representative, David K., who came out to give his pitch....ten months later, I am completely satisfied with and product and David is STILL accessible when I have questions....that in it's self is fantastic. The installation was fast, problem free, and I felt the installers were very knowledgeable as to the product and Semper Solaris...It is easy for me to give them Five Stars.

Honest, Transparent, and Professional

Customer service was no a pressure sales. Our Sales Rep Ricky Rodriguez was on time, honest, transparent, and professional. The timeline was more than expected due to outside factors. Would recommend Semper Solaris. We really like that the panels are made in the United States. The company's motive is for Veterans by Veterans. Ricky provided us much more information from other companies which influenced our decision to go with him and Semper Solaris. We have our system installed on 10/17/2021 and look forward to the savings.

The service and follow through exceeded our expectations, And the savings exceeded their estimates. The most unexpected benefit is my wife not having to reset all our clocks when there is an outage...the battery takes over immediatly....my wife says that was worth it by itself.

Honest company!!

My experience with Semper Solaris was excellent! Nothing like the first company who came out (Fuzion). The first company didn't want to provide any documents about the solar before signing the loan papers. I called other companies, they made appointments but didn't show up. Raedene Solano was the person who came to my home. Everything was upfront about the system, financing, etc. She did an awesome job helping me understand and representing Semper Solaris. She gave me all the information from the beginning and I was comfortable with how she set it up. Thank you, Rae! Thank you, Semper Solaris!

Extremely Professional and Very High Quality Installation

Semper Solaris installed our backup battery and did a spectacular job. From the very beginning where Alex Darr provided above and beyond service. Alex proactively fixed small hurdles in front of us so that the process of signing up and choosing options and locking in a path was done super smoothly. He was always readily available via phone, email and text to answer any questions I had and remove bottlenecks in the process. I was genuinely impressed. The Semper Solaris employees continued to impress me during the entire job. They kept me in the loop as the project plans were developed, did several pre-inspections and then the installation was extremely well executed. Everybody I interacted with was courteous, very knowledgeable and professional their role. The system was installed without incident. They installed it such that I was super-happy, adapting the design as I changed my mind. The quality of the electrical work was very high. They kept the jobsite very clean and multiple people reached out to ensure everything met my expectations. Indeed they exceeded my expectations! I would thoroughly recommend them to friends and utilize them again. My first call would be to Alex. Thank you Alex and Semper Solaris team!!

Great company, top-notch customer service, reliable

My wife and I are interested in renewable energy and just trying to be a bit more planet-responsible. We’ve been researching solar energy for a while, and we received bids from different companies, we settled with Semper Solaris not only for the cost but for the amazing customer service we received throughout the process. Our sales representative Alexander Darr was the nerve center of the whole process, he made our transition to solar & batteries pleasant, easy, and I can't praise this guy enough for his professionalism, attentiveness in going above and beyond to help us every step of the way. The installer Eric Lopez and his crew were awesome. Overall I had a wonderful experience, and we consider ourselves blessed dealing with a wonderful team, helped us transition to solar & battery energy that was designed to fit our needs and power usage! We just passed the final inspection on September 13th, although we are in the very early stage of our solar system, I feel very confident that this is one of the best decisions we made!

Fantastic customer service

David K came out to give us an estimate for two PowerWalls. He was masked, on time and professional in every way. He was helpful and available throughout the process. High on my priory list was on-time delivery and clear honest communication; I had concerns since I was aware that Tesla was behind on production/distribution of Powerwalls. To our delight, the batteries were installed, and approved by both the county and SDG&E three weeks ahead of the earliest date on their promised date range. The installation crew, Eliseo and Dave, were professional and knowledgeable and patient in answering my many questions. Semper HVAC guy (name?) was super friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He determined we did not require a modification on our A/C unit (which saved us $500). Customer support was in constant and clear communication. Admin promptly submitted documentation for SGIP rebate. Fantastic customer service. Rob in battery support gave thorough direction and guidelines and answered all of my questions about the battery specs and using the app. Semper was not the cheapest, but they were fantastic and I'm glad I went with them. Great experience

We shopped around a bit but settled with this company, primarily because of the sales representative, Gary Phillips. He was very knowledgeable, and was so patient, even though I asked a lot of questions. He made us feel like we were the most important client and always took as much time needed to help. Highly recommend them, but make sure you ask for Gary Phillips

Semper Solaris and Gary Phillips ROCKS! We are in the middle of the project for solar and Tesla batteries - SO excited and Gary is really great to work with - He is fast to respond and takes time to asnwer all questions and concerns! I live where we get a LOT of power outages and this is exactly what I need!

After interviewing 4 other solar roof companies, I choose Semper to replace my roof and install panels. Was a little worried this would take a looong time as contract stated 10 to 12 weeks before start. I was not prepared to wait since I had a leaky roof and at first communication was hard. Roofer, Carlos never called when I was told he would. He eventually did give me a call weeks later but had nothing to do with installing the roof, solar panel designer was not listening to the assessor as to where and what things needed to be done. However my salesman Gary Derrick was awesome and got right on my project! Within no time he had the roof contractor, Michael, in touch with me. I received emails that permits had been pulled with the city and SCE contacted. My roof was installed, Great Job! My panels were installed the week after, Looks great! Just waiting for SCE permission to turn on (it all ready seems to be working) and information on the app to monitor. All done in good time. Thanks Gary!

Semper Solaris

We sought several company to purchase and install solar panels on our home. Semper was by far and away the most professional team we interviewed and have been very pleased with their installation and its performance.

Great Company.

Michael Gault was our rep and was very informative, helpful. First- the process took about 8+ weeks, which seems very good. Princess Echon is very responsive and very helpful. She either answered my question or found the person who could. She was the highlight of the process. Billie Jean was helpful. Her voice mail was full one time. But every time Princess referred my email to Billie, Billie answered promptly. The installation went well. The city building inspection had to be rescheduled when your company rep missed the city inspector the first time which delayed the process 3-4 days. Of course, the 8AM-12PM time frame SDG&E required makes it difficult for your company. The city forwarded the paperwork to SDG&E quickly and SDG&E approved the PTO quickly. So far, the process has been very good. I just need to see the panels work and produce enough energy for our uses but that will take a couple of months. I realize I new very little about solar energy. I am now anxious to see it work! Thank you very much. I have had the system over two months and has worked well, no electric bills from SDG&E. I will refer everyone to Mike.

Great Service

Mark Ivory of Semper Solaris is an outstanding representative and solar expert. He follows through on every aspect of the process and keeps you informed of progress and next steps. I was referred to Mark by some long time 40+ year friends who said he had helped them get solar installed on their house. Mark did a phenomenal job on my first house and my SDG&E bills evaporated! Throughout the time I owned the home any time the solar went off line (you can check how much energy you are generating with the great APP) or any question I had Semper Solaris was outstanding and quickly resolved the issue. They sent replacement parts to connect to the internet or came to my house to fix it at no cost, which is great service! They are a veteran owned company and I appreciate that since I am also a veteran, they take good care of the people who have served our country. I sold my old home and bought a new one. Despite my neighbor’s recommendations to use the company that did their home who just had solar installed, I called Mark and he came out and it is impressive to see the advances in technology in just a few short years and the great growth of Semper Solaris. I trust Mark, he is a professional, he follows up, answers emails and texts in a rapid manner and I know he will make sure I get the best possible service and solar system at a great price. He has become someone I can trust and I have recommended him to others who have also purchased solar through Mark and Semper Solaris. I purchased my new system from Mark and we are going through the process of approvals, permits, installation and eventually turn on and I know I can count on Mark to make it happen. I highly recommend you contact Mark and Semper Solaris for installation of solar on your house. With some of their new loan programs it is basically free, you can pay it off over time by replacing your SDG&E bill payment with a solar payment or just pay up front, whatever works best for you. Don’t wait get it done now and take advantage of it, take advantage of all of our SoCal sunshine, help the environment, eliminate your electric bill and enjoy it for the rest of your life in your wonderful home!

A study in teamwork

I had a great overall experience working with Semper Solaris. Being Veteran operated was a big bonus for me and the office is right down the street. After shopping for solar for quite some time I finally decided on Semper for both my roof and solar project. Genevieve was great to work with as she did a great job of explaining everything to me. She was always available to answer my questions when I called her. The guys did a great job on the roof and solar install. I'm happy to say that I'm producing plenty of power, more than expected!

Great Work

Recently finished our New roof and Solar system with Semper Solaris. After having a friend have his solar done by them we decided to get some quotes. Working with Mark Ivory we got a quote that was lower than the competition and the product offered was far better. Semper Solaris was even great at moving our install date on short notice to better fit our needs. The install was quick and professional and very clean. The roof install team led by Cesar Arenas was very helpful everyday they were onsite. I would totally recommend this company to friends who are looking to get solar.

I highly recommend this company. From the time Kurt Vangelisti came out to the house to the time my system was installed it was nothing but a pleasure dealing with this company. The install crew did a great job and kept things very clean around my house. I would definitely recommend this company.

Excellent service from day#1. Caesar came to the house, made an inspection, then sat down and explained everything about installation, warranty, and usage and cost. He was very professional and informative. Had a bit of a scheduling conflict for installation but eventually got that worked out. Very glad that i got solar and am pleased with the company. Caesar always got back to me right away whenever i called or emailed which i really appreciate.
