Everything from the consultation to the Installation went smoothly. They know what they are doing!

Ion Solar, maybe a little too green...

Sales rep was top notch and very helpful, looked out for us to get the best system and sale possible. Survey guy, very quiet introverted personality, not a person of many words. Installation crew, lead person was knowledgeable and professional, overall team got the job done, however they did not exude confidence and did have to make two trips. Electrician was a nice guy, his line work was on point with boxes and conduit, but his finishing touches were mediocre. Project Manager, seems disconnected, distracted, or overwhelmed follow ups were made, but he also did not exude confidence when answering questions and in some instances being up to speed on system installation status...

Ion Solar has provided a wonderful experience

Ion Solar has provided a wonderful experience for installing solar on our home. It does take awhile with city approvals and Xcel Energy installation as well. Please just understand this going in. Our project manager Cole has been efficient and the text messaging updates are nice. I am looking forward to seeing how well the system meets the needs of providing a fossil fuel alternative. Bruce

Fantastic Experience

The process was lengthy, but the project manager, Casey Ybarra, kept us informed on a regular basis as to the progress of the install. Nice product and professional installation. Highly recommend to any other consumer thinking about going solar.

Experience with Ion Solar was very easy and smooth. Everything went exactly as they explained. Everything was installed without any problem and now it is working just fine. Project manager Oveth Tostado was great and updated explained all the process. Great company!

I have 0 complaints! Everyone has been so informative and helpful! The customer service has exceeded all expectations. Every single person we've had the pleasure of talking to or meeting has been so kind and fun. The panels look so good on our roof and we're just 2 steps away from going live! I HIGHLY recommend Ion Solar! And I recommend asking for Zach Nagy & Adam Simmons!

They Don't Honor What They Promise

The final proposal sent to me included an incentive of $2,432, which was not included in the loan and I have never received from Ion. They are now telling me they can not honor the agreement. Look else where.

Lightning fast communication and install

Ion was the first company to give me an upfront price to build a system that met my needs. They have put together a fabulous system, I can't wait to switch on.

The presentation by the original contact was very well presented, the explanation of the cost and possible savings was outstanding. After I signed the contract the project manager has been in constant contact keeping us informed of every step, the installation team worked through adverse weather to get the system installed. Excellent Communication

Our salesman felt nothing like a salesman. He was fantastic! Tyler Daniels was clear, professional, and helped us feel confident in our decision to go Solar. From the very beginning, their communication went above and beyond. They kept us in the loop from beginning to end and gave us easy methods to ask questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Ion Solar was great from start to finish

Cole with Ion Solar of ABQ was great through the whole installation process. He kept us informed of everything going on even when things out of his control delayed the install. He and his crew completed the install of the panels in one day and they made everything look great. Thanks guys

I had often thought about going solar for some time but was hesitant to take the leap. A very persistent Jordan Henning made repeated visits until I was able to meet him based on my work schedule, he was great. He answered every question I threw at him and convinced me, showing me the location of my house, how much energy the solar panels would absorb and showed me the savings I would have compared to what I was currently paying my utility company. It was a real eye opener when he said, “Why should you pay to rent electricity? Why not own it?” Which if you think of it made sense. I own my home and would never lease a vehicle. He made sure I knew everything down to the smallest detail before any final decisions were made. There were many incentives that I qualified for which was also great. The friendliness of the staff and efficiency of the company has me informing co-workers and family members. Installation went smoothly and they were very professional. I had someone to answer questions every step of the way. ION so has been the best and very reliable. If you're debating it, don't wait any longer! I would highly recommend ION Solar if you are considering Solar for your home. Thank you ION Solar!

Best Business Transaction Ever!

ION Solar provides a quality product using a business model that allows the customer to sit back and relax while ION handles all installation, scheduling, permitting and financing. I have never experienced such service in my entire adult life (I'm over 60). All representatives I dealt with were proactive, pleasant and professional. If I wanted to start a business and needed advice on streamlined processes and customer service, ION Solar would be my first stop. Mike H.

wish I never signed

I was holding back on the review because I Love my sales person. But Ion Solar has this review coming. We signed since October 2019. It is now almost the mid January of 2020. Our solar system is final install but not running because they failed inspection! But the problem didn’t start there. It took me forever for someone to reach out to us. I have reach out many time to my project manager. Let start with the house inspection. Their representatives who came into our home and had to crawl into our attic had to go through my kids closet. I’m not going to go into detail but the closet was left in a messed. Then after the inspection 2 weeks goes by nothing! I am reaching out via email. Signed since October. I feel like I have to be the one pushing them to put solar on my panel. If I did not love my sales rep who did a great job at his job. I would totally stop the project. Finally installation. It was fast 1 day everything done. Team was nice Friendly. Not problem. Failed inspection! Now I’m reaching out to them for a date and still nothing! No date nothing! We were promised some inventive light energy light bulbs whatever! They sent us the wrong light bulb. Ion solar can’t do anything right and I am highly u satisfied with how they handle our transaction after the contract signing. I have been emailing them for month about them having my phone number wrong on my profile and is still wrong even today, yes I checked. Now we have over $30000.00 of solar panel on our house that isn’t running, a payment that is due in March on a product we never used.

Just had my panels installed today. By far one of the most professional installation teams I’ve ever met. They paid close attention to detail to ensure the jump was done right.

The Smart switch with ION Solar

We had talked about going solar for some time but were hesitant to take the leap. After a close colleague made the switch and gave her review we knew it was time. The process started great and our ION rep Dax made sure we knew everything down to the smallest details before any final decisions were made. The friendliness of the staff and efficiency of the company has us praising ION solar to all our friends and family. Now it is up to them to make the Smart Switch.

Going Solar was amazing!

Ion Solar was a great Company! From the Beginning Michael the rep was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about going Solar. We interviewed 4 different Solar Companies and my Husband and I felt that Ion Solar was the way to go! Our Case Manager was always there for us, every step of the way (Even late at night when we thought of questions)! I am very happy with our Solar panels and will definitely will be letting our friends and family go with Ion Solar. This Company is nothing but the BEST, RELIABLE, REPUTABLE AND JUST WONDERFUL PEOPLE to work with! I am so happy we decided to go Solar. If you're debating it, don't wait any longer!

Great Solar Company

I did a lot of research when deciding which Solar company I was going to call to talk to us about going solar. I decided on ION solar. It was a very pleasing experience from the start with the sales presentation to completion of the system install. The project manager Michael Seppen and my sales rep Adrew Curley kept us inform every step of they way and attend to all our needs and questions. The installation crew was very professional and took great care during the install process. All together it took three months from sales presentation to fully operational system. I am happy with the work and hope that the solar system will hold up to its promise of producing clean energy and greatly reducing our energy bill or eliminating it all together.
