I'm not in Texas, I'm in Arizona. I used Momentum to get my solar panels installed etc. It took a little while for the entire process to be completed. However, I have had the solar panels for a year now. At one point there was a malfunction. I was alerted right away and Momentum also called me to let me know and told me someone would be out to fix the issue. It handled in a matter of days. There is a notable difference in my electric bill. However, you need to know the rules in Arizona in order to get the most out of your solar. I'm very please with Momentum Solar.

Not a single regret

I really Have nothing negative to say. Everything from start to finish was a great experience. Even when i was having issues with the power company or trouble logging in to the portal or anything else, Leila was there every step of the way and more than helpful. She made the entire experience great. The panel's look great on the roof and they are producing a little more energy than we use so it is perfect.

New home - Had solar installed again

We just moved recently to Land O Lakes Florida from Long Island, NY Having enjoyed the benefits of a solar powered house on Long Island, we decided to do the same here.

Awesome to work with - start to finish!

From the sales presentation to the final installation everything was communicated thoroughly and the follow through was excellent. The install looks great - better than any in the neighborhood. The interface with the utility company and the electrical contractor was flawless. Great solar company to go with for anyone wanting to save money on electricity and "go green!"

These guys are great. professional installation and I am now seeing my electric bill down to under 20 dollars a month.

Best choice for me

I deliberately chose to move to an HoA that allowed solar. I've researched solar companies for over 10 years, first for a condo association, then for my own home. Momentum was the best fit for me and i have not been disappointed!

Complete joke of a company

Took almost 9 months and over 10 visits by install teams. Most visits were unannounced and the installers were expected to work miracles. It was after months of fighting and passing of the buck that the system was finally installed and operational. They claim the install completion is just getting the panels on the roof. They do not have to be hooked up or functioning for them to collect from the finance company. They will do the minimum they can to collect their money and then run. I would not recommend this company to ISIS let alone a neighbor. Please be cautious when doing business with this company.

Smooth Process

Was referred to the company by a friend and started the process which was a blessing, sales rep Jason Reyes gave me all the info I needed and before I knew it installation was scheduled, momentum kept me updated with the process and design, also thru the momentum app. Installation went smoothly and the crew worked very safe, fast and clean. Overall I recommend momentum solar company and I’m very happy with the production the panels are producing.

Best decision we made, financially and environmentally

I'm very happy with the solar panels installed on my roof by Momentum Solar. Thus far, and after two years, they are working flawlessly. My electrical bills are insignificant. Three months this winter I didn't have to pay for electricity, actually I got money back from the utility company. As the hot summer of central Texas approaches, I feel zero anxiety about summer electricity bills. I'm happy to know that my bills will remain constant for the 20-year duration of the financing, while in the meantime the cost of electricity will continue to grow (it has increased 7% so far this year in central Texas).

Our Momentum solar installation

Our solar was installed over two years ago by Momentum. We have 42 panels on our west-facing roof and have not had a single electric bill since it was installed. We have had zero problems with our solar installation since it was installed. Our panels provide over 130% of our homes' electric use, including charging our electric car. We are with Reliant on their Reliant Solar Payback 12 plan. Our excess solar power goes back to the grid and has always been enough to pay our electric bills. It does not matter what the season is, our solar panels have consistently produced more power than our home uses. We are delighted with our Momentum solar installation.

Money Saver

I got $5 electricity bill from PSE&G since installation! This is the best home improvement project ever done. Thanks to Momentum! The project manager Mike he is always there to help and guide us through the entire process.

Good company

So far, everything is working well, and we're enjoying the negative electricity bills! We hope to build up a credit balance to see us through the summer when AC use is high. Momentum has been very responsive to our occasional service requests, and seems to be a good company to work with.

Amazing service and pricing!!!! I had a few solar companies come out and try selling me no name panels and at double to cost! Momentum was able to get the solar panels I wanted and helped build a system that works!!! Bye bye electric bill and hello savings!

Solar vs Gas and the Grid

I switched to solar in october, installed a mini-split system for heat and cooling, which works off of electricity and my winter costs dropped from $850/month to $140/month. With the longer Spring/Summer days, that figure will drop considerably and carry over into to the next winter season. I love solar. Unsure of the panel brand.

Momentum Solar - Best Customer Service Experience Ever!

Momentum Solar installed our solar panels three (3) years ago. They handled the entire process for us from analyzing solar panel placement on our roof to maximize performance, permitting, installation, inspections and activation. Their Team was so courteous, always let me know when they would be arriving, what they would be doing and cleaning up at the end of the job. And now, even with an electric pool pump operating 24-7, my FPL bill this month was only $15.47!!! I love this!!! I highly recommend Momentum Solar.

As Promised

Overall, very good. I was one of the original ground mount customers and Momentum speced the system and installed it soup to nuts at the quoted price. I doubted the salesman's ROI estimates, but that too was accurate. Installed August 2016 the system had paid for itself in full by early 2021. I consider it the best home investment I have ever made. As of now, I have practically no electric bill ($4.95 for line usage) and it generates roughly $3,500 a year in SREC sales. If I have a complaint, it is the inverters used as they have a high failure rate and while they are covered by warranty, the older the system gets, the longer it takes to replace the failed inverters.

The Momentum installation crew showed up early in the morning and worked steadily through the day to complete our panel re-installation. They are a bunch of friendly and very hard workers. All went well, except for one panel's inverter not reporting. It turned out to be a bad cable harness that was diagnosed and fixed by a couple of Momentum electricians within a week of the re-installation. We are very happy to be part of the Momentum Solar family.

Thrilled with our Solar Panels!

Very happy with everyone we worked with in getting our solar panels installed. It was so exciting to see that first electric bill with the only charge being the electric service charge. Looking forward to harnessing the sun’s energy this summer to avoid those high bills that would normally come in that time of year. The only thing we’re still waiting for is getting consumption meters installed. Wish that came standard. We didn’t know consumption meters were available until after the system was installed. That should be an option upfront.

A Great Experience

Our system went "Live" on 3 Feb 2022. So far we've done quite well. Feb & Mar energy bills were $0 for electricity, with a considerable amount "banked.". We're starting to operate our AC a bit now, so we'll see. I teamed up a SENSE monitor, and the results of these two systems has been superb. I can tell when electricity is going to each device in our home and whether the electric is coming from the city grid or from the solar panels. It's been a real treat. I always know exacty how much energy the panels are producing, and it's in real time. In fact I'd highly recommend that Momentum install the SENSE device in every home on which you install solar. What a great bonus it would be for customers - something beyond your excellent service to distinguish you from the myriad other solar companies out there. Talk about a business moat!
