This company was great to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone. The solar they sell is all U.S.A. made. They start out by walking you thru every aspect of the installation,before hand and stay with you till the very end. I went with a ground mount system,a total of 12 panels. The difference with our electric bill,before installation and after is astounding! Before the electric bill averaged about 135 to 180 dollars. Since the solar system has been in operation,my bill averages between 15.00,in summer and 30.00 in winter.

my electric bill is no where near as low as indicated during the sales meetings. i was dissapointed that my bills in the beginning were just as much as i had without solar. they have come down but now they are about 1/2 as much as my original bills.

Hard working service and service is working hard.

The installers were very conscientious and accommodating. Our electrical had some issues and they stayed late into the night to get things up and running on multiple days. It was truly appreciated to have such service and professionalism. The office staff worked hard with the permits and paperwork with SCE. Glad they know their stuff to get our solar put up on our roof. The system is working perfectly and we just paid our last electric bill! Thank you Green Solar!

The process does take time, not because of the solar people, but because of local permits, and the existing power company. The installation crew were fast and courteous. The did however leave some installation debris in the yard. Not much mind you, but some.

Couldn't Be Happier

We're thrilled with our solar panels. So far, our electric bill hasn't been more than the minimum fee to have an account with the electric utility provider--no paying for electric usage, so they nailed it when they calculated how many panels we need. Everything has been smooth and painless.

Panels producing a fraction of the energy than promised

Green Solar Technology analyzed our electricity usage and came up with a proposal for roof panels that would produce about 70-80% of our total electricity needs. So far we have had the panels up and running for 2 1/2 months and they are producing about 20% of our total usage. We spent $28,000 on this installation and now have very little to show for it. We are hugely disappointed and feel like the company lied to us to get our business. Such a huge discrepancy is unacceptable. I have reached out to the company to see if there is any kind of mistake or error with installation. If they can rectify the situation, I will update my review.

My best idea yet!

I have wanted a solar PV system for 10 years or more. I finally decided to do it, and I could not have been more pleased with the ENTIRE process! Green Solar Technologies took the time to configure my system, and make sure I had the correct output! Everything was presented logically, and explained in detail. The price made sense for me, since I will save over my electric bill from day 1. The staff were great, the installer was exceptional, and the entire process was as easy as could possibly be. With tax incentives, and great financing, now is the time. This is the company to use!

Thank you Green Solar Technology. After I lost my home in a wildfire and move to my Into my new home my insurance company finely agreed to replace my solar system that was lost in the fire. They had requirements I had to meet. They gave me three months to complete my solar project, if not they would only pay 50% the other 50% would be deprecation for not meeting the time frames. Green Solar Technology not only meet the time frames, but did a very clean looking installation. I was able to get the documents to the insurance company on time and received full reimbursement. I am now making solar power and I am a happy costumer, a gain thanks to all of the team at Green Solar Technology for a job well done Thanks R. Pool

I am very satisfied with the whole process from my initial contact, site evaluation, financing options and installation. I could not have had a better experience. Initially, I was a little apprehensive given the large investment with a new company, but so far I cannot be happier with the process of purchasing and installation. All those connected with Green solar were always available to answer my questions. They checked in with me on a regular basis and responded to any questions I had quickly.

Finalizing

All went well during the process of agreeing to buy and getting approved. Although it was not green solar doing the work. If not for self reliance energy who actually did the install explaining all processes and helping with paper work it would not have been pretty. Panels are not to be installed until approval from electric company. I was called by green solar saying they had approval. When in fact they did not. My panels are installed but unusable because electric still has not given approval. This causes me to make payments on panels on top of a electric bill. Which was not suppose to happen.our solar panels were supposed to replace or electric not add extra. I have tried customer service several times over the only thing I get is answering machine. I leave messages but they will not cal back

I expected to have an electric bill of about $20 per month as I was told during the sales pitch. My electric bill started low but keeps increasing every month. It is not as high as it was when I was running electric alone but with the monthly cost of the panels and the electric company bill I am not saving any money

When you spend over $50,000 you want to be cautious. It took some time but know I am very comfortable. I especially want to tell you that Gus has done everything to get me set up. He is diligent and that’s a quality that is hard to find. I also would like to commend the installers ( name slips my mind). I understand that Green Solar has recently terminated business with them. Although I don’t know the particulars ,I believe that this may prove to be a bad decision because they were great to work with.

The entire process from pre-delivery of materials to the final walk through and step by step operational instructions, given by the crew lead, can be summed up in three words; Professional, Knowledgeable, and Friendly. I was greeted early every morning and briefed on the day's planned schedule. At the end of the of the work day I again was briefed on what was accomplished and the plan for dealing with any situations the crew had encountered during the day. It was truly refreshing to have a work crew that did not require the homeowner to spend hours keeping an eye on them. They were a well-oiled machine and finished before the deadline I had been given.
