Freedom Power

Fabulous solar installation

FreedomSolar was very professional and installed as promised. The Panels look terrific, and work marvelously

Excellent service

I had a great experience and quality service with Freedom Solar. Team members are customer friendly and very easy to communicate. I highly recommend this company to install solar and backup powerwall systems.

Literally saved me!

So, I’m still completing the set up process waiting for final inspections, but the expert electricians with Freedom Solar found a problem from my home builder that could have been a disaster for my family. The electrician found a huge mistake with the wiring set up. The entire house wasn’t grounded! He noticed the issue and brought it straight to my attention. I was able to notify the builder, and they immediately sent their electrician. The builder’s electrician was very worried and grateful for Freedom’s electrician for noticing the issue. I was so freaked out and thankful for choosing Freedom. It must have been faith. My whole family could have been up in smoke. Overall, the process has been pretty quick and easy. No complaints. Easy to get help when needed. The install was quick and easy. The panels look great on the roof. I do recommend Freedom Solar if you’re considering solar options.

I've had my solar installed by Freedom for just about a month now and figured between all the weather events we had now's a good time to write my review. It might be a little long, but I figured this may help someone new to solar or concerned with things I was concerned with. Freedom Solar Company: When I decided to get solar, I contacted 10 companies. Some may feel that excessive but for the money you spend for solar you want to make sure you’re getting the best deal. Once I choose Freedom I instantly knew I picked a great company. They were responsive and made me feel like more than an account number. The company took care of all the paperwork with the HOA and permits for the city. I am more than thrilled with picking Freedom Consultant: I worked with Jonathan Baldridge for my project. I am not the easiest person to work with, so I'll start with that. Between my crazy schedule and the fact I research everything I can before a purchase you can only imagine I had a lot of questions. Also, there is a lot of conflicting information out there when it comes to solar so having someone in the know was great. Jonathan was very patient, responsive and informative especially when I had 1-5 questions a day. Even after the installation he continues to reach out with check-ins to make sure things are good. Survey: The survey team came out with a drone checked my roof and after a couple of days came up with a design that fit what I wanted and pleased my wife’s requests for limited front visibility. The person who came out for the survey was great and friendly. I was his last job for the day so he had no issue explaining the complete process after the survey and also how he loves working for the company. You would be surprised how many people you asked about a company and its all negative, but nope he was all praises. Again, another person from the company friendly and responsive. Installation: For this one I’ll have to say we had a minor hiccup, nothing to do with the installation but more with a crew member. Nothing huge but again just a hiccup. The installation took about 6 hours for a 2-story house. Of course, typical me being me I had a question or two about some vents on the roof. One was to be capped the other cut down but not capped and the crew chief was more than happy to explain the process. We did an attic installation which means all wires run through your attic and out the side of the house where your panels are. Some people like it for the clean look, I’ll say this it is very clean. Some don’t want to risk it and have the wires run on the roof it your choice honestly. As I’m sure most homeowners I wanted to know where every wire was run so as usual, I asked. They were happy to explain what was going where and how they were sealing it so no leaks would occur. After everything was done, they cleaned the area set up my next appointment. For the last week or so we have had rain, ice and light snow. For all those events I went to the attic and checked to make sure there were no leaks and it was bone dry. So the installation was very well done. Electrician: This was the last step in the installation. The installation took a couple of hours and I’m not going to pretend I knew what he was doing. First time in the whole installation I didn’t really have a question plus you never want to bother anyone who’s messing with electrical wires. Once he was done he explained how the system worked, walked me through the panels and what they do. He was also nice enough to explain how batteries would work once I decide to get them with the system setup I have. He cleaned up and was done with that part. System: So far my system has been generating surplus electricity, This is common this time of the year. Can wait to see what it will do during the summer when I’m going to need that surplus. I went with the electric company Jonathan recommend due to the buyback rate and so far my first bill was nothing owed. I’m also happy the way the panels look, trust me I’ve seen some panels that would be a deal breaker. Also, the panels are big and I do mean big so the big plus for me is that you need less panels than an average system. Cons: so far the only negative I have is more with Sunpower than with Freedom. It would be nice to have individual monitoring of panels on the app. I get they have a great product when it comes to solar panels, but the monitoring app is its weak point. Conclusion: If you’re in the market for solar give Jonathan a ring he will get you set up. Freedom is a great company and should be on your short list for solar.

Great job

I was referred to work with Michael Carey by a neighbor and it was truly a joy working with him. He is accessible and always willing to work with you. What I like the most is he is organized and if anything changes he will keep you updated. My other neighbors had solar systems installed by another company, but their experiences were so bad and when they shared I felt that Michael Carey did an outstanding job. Another thing, he is knowledgeable about the process and what it requires from the homeowner.

Super satisfied.

To have a company guide you through this entire process is priceless. Freedom solar power did just that for me. From the initial consultation to being fully operational I have nothing but praises for them. Big shout out to my Energy Consultant, Jose Palacios, he was able to guide me in every process of my project. Would recommend him to anyone wanting to go solar.

Excellent service

Met or Exceeded Expectations

From the contracting process through the installation and the solar production all our expectations have been either met or exceeded by Sunpower and Freedom Solar. We have been installed for 45 days. We will not know the exact cost of our solar power plus or minus grid power until we have gone through 2022. But it appears that the purchase of grid power and the reduction of that because of our solar power output will result in no or very little out of pocket cost for electrical power other than our monthly installment for our equipment. We are looking forward to our first Freedom Solar year.

I worked with Zach Stirling, everything was communicated well and project was completed on time

Installing Residential Solar Panel

Great company, great staff, on time, and high-quality service. Strongly recommend this company.

Excellent

From the professionalism of the sales staff to the expert installers, this experience has been great. These guys really k ow what they're doing. 5 stars.

Freedom Solar

Just want to say how happy and impressed we are with our Sunpower Solar Panels. They produce exceptional energy for our large home on top of looking very nice on the roof. Our Sales guy Sam Cochran was very instrumental in helping us to the right number of panels for our financial concerns. He patiently provided us with all the tools and visuals needed to finalize our decision. Thank you, and thank you for helping our neighbors, Sam!

Outstanding decision

Bought my solar panels and backup Tesla battery from Freedom Solar Power. The sales, solar panel installers and the battery technicians were outstanding! Explained their process, cleaned up after themselves and even let me watch! Cherry on top was a hand-written thank you note from the CEO.

My contribution to greener planet!

We finally took the plunge with Solar and we picked Freedom Solar to install Sunpower equipments. Looking back last 7 months with extensive research and meeting multiple installers, we opted for Freedom Solar. They were professional from day 1. Colin Milbardt was excellent, professional and very transparent. He gave me peace of mind and answered all my questions. The process was stress free from the beginning. Although not the cheapest in the market I'm glad I choose Freedom for the journey as they were there to answer all my questions trust me I had millions. They managed all the process end to end. With HOA push back initially they were able to provide all the required documentation to get it approved. Installation and Approvals was profession and a breeze. I will totally recommend Freedom Solar to anyone looking to go Solar. I got my first electricity bill today and its ZERO.

Great experience with the Freedom Solar Power

My neighbor had solar panels installed, I spoke with him and he put me in touch with Spencer Sobolik. Spencer contacted me and reviewed options for our home. He was very professional, answered all my questions and put no pressure on me to make a quick decision. Once I decide to proceed, the Freedom Solar team made the process very easy, from financing to installation, everything was completed when they said it would be. I very pleased we choose Freedom Solar as your Solar company.

How all companies should be.

I highly recommend Freedom Solar. Choosing Freedom Solar has been an amazing experience. After months of comparing solar companies, no one can beat their offers. Especially the 25 years warranty on all components. The competitive finance options and the friendly customer service during the whole process. Zachary Pearce was extremely professional and thoroughly explained the entire process. All member of Freedom Solar that I had contact with was truly professional and went above and beyond to ensure the entire process went smoothly.

OFF THE GRID!

OFF THE GRID! No longer at the mercy of ERCOT ( . . . was very cold during February 2021 blackouts). Freedom solar earns 5 stars for the usual dimensions of high-quality products, on time service, on time completion of project, professional employees and project cleanliness. EXTRA BONUS for time and patience with an octogenarian to explain, demonstrate, and validate the customers ability to understand the new technology and the new applications

Freedom Solar

Freedom Solar was one of the companies I contacted for my solar installation. Matthew Villanueva, the consultant I worked with, was very helpful throughout the process in terms of helping me understand the available technologies and why their product and panel is superior. Matthew has been wonderful to work with. He is attentive, fast and always provide quick responds to my phones or emails. Overall, my experience with Freedom Solar was great right from the start because of Matthew. They also did a job on installing the system; 2 hours installation which is the best and cleanest install I have seen in my neighborhood so far. Electrician also spent 3 hours to finish everything; Super fast, quick, and clean job.

Super Happy

Our experience with the entire Freedom Solar team has been exceptional. We met with Bryan Kerr just about 2 weeks ago to discuss our solar options and our system is already installed and online. Bryan was so knowledgeable and the tools available to show us the layout of our house as well as the most cost effective installation for our needs gave us a real understanding of the system we were installing. Ashley and the entire team did a great job of communicating next steps and all personnel were on time, professional and did a great job. We love the tool that shows us how much energy we are using and how much our system is providing. We are very happy with our decision to go solar and super pleased with the Freedom Solar team and product.

Freedom is What We Got

I had the pleasure of working with Zach Stirling with Freedom Solar and he was such a genuine person. I always felt like Zach had our best interest at heart. They analyzed our energy history and made recommendations based off of that, which showed us we actually needed less panels than what I requested saving us even more money. We wanted to be energy independent, because hurricanes are a real thing here, and freedom is what we got. Thank you so much! We love our SunPower Panels!

Love my Sunpower solar array from Freedom Solar

The entire process of purchasing our solar array went smoothly Tony, our sales person made the configuration and selection process easy Jack scheduled the installation to fit our schedule Ramon and his installation team arrived an hour early and completed the task in under four hours. Panel placement was great. They even painted the conduit to match the house Brandon answered all my geek questions perfectly The system turns out power to match the quote and does it in even less than bright conditions I enjoy monitoring the system on the SunPower app All in all a pleasant experience

The power of professional customer support

From our introduction to Sunpower by Freedom Solar Power, Spencer Sobolik and his team of professionals met every challenge we could give them. The seamless project plan was incredibly easy to follow, and the support at every level from every member of the Freedom Solar Team was exemplary. We watched the electrical installation, the PowerWall installation, and the solar panels add to our roof; every piece was meticulously evaluated, planned, and installed. During each process, the team took time to answer our questions, give us 'best user' suggestions, and introduced us to the magic transformation from grid dependent to solar energy perfection. This team is the best of the best, so if you want just any solar product then let one of those pesky door-to-door guys reel you in. But, if you want the best with the finest in customer support of product dependability, then you need to talk to Freedom Solar Power and go Sunpower! After all, talk is cheap...great customer service before, during, and after builds confidence, trust, and a professional support network. Freedom Solar Power will exceed your expectations and bring the beauty of energy savings and solar power to your life and home.

Excellent company, service, and products

I was skeptical when I first started looking into Solar. Initially I was approached by a Solar MLM who gave me a plan and just wanted me to sign on the line to get approved for the loan and move forward with the install. I did not get good vibes from their company and I do not support their business model. I started doing my research and found the Solar MLM company did not pop up on the CPS registered solar contractors list which can be found here: (https://www.cpsenergy.com/content/dam/corporate/en/Documents/Registered%20Solar%20Contractors.pdf) After reviewing the list and contacting different vendors I found that Freedom Solar had the best presentation, pricing, and customer service. Shane Hertig, their sales rep, gave an excellent presentation, and answered my long list of questions with thorough responses. I found their SunPower A-Series 410 Watt Panels solar panels to be the best in the industry with 25 year warranty serviced by Freedom Solar. They sent out a surveyor to create a 3d model of the roof with the best position for the panels for the angle of the sun during the day. The install took about a day, and then the hookup to the grid took about another 2 weeks since CPS was backed up from COVID. The cherry on top was Shane's excellent communication. He kept me up to date on the timeline as well as all the promos and rebates being offered . They offered several financing options depending on how soon I wanted to pay off the loan. They also took care of the HOA application and the CPS rebate being offered. I highly recommend giving Freedom Solar a chance to show their best.

Legit as they come.

I took several months to decide on going solar or not. Most solar reps tired me out on "going solar" because all they talked about was "hurry hurry the rates are going up" etc. I finally had a rep from Freedom Solar come by and pitch me. It turns out they only sell a brand of panels by the name of SunPower and they are as legit as they get. Not only did they convince me but my wife as well. They covered all our questions during their presentation and they guy wasnt pushy. The company is the most solid solar installer Ive come across. If anything Id say that if you're shopping for solar, a bid from SunPower is a must.

More than expected.

I hooked up with Freedom SolarPower thru a simple internet search of providers in my area and they reached out to me within hours. I was also contacted by several other companies but after asking questions about cost and time it was an easy decision to make. Freedom SolarPower was at my home within a few days to get measurements and look in my attic, this took a total of 30 minutes. Within a week there was a crew here to put up the panels and 2 days later an electrician was here to replace my antique electrical panel, once that was done they installed all the ground components and ordered an inspection..... Inspections can wear you down with little things and take to time to get passed, Freedom had a tech standing by to fix problems and solve every problem the inspector found, I did not have to a thing. Total time for Freedom SolarPower to install was around 12 hours, waiting for the energy company and inspectors to do a half an hour of work took weeks which I fully understand. Freedom SolarPower has a very good team of people that are friendly, respectful and competent! I was impressed with how well a half dozen guys can work together. All of my questions were answered and my system is producing clean energy. I am very happy with this company and would recommend them to anyone.
