Freedom Power

solar installation

Sales rep was Nathan Day. On time, knowledgeable, and provided all information requested. Installation of 30 panels was done in 1 day. Crew professional in all aspects, work area cleaned up upon completion, all aspects of system/monitoring was at level I could understand. The monitor connection stopped working. Freedom folks immediately helped trouble shoot and then called manufacturer for a replacement. If I had money would hire them to install more.

12 KW SUNPOWER PV SYSTEM INSTALLED BY FREEDOM SOLAR POWER

Freedon Solar Power Installed our 12 KW PV SunPower system. The staff was responsive to our needs. They gave us quality advice. Freedom installed the system on time and worked with us as new siding was being installed at the same time the PV panels were being installed. SunPower PV panels are the best. Every member of their staff with whom we came in contact was courteous and professional. After installation they have been prompt in dealing with our needs. We are looking to work with them to do another installation. Remote monitoring is awesome.

SunPower Installation

I researched and received 5 bids for my solar project. These were my criteria: 1. 100% offset of my electrical needs 2. Turn-key installation 3. Long-term hassle-free 4. Price Freedom Solar met all of these criteria. The system is designed to offset all of my annual electric consumption. The engineering and installation team did all of the work without any involvement on my part. The system has a lifetime warranty on the installation, 25 years on the panels, and 20 years on the inverters. Finally, Freedom had the lowest price/kW. I am actively recommending Freedom Solar to anyone who is interested in going solar.

Awesome Experince

The total experience with Freedom Solar Power was the best. The Sales staff provided multiple systems information and explained everything plainly and completely including The Austin Energy Rebates, Federal Tax Credits, and financing at an easily understandable level. The Field and Office Staff all were constantly putting our needs and desires first to achieve our goals. The overall outcome was total customer satisfaction. The best experience and I Highly Recommend Freedom Solar Power for your Solar PV System!

More than just a name!

Freedom Solar isn't just a name, it's about facilitating freedom from the conventional energy sources of our day! We ended up going with the most efficient solar panel in the world and there are only a few companies who are eligible to market and sell the SunPower product. Freedom Solar was excellent to work with and had our panels installed in a single day. They showed up promptly at 8am and were done by 3pm. Very courteous and professional. I especially appreciated the fact that the people on my roof were actually Freedom Solar employees and not a subcontractor with nothing to lose. Highly recommend talking to this company.

Great product. Great service. Great price.

We've had our PV (solar) system for almost a year now and we've saved so much money in our electric bill. Adam made the whole process of choosing the correct system, getting the loan and then getting everything installed so simple. I couldn't be happier.

Very professional, quick, and friendly - overall A+ Excellent!

My favorite part is how Freedom handles all the paperwork for all the a) rebates and b) financing. They make it so easy - you almost HAVE to sign-up!

Your research ends here.

Five houses in our neighborhood had Freedom Solar Power set up their Solar Power System without one complaint, only positive feedback. Stop doing research and go with Freedom Solar. The questions you don't even think to ask will be answered by them.

Offered only quality panels and inverters at a good price.

We took the plunge into solar in the summer of 2014. Between falling solar panel prices, federal rebates, and utility incentives it made sense. Both financially and feeling good about producing energy from the sun. We got quotes from a number of companies. We decided on Freedom for a number of reasons. One the only offered us micro inverter systems. These produce more energy, more reliably than something called string systems. Second they used panels made in North America. The panels and inverters had good warranties. They also offered true no interest financing for a year which allows us time to get our federal rebate. Every other company we got quotes from pushed string systems and then when we said no, only foreign panels often from companies that had just started. And per kWh were charging more than Freedom. So the price and panels were good. Then the installers were efficient and pleasant. Reps were always available via email or phone. Output so far in the first two months has met or exceeded projections. Note we are in Oncor service area so not just Austin offers rebates although Oncor can run out of rebate money later in a year. Over all highly recommended you at minimum contact Freedom and I recommend putting them at the top of your list.

Review

I am very satisfied with the installation we received from Freedom Solar. The presentation material outlined all the steps, materials, cost and the solar panels expected production. So far, the actual production has exceeded projected. The installation was done in a few days with quality materials and excellent workmanship. The solar panels are American made and the inverters are of highest quality. Freedom is local and knowledgable about the rebates. They handled the process of obtaining the rebate. I appreciate the ability to monitor the daily production of the panels. When there was a minor problem with a faulty fuse, they continued to be supportive in locating and correcting the problem.

Great Company!

I first got started with solar by hearing an ad for AC Solar. I had contacted them and scheduled an appointment which I was told was going to be 60-90 minutes. Over 5 hours later the salesman was still rambling on about the Study Home program. I decided I should scope out some reviews and see how I feel about the company. I couldnt find anything positive written about it. As I was planning my next move I started getting high pressure "someone in your area is going to take the study home availability away if you dont act now" routine. I decided I was not going with this company. I did however get a few calls from the Denver office as time went on offering discounts on the quoted price. Wasnt happy. In one of the reviews someone had mentioned the same experience with them and that they had gone to Freedom Solar. I called and explained my situation. Two days later I have Robert at my home giving me all the details in less than an hour. Very respectful of my time and frustration with AC Solar. Robert was able to offer a superior product at a much better price than AC was offering. He then was able to schedule the sky mappers quickly and get this project moving. Unfortunately my house would require chopping down 2 large Oak trees and some modification to our gas meter so solar was not feasible for our house. I am trying to convince anyone who will listen that solar is the way to go, especially in San Antonio where CPS offers huge rebates. If you are on the fence between AC Solar and Freedom, do yourself a favor and call Robert at Freedom. You will not be disappointed.

We were very glad that we made the decision to go solar and that Freedom did the job for us. Trouble free from start to finish for us.

Residential solar panel installation

I can't say enough good things about this company. I wanted to have my solar panels installed before the end of the year to maximize the incentives available. I contacted 7 different companies. Freedom Solar was the only company that showed up on time, and one of two companies that showed up at all. From the first meeting they were courteous, professional, and went above and beyond to make the experience painless from beginning to end. Their prices were very competitive and the price I paid was that remaining AFTER the Austin Electric incentive. Apparently receiving the money is quite delayed, assuming you've submitted the paperwork correctly, but no worries for me because they took care of it and deducted that amount from the price. They also walked me through, and provided the paperwork, for the federal income tax incentive. Beyond the financial, when they were at my home from initial inspection through installation and post inspection, I barely knew they were there. No muss, no fuss. It couldn't have been easier to magically have a power bill that went from average $500 month to average $60 month. I feel strongly about the integrity of Freedom Solar, enough to inspire my first ever online review of a company!

Highly recommend!

Smooth process, great people, awesome job on my new solar system!!! Helped me figure out the best financing options for my needs. Installers cleaned up at the end of everyday & explained everything they were doing each day. Highly recommend!
