Email only, no telephone calls, to get warranty service. It took a month for someone to show up. Couldn’t fix it. When I called to make the follow up appointment, she berated me for not knowing my system better. It took a month for the next appointment. Now they are an hour late …

Sea Bright Solar is horrible. My project started March 2024 and the last 4th inspection was in September 2024 for installation. Battery could not be commissioned and they left the system not working. Everytime a different person was sent, they did not know what they were doing, would call the office and was told to just do this or that even if it was not up to code and they would change it later to pass or vice-versa. Now a year later, Sunstrong sent another company out to finally get my system to work and found so many errors. The worst was the live wire left in my SCE panel which thank goodness the tech had proper tools otherwise he would be dead. CT's were inverted, a shut off handle was installed wrong (off was on and on was off), a microinverter was bad, a rusted circuit breaker was used and had to be changed out, and a component on the battery was missing. This company should be shut down. Scary if other jobs were done the same: shady, low quality work and dangerous installation. I am glad I did not allow them to enter my property when last sent and waited for this other company who were professionals and knew how to get things done right. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, I fear you risk your home's safety. If I could give it no stars I would. Oh and they will blame whatever employee they fired and try to get around mistakes by saying that person no longer works with us when in fact the fault lies with their General manager-Darrel Miramontes and Manager-Mike Jimenez. This company should be investigated.

Sea Bright installed our 17 panel setup and few years ago and it went great. Just recently we decided to add more panels, and they were glad to help. One of the employees, Dirk, came out during the install to verify everything was going well. And of course it did, they always do a great job.

We have been extremely pleased and completely satisfied with our Sea Bright Solar experience. The entire team; sales, technicians, installers, and support staff are all excellent. Everyone is very professional and yet personal too, very experienced, helpful in answering all of our questions, and they maintained constant communication throughout the project to keep us fully informed. They created a solar design customized to our home and our energy objectives. They provide high quality panels, battery storage, and related system components all at competitive pricing. From start to finish, the whole process went smoothly and as planned. Sea Bright is a company that operates with honesty and integrity. We highly recommend them to anyone who is considering the move to solar.

Our solar installation was activated a few weeks ago. From the time our storage batteries became available, through total solar installation, city approval, and the power company’s approval to connect, these processes were completed in a quick 20 working days timeframe. Needless to say, my system started generating power on day one of the system turn up. I would like to thank everyone at Sea Bright Solar for a job well done and hope I have an opportunity to work with all of you again in the future. Your efforts are very much noticed and appreciated because they’re performed by hard working people who take pride in what they do.

Have just started the process, but salesmen (Richard) was very professional and allowed us to make a decision without making us feel pressured. He provided us with more information than other Solar companies have. So far I would recommend!

The worst experience ever. We signed the solar contract on 4/30/22 and it is currently the end of December 2023 and this project HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED. There have been delays every step of the way. The company has had a turnover of project managers. There is no accountability for getting the job done. They ignore our emails and phone calls and do not call back. The panels finally got installed in April 2023 a year after the contract was signed but failed the inspection. The problem was fixed and they were operational as of the end of August 2023. They were supposed to upgrade our electric panel and install a Tesla charger as part of the contract. They half did the electric panel and we can't get a hold of them again. We even filed a complaint with the California State Contractor's Board after which they started to respond but failed to respond again the state board closed the complaint. We are unable to get this project completed.

Solar system turned in early August. SLO county inspector indicated he would sign inspection documents but only after Seabright Solar representative told him they would fix dangling cable under one panel. They never did. I contacted company shortly after turning on the system and looking at MySolar app since it was showing my house power usage as twice as much as it has ever used. They said Seabright would contact me. They never did. I called the help phone line again in early September and they indicated Seabright would call. Seabright called and I tested them a screen shot of the MySolar app showing house using twice as much power and power being imported from PG&E. I also sent them screen shot of most recent PG&E bill showing 10 days of solar power indicating a net export to the utility grid whereas their app show import from the grid for same period of time. They said they thought CTs were hocked up incorrectly and they would send someone out. They never did. A couple of days ago, I was contacted by salesperson asking how things were going. I relayed my frustration and sent him latest PG&E bill showing solar panels were delivering power to grid instead of their app indicating power was being imported from grid. No response from them yet

It has been almost a year since I signed up for a new system install (September 2022). They have not been able to complete the permitting process, or provide an install date, an ETA, or even assign me a project manager that is willing/able to return calls or make more than a quarterly attempt to keep me in the loop (out of the 5 I have had assigned to our project so far). I was told in January of 2023 that the permits were submitted to and being reviewed by my local municipality. On July 13th 2023 I was told that the permits were submitted to and being reviewed by my local municipality. Today I received an eSign document from Sunpower asking me to sign a termination agreement, which I did not request, nor can anyone at Seabright explain why I received it. If they are cancelling the contract after keeping us hanging for almost 1 year, the loss of NEM 2.0 grandfathering is going to cost us a significant amount of money, if solar is even a viable choice at that point. I am still in shock at how completely nonexistent the customer service is with this company, given the amount of money involved. They simply do not care once your contract is signed.

After many months my panels are finally in operation. Firstly I really appreciate the support of the sales consultant Wade. I feel he is very professional, knowledgeable and responsive. There seemed to be some turnovers of project managers which may have contributed to the long time span for our project, but the current team members Kassy, Damaris and Ginny are quite helpful in getting us through the last few hurdles to get us running.

Sea Bright Solar explained everything to me in detail, and did every thing they said. They walked me thru the paperwork and reporting, so that I could get all the certificates. We definitely got our money back after 6 years!

Excellent technicians and extremely professional. Their work was professional and they took pride in their work habits and job performance. They were also pleasant to deal with and well mannered.

Excellent customer service bases on my experience. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and was able to help lock in a great deal with good rate and a small discount. So far so good, but will see how the installation process goes.

I have my SunPower system installed and up and running for a little over a month now. I contacted Sea Bright solar and talked to Chris Palmer around end of June 2022. Chris is an amazing guy specially coming after talking salesmen from three other solar companies I found out that he was different. No sales push, listened to my questions and answered all my questions professionally. He is the kind of guy you feel like you completely trust and he is. I signed the contract 06/28/2022 even though it was several thousand dollars over the competitors. I was told before signing the contract it would be 8 to 12 weeks before my system gets installed and I was good with that as from my research the standard timeline when it comes to installation of a solar is around 3 month. In between, communication from the office was barely there and even when you call or send e mail. I didn’t expect any update up until 3 month passed from the time the contract signed. But as we were going to past 4 month plus I felt like sailing in the dark. I was not even sure when it was going to be installed at all. Finally I had to escalate the matter due to lack of communication and Chris and Ginny Resman from their New Jersey office gets involved and help speed up the scheduling and subsequent installation. I would like to thank them both Chris and Ginny for that and their subsequent follow up. Now the actual team from Sea Bright who did the installation were amazing. It took them 7 days as there were rainy days in between to install the solar panels and upgrade my electrical panel. City of Redlands inspection was quick right after installation and it passed right away. Installation was done from 11/03/2022 to 11/10/2022. SCE gave the PTO just in under 2 days after the office submitted the paperwork. My system is running since 11/24/2022 and production is great even in the winter time. Unfortunately the monitoring system is showing only production- no consumption or grid export data. This is because the installation team forgot to install the consumption CTs/meter. I have reached out to Sea Bright Solar to install the CTs and I am waiting for them to schedule the installation. In addition to Chris and Ginny, I would like to thank Damaris,Kassy and Rose from the Redlands office as well. The reason for the 3 star is because of lack of communication and responsiveness between signing the contract and start of installation, the uninstalled Consumption meter I am waiting for and a panel layout not reflecting the modifications done in the actual installation. It is both aesthetically beautiful and very efficient system so far.

Several folks to thank for their talents and drive for results. Project Status is Waiting for City Sign-Off, which is why my some of my review is in the present tense. Wade - My design engineer has been awesome. Collaborating on the original design. Wade continues to help me understand as questions about my system and emerging regulations come up. Rose - My Project Manager continues to keep me posted on the project timeline. She makes herself available for my questions. She takes the initiative to reach out and follow up. I can only imagine the workload driven by the demand in California. The Red Team - Installed my system. Very neat looking job. These guys were courteous and always cleaned up after themselves. Protected my gutter using a gutter guard. Jason did a great job setting up the hub and battery. The new panel is neatly laid out and labeled.

This team worked seamlessly with the hand-offs during the various phases of the whole process. Communications were passed right down to the installation crew where it really mattered. Minor glitches were honestly and quickly addressed. City and utility company approvals came quicker than anticipated. The finished product was delivered as promised. I am totally convinced that I made the right decision going with Sea Bright and SunPower.

I thought I would have to clean up with some of the mess they would leave behind after installing but guess what? No mess! In fact, I think they actually clean up to leave home in a better state than when they did the install. Thank you!

When I was looking into getting solar for my family I did a lot of research. During my research I of course came across many horror stories, but SunPower had very good reviews, and I am pleased that exceed expectations! They have delivered with everything they promised, everyone I worked with had been extremely friendly and professional. So if you are like me and are readings reviews after reviews you can stop now and trust SunPower.

System Info: 15.725 kVDC / 14.395 kVAC 37 each SunPower SPR-M425 with IQ7 Total timeline from initial contact with SunPower to PTO from So Cal Edison - 5 months. The long pole in the tent was County approval of the plans. They had zero comments or corrections when they finally did approve the plans, but it took 10 weeks. As far as Sun Power is concerned, after doing a lot of research and interviewing all the potential vendors, I chose them. I liked the whole package, from the warranty to the efficiency to the aesthetics of the final product. They were not the cheapest, but I was able to negotiate a few thousand dollar final price, which got me within range of the others. I paid cash. As far as Sea Bright Solar (the installer), they were terrific. I am in the business of managing projects, so little hiccups in scheduling are very noticable to me, but Sea Bright, overall, was excellent. Their Project Manager was on top of it and her team knew their business and did it. The field crews were really good, communicative and efficient. They did struggle with a bit of punchlist work, but I understand that and don't fault them. Overall, Sea Bright is highly recommended by me. They are straight up with you, tell you what they are going to do and do it. Their work is excellent. I have no complaints. If all goes well, I will see the results in one year that says my SunPower panels are doing what I was told they will do.

Sun power by seabright was a smart decision for me. I shopped around over a year for the right panel , pricing and installer. Wade Bischoff was an excellent consultant taking the time to explain the various manufacturer solar panels options and even when i had questions about third party he was great . He was not pushy always open to give me information. The install crew was friendly and professional. They did a great job and have my strong recommendation.

Wade Bischoff and his team of support made a believer of us and the possibility of Solar. Great team, product, price, warranty, and service. On time installation, always current information, planned performance, careful execution. Marvelous coordination of all aspects of the work required. True professionals. What a pleasure.

We recently had solar installed at our house in Redlands by Sea Bright and were quite pleased with the company. Wade from sales spent many hours patiently explaining the system as well as answer all my questions. The price was more expensive than some other companies obviously because of the premium product, but I did check with another master dealer in the area and Sea Bright was able to beat their price by a lot. Also, they had the best price for installation of the Tesla Powerwall when compared to other non Sunpower and Sunpower companies. The installation went well although there were a few communication hiccups between various departments and people, but eventually everything was done to my satisfaction. They followed up to get me through the process of getting my rebates as well as promptly came back to fix a small leak as well as a to make an adjustment with the sub panel. I would recommend Sea Bright to anyone who needs solar / batteries and I have already sent a few people their way. Thanks!

The process was easy. Even though our HOA rejected the first design, the agents kept working towards obtaining an approval until it was approved. The approval took about 3-4 months and installation was about 2 days. I love how sleek our panels look and really love seeing how low our electricity bill is.

Everyone at Sea Bright Solar was professional, knowledgeable and patient with us. From the sales associate to the surveyor on our roof. From the crew that did the installation to the people in the office following up. They explained things well and did exactly what they said they would do. The installation crew was courteous, quiet and polite. They worked hard and didn’t seem to take breaks.

I was impressed with the professionalism from start to finish. From my first meeting with Chris I felt I was working with a company I could trust. I had already met with another company who promised me way too much production; Chris was honest and right on target with what I have found my production to be. The installers were quick and clean. I have loved my system; and have loved that it is working and producing just like Sea Bright said it would/should. You don’t have to worry that they will tell you what you want to hear and promise you things that they can’t come through with! If you are thinking of having a system installed, due yourself a favor and get a quote from Sea Bright Solar!

Purchased my home in Nov 2019, right away I knew I wanted to purchase Solar for my home, I did some research and found SunPower by Sea Bright Solar. Of all the companies I met with they were by far the most thorough and professional. They walked me through the entire process, kept me in the look of each step and answered all of my questions. Once we got my HOA and Edison's approval they quickly scheduled the installation, completed it in one day and got me authorization to operate within a few days. Even after installation they have continued to check in with me and ensure that the system is working as expected. Absolutely impressed by this company's quality and professionalism from my first call to ask for a quote through the installation, and now post installation. Highly recommend this company for your solar needs.

I choose Sea Bright Solar because they were local and handled SunPower panels. I only looked at one other highly rated company before making the choice. Mike Symmes came out and looked over our house. After signing the contract another person reviewed the work to be done and looked at the electrical panel and where the panels would be located. The installation was completed in an amazing 4-1/2 hours, inspected and signed off two days later. SCE approved for connection in another three days. All done within the same week! Couldn't be happier with the installation and with Sea Bright. They kept me informed well ahead of time and answered all of my questions. Would highly recommend them.

I researched solar panels and found that Sun Power was the best and then searched for a local installer and found Sea Bright Solar in Redlands. Could not have had a better experience, and the best part is, I got a check back for $49.12. I used to spend around $400 in the summer. Those days are long gone.

I know SunPower products are the best in the solar panel market, having been a customer since 2013. When I want to shop for solar panels for my second home, I know I would use SunPower panels again. The Sea Bright Solar staff are very friendly and professional. The whole purchase and installation process went smoothly and I am very happy with the new solar panels. I had a lot of trepidation about solar. There is so much information out there that it’s very confusing. From my research I knew that sunpower was top tier product so I expecting to pay a ridiculous premium for their panels. Wade Bischoff was the reason I went with sunpower by SeaBright. He was well prepared with his presentation, could answer many of the questions that I had about performance and reliability and delivered on an offer that I couldn’t refuse. The quote came back competitive with the other quotes that I received and with premium products. Plus I received a rebate! Everyone from the corporate office to the installers were easy to work with. Best advice I can give is to do your research. I basically took the time to learn about solar panels. You may have a great quote on the table but is the product and warranty going to withstand the years?

Sea Bright Solar is a Superior Solar Company. Their customer service is Second to None. I sat through 14 Solar Sales Pitches before Wade from Sea Bright came out. Wade is a honest, straight forth sales person. He gathers information and presents a very easy to follow sales prenstation. I have a lot of knowledge of Solar. I helped a friend build two 40 mega watt ground systems. All 14 previous sales people either didn’t know what they where talking about or just out right lied to me. Wade didn’t pressure me and it was an easy choice to go with Sea Bright. Their installation crew did a fantastic job and within 40 days I’m producing more energy then I’m using. I recommend Sea Bright Solar to all my friends and Family. Best choice I made, you will not regret it. My neighbor up the streets brags about his system, but mine produces almost twice as his.

my system was just installed a few weeks ago... i did my research before finding SunPower. So when I met with Wade, I felt we spoke the same language. He was able to clear up my few remaining questions and reinforce what i though i already knew.... the actual purchase and installation process was then pretty quick and easy. i was late in the calendar year and, for tax credits, i really wanted it done before 12-31. they stuck to the time frame and made it happen. during the weeks leading up to the install, called a few times to make sure i was on target. i'm not sure if my calls were necessary, but i wanted to understand the steps (loan, plan design, permit, install, inspection, activation, etc) before they happened. they were clear about what and when things would happen. i ended up on time and on budget. i'm yet to receive an electric bill so i don't know how everything will balance out, but i trust it will....

If you are going with SunPower Sea Bright is the best installer in town. Their price was competitive. Installation was on time and good quality. Their stuff was super nice and helped me with loan, HOA approval, city approval, electric company.

It took a little while to get everything manufactured and get the permits but all of that was communicated upfront. They didn't try to get me to go outside my comfort zone around cost or try to tell me that I needed more product just to make more money. When the site surveyors and installers came out, they were very polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves very well and the system is performing exactly as described during the sales process. No Surprises!

Wade was awesome all the way through the process. I love the fact that they are a one stop shop for everything from the sale to financing and always available for any questions concerns for the life of the system. Everything was installed in a timely manner and has been working as well as advertised since.

Sea Bright Solar installed our ground mounted SunPower solar system. We are pleased with the result. The workers were courteous, diligent, and knowledgeable. The installation was high quality and professional, with concrete footings and steel pipes that support the panels. Expect the process to take a little longer with a ground mounted system compared with a roof mounted system.

It has taken me a few years to finally decide to go Solar but I'm very happy that I finally did and even more happy that after investigating and meeting with several companies that I chose Sea Bright Solar. Michael Symmes was our salesman and he was great throughout the process. He answered all questions that I had , was available via phone, email, and text, and he didn't try to sell me other products like several other companies did when met with them ( that was very annoying ) . The installers were very courteous and professional and also willing to answer any questions that I had as they worked . The process took a little longer than estimated but that is to be expected in a major project like this and was not unreasonable . I HIGHLY recommend Sea Bright Solar .
