Good overall commitment. Note sure how the business is organized

Business needs to remain clear of how, when, and why of profits, who pays and why they get paid. Overall, the solar business does not seem to be well organized with clear guidelines, actually it's kind of schizoid in operation, with different businesses controlling different aspects of the business: one finance, one a lease, one the installation, and one the information aspects of the business. Originally, when we installed solar here in Texas, it was never made clear that not every energy company has a discount plan, and what that discount means. This information should be up front, not hidden. What happened is that we went for months without the solar discount, which when we switched to a company that had the discount for using solar it was fairly marginal. Then we ran into the cleanup crew, that came with a better plan, they somehow knew we were under-performing. This was more like a spy novel, than a real life attempt to get a workable solar fitment working. Who knew what when, and how they knew it was never clear. If a better job in done in the future of communicating, and clearly showcasing the benefit from all this, then the given ratings would go up. Meanwhile, we are tentatively watching what they are doing. Additionally, the technical details need to be shared with the consumer, it should not be taken for granted that the consumer is not interested in these details: load per panel, panel brand, efficiency per panel, total number of panels, and overall power out, expected savings, and net metering of the power back to the energy people. This should be presented to the consumer in a hard copy for reference, at least. As a contrast, when Leaf Filter installed our gutters we knew what they were doing, and I was informed in depth about the technology being used, which I appreciated as a retired engineer. That they were using another company for finance, was a touch strange, but it worked out in the end, and was affordable for us. We are older people too, and it's a pretty solid fact for us that there are many out there that would be happy to use us as a piggy bank. So proceeding forward with this, was in some ways a leap of faith. There were several people that came around, stating about us under-performing, but I had absolutely no understanding of what they were talking about, and so I dismissed them all. It seems that good tracking of who is sent out is not done, leading to a lot of suspicion of door to door sales-creatures, which there seem to be a lot of out here, who would sell their own mothers if it was allowed. So yeah, we have a No Solicitors sign up front. The first date for the install was cancelled, but we were never informed of this, even though our email is perfectly workable. I got up at 6AM and waited for many hours for the guys to show up. We had to arrange another date. Retired people don't necessarily want to jump out of bed at 6AM, and you might want to keep in mind the nature of the customers you dealing with, demographics. I understand that in our environment that the intensive midday heat is a big factor, and getting started early is vital. Make sure your people are safe and well-hydrated and well-paid, which they seem to be. The install seemed to go well, and so far, things seem to be OK. Below--don't know what you mean by System Price, total system cost?--it is stated per month $213.07 on the contract Below--don't know what you mean by System Size, we already have 8.505 KW system installed, and each of your dozen panels adds 10.839 KW? We have two dozen sets, one on the west side and the other on the east side of the roof; so System Size would be 8.505 + 2(10.839) = 8.505 + 21.678 = 30.183 KW?

Lack of communication

We were granted PTO 2 days ago and I was curious about the green blinking lights on 2 out of the 3 system controls at home. I called customer support and spoke to Delores who was very helpful and advised that although we had permission to operate, there was still an issue with the detached garage not having a site map and still needs to be completed. Therefore causing the 2 green lights on the 2 system controls (attached to the garage) to be blinking. Delores explained that there’s a scheduled date of Sept 26 for Freedom Forever to come back to my residence and complete the site map and solve the issue. If it was not for the information I received from Delores today, I would not have known. Thank you Delores for your help and answering my questions and concerns regarding the remaining final step on this project. You truly showed what it is to give great customer service! I truly thank Freedom Forever Sales Representative Tanner Kanteman for the help he provided throughout this whole project. I cannot say the same for Project Specialists Kari Ross Pena and Natasha Hearn since I never got a single response from them after making a few calls, emails, and voicemail were left due to questions and concerns that I had.

Great Service

I really appreciate the technical knowledge and installation abilities. Everything was good except that the storage battery was not installed on the same day as the panels. It would've saved time.

Continual Inverter problems

2-3 years after solar was installed, a new inverter had to be installed and replaced. 4 months after the new inverter was installed, it looks like we need a technician to come out again. I’d leave 1-2 stars, but the customer support over the phone was very helpful and caring, so I’m giving 4 stars because of that. I wish we didn’t have these recurring inverter problems.

Salesman TJ is awesome very quick knows his job and very friendly. The installers were awesome as well did make changes and asked the wife and I anything that would be possibly not expected very communicative with us and were in and out 1 day on installation

Ups and down as for real information. As for my last call, Jasmin Buendia, she really went deep for my issue and did a great job willing to help. A 10 for her. Hopefully that with her notes I will get my issue of "medicion neta" with the electrical company of Puerto Rico(LUMA).

Solar Help Review

Takes quite a long time to get to speak to anyone, Dionta was quite courteous, a little hard to understand, though! He asked me for my info for verification purpses and instead of keeping me on the line while he looked at the file. He then put me on hold again…. Not a good experience for me! I know what good Customer Service is because I’ve done it for the last 30 years of my life, and I feel like this is mediocre Customer Service, you guys need to pick up your game!

Inverter Replacement

Technician who handled inverter replacement was helpful and friendly. Online customer service provided additional information regarding time frames for panel production to resume, Production Guarantee steps

All contacts with Freedom Forever have been positive except with Final Inspection the Technician did not communicate very well with what was happening as she sat in her truck for hours. Talked with Vicki from the main customer service number and found out she was waiting on another Technician from our area in Virginia. Vicki was very helpful! COMMUNICATION IS KEY!

I, had a great experience with the installation team and customer service for the most part, but there was a problem getting my battery from the vendor. That wasn’t any of their fault, it only delayed us a little over two weeks.

New solar panels

My wife and I were highly interested in "going green this year". After researching several companies we decided on Freedom Forever. We had the pleasure to work with Justin whom made the entire process a breeze. (Solar systems can be somewhat confusing.. haha). Going Solar in El Paso, Tx

My experience with Freedom Forever has been very exceptional. Richard has been very patient with answering my questions and actually taking his time to make sure I understood the process. We went over my electric bill for the year to compare the energy I use to what was recommended for the size of my family. Even after the panels were installed he stopped by to show me how everything works, including what apps i need to check the panels from my phone. Hopefully soon I won't be receiving an electric bill from El Paso electric. So far I believe I made the correct choice by going solar. Thank you Richard and Freedom Forever
