Amazing, professional and painless experience with Nova Solar
Nova Solar was our solar install pick because of the quick and professional answers to our questions. I communicated directly with technical people - there are no sales folks. Once we signed the contract, the process moved quickly and smoothly. We signed the contract on December 4th and install was February 28th. The paperwork was painless both for Nova Solar and all the paperwork for the local electric company, etc. Nova's project manager helped with all the required paperwork for grants, hookups, permits, etc. He made it so easy. The install was also painless and took only 4 hours. We liked that all the install workers were Nova Solar employees. They don't use subcontractors. They have an amazing install truck organized with all they might need. No delays, no issues. The employees are very professional and very nice to work with. If you ask questions, you quickly realize the breadth of their experience. After the install, our program manager provided us with all the paperwork we would need for grants and approval to connect to the local electric company. It was all very well organized and straightforward. We have been on solar now for over 3 full months and the performance of our system has been excellent! I very highly recommend Nova Solar. You will be amazed at how easy they make the process.

Still working great after 3 years
Jake and team installed a 10KW system on the south-facing portion of our roof, and 3 years in it continues to function flawlessly. the workmanship of all elements has been great, and we routinely get srec credits for carbon credits from the system, plus a major reduction in our energy bills since going operational. Can't recommend them enough.

Professional Solar Installers
Two weeks ago, we turned on our solar system installed by Nova Solar. On a partly cloudy day (rain in the morning, sunny afternoon with blue sky and some clouds), our solar system produced 44 kWh. When we got a perfect sunny day with blue sky and no clouds recently, our solar system recently produced 92.0 kWh based on the Enphase monitoring dashboard. Based on Nova Solar’s design of our solar system, 66.3 kWh of electricity is the projected daily generation for the month of April, so our solar is working as designed !! Jake, LB, Max, Trip, Julian, and Barklie are all very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Jake, our project manager, kept us informed throughout the process. He handled the paperwork and coordinated with county inspectors, utility company, and HOA. Nova Solar’s stay up to date with installation components and techniques to make the whole installation process efficient. Trip, Julian, and the installation team arrived early and finished installing our 34 panel solar system in 6 hours. Jake and the Nova Solar team provided a detailed write-up after the project was completed. Phenomenal Company
My experience with Nova Solar, from start to finish, was overwhelmingly positive. The entire staff was professional, courteous, and went out of their way to answer the questions I had. During the design phase they revised their proposal in response to my inputs without hesitation. They provided information on available systems and the pros and cons of each, made sound recommendations and explained why they made them, put together the system I wanted even if I decided against a particular recommendation. The installation crew/electricians were efficient and obviously well-trained, and explained what they were doing if I asked. They put together all the paperwork I needed to apply for tax credits and deductions at both the local and federal levels. They initiated the process and did most of the paperwork to enable me to sell SRECs. Throughout the entire process they were very responsive to my questions/requests. I highly recommend Nova Solar if you're looking to install solar in the Northern Virginia area.

Awesome!
Nova Solar did a great job for us. Our solar project went so smoothly. They are thorough and prompt on everything (appointments, county permits, etc.). They provide plenty of information and even FAQs. It only took one week after our final inspection for Dominion to change out our meter so we could turn on the system, which was unexpected but awesome.

Total satisfaction
For such a major long-term investment, we wanted a solar company who installs high quality equipment and provides reliable customer service afterwards. Nova Solar has been a champ in every respect. They answered all our questions, offered options, and adapted as our energy needs changed when we bought an electric car. The panels, installed on time, look great. We’re so grateful they took care of all the carport EV charger details for us. Given the variability of weather, we are satisfied with how our power production measures up to Nova Solar estimates. During the switch-over (it takes time for Dominion Power to complete the process) we had a ton of questions. Nova Solar always responded quickly, professionally, and with a good attitude. They even researched a question they couldn’t answer right away and got back to us with a satisfactory answer. In short, the result has been fantastic. Nova Solar has earned our trust and we’re very glad we chose them.

Go With Nova Solar
I spent a lot of time researching companies when we decided to go Solar. Nova came out on top in every category. Once we signed the contract they exceeded even those high expectations. They are very professional and communicate well. We knew exactly what was going on with our project at all time. Their turn around time from contract signing to final install was very fast. It was less than 5 weeks between our initial signing and install day. On install day, the team arrived right when they said they would, worked very efficiently, and the system was installed and tested before the end of the day. I would pick Nova Solar over any other company.
