We chose Freedom Solar for several reasons: 1. Equipment: We chose quality. There are cheaper, less reputable, and inferior quality solutions available – we chose Freedom Solar for a reason. 2. Service: Robert Bradshaw, our Freedom Solar representative, spent HOURS consulting with me. He ran me through EVERY configuration I asked for. Additionally, when I inquired about “extra” products, he was candid with me about the pros and cons. He has my respect for many reasons. More recently, he assisted us on a non-sales related issue, for which we remain grateful. 3. Warranty: 25-year labor warranty. Plus, they don’t outsource their labor. We’re grateful for the solution. It’s delivered and I highly recommend Freedom Solar, and specifically Robert Bradshaw.

Excellent Experience!

We had a great experience using Freedom Solar for our solar panel purchase and installation. Our consultant, Spencer, did a phenomenal job walking through the process and helping us through each step. Two years later we bought a backup battery and didn’t even look around. Our experience was so great the first time that we went right back to Spencer and Freedom Solar.

Freedom Solar delivered on my Solar needs.

From start to finish, Freedom Solar was easy to work with. Zach Stirling, my sales rep, scheduled an examination of my house and the solar possibilities which was performed quickly and an estimate was then created that suited my electrical needs. The entire process took less than 3 months and and my power bill was reduced from over $2000 to just over $400 for the entire year. Freedom Solar also was with me all the way in regards to permits and all the things required of my local power company. I did not have to do much. Zach was always available to answer questions and constantly checked in with me about the project. The guys showed up on day, installed the system, and a week later after municipality inspection, I was using the sun! Could not be happier.

After researching 10 companies I choose to have Freedom Solar do my Solar installation. The consistent response, professionalism, and high quality technology were all strong deciding factors during my selection process. I Since my installation I have easily produced more energy than our 2000 square foot home needs on a monthly basis. It has been two years since my install and I could not be happier with the support I receive. Especially from Spencer, who is the representative I worked me with on my purchase. Even two years AFTER the sale, I can always count on him to answer questions I have about my system. I would not recommend any other solar company to my friends and family.

Excellent Company

Freedom Solar Power is the only company that handled my project from end to end. All of the people I worked with were their employees, licensed and insured to work on my property. No other company could provide this reassurance.

We have been very happy with our array. More or less makes the electricity bill go away, and we really appreciate our sales rep Spencer Sobolik. Spencer is out contact if anything crops up, and that feels like a true luxury in a world filled with call centers. So far the paenls have also withstood some serious hail which is a relief, not sure other panels in the neighborhood fared as well.

Powercell Battery vs. Whole Home Generator

The Freedom Solar sales representative - Sam Cochran - presented to me why he would hands down select solar/battery back-up power with the Tesla Powercell 3 vs. a Whole Home Generator. Sam is a wealth of knowledge and is very financially and technically competent in the product that he sells. If you are considering a battery back-up power system, then Sam is your guy.

Awesome Support Through IRS Audit

We have enjoyed our ground mount solar panels and 4 Tesla PowerWall batteries ever since installed for the following reasons: 1. Climate change is here 2. We are all electric and wanted an energy backup when the electric goes out 3. We planned to purchase electric cars, and now we have two. This spring we were informed by the IRS that our 2022 tax return was being audited specific to the Residential Energy Credit. Sam Cochran and the Freedom Solar team was extremely helpful in providing guidance and documentation for the IRS. I just received news from the IRS auditor that our documentation supports the Residential Energy Credit claimed. Thank you to Sam and the whole Freedom Solar team!

Exceptional experience; instant savings & backup power

Our sales rep, Sam Cochran, was honest, straightforward and easy to work with. Every single person we encountered was professional and respectful. The entire solar and battery installation took one day to complete. Every solar installer and the electrician, Christian Reyes, was dutiful and they were patient with us, careful to explain exactly what was going on. Thankfully our solar and batteries were installed before the massive storm (tornado) that hit Houston, so thankfully we did not lose power for the entire week. Also, the savings are tremendous. We live in Centerpoint, so Sam Cochran helped us set up the Powerwall 3 battery so that during peak demand, we can sell our battery energy back to the grid. Within a week of our system being installed, I have seen our battery sell power for over 100 cents per kW, and summer has barely just begun!! 10/10, I highly recommend Freedom Solar Power.

Great system and installation process!

The experience of shopping and designing our solar system tailored to our needs was a breeze when working with Freedom Solar Power! We worked closely with Sam Cochran. He was knowledgeable and always attentive to our needs. When some issues arose during the installation process, Sam jumped to help connect us with the appropriate people in other departments and continued to follow up with them to have all issues resolved promptly! The crew that they send were very efficient they finish in no time very clean an professional It took sometime to get the system but it was not their fault my roof did have some hail damage so they waited until i got it replace and then the rest was a breeze Im very happy so far can wait until is running once they do the inspection Thanks James Adam and Monica

Excellent Experience with Freedom Solar

From the start Mike Carey gave us excellent service. He spent more than two hours with my wife and I and explained every facet of the project in detail including finance options. Once the project was approved by all parties the installation was scheduled and adhered to. The overall time for the project from my appointment with Mike to the time I could use the system was a little more than two months, which I was more than satisfied with. The Goat team (hopefully I have their team's name correct) installed the hardware and Jessie did the electrical connection work. The installers experience was evident with both parts of the project being very professionally accomplished. Last, but by no means least, a shout out to the unsung heroes on the customer service team and in particular Maria. She was very helpful when needed. The system has been up and running for approximately two months and at this point we are more than satisfied. Thank you for a job well done.

Hello; My experience with power outages began with Hurricane Ike. We were without power for 13 days. I met my brother-in-law in Rayne, Louisiana to get generators, gas, and air conditioners. My brother-In-law worked for Exxon and he had 75 gallons of gas for us. Thanks to him, we made it through Ike. Later, I was still not receptive to Solar Energy, but I knew I had to take care of my family if we had another storm. Then, it snowed. My sister had no power, and the plumbing froze in her house here and in Canyon Lake. We were fortunate and only lost power for a short time. I still ran off the people wanting to show me Solar Power. One day, I shocked my wife by saying that we needed to learn about Solar Power. I knew from other friends how expensive running a whole house generator on propane was for them and due to our health issues, knew I had to do something. We have plenty of sunlight and no natural gas. Therefore, Solar Energy was by far our best option. I looked up companies and reviews and set up a few appointments. I read an article that said SunPower had the best solar panels. I called, and later, Sam Cochran of came to talk to us. Sam was on time, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He listened to us and taught us about SunPower. When he started to calculate what our needs were, I gave him my requirements. I wanted it to work. Period! I don’t like things that don’t work. He listened and showed us what we needed and a few days later, we purchased his proposal. He kept in contact with us and answered every question we had. He made this experience very easy. From the sales to the installation crew...The very best, Professional, friendly really knows what they are doing, worked hard, cleaned up and made sure all was done above and beyond what they had to do. I called the sales person, Douglas so many times with questions and was answered every time and always friendly and took care of every question and problem I have. The installation crew, Apollo 11, I think they called themselves...WOW! They are the cream of the crop and none better anywhere.

I was initially skeptical about purchasing solar panels because I thought they wouldn’t be worth it. After setting up an appointment, we spoke with Spencer who guided us through a cost-benefit analysis and each step of the solar power process. After realizing solar was a reliable and cost saving alternative for our energy needs, we made the purchase. Freedom Solar Rocks

I decided to research Solar Panels in May 2022. After another rate increase by Xcel Energy, the hand writing was on the wall. Electric bills were only going to get more and more costly. I contacted 5 companies to give me estimates. Each company required my electric usage going back a year, pictures of my electric panel on the back of my home, and my expectation of the solar panels. I decided to go with SunPower by Freedom Solar based on two things 1) Maxeon Series 425 Watt Panels manufactured by SunPower and only sold through them - these panels are the best on the market and give the highest percentage of solar output for the longest amount of time 2) Mike Kasprzyk, sales representative for Freedom Solar. Mike presented his proposal to me and spent a couple of hours explaining and answering my many questions about the proposed project. This was a huge expense for anyone let alone a senior on a fixed income. Mike gave me his cell number and told me to call him if I had any further questions. After reviewing all the estimates and asking questions of all the providers, I went with Freedom Solar. When I signed the proposal acceptance and gave Mike my deposit, he promised i could call him anytime with any question about my project. And, believe me, I did. I was very nervous in the beginning and his support was unwavering. I need not have worried. From the moment I signed with Freedom Solar, I had the support and expertise of every single person associated with my project. Mike Kasprzyk 303-656-9342 was ever available throughout my project. Krista Vohs guided me through every single step of the process. I almost had no time to formulate a question or concern before Krista responded to me. The site assessment person, the solar panel installation crew, the electric installation person, the monitor installation person - every one were knowledgeable, professional, courteous, efficient, and understanding.
