Solar System Warranty

Do not trust this company. The are claiming that you only have 20 days to get the warranty transfer. How would the new home owner gets this information. Seems, like the other reviews, Freedom is very deceiving and in the business of committing major Fraud. This company needs to be investigated. I will be contacting a Lawyer regarding the transfer of the Warranty.

Design not complete, no response, customer service horrible

A month past expected design completion with NO information/status. Does not answer simple questions. Horrible communication (non-existent or one sided from me). Portal status is worthless. Customer support abysmal (they scheduled a call with me and completely forgot). Extremely disappointed and wished I had gone with someone else.

Installation

Very poor service, started the process it took them over 2 yrs and never installed the solar but went ahead to charge me the monthly payments.

Customer Service

Terrible customer service, very disorganized, no one is in charge. The app is not reliable, and customer service often can’t help with issues. Their “live chat” is worthless. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Shoddy equipment and poor support

BEWARE I paid forty two thousand dollars so I would not have a Power bill. Back in November, My. Inverter went out. As a result , I had an eighty nine dollars Power bill which I paid now the inverter is out again. They tell me it will take 2 weeks for them to get to it. Then if it can't be fixed online, they have to schedule an appointment that can take another week. So, as a result, I am gonna have a very big power bill this month.With that they will not cover. Does this mean every six months i'm going to have to Have the Inverted replaced and pay a power bill?? First time okay, I'll pay it.But second time in six months I think they should be responsible

Rip off

I signed the contract in March and initially set up a loan through Mosaic. Then I saw the total interest that would be paid out over 15 years and decided I would rather pay the whole thing up front. I called Freedom Forever and told them I wanted to pay cash before the install, and they told me they would switch my account from loan to cash and bill me. They sent me a bill for 80% of the cost to get started and I sent them a cashiers check. Unbeknownst to me they also pulled money from the Mosaic loan and I started getting loan payment requests from Mosaic after the install was completed. There were several emails and phone calls between myself and FF and Mosaic to straighten this out, and FF promised to refund the 80% payment I sent them and I would do the loan payoff to Mosaic. I still haven't seen the refund from Freedom Forever and going through Mosaic has cost me an extra $500 in interest even though I paid off the loan immediately. I will be getting a lawyer to sue Freedom Forever for the refund they owe me.

Nothing but LIES!!

From the 1st day, the Salesman LIED. The loan is not assumable. I was unemployed, and in the process of trying to sell my home. The salesman offered an incentive to sign and install, which to date I have never seen. The install was in Nov 2023, and didn't finally get activated until May 2024. Therefore I was making double payments to Mosaic, as well as NV Energy, and was also told I would be reimbursed. And still have not seen this reimbusment. Evey time I call for service I get a rude person on the other line, as if " we sold and installed the equipment, it isn't our problem anymore"! Mosaic, the Lender is 10x's worse to talk to. LIES, LIES. and more LIES!! I wouldnt use these companies to install on my worse enemies home if it was given to me!

Terrible customer service, system not set up properly

More than a year after our installation and connection, we still weren’t seeing any savings or even production. Freedom Forever’s system wasn’t even connected and showing an issue - it simply wasn’t communicating at all. They never sent a technician and had I not asked, they wouldn’t even know. They still haven’t sent a tech after numerous attempts to get the system assessed and fixed. I’m contemplating returning it an and asking for a refund. Really poor customer service communication and had I not finally gotten connected to a line customer service rep who will call me back, I’d probably still just be on hold.

Do not use in Tucson

Run from these guys and do not be fooled by any sales guy selling you that their installation crew is the best in Tucson. My installation started Monday 5/13/2024 with all the panels being installed in the wrong location. I happened to catch it before they were done, the installation team response was "they just shifted the panels" (to the entirely opposite side of the house). Contacted Freedom Forever, absolutely no response or even an apology to acknowledge the massive mistake. They moved to correct location and applied double taped patches over the holes now left in my tile roof. Patches were not sealed at the edges and 24h later are already lifting. Now they are dodging every request for response to correct. Inspection occurred today 5/15/2024... circuit panel cover left disconnected and out in elements. I'll be attaching pictures in comments as I get them from the roofing companies I had come evaluate the "patches" to roof where installation had to be removed. Abysmal customer service across the board and absolutely terrible installation quality of work. Plans were available and I was home during installation for questions. Inspection didn't even provide me a chance to be present at their walk thru before city Inspection.

RUN DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

Hello if you are thinking of doing any business with this company save your money and time. This company is a scam, I wish I was able to give a zero star. I remember in the beginning they wanted me to give them a rate meanwhile they have not done anything. I will be taking it to small claims court. Before you do any business with this company make sure you do your search. There are other solar panels out there, don't do business with this company

Freedom Forever Stole my Money

I put down $1000 with Freedom Forever to get solar at my home. The sales rep said my roof would be fine considering the age but when they sent a surveyor out a week later they said I should get a new roof before installing panels. I bought and installed a new roof. Now I cannot afford solar panels so I asked for my deposit back as no work had been done on my house by Freedom Forever. They informed me that I cannot get my deposit back after three days. I was never verbally told this. This seems incredibly disingenuous from the company because it took more than three days for the surveyor to come out let alone get a roofing bid and roof installed. All I want is my money back but they are unwilling to help despite making zero progress on the solar project.

Freedom from electrical bills...forever - What a Scam

More like locked in to 25 years of financing paying for a system that maybe generates enough electricity to offset your energy bill in the beginning, but after years of degradation will be obsolete and insufficient. Opinion aside, when they installed my system, they shorted one of the installation rails (skirt) and just connected the two rails together with tape, nothing structural and thought they could hide it. Additionally, they took out multiple permits with the city for the total solar project, electrical sub permit, roofing permit, all with full valuations to cause the total permit valuation against me to be double the project cost. I live in a flood zone and per FEMA regulations I am restricted to renovations at less than 50% of my home's building value, more is considered substantial improvements, and the house would have to be elevated to meet current flood elevation/code. When I brought these issues up with Freedom Forever and asked them to correct the valuations with the city/make it correct, they told me this isn't something they do and couldn't care less. They do shoddy work, go behind the customer's back, try to hide their shady practices and are not there for the customer when needed. If you choose to work with Freedom Forever in the future, just be prepared to work with a con artist version of a company.

Freedom Fraud Forever

First let me start by saying that if there was an option to give less than 1 star I would. I had my panels installed almost a year ago, 07/07/23, to be exact. I have been waiting for almost a year and paying over $400 in utilities monthly (about half from the local electric company and the other half from the decorative solar panels). At this point, I am unclear what I am paying for other than the new roof that was installed. The panels are generating power but this power is not going to my home, yet, I am paying for something that looks nice on the roof? Please help me understand that. I have been waiting to see when the electric bill would lessen from the power company but it has remained as high as it was prior to the solar panels being installed. I contacted Freedom Forever at the beginning of last week by email and their canned response was that they were sorry for my inconvenience and that their system was designed to generate power when the sun is shining and recommended that I not use energy-consuming appliances during daytime hours. They did acknowledge that they show that the system is generating solar power and that there were no detected alerts on the system from their end. But there was nothing stated to address why I am still paying the same amount for the electric bill from the power company that I was for this "solar" service that the sales rep assured me would go down or go away once the panels were in place. Since I had not heard anything back from them, I sent another email on Friday asking for a response by Monday EOB. The email I received this morning sent me through the roof. The same non-native English person responded with a similar version of the canned response I received early in the week but with a modified note now saying that since we are approaching the one year anniversary of the install date of 07/07/2024 that we should wait until August (paying over $400/month in utility bills) so that they can have a full year of information to determine if there is a problem with their system and then after their analysis that they would issue any reimbursements due. What kind of response is that? Who pays for a service that they have not received for one day let alone one year? Please make this make sense. In legal terms, this is either fraud or a ponzi scheme when you claim something that produces a different result. If you ever have someone from this company call or email you, immediately call law enforcement and report them!!

Garbage company that needs to be bankrupted

This is a garbage scam of a company. I hope this company goes bankrupt so there shady practices will be halted. i have a project cancelled since December of 2023 yet I am unable to have the lien removed from my house and credit report. I speak to Mosaic and get told that the other company Freedom Forever must send confirmation that it was cancelled. After speaking to Mosaic in April I am told that Freedom Forever has rejected my cancellation yet it was approved back in December and I have received confirmation that it was cancelled. I am getting a run around from both trash companies that need to go bankrupt. With any luck the government will not bail them out and send them to the streets where they belong. Garbage companies Mosaic and Freedom Forever. Avoid if at all possible.

Avoid this company

To be brief, it took 2 years and getting the state contractors licensing board involved to get Freedom Forever to come out to my house and fix an illegal power panel upgrade that they performed on my house. Had over 200 emails back and forth with many different customer service agents over the 2 year period. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM ! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Also the people that do the sales for them are independent contractors that lie to you about what the company will do.

Worst Company Ever

Please save yourself the trouble and do not use this company. I’ve been trying to get my panels done since October 2023 and it’s almost April 2024 and they are still not on.This company has dropped the ball for months. They have terrible customer service, project management, communication, and follow through. They didn’t even know they had missed the final inspection until I called the utility company to ask about the status. I had to let Freedom know it was missing and then they worked on fixing it. Please save yourself the heart ache and go with a different company. Using this company was a mistake.

Terrible company solar company

Freedom forever solar company is a scam. Run Run Run and not look back. Do not get solar system with this company. They will make you sign up with a finance company so that you can’t stop payment if their service is terrible. And truly their service is extremely terrible. For months and months, we have zero production, they will promise to come out and not show up yet they are billing us through mosaic. I can’t stop payment because Freedom Forever have taken their money. What a mess!

STAY AWAY FROM FREEDOM FOREVER!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND NO COMMUNICATION STAY AWAY!!! I would give them a 0000 star., I signed the contract in FEBRUARY 2023. It has been more than 13 months; they just now finished the installations and is waiting for final inspections. Throughout this entire process, there was absolutely no communications from the sale guy nor anyone from freedom forever. I had to contact the city myself every now and then to get an update. The plans spec needed to be revised, no one pick up the revisions for month until I called. Now I am paying for the loan, and the electric bill because the solar has not been activated yet. DO NOT BUY SOLAR FROM FREEDOM FORVER. Once they have your MONEY they won't make any effort to service you further.

WARNING WARNING WARNING

I would give this company zero stars. They are the worst company ever. They ripped up my roof to lay a composite roof under my tile roof. I did not want this but they did it anyway. So I got them to put in the contract a 10 year guarantee on the roof. They were told to stay away from the top windows above my garage and not to walk on the pans and flashing beneath the windows. I go out there to find them standing on the pans. They ruined them by bending them up. When the rains started my roof leaked like a sieve. This started in Sept 2023. It is now March 2024 and they still have not fixed my roof. They have sent out everyone BUT a roofer. I find out, that they do not have roofers and are farming this out. Now they are telling me it was not their fault or problem and it had nothing to do with the solar even though they ripped up the whole roof. Getting them to fix this problem has been hell. I go round and round with them and have numerous emails to them asking for a roofer and they are unwilling to send one out or honor the contract. They told me, I now must hire a roofer to prove they caused the problem. What kind of BS is this? I'm surprised these people are still in business. Looks like I will have to contact the state contractors board and make an official complaint when they should be taking care of this. They ripped up the whole roof and now I have to prove they caused the damage. This is pure bull shit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS INCOMPETENT IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY.

Find someone else

We started process 11/2023. Beware of sales pitch that the government will pay for your solar. They do not. You may get a tax liability credit IF you owe federal income tax. Otherwise, you do not have a usable credit. Strike 1 as they should not have used that as a selling tool. System was installed 12/2023. It is now 3/2024 and we are not able to use it yet. Inspection was to be done mid January and it was delayed by Freedom forever. I received two sets of new permits to attach for inspection. They all were identical. They finally scheduled inspection and it was finally completed End of 1/2024. Fortunately, I was here for inspection. Inspector said some stickers for voltage and amperage were missing on box connecting to the meter, but the stickers were on the inverter. He allowed it to pass. He was here 10 minutes. So, delay was not necessary from freedom forever as inspector just looked to see if we had a permit and of course checked connections. Strike 2 due to delay by freedom forever. Per our electric company, we need to have a liability insurance policy. Freedom forever covers it the first year. End of February was first contact I received about this policy. Something that they should have been working on since installation was completed. Policy has not been found yet so one has not been issued. So, we cannot use our solar system yet. I’ve contacted the insurance person, our freedom forever contact and our sales rep and no one is returning our calls. Strike 3 This is in addition to issues I had trying to get someone out her to fix a conduit that was coming out of the ground about 5 inches before the meter and so went in to meter at an angle. The electrician told me it would be fixed within the week. After going back and for with our FF contact, they finally sent someone to come fix it over a month later. Actually, 2 months later. Ended up being original electrician. Wasn’t even his fault, but the workers who dug the trench and filled it in. Anyways, bottom line, find another company. I won’t even get into their financing and how crooked Mosaic Solar is. Fortunately, we were able to get financing elsewhere. So, I’m paying for a loan and paying for a full electric bill as we do not have solar energy as of yet. If FF actually finds someone to get the insurance, which when I was first told about it I reached out to an agent to get an estimate so I would know how much the following years. I had within a day. Just a lot of incompetent people at FF. Find another company, please. Learn from all of us that have had bad experiences before hiring them.

Will not process cancellation

Freedom Forever has now taken seven months and not communicated with their financial partner Mosaic to reflect the project's cancellation in August. Multiple cases and attempts with their support team to resolve this issue have gone in continuous circles, and FF is saying it can take up to 60 days to get this communicated to Mosaic and processed. For anyone looking to install solar panels, this is not a reputable company, and I'm glad I didn't since customer service and lack of follow through to resolve does not exist.

Solar install caused damage to Roof in Virginia

Freedom Forever's install damaged my roof and caused it to leak. Since I signed a roof waiver, they stated that it was not their fault, and I could pay $10K to have the panels removed and reinstalled as well as a new roof put on at my own expense. I have been dealing with this company for 18 months without a remedy to date. The leaking has caused mold to form throughout my attic, substantial interior damage to my home, and this entire experience has been a nightmare. Also, they sold me on the "no power bill" theory, when in fact, I'm now paying double what I did before I had solar.

Horrible service

Agreed with all the previous comments. I like the sales person and his patience in explaining but the installation and after installation service were horrible. It took us 2 years to get the solar system installed and running. Now, there’s a roof leak that they cannot fix for over a year now. They now telling me that the roof may not be caused by the solar and I should figure it out myself!!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND DAMAGE

STAY AWAY!!! These people are crooks and scam artists. My roof was damaged by their installers and now in interior ceiling has extensive water damage. They sent someone out to repair the roof and said they would also be fixing the interior. After months of calling for a follow up they continue to avoid my calls. They say I will receive contact from the local branch which never happens. I've been calling since December of 2023 with no resolution. DO NOT BUY SOLAR FROM FREEDOM FORVER. Once they have your money they won't make any effort to service you further.

Very bad experience.

Avoid Freedom Forever due to the following reasons: 1. They deceive prospective customers to secure business. 2. They fail to honor agreements; I signed a contract with them two years ago, yet the solar panel installation remains incomplete. Despite my request for cancellation due to their failure to deliver, they demand a $3000 cancellation fee. Furthermore, one of their staff admitted to deliberately delaying the project because of an error in the initial quotation provided by the salesperson. 3. Their conduct is highly unprofessional. I deeply regret inviting their sales representative into my home. Take caution before signing any contracts with them. In summary, exercise caution and thoroughly consider your options before engaging in any business dealings with Freedom Forever.
