I wish every contractor was as efficient, knowledgable and competent as Impact Solar. Every detail from the timeliness of their initial response to the quality of the work, the price and overall convenience was perfect in every way. No complaints. Highly recommend. I needed repairs but my system is older and I know who I'll be calling when I'm ready to replace my current system. This is how it should be done, period.

I contacted about 5 New Jersey solar installers for a price of a solar roof. Impact Solar was the cream of the crop. The solar equipment they use is Tier 1 and top notch. Their sales process was extremely informative and no hassle. Their price is extremely competitive. The owner came out to my house to measure my roof and he was extremely knowledgeable of the solar industry, both on the local and federal level. Made me feel comfortable with this large purchase and I am confident that the install will be as seamless as the initial purchase. I WOULD HIGHLY recommend this company for all of your solar needs!!!

I had been kicking around the idea of solar for a while and then I walked by a solar sales guy at my local Costco. Got a quote and it ended there. The price was astronomical. plus, I needed a new roof. 8 months goes by time to do the roof no choice now. walked by a different sales guy in Costco same company, slightly better quote but still may make sense. So, I started doing more research. I called 9 different companies and spoke to 9 sales guys. Only one that didn’t sound like they were selling me was Jeff over at Impact Solar. In fact, Impact was recommended by the roofer. I almost had a done deal with another company who was decent and gave me some good things to think about. Also helped that their price for better equipment was WAY less than that Costco company (we all know the one). But after speaking with Jeff and him going into more detail and answering every stupid question I had and giving me even more info about things I didn’t think about I decided to take the next step. Jeff scheduled a site visit (had 4 others done already). Rob showed up, Rob is the owner and walked me through everything during the site visit. He also did things others didn’t. He measured the sun and shading showed me what it looks like, talked me through what he thought would work best and how to go about it. I was amazed at all the little things no one ever bothered to explain that I wouldn’t think to ask. I called back others to ask questions and started getting the feeling that they were fed up with me not moving forward and asking again to explain certain things. That was a big turn off for me. I spoke some more to Jeff asking the same questions and digging deeper. Jeff was always professional always happy to explain and always got an answer for me on technical stuff if he didn’t know. So finally, I felt like I was making the right choice after multiple equipment choices back and forth. I got the QCell Qtron 425 and the Iq8M inverters which I felt was the best combination for what I wanted to achieve. We worked out the final price and I was happy where I was. (Impact happened to also have the best price) They also had a very good payment process and what I mean is that you make 3 payments. 10% down at contract signing (which by the way is 4 or 5 pages not 50) contract is also written in plain language and Jeff worked with me to make some changes so I would be happy with it. 60% due at install (that’s when the panels are on the roof and tested) and the final 30% is due once you get the approval to operate. This keeps the contractor honest and interested to get you to the finish line so they can get paid. Rob told me he wants the customer to feel like the company has skin in the game and something to lose if they don’t finish. Thats amazing in my opinion and keeps them honest. Once I signed the contract and made my initial down payment it was a matter of just waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Did I mention waiting. But not for Impact they got right to work. I had the pleasure of dealing with Michelle who was just as amazing as Jeff. She walked me through the steps we needed to take. First, they sent me paperwork for my Utility application and paperwork for the NJ Application and paperwork for my permits with the township. I spent time waiting for the paperwork to get processed but not for Impact. Every time something moved forward and they can action another step I was contacted within 1 day so they can keep it moving. They also coordinated with the roofers and most importantly they scheduled the roof and solar install in a way that they can run wiring while the roof was up and open so as to hide as much as possible. Once I got all the Oks and the Permits and the approvals in place things moved fast. Roofers were out within a week and Impact was on site to do their piece while the roof was wide open. Rob and team showed up and got right to work. Not only that but because I lost power several weeks before due to a storm, I had impact also run a generator plug for me. Let me tell you they did an amazing job. And the box was installed as if it always belonged there. All the wiring is hidden nothing running across the roof or down the side of the house everything is tucked away or in the rafters. I don’t know how they did it but its is Super Clean. After that they were out for 2 more days to finish the panel install. Rob walked me through the next steps, showed me how everything is supposed to work. Tested the panels and was on his way. (I left the panels on, and watching the old meter spin backwards is very nice). Michelle immediately scheduled all the inspections at the earliest possible date so we can finish everything and I just had to wait for the township to show up and issue approvals. Michelle was on site for the inspections to make sure it goes smoothly. We hit a small snag, but a quick photo that day got everything approved. Next day I picked up the certificate of approval so as not to wait for snail mail and Michelle efficient as always immediately got part 2 of all the applications moving with the Utility and the State and a week later, I was approved to operate. 2 days later they swapped me for a smart meter and here we are a month after. Of course, nothing is perfect and we did have an issue. The new Enphase gateway monitoring clamps were defective. Sean who was behind the scenes almost immediately got one of the techs out here to figure it out and fix the problem. They said the new clamps were good but sometimes they fail and the consumption is not reading correctly. They swapped the clamps and now several weeks later the issue is gone and hasn’t been seen since. While this is a bit of an annoyance to both me and Impact the fault is not with the company at all and the fix was very quick once we saw it happen. However, that was just a wrong reading on consumption. The system was still working properly and the Utility was getting the right date, the Enphase app that I see was getting the wrong date. Not the end of the world and it was fixed quickly. Now I am just waiting for the State which I was warned will take several months to get my SREC number so I can sell the SRECs. Impact and the whole team is amazing, they were thorough, honest, professional and answered all my questions no matter how many times I asked. And when you are buying Solar which cost thousands upon thousands you need to ask questions and be satisfied with the answers. You aren’t buying a phone or a toaster you can replace in a year. This is a 25-year investment. And for me it is a great investment. So far, the daily production on a nice sunny day is above what was expected, on a partially cloudy day, it is what I expected from a sunny day. And when it rains, well I get some production but its raining and no sun out. If this keeps up, I believe I will hit my target numbers for the year. Especially since I have an East facing roof and not a South facing roof. The system price does not include the 30% federal tax credit or any of the SREC I expect 35 Q-Cell QTron 425w Panels iQ8m microinverters expected to get 15+ MW/yr.

Impact Solar recently finished a solar array installation for my home. I highly recommend them. The whole process was seamless from initial quote to finished install. Jeff, Rob, and Sam were all communicative and professional. Prices are very reasonable and they do not utilize pushy sales tactics that I witnessed with some other solar companies. They did an awesome job with the installation and made sure that the wires were run cleanly with minimal impact to the façade of the house. Definitely give them a call!

I did an extensive amount of research into solar before making the jump, and I was impressed with every step of the way with Impact Solar. The communication was excellent before, during, and after each step of the process. The quote/estimate was straight forward and every one of my meticulous questions was addressed promptly. The install crew was very professional, knocked out the install in no time, and the fit/finish/attention to detail of the little stuff was great. When I was in market to get a solar system on my house, I received almost ten quotes from companies as far as Florida. Every one quoted different sizes and different prices. It was confusing. As an engineer myself I calculated the price per KW installed for each contractor. Next, I decided to calculate the correct size of the system and I narrowed down two contractors who quoted the correct size based on my annual usage. Impact Solar was one of the two contractors, who quoted the correct size. Based on the price and correct size I decided to go with Impact Solar LLC. During the proposal stage Jeff of impact Solar was very helpful in providing the information I needed to evaluate the proposal. Next Rob came to my house to do the site survey. Based on my discussion with him I decided to install a new roof and cut some trees. Impact Solar recommended a roofer and tree contractor. They had no problem when I told them I want to use my roofer and tree guy. After, the installation was complete I worked with Sam. He handled getting the installation approved by the township, utility company and getting NJ certification. He also helped me in opening and account with the state and TREC administrator. Everyone, Jeff, Rob and Sam are professional, polite and helpful. I will be glad to recommend Impact Solar LLC to my family and friends.

Throughout the process they were constantly keeping me updated of progress and potential wait times. Dealt with Jeff (Sales) at the beginning when we started researching on solar companies. Jeff made this whole process fun, simple and easy from exploring with us the concept of solar panels to helping us understand the entire process from start to finish. Met Rob, the owner later on and between the two, really gave us comfort and assurance that the job will be done well. Introduced us to a nice roofing company as well since our roof was almost at the point where a replacement is needed before we start the solar project. Sam, Dir of Operations is also another great person who helped managed the overall project from start to finish and very pleasant to work with. In my 2 year quest to get solar on my home, and after 3 separate consultations from the big solar companies in this area, I ended up choosing Impact Solar. Rob and Sam are the brothers who own this company and were great to work with every step of the way. They even designed a system that could be expanded in the future at my request to account for more electric vehicles. We ran into some snags with COVID starting to lock things down while my install was set to start, but they worked with local and state authorities to make sure the job could get completed and I was still eligible for the program that I signed up for. Our path to was lead to Impact Solar when two of the homes in our neighborhood said they used them. They were not one of the pushy solar companies that had been seeking out our business. After doing my own research, I found that not only did Impact Solar priced their system very competitively, they were also very knowledgeable about the various aspects of solar. I spoke to Jonathan MacQueen during the initial process, then met Rob Warren for the site survey and the installation. I have flatter roof which other installers did not have good solution for, but Rob was able to come up with a design to maximize production while balancing cost for my system. They were very professional and courteous during the process and I thank the team for travelling 2 hours each way from south Jersey to north Jersey on multiple days for the project. After the installation, Rob's brother, Sam, guided me through the rest of the process for registering the system with utilities and setting up account for SREC. It's been almost a year and I am very happy with the system. Highly recommended.

Rob Warren, owner of Impact Solar, offers great service, professionalism, and patience. I had lots of questions about how the finances would work, and Rob explained everything to me (more than once). Rob offers some financial incentives that I appreciated and even found us a great rate on financing. Sam Warren, Rob's brother, handled all of the paperwork in a way that was extremely convenient for me. Both Rob and Sam did the installation together, which gave me the piece of mind that everything was being done right. I found one error in calculating my previous year's electrical usage in the beginning stages of the project, and Rob corrected it immediately. I recommend using Rob and Sam for your new solar system.

When we contacted a few contractors about getting a solar system Rob responded immediately. We planned to go through the PSEG solar program so maybe the other contractor didn't want to be bothered. Rob came over and sat down with us to answer any questions. We had looked into solar before and we knew we definitely didn't want a lease. Impact Solar didn't even have a lease option so that was good. Rob clearly explained a couple different options and we choose what was best for us. The PSEG program puts an extra layer of complexity because you must qualify through PSEG. Rob and Sam worked with me every step of the way and always responded right away. That seems to be rare these days. Once I was approved the system was installed in 2 days by Rob, Sam and another person. Everything looks so nice and neat. They have made the whole process very easy. There was even a math mistake on one of the loans and instead of redoing the paperwork, Impact Solar covered the difference since they said it was their mistake. Both Rob and Sam are very knowledgeable and great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Sam and Rob were just simple honest guys to work with throughout the process. Never pressured or made me feel uncomfortable. They addressed every question and provided all necessary information that allowed me to make my own decision that was best for me.

Our experience from start to finish with Impact Solar was excellent. The company was referred to us by our son, who manages a major solar supply operation in another state, as a small company but one that is dedicated to providing high quality equipment with attention to detail during the installation process. That is exactly what we got. From our first contact with Jonathan, who started the contract process, to working with Rob, the owner (and evidently the lead technician!) and his brother Sam, the operations manager, it all came together in a very clean and, quite honestly, attractive solar array. The finished product is just that - finished, with all cabling routed out of site, including installing the inverter in the garage. We could not be more pleased with the quality equipment they recommended and the fit and finish of the work performed.

Exceptional experience! After evaluating home solar panel systems for many years, we finally decided to go for it, with absolutely no regrets. Impact Solar provided extreme value, delivered products and services as promised. Rob and Sam were extremely responsive and patient with our concerns resulting in a project with no complications. Let's start at the beginning. I had roughly a dozen solar companies come out to quote my project. What made impact stand out from the rest was the fact Rob who is a owner came out for consultation and said he would be on the roof during install. He explained everything to me as it would be on my project(other companies sent salesmen who were just pushing to sign a contract and didn't really know there product) he went over everything including jumping up to measure roof going in attic to check supports e.t.c. he went over last 12 months of electric and came up with needing 69 panels. When we decided to pull the trigger and get the project started I reached back out to impact. from the everything happened very fast and smoothly. Panels and hardware were delivered Rob and his crew came out and had them installed faster then I thought. They handled everything with township to getting set up in the srec market. Sam came out for the inspection it passed on first time and we are off making power. If you ate in the market for solar these are the guys you ate gonna want to talk to. From doing all my research and meeting with a dozen companies they where the most upfront knowledgeable honest and most important not pushing to get you to sign a contract on the spot.

From the start we knew we would be using Impact Solar when they arrived at our home they were prepared with everything from price quotes to designs of our system and even at install time they even tweaked the design of the install to make equipment location spot on perfect and very convenient, everything was clean and just perfect and all employees were very pleasant. I would recommend impact solar to everyone, our experience was excellent and bonus of getting 3 electric bills paid for by impact as well during installation is always a plus, we started off with a prorated electric bill of 88 dollars the following month after install and after that just down to 8 dollars, its a win win with Impact Solar best decision i have made was by going with Impact Solar and going Solar in general.

The quality of workmanship, the professional interactions and their "do what they say they're going to do" approach are refreshing and appreciated characteristics when working with them. No forced sales. Answered every question. Made themselves available every step of the way. I couldn't be more pleased with their work and their approach. Everyone on the team made me feel like part of their family instead of just another project to get done. We are very pleased with our solar system - it looks good and is operating just as they said it would. No complaints and no problems with the solar system. I would do business with them over and over again and highly recommend them.

We decided to go solar during the summer of 2017 after we got a few hefty electric bills. we had about 6 or 7 companies come over to give us quotes for an installation. Some of them where focused on leasing, which we didn't want. About 4 companies said buying was the best option and I must say that after all the visits, Impact came out on top. They gave me the best quote and the largest system. Everything that was promised, including delivery dates and in service dates, where met, We now have our system running for about 6 months and have about a credit of 3000KWh with Atlantic city electric. Our electric bill is about $5.00 a month. The price we paid for the panels is comparable to what we paid in electric bill, but keep in mind that we get to sell our Srecs for the next 10 years also. And by that time the panels will be all paid off. Solar is the way to go and Impact is the company that gets it done the right way.

If you are thinking about Solar Panels, I have two suggestions for you. 1. Do it!!! Your wallet will thank you! 2. Have Impact Solar install them. Rob and Sam made the process extremely seamless. It was the easier best experience of my life. My solar panels were installed within just a few weeks and I never had a problem. The best part is I have no electric bill, In fact because and sell my SRecs monthly I have extra money each month, I was so worried about the time and effort I would have to spend. I can't say enough about Solar Impact, they are very professional, trustworthy and extremely responsive. They did what was best for me, I felt like I came first. No hidden agendas with this company!

I had 5 companies come to my home and my wife and I decided to go with Impact for a few reasons. First thing we really liked is the salesman, he was straight forward and was clear when explaining the process. Buying solar has been a little confusing but Impact broke everything down for my wife and I. The second was the price and value. We purchased a 17KW system and they also put a new roof on my home. Third was the install process, they were the only company to go over the install process with my wife and I. They run the conduit wiring thru my attic so it was hidden and away from the elements. We’ve seen a couple of homes that looked terrible with gray tubes all over the roof. They hid the conduit wiring and it looks a lot neater. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience with Impact Solar from the sales to completion of the job. They were professional, courteous, and went out of their way to work at my convenience. Any issues were resolved quickly. The inspectors even commented that is was the best job they had ever seen. They walked me through everything and kept on top of it all to make it a seamless transition from the power company.

My purchase contract came with 25 years "bumper to bumper" warranty on all parts of the system, with guaranteed yearly system output, and 5 years of solar panel cleaning included. I also know of, and have read about many folks negotiating with home buyers (regarding the sale of a home that has owned panels) where the new buyer takes over the solar loan, and receives the SREC's, while also paying the seller more for the house because of the solar system. Of course this is not guaranteed, but I've heard it done more often than not. I did research on the solar systems and companies for 2 years before I pulled the trigger. Anyone who is considering buying their own solar system, please at least have Impact Solar LLC. come out and give you a quote for you to compare with any other companies. These guys were used a zero pressure sales approach, have competitive pricing, use a specialized solar loan company, and were just downright nice people. Tag a business

I took a lot of time finding the right company to install solar and I am so glad I went with Impact solar, they did everything that they said and the results have been great, they installed a 62 panel system on my house. I have not had an electric bill since one month after it was installed. all I pay is $5.00 a month for a paperwork charge to keep my account open I own the system They showed me how owning the system was more to my need then to lease I reap all of the rewards Every day I build surplus power to fall back on plus the SREC pay for most of the loan. The system has been floorless since it was turned on the system was Installed neatly not like some of these other systems look with panels this way and that way they monitor the system and helped me setup my SREC account this was an OUTSTANDING JOB done buy the BEST company. I Would tell everyone to go with Impact Solar.

We talked to a lot of solar companies in our search for solar contractors and options. We never though ownership was an option due to the high cost the last time we looked at solar. Dan impressed us with the option to own our solar equipment. He worked with us to ensure we had the right finance company with the options, equipment, warranties, and services that made sense for us. Trust me it was not an easy sale for Dan and Impact but they stuck with us through 2 months of questions, phone calls a text messages. I was please to also hear how they worked hand in hand with their roofing company JC Wagner to ensure we the best possible materials and installation of our solar mounts ensuring leaks were something we would never need to worry about. Once the project started we had a new roof, tree removal, and were making our own power in 2 weeks. Sam and Rob ensured the roofers, tree guys, inspections, and cutover from our old power company were completed in a flash. Sam then got us setup to start logging our power generation with PJM and showed us how to sell our SRECs on the market. All in all a great experience with a great company, an awesome product, and the best service. Ask my neighbor...Rob and his team were on their roof last week installing their new solar system too.

When I started looking into going solar, I learned you definitely have plenty of options in NJ for the company to go with.
