My wife and I are very happy with our experience with Future Energy Savers. They didn't try to hard sell us or press us for something we didn't want. They also move incredibly fast, from the time we signed to the final installation of the panels it was a told of one week. Our power bill is way down and we couldn't be happier.

Great work

The team arrived ahead of schedule and were done a lot sooner than I had even thought possible. When everything was installed I received instructions on the electrical panels that were installed and could right away that I was reversing my electricity use. At the final inspection, I had a few questions that were answered. Since installation I have not had to pay for electricity. I appreciate that the panels are discreet and less noticeable than most of the solar panels I see on other homes.

Great Company and USA based panels

Dale from Future Energy Savers laid out the systems in an easily explainable manner. He also confirmed the panels were made in the USA (Oregon) . We had looked at many systems prior to meeting Dale and they were all made by a Chinese company even though their advertising stated made in Malaysia the main factory was Chinese. Also the warranties were more limited than Dales' company. Future energy savers has been in business a long time in our area of Northern California and we expect them to still be in business for a good while longer. The installation crew and everyone, we had contacts with were very professional. The installation of our 5kw system took about half a day. PG&E took a bit longer than two weeks to enable the system in our billing.

Very Happy Solar Customers!

This was not a hard pressure sell, we had other solar companies approach us and then walk away because we have a metal roof on our home. Future Energy Savers were professional, efficient, effective and they guarantee everything. They have superb customer service for questions. We called them and they came out when we were trying to make sure changes we were making to our electric system in our house wouldn't interfere with the solar panel system. They made it very easy to make the switch! The installation was easy. We were not given panels we couldn't use or pay for - we have a system that fits our need as a family. The installation team came in the morning when they said they would, and they finished up in one day. No fuss, no mess, and no clean-up left behind. The installers also were very helpful when connecting our system to our wi-fi system for monitoring the solar panel system. It is guaranteed for the duration we own the house. We couldn't be happier.

Our New Solar System

We are new Future Energy Solar customers and we couldn't be happier. The process was simple, efficient and very effective in saving us money on our electric bill. The process was very simple and it was wonderful to know that the solar panels were made here in the US. They protect and guarantee the system from parts to labor for the whole of our 20 years with the system. They have come to our house twice when asked because we were having trouble with our electric system in our home and we did not want it to conflict with the solar panel system. They are a direct contact company! We had other solar providers ask about providing solar and they were leasing companies and could not put their solar panels on our metal roof. Future Solar can put their panels on our metal roof, any roof even. They did not give us a huge system that we would grow into - they provided a system that fits our needs with the idea that if we were to need more panels, we could get them later. They are always willing to answer questions and have been extremely helpful, positive and wonderful about customer service. You will not regret doing business with them and we wish all businesses would follow their model. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Future Energy Solar!!!

Estimates are free, worth looking into as rates rise

Found Future Energy at the county fair, and estimates are free so we gave them a try. Kevin came to the house for the sales estimate. Next, Jesus (engineer and project manager) came to physically verify the estimate provided (no google earth). Our house was built in 1924 but has been remodeled with a new roof and upgraded electrical service, which made it an excellent candidate for solar. We should be "hands free" for the next 20-30 years. The city and utility approval process take the longest, be patient.

Solar panels Installation

My experience with Future Energy Savers was positive. Dale came for the initial consultation, he was very informative and I could tell that he liked what he does. He spent a lot of time answering my questions and was honest when I asked him about other companies. The installation went well. The guys installing the system were very knowledgeable and didn’t mind taking time to explain each step they were doing and why it had to be done that way. The company handled all the paperwork very efficiently. Every time I called the office, I was treated like I was a very important person and they bent over backwards to connect me with the right person to answer any questions that I had. Overall, I was very pleased with the system I purchased. Did I pay more than if I had gone with another company? Probably not, but I like the fact that they are family- owned company that has been doing solar for long time, uses American made solar panels and doesn’t use subcontractors for their work, including the roof work. Those factors were very important to me. We got the ball rolling really fast, solar panels were installed very quickly. The system was working the same day. This was super exciting moment for us. So, literally our system was installed and our house hold running on solar power in 16 days. Afterward the City and P&GE had to do their inspections (of course they aren’t as fast) but we had everything complete and our final meeting with Future energy within 3 weeks We have a monitoring system to see our production and consumption, which we can compare to PGE online so it’s great, we feel in control and can avoid any surprises!!! The final meeting was with Cody, who continued to provide excellent service and documentation of their install for future reference.

Excellant product and installation

My husband and I went to the State Fair in July not expecting to buy a solar energy system but Future Energy made it easy and worthwhile for us to do so. They were not pushy, although our research did show that some of the information we were given (current and future SMUD rates especially) was not completely accurate and made it appear that our benefits could be greater than they will be. Once we did our research and made the decision to purchase a system the process went very smoothly. We were not able to get as large a system as we needed due to our roof and shade issues but they were able to optimize one to make it work for us. The permit was obtained quickly and the work was started and completed within less than two weeks. We were glad to know they do not use subcontractors and each employee we met was polite and explained all we needed to know, including thorough instructions on how the monitoring system works. We love having access to the Solar Edge monitoring system and knowing exactly how much energy we are producing. Based on our energy production, energy use and cost of our system we don’t know when we will break even, and it may be quite a few years. However, we are happy with our system and the expectation is that each month we will pay less than our bill normally would be and that as electricity costs go up, our bill will not go up as much.

Quality and professionalism

Our experience with Future Energy Savers was exceptional. They were able to create a solar plan that fit our needs, arrange financing and install the system all in one week! Every employee we worked with was friendly and patiently explained each step of the process. They even helped us move a large shelf in the garage to make room for the panel. We are very happy with the quality of the workmanship and especially like that the panels are barely visible on the roof. We would recommend using Future Energy Savers for your solar needs.

Happy about making the switch!

In addition to the savings I feel great about making my house more sustainble and friendly to the earth! I've also grown pretty addicted to the apps with which I can track my home's solar output and if you sign up you probably will too! Future Energy Savers have been just a phone call away throughout the entire process; I recommend them to anyone trying to improve the value and efficiency of their home!

Future Energy Savers

My father went with future energy savers, and I saw how smooth and quick the process was to be setup with solar, so I decided to go the same route. I could not have had a better experience, from the time I sat down and was explained the process and what kind of system I would require, to signing paperwork and the techs coming out and installing, it was a breeze. I even had a inverter go bad and all it took was a quick call and a few days later it was replaced. I would recommend future energy savers if you are in the market for solar.

Great Experience Overall

I really did want to give 5 stars in this review, but one minor nit that may or may not bother others prevents me from doing so. First, the positives- from the original knock on the door to the installation, the process was painless and everyone at FES I interacted with was polite and professional. From first visit on my doorstep to system installation took only one week. The installation itself was done in ~8 hours- pretty amazing considering all that has to be done. Why not 5 stars? Well... part of what sold me on this system was the salesman's pitch about power optimized panels and being able to monitor the per-panel output of the system. This was a sell-up feature vs. cheaper panels. When I activated online monitoring for my new system, I could only see total output, not the per-panel output. I looked into this and found online owner's manuals that do support read-only access to all diagnostics of the system. I called the manufacture of the system and they confirmed the capability and offered to walk FES through how to enable this. I then called the FES office about this, they referred me to the person doing the final install inspection, who in turn told me that they do not enable the additional diagnostics. I bought this system outright and feel like I should have full access to its capabilities. Further, since I do not have low level insights into the health of the system, I asked what conditions are being monitored and trip an alert on their side. I wasn't given anything specific to that end- meaning I just have to trust that things are working and issues are being looked for. This isn't very reassuring, especially given the cost of the purchase and the fact that a) the salesman was either misinformed about or miscommunicated system functionality, b) the manufacturer confirmed additional monitoring details in a read-only manner are available, c) FES was unwilling to work with me on this Something like the above may not matter to others, but it does to me, hence the 4 star review. I need to stress that everything else about the sales process, installation, and functionality of the system merits 5 stars, so if you aren't looking at power optimized panels or prefer to treat the system as a black box and never look at it after installation, then FES is a great choice.

Solar Installation

They are a great company. Knowledgeable and helpful sales and design of system. Excellent communication during installation and connection to the grid. All questions were completely answered, all permits and inspections completed as promptly as possible, and final power up was completed over the phone. The entire process was flawless.

Quick installation

Quick installation! No surprises, first comparison bill from PG&E made us smile! So glad to be able to keep our house temp at 78, now able to do laundry at noon instead of after 9 pm. Hey we were playing by all the rules and were just not comfortable until we went with solar. Recommend Future Energy Savers to everyone!

Finally, Solar!

Well, we finally pulled the trigger on solar, and we are very glad we did! Even as the very professional installers were busy with the system installation, our power company (a huge company out here near the PACIFIC, for both GAS and ELECTRIC) was rolling out significant tier increases. It's hard to imagine how good it feels knowing that a big portion of the money I used to pay to them is now going to pay off my own little personal power system! One of the primary reasons we didn't get solar long ago was due to our confusion over the process. How big a system do we need? How efficient will it be? How long will it take? We met with several local solar companies, and never really felt comfortable. Well, right from the beginning, Future Energy Savers made us feel comfortable. From the salesman to the installation to the follow-up visit, it was plain talk and following through with what they told us they would do. The sales people gave us straight answers, the installers were on time and completed the project in one day, and the paperwork was way less stressful than it could have been. Start to finish, right around three weeks! Best of all, we've already seen significant reductions in our energy use. Yay! Finally, we have solar!

Dropping the Ball

Future Energy Savers has a great product I just gotten it waiting for my first official bill from SCE on Solar but it taken us so far 71/2 weeks to get the PTO from SCE cause FES drop the ball on submitting the Net Energy App. to SCE so I'm with a high Light Bill and it's no problem but mines. Oh yeah I paid them for there sytem so why would they be concern about me. Product is good the processors of FES need to be considered . Maybe cause I live and Texas and my property is in Rialto, Ca.So what concern is it to them

My experience with Future Energy Savers was perfect. My first contact with this company was with the young man that came to my door, he was very nice and accommodating when setting up my appointment with the salesmen. From that moment on everything person I talked to was wonderful and professional. Now two months later I've gotten my first bill with solar and I have saved a lot. I'm so excited to have solar and many thanks to all the people at Future that helped me get here

Gone Solar

We had been thinking about looking into getting Solar Panels for our new home, but had not had the time to make any calls. Then we heard a knock on the door and were introduced to Robert. We scheduled an appointment to meet with him the following week. He was very informative and was able to answer all of our questions, even ones we did not know we had. After reviewing everything, we decided to go ahead and invest in the new age of power. The application process was easy and quick. On installation day, the crew showed up on time and worked diligently to complete the process. With the number of panels we had installed, 22, it did take them two days to complete. But let me tell you, when they were done, you could not even tell that there had been workers there. They cleaned up very well after themselves and left NO mess. We just received our first bill from SCE, once the Net Metering was completely set up, and it was only $13 and change. This was during an extreme heat wave and we had had our air conditioner running 24/7. So glad we made the decision to go with Solar. Thank you Future Energy Savers for everything.

Solar Installation

Future Energy Savers made the decision to move to energy independence extremely simple. My wife and I had discussed solar for years and never thought that the process would be as easy as it was. Every person from Future Energy Savers was straightforward and uncomplicated. They shared information and answered every question we had. They were extremely professional and courteous. The panels were installed in one day with no delays. We enjoy knowing that we are making a positive contribution to both our environment and our pocket book. We highly recommend Future Energy Savers.

Fantastic Service Overall

After deciding to pursue solar, Future Energy was the fourth company we received a pitch from. (One company wasted our afternoon with a sales pitch and never got back to us with the price!) If you're thinking about installing solar (and now is the time to do it because the tax credit goes away soon), skip the sales pitches from other companies and just reach out to Future Energy. Every aspect of the experience was outstanding. The pitch from Dale was low-key and well-delivered. The roof assessment was quick and thorough. The two technicians who handled the installation started and finished early. Financing was easy. Customer service was responsive and friendly. In short, THIS is the way every company out there should be operating. We've been really happy with our decision to go green and Future Energy was so easy to work with.

Solar Panel Installation

Scheduled an appointment with Future Energy Savers after meeting a representative at a Earth Day event. Kevin explained the options available to us, the differences between the solar panels, answered all our questions and recommended a 4kW system for our house. We decided to go with a panel that would increase the roof guarantee from 10 to 25 years. They offered to work with our homeowner's association but we choose to do that piece ourselves. Everyone that we talked to or met with was friendly and professional from our initial appointment to the close out meeting at project completion. Our system was installed in less than a day. The only slow part of the project was waiting for SMUD to do their part but we were warned about that before we signed our contract. We are looking forward to lower electric bills for years to come.

We were pleased with Future Energy Savers from the beginning to the end. From the first time Thomas stepped on our doorstep to measure for our installation right through to the end of the installation. They kept us informed as to when they would arrive and arrived right on time. The installation was done in one day and there was installation mess in the yard when they left.

Solar Service

Overall, I was pleased with the experience I had with Future Energy Savers. The initial sales information was much more informative than other solar sales folks. They got into much more details about the different style of panels and how they calculate what will be needed. The installation took less than a day and they color matched everything to the exact paint hue. The program used (Enphase) to monitor the power to the grid has some variance (about 3-5% discrepancy) and it is difficult to know if that is just SCE not being mindful or something in the internal programming. The app is easy to use and you can see the output of the panels. Again, overall a good experience.
