Do not work with this company.

We unfortunately got caught up in the solar panels, they were at our house talking with my husband while our two 1 year olds ran around. He did NOT make it clear there would be a cancellation fee if we decided not to move forward. They say they have my husband on video confirming about the cancellation fee, I’m sure they do. But do they also have all of the noise background from the children screaming? I could barely hear the computer I know he could barely hear it too. The sales man brushed it off, I’m sure because they want people to get stuck with the solar panels. We spoke with the manager, Jacob in the Resolution department for cancellation. He was very unhelpful and rude. I was also rude because no one wants to get stuck with something they don’t want and have to pay to get out of it. Make sure if you let this company come into your home, you pay attention to every detail. Don’t deal with this company. I regret letting them into our home.

Overall Experience

The experience from beginning to end exceeded our expectation. The team has been extremely professional and delivered every item within our solar system. Our service from the NV ION team was awesome! Met every commitment, collaborated with the sales team, installation team and admin personal. Simply awesome! I would recommend ION to my friends and family! Thanks again ION Team!

Amazing Service

Noe was an excellent person to deal with, the whole ION Solar team customer service is the reason that I decided to go with them and not another solar company. ION will give you updates every step of the way as well so you’re not lost and wondering what the progress is! Definitely recommend them for anybody looking for Solar Panels!

Ion Solar

Everyone at Ion has been very professional and kept me informed in every process. I did have a lot of doubt because I am on a fixed income. Chase Wright- explained how everything worked. Even a few days later I was still facing doubt and my neighbor had a bunch of questions his friend came up with. Then it started messing with my head but Chase answered all the questions and my concerns were put to rest. Everyone has been understanding too with my dog and letting me put her outside or inside depending on where they need to work. At this point the panels are up and we are waiting for final inspections.

Solar Panels made easy

Sean Peterson was a great help and very knowledgeable. The whole experience so far has been very easy for me. Ion is exceptional at communicating and does all the work. I get updates. Every one has been very kind. Even the installers and the electrician have been very respectful and clean. No mess. No evidence there were ever here. Except for the solar panels in the roof. I recommend Ion!

Brandon was very helpful and always there we needed answers.

should change their customer service

today my system is not working all lights are flashing red I call and their answer is oh just wait it may clear up really so I have to go a day not producing and hope it clears up other words oh crap this one is still under warranty we can't make money it may be a delay really it reported 6 hrs ago and nothing since obviously something is not right but lets not look into it right it might cost us money. this solar company seems like in my opinion does not stand up to their commitments or warranties lets hope it fixes itself instead of hey let us go look at it and see if there is a problem no lets go get the next unfortunate soul have them sign a contract and then we will ghost them. nice way to do business

My experience was awesome with them. Roberto was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. He responded to all my questions. Never made me feel like they were dumb questions. The installation was done in a timely manner

Great experience from start to finish. Joe Pickens is the man to ask for! He guided me through the entire process. As an electrician and electrical engineer I am able to assess the quality of the installation. It was top notch. I will be recommending Joe and ION to anyone and everyone.

Just wanted to share that I had a great overall experience from start to completion of the process. Everyone involved has been as kind and as professional as possible. They have solid references in Las Vegas and stand behind their value proposition

Absolute nightmare

The panels were constantly going offline with no help from the service department. Two years into having them installed we discovered the installation damaged our roof causing a massive leak and they took weeks to respond. Filing a lawsuit shortly.

The future looks bright with ION!

Working with ION was a pleasure. They made the process of getting solar panels easy and understandable. They walked us through each step of the process from design to installation, answering all of our questions along the way. They even worked with our HOA and township in order to fill out all of the proper forms and ensure that we got the proper approvals. They communicated with us frequently to provide updates, even if the update was that they are still waiting to hear back from the city about permits. They were honest and upfront about the whole process and what it would take to get solar installed. We couldn't be happier with the results.

Helpful and Organized

Danail was our sales rep and he was wonderful, very respectful of our time. He helped us get what we wanted and needed and was knowledgeable about the current laws in Nevada. Ion as a company has been very organized and quick to move once agreements were signed. Great experience so far with this company.

Very good company to work with

We started working with IO couple of months ago and they took care of every aspect of design and permits process. Highly recommend this company.

Excellent service after the Install.

Had system install 1.5yrs ago. Just recently suffered a fire at my residence and ION is still providing exceptional service. With the assistance of Candice Dougherty (my sales rep) discovered there's a program to assist with my panel removal and storage if needed. Thanks Candice for being there every step of the way. 10 months and nothing to show

We spoke with Chad the Salesman for ION Solar in April of 2024. We told him our house faces the wrong direction for Solar (the roof slopes face East and West), so every solar company we talk with wants to double the number of panels. This makes no sense so we plan on installing kickers on the South face that panels could be installed on. Chad also knew we wanted batteries and recommended we wait until after installation to put them in. Chad talked with the design team and we worked with them to install the panels sideways to put 10 panels on the south facing kickers and 5 panels on the East facing roof. Many months pass and then the Design team submits for permit with all the panels on the roof! We get the issue resolved but now there are only 7 panels on the kickers and 8 on the roof and the Design team says "nothing can be done" (despite the kickers being designed for 10 panels by a structural engineer) and being installed. It took four months to get the permit at which point we asked if we should start getting the process rolling on the batteries since this was taking so long. Doug with the design team says we should have mentioned the batteries earlier as now they have to go back in for permit (we told him we did and were told by Chad to wait!). Finally after 10 months Doug informs us that ION solar will no longer install on the kickers and they canceled the project. What a complete waste of our time. The only positive aspect was that ION Solar refunded all our money.

Ion has been great from start to finish. All questions answered and John Cervantes was the best sales agent.

White Glove Service and real humans

Sean and the team at Ion were incredibly helpful, human, and pleasant throughout the entire experience. From sales, billing, to the installation team - it was nothing but professionalism and expertise. I highly recommend this team! We barely had to lift a finger to get our system installed - they handled everything with ease and were always there to answer questions or provide support.

Warranty issues

You install a system that will take 20 years to pay for and you warrant it for a very short period compared to how long it is supposed to last. the equipment you installed warranty last longer than your commitment to keeping it running. i think if the equipment stands behind its part I believe you should stand behind your installation as well, after all you put the stuff in and I'd like to think you know how long it will last or is that the case and why your warranty is so limited.

My experience with ION Solar has been amazing. I feel like I was able to understand and get an all the information up front, everything is honestly correct. I was able to make an informed decision. The paperwork process went very smoothly, and the installation was very fast and efficient.

1st time owning a solar

We are a first tim homeowner, so its our first time having a solar. All i can say is all the ION SOLAR employee/associate was really helpful!! From the sales person brandon to every detail that we need! They all explain whats happening , whats the process and steps! They are really involved wt anh questiom you have! We just got ours installed! Waiting for it to turn on!! ❤️❤️
