ION Solar

Excellent Solar Panel company. Great Sales reps & presentation

I was impressed by the presentation and the rep. that explained all about the Solar Panels and the company guarantees and warranties. Communication was a plus throughout the whole process. I recommended them to other friends and family that also installed panels with ION Solar. Brenda Dimas

High Marks for Ion

I would have bailed on this project long ago, but Ion kept securing permits and fighting off the power company. Outstanding installation too!

ion solar review

after having two prior sales pitches for solar, ion had the best options and the best price. installation went smooth and as planned. an overall easy transition to solar.

Friendly and professional staff

We liked the sales person and the sleek look of the black panels.

Great Deal!

I was offered a great deal, Ion Solar removed the stress of acquiring permits and did everything for me, ill be saving money and using cleaner energy!

Professional and Fast

Tyler and the rest of the team at ION did a fantastic job with our solar system

The installation was very good.

The ball was dropped when Ion -Solar did not inform me that my electrical panel was out dated. That they could not get two breakers needed for my installation. The installation crew was very good explained what was being done, and how things worked. Bob Archer the electrician was a pro. I would recommend him to anyone.

amazing and professional

the consultant Richard Egger explain step by step the process an it was really amazing how fast everything happen and if I ever have a question he is there to assist. I am glad I got ION solar. I recommend to anyone.

The process was easy.

The process was easy and no money up front. Many incentives and incidentally it required me to clean out my garage which needed to be done for years. I am very pleased.

Happy Under the Sun

So happy to have a solar installed on my house and with the electricity I've already been producing it was a great decision. The process with Ion Solar was very smooth and everyone at Ion was super helpful guiding me through the installation process. However, I'm knocking one star off (for now) as there could have been one extra step to double check with HOA approval before scheduling install date but that is both on me and Ion. If HOA was double checked as a needed step then this was easily a 5 star experience.

Wonderful

Ion as been a pleasure working with. Everything has been taken care of with little need for me to do anything. I really like the app that they have so I can monitor the progress of my system every step of the way. Sarah R.

Very professional installation and turnon

They performed all the interface to the city. The installation went well and it turned on without a hitch. They provide a monitoring app with their enphase so I can see what the system it doing.

Super experience!!! Couldn't have been easier!

When I 1st heard about ION, someone visited my home which I typically consider a nuisance but I was already intrigued by going solar, they (a gentleman named Justin...sorry I do not know his last name...and Tyler Phillips) were extremely knowledgeable and you could tell ION cared enough to give them top notch education regarding Solar energy as well as their company. They were happy in their job with strong company values. I did my Solar research and found ION to be top notch and as impressive as they said within their industry so I chose them. My sales representative Eric Feldman was fabulous and also very knowledgeable, the entire team at ION stayed on top of my job consistently, I received emails and text messages keeping me posted on each step and even in between waiting periods they kept updating me on where we were at with permits, preparations, installation, electrician, and electric company approvals their permits. It really was an easy streamlined experience and I am up and running fabulously!

Everyone was very professional from beginning to end.

Everyone was very professional from beginning to end.

ION Solar

The ION Team was very knowledgeable of the my installed system and was very considerate to explaining what I was about to encounter with ION. The installation was a good group of guys who knew there stuff and ensured the system was properly installed and running efficiently from start to finish. Good Stuff!!

A Solid Choice for Solar

I have to say I have added solar to two houses. The first experience was not great, the process was lengthy, and required a lot of work on your part to get the plans through the HOA etc. The quality of the equipment also seemed to lack quality and the installation was not visually appealing with the electric conduit running all over the roof. I also learned if you do not put critter guard around your panel’s pigeons love to roost underneath – that was not mentioned at sale of course. My experience with ION has been the opposite. Straight forward contract, quality equipment, interior conduits, some decent perks, very fast easy process, and critter guard included. They have also been around more than a night or two – a 20+ year warranty does not mean anything if the company is not around then. I good choice to look at if you are planning for solar

A great company with a great staff!

Ion reps were professional and courteous each time they came to our home. The only hic cup was waiting for city inspectors.

So far the best in Colorado!

We made the decision as we wanted to invest in solar and very quickly realized there is a lot of information we did not know and had no experience with. The company that rose to the top in our evaluation was Ion Solar, a recommendation from xCel Energy. As we have decided and would like to move forward with ion Solar, luckily on the same week; the sales person Taylor knocked our door and asked our interest. From there on, everything was a very smooth process and now my system is on and running successfully. As we moved through the process, Ion Solar was communicative, professional and provided us every bit of information we needed. We are grateful to Ion Solars is our solar partner. No hype, no pressure just a great education and delivery on what they said they would do. I would personally recommend Ion Solar.

My system was just turned on and I don't have any concern.

The salesperson was very informative.

Buyer Beware

2/25/2021 Buyer Beware! I purchased solar for my 2-story home in the spring of 2017, The company was called Vision at that time. If you are considering solar, make sure you are aware of hidden costs that the salesperson will not give you. These include the need to clean solar panels professionally as pollen sticks to them like glue and the hardest rainstorm won't clean them. ($300.00 - $500.00) Also, make sure the installer leaves at least a 4 foot perimeter around the panels, otherwise if you need to install a critter guard ($1000.00 - $1500.00) to keep out squirrel or bird nests, you won't be able to without paying to have the panels moved yourself. Workers have to be able to navigate around the panels. My installer placed my panels only a few inches from the edge and Ion has refused to move them. They claim they have no installers in my area anymore. So much for customer service. How can they claim to have a 25 year warranty on the panels if they aren't in the area? You also may need to consider installing a special lightening rod to protect the panels in the event of a lightening strike. ($3500.00). I'm 63 years old and definitely have buyer's remorse. I should have left well enough alone. I'll never recoup these costs from my electric bill savings. Kathy W.

Easy with good customer service

When looking for a solar company to work with, we ultimately felt Ion was the best. Ion wasn't necessarily the cheapest - but very close to it - but their response and clarity in answering my questions made the difference. Currently the panels are installed, and awaiting final work from the utility company before they are turned on, but Ion has been in contact with me and kept me up to date on the status and needs of the installation. I like that I have a local representative that I can reach out to with questions or concerns. Additionally, the app is user-friendly and simple. Would recommend to anyone exploring the option to have solar installed on their home.

Inefficient, poor communication, 3mth paying&still not operating

If I had the time I would write a very lengthy detailed review . I am very unhappy and regretful of sign a contract with ION. Terrible experience and I am not fully operational yet! Going on my 4th month of paying 2 bills one my full electric bill and the other ION . I continue to have to make a “ticket” and wait 1-2 weeks each time to get someone out here just to leave and not complete the task. It’s Stressful, it’s a headach. After everything at this point I don’t believe or trust anything ION has to say or offer, I feel since they are already taking my money they don’t care to make things right! I will never recommend this company.

Ion Solar was great to work with. Great staff to work with.

Great price and great service.

Great install well done job

Very happy with the crew that was lead by AJ that did my installation system is working very well

Wow! Just wow!

Not only are they fast and friendly, but they were super honest about everything (nothing hidden) and easy to work with for each step of the process. They were attentive and careful. Very respectful of our property. They were able to answer all of my questions with ease. We HIGHLY recommend ION!
