Momentum Solar

Does not deliver!

I paid $15,000 to generate clean energy and reduce my electric bills. Last bill was $170! This is for an 1800 sq. ft. house, one person, no air-conditioning month in Florida. I sent my bills to Momentum in October, they were verified as received, but I have heard not a word since then, despite my follow-up email and phone messages. Something is wrong here, and the Customer Service and Billing departments are part of it.

Good company

Very happy with Momentum Solar. Only thing I was disappointed in was I wanted to add more panels and after I understood they wanted my whole bill, I sent them the last 12 months worth but I never received any information on what they thought I should add. Waited several weeks. But I did have an equipment issue and it was taken care of pretty quickly after I notified them I had a problem. Would use again though

We love saving money and trees too. Happy to be saving every month. No problems at all so far, this is the first winter.

Momentum helped me achieve my goal.

Momentum helped me accomplish that goal, and I see the proof every time I get an update on home much solar energy we are producing. Sean and his crew arrived on time and immediately got to work installing our solar panels. They worked non-stop and efficiently, even cleaning up the entire work area when finished. Not only were they good workers, but they were nice guys too. Job well done!

From the first representative who visited me through each of the groups that came to do their part of the installation from the roof panels to the electricians who joined me to the grid, I have nothing but praise for their efficiency and expertise in each of their fields. Their work was made difficult because they were working during the first phase of the Pandemic. I can't heap more praise on the MOMENTUM installation process.

Great for solar system installation!

Momentum was correct in the amount of saving we could receive. Thus far, we are not spending any more per month than we did simply paying FPL. The installation process was quick and extremely well done. I had to get a new roof before the solar panels could be installed and Momentum did an excellent job in finding a great roofing company for me. My new roof and solar panels are very nicely installed! The only reason I cannot give Momentum 5 stars is due to the lack of response from the Roofing division. I have been asking for documentation on the roof cost/installation for insurance purposes since March 2020 with no response. This lack of response is going to cost me several thousand dollars since I cannot get full insurance reimbursement without this. So in all, great company for solar and roof replacement if needed! The corporate Roofing Department leaves a lot to be desired.

Would have been 5 stars BUT

I would have given you 5 stars but I couldn’t. The installation was fine. Unfortunately no one came back to fix the inside house where they needed to cut through the walls to add the electrical. I also noticed where they penetrated the exterior wall it wasn’t chalk closed. These are over sites in my opinion.

Great investment

I am pleased with all the money I have saved so far by going solar. The installation process was simple and they guided you on each step. I only wish I could actually use the credit towards payment.

Great Installation Crew

I had the pleasure of using Momentum Solar as my solar electric power company as well as my battery backup in case of an outage. The installers at Momentum Solar are professional, ethical and friendly. It's important to have a company that hires people who enjoy what they do and who they work for and these installers go above and beyond. My only concern is the communication between sales, permitting and project management. The communication between the three departments must be better in order for the customer to be 100% satisfied and provide referrals.

Great technicians, needs better support

The installation crew was amazing. Came on time, finished the job very quickly and professional. The customer service could be better, as I had to call multiple times to follow up with the system activation and energizing. In addition, to this day I haven't received project documentation.

I have to say this was one of the best experiences I had with a vendor around home improvement. I have been researching going solar for almost 2 years before I decided to go with Momentum.
