We interviewed three different solar companies and Empower was the absolute best. Our liaison was awesome - a good listener, patient, knowledgeable, and kind. We choose empower based on our initial interactions with him and never looked back. All along the way Empower team members have been great, including our installation team. Not to mention the actual products and infrastructure - which are top notch. We highly recommend Empower to anyone considering solar!!!

Great company

First off this company was great keeping in contact with me throughout the whole process and keeping up to date on where we were at. I’ve done extensive research on multiple companies around my area for solar panels before choosing SunPower by EmPower. Read through tons of reviews on multiple sites and found the best overall products/panels were SunPower. Although they were more on the expensive side it was well worth it with the quality of product they offered compared to other companies. Called in over a dozen companies to my home to listen to what they had to offer and what they were offering and how much power each panel can draw. At the end of the day SunPower by EmPower Solar has the best product to offer around my area and their panels look a lot better then other companies which I’ve seen around my neighborhood. You pay for what you get and I’ve read through a lot of horror stories with different companies. It was a great experience working with Matt and Byron, they kept me in the loop and also Matt even came down to make sure the project was moving along well. Matt was not trying to sell solar but would educate and answer any questions/myths you had about their products they offered. He also gave his input of what he would do but never once would he push you to buy anything like a car salesman that you weren’t comfortable with. Overall I’d recommend this company to anyone looking to buy solar panels. They also do have leasing options but I would not lease with any companies because well just do your research about leasing solar panels and you’ll find out the headaches of leasing

This was a seemeless process starting with my sales rep, Matt L and ending with my installers, managed by Ali B. Matt was honest, thorough, friendly and non assertive. He answered all of my questions and was readily available to help all during the process. Ali communicated each step of the installation and sent a team of excellent workers who took time and care to install everything properly and in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Overall, this was a phenomenal experience and I love seeing my electric meter tick backwards.

Even visited the day of installation to assure my satisfaction and gave me a gift. Installers Mike, Bert, John & Dean worked their best from sun up to sun down. Bert thanks for your assistance throughout- you guys dId an excellent job even with the cleanup afterwards. Answered questions while doing work-took time to explain and clarify. Evidence of team-work as I watch with amazement as solar panels was being installed on my roof. Thank you Dylan for your service, & manager Mike who stayed after hours to explain panels boxes, & assisted installing app on my phone & iPad. From the first person I spoke with, I was immediately impressed. The when I sat with Corey Roberts, I was sold. He had a heart of a teacher instead of a salesperson. He gave us the facts, answered our questions, and gave us space to make our decision. We then decided to get the installation and the crew were so professional, kind and helpful. After our system was turned on, we did not have to pay another payment to ConEd. Awesomeness.

Everything was awesome, from a Sales to commissioning system

Two years plus and loving it.

Going on over two years with our system and it has been great and far exceeded expectations!! Haven’t had to pay for electricity for two years plus. Only pay the monthly minimum connection charge and even that gets covered a few months every year with credits for energy produced. EmPower did it all. They were professional timely and great to work with. Can’t say enough good things about Solar and Empower

Great experience

I met with 4 installers before selecting Empower for my system, and it was a great experience from begin to end. Beth was so patient and knowledgeable, she went through multiple design iterations to ensure we got the correct system for our home and our needs. Empower took care of all the paperwork and permits, and installation was smooth and completed in one day. I would highly suggest anyone considering to talk to empower before deciding to go solar or not.

X22 360 Watt Panel

EmPower by SunPower highly recommended, I did a lot of research before decided to go with EmPower by SunPower, their proposal was not the cheaper but I would say they are the best. Great communication, an assigned project manager handling your project from start to finished and let you know every step of the way in progress. The crews that installing the system did an excellent jobs, good workmanship and they not using cheap material. My system commissioned couple days ago, I have sixteen X22 360 watt panel, it produced average 27 kWh/day even its not 100% sunny day, it cover all my daily electric usage with spare to sent back to the grid. Still waiting for final inspection to close out the building Dept permit, according to my project manager it takes approximately a month, will update that when certificate of completion received. It’s too early to say 100% satisfy will update from time to time for a long terms review for the progress of the system reliability and stability of power production.

My every interaction with an Empower employee was positive, professional and friendly. Scott was great. He gave suggestions that was in my best interest. They took all my many questions and was patient with my decision making process. Everything was clear and scheduled very timely. It was a great experience.

Great product and great service

Empower provides SunPower solar panel which is one the the few great major solar panel manufacturers. Empower did an excellent job on the installation. We also choose the option to add a Tesla Powerwall in our system. Dave and Mike from the installation team took extra efforts to fine tuned the settings. We recommend friends to use them as the solar system dealer/installer.

Absolutely awesome

I have been completely satisfied and amazed since getting my panels installed. Everyone who I dealt with at Emower Solar was competent, polite, and helpful. Since the system has been turned on, we have been making a lot of power. It is so cool to see our net meter go backwards during the day.

Best service!

Erik from Empower Solor is a great sales person. He explained to me the solor proframes and he checked me electric bill and suggested us to purchase it instead leasing. He is very knowledgeable about the product he is selling and he is very patient to answer all my questions. He knows what he is selling and does the all the follow up after the before and after contract was signed. I’ll refer him to my friends and clients.

Easy and smooth

The company was a pleasure to work with from sales to installation. The panels are working better than expected thus far and the installation looks great on our house. Couldn't be happier

Well oiled machine!

So we have not had our install yet, however we are extremely excited. So far the process has been great. Kyle Solomon has been knowledgeable, and understanding of a lot of my concerns and questions. It’s a huge investment, but so far I feel it’s well worth. I am still in the early stages but if every continues as planned, it will be like a well oiled machine!

Amazing job start to finish

From the time my salesperson, Erik came over until the last day of the installation (which was only a day and a half), Enpower was amazing. The communication, the knowledge and the service level was simply fantastic. Erik even came over after the installation was complete to check the work and ensure a job well done. I’m very happy I decided to go with Empower over the initial company I almost chose.

Best Choise

From talking to the sales rep to getting the installation this was the easiest company to deal with Sunpower did such a great job on my system. They installed this in like one day and a half(once all permits were approved) and the guys were so nice and helpful it was a pleasure to have them here. The sales person,Scott was awesome and sold me what I needed at a great price and was so knowledgable it was great! If your thinking to go solar, these are the guys to use!!!! I spoke with others and no other company came close to them.Overall , after three months the job was done my electric bills came zero and I have also credit in a bank for the raining/snowing days.My final advice is to use Sunpower with no regrets!
