Amazing from start to finish!

From the first person to the last, everyone was very nice, informative, polite and professional. These solar panels are such a great deal and the process was so smooth. There are also amazing incentives in addition to the panels and saving money by using them. I am 100% pleased and so happy I switched to solar!!

ION did it all. From the original explanation, to the roof inspection, to the solar panels, to the city, electric company and all the other inspirations. Kept us informed every step of the way. When I had questions, they were always ready with an answer. Thank you ION for all of your hard work

Reasonably priced and hassle free solar solution

My experience with Ion Solar has been nothing but positive so far. The sales person I am dealing with (Jessica Gilden) is very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. All applications and permits were submitted by Ion with little to no involvement by me. The installation of the panels and equipment was installed as scheduled, despite rain during the last part of the installation. The installers were all very polite and cleaned up after themselves. The city inspection was completed yesterday so I am currently waiting on the power company to come change my meter (final step). I look forward to having my panels up and running in a week or so.

Excellent!

Presentation was clear and precise, both pros and cons. Installation crew was great - on time, courteous, friendly, explained what they would accomplish, then went right to work, hardly knew they were there. On completion of work the clean up was excellent, followed by a walk through of the complete installation explaining the purpose and operation of each component. Following the walk through time was taken to ensure I understood the next few steps necessary before the system could be placed in service. Excellent service!!!!!

Professional and efficient

Very happy with our choice to use ION, we had a LOT of questions going into the project and Seth answered all of them. They have communicated every step of the way. I would definitely recommend them.

Seamless process

From initial visit to installation everything went seamlessly. We are eagerly waiting on inspection then we can flip the switch to savings! Chose ION because I liked the clean look of their installation, no ugly conduit all over my house.

Smooth as Butter!

Just finished the install, haven't had the panels inspected and turned on yet, but I have to say, These guys were AMAZING! Polite, patient, knowledgeable... the list goes on. My experience has been smooth as butter thus far. No doubt in my mind that this was the best choice for our home and future. If/when I buy a new house, ION is definitely who I'm calling.

ION Solar - a Great Company to work with.

The ION team have been great to work with. Their knowledge of solar is great and they provided me with answers to all my questions. It was interesting that their install team had the same help-the-customer attitude as the sales person and I have received updates throughout the entire process. This has been a great experience.

Why didn't we do this sooner?

We avoided solar salesmen for years because we didn't want to get pushed into something we'd regret. No regrets with ION Solar! They answered all of our (many) questions and walked us through what to expect at every step of installation, permitting, and activation. The ION service people were always on-time to scheduled appointments (no 'between the hours of 8am and 2pm' garbage) and very polite. They even vacuumed the inside of the house after getting in the attic and making a little mess with the insulation. I'm very pleased with how we are making energy now and I love watching our production on the ION App on my phone.

Professional and smooth

Ion Solar did great!

Mitch Gresalfi is the Ion Solar local field salesman. He took the time to carefully explain the status of solar power technology now in 2020, and explained the pursuit of excellence that Ion Solar exemplifies in its products and service. We decided to do it, and throughout the whole process they communicated with us and kept us informed as to progress along the grand scheme of doing a solar installation. We appreciate the efforts they made (1) to ensure that our roof had adequate structural integrity (and it needed a structural member repair), (2) to process the inspection requirements with the City of Virginia Beach, and (3) to notify Dominion Energy that they could come and install a new electric meter that would recognize the new solar power contribution to our home. Additionally, the Ion Solar team that did the actual physical installation were quite professional and courteous. To close the circle on my/our comments: All throughout the stages of the Ion Solar installation, Mitch Gresalfi was always quite accessible and kind to answer a few questions along the way.
