EmPower Solar - OOB

System install completed 3 days ago and so far, so good. Everything went according to plan with the Empower team helping and communicating every step of the way. The experience was definitely pain and stress free.

Excellent experience from start to finish

Empower solar finished the installation of our solar system to power our house a couple of weeks ago and the whole process was excellent from start to finish. Georgia, our sales rep., was very knowledgeable and not pushy, giving us the space to explore all our options and come to the conclusion that Empower Solar was the right choice for us. Their price was the best of the companies with a solid reputation and they also proved to be very professional and 100% reliable. Once we signed the contract things went very smoothly and the permit and installation was done in a shorter time frame than originally anticipated. The installation itself was fast and done very professionally. The crew answered all my questions and was accommodating to our requests for where to put cables and tubes. The system came online on the same day when the installation was completed and has been powering our home with no trouble ever since. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Empower Solar for anyone thinking of going solar in the NYC area.

Nothing but the best

EmPower was nothing but excellent in every aspect of my having gone solar. My sales representative/department provided answers to any and all questions I had about moving to solar and what was involved each step of the way. She was also very flexible, patient, and understanding and stayed with me as a changed my mind on various parts of the project. In addition, my project manager kept in touch with me and updated me during each step of review, approval, and scheduling the installation. The best part of it all was that the installation went smoothly and quickly. The complete system was up in less than two days and actually running (producing electricity) midway through the second day of installation. Empower handled the entire design, permitting, and town review process from beginning to end. Very important to know is that their components, from the panels themselves to the support structure or perhaps the best on the market and, best of all, the system works exactly as described and promised. It’s a beautiful beautiful thing to see these panels run my house and build up credits just about every day since it’s been installed. I highly recommend EmPower as the company to consider for your solar installation. The payback in my case will be between six and seven years at the most.

I am glad that I chose Empower to go solar! The team just made everything so easy and smooth! It was not an easy work to go solar for my house due to the irregular shape of the roof with a lot skylight windows and the trenching work to put more panels to my garage as well. The empower team was very thorough and very responsible for every work! The foreman and workers are very professional and friendly. I definitely recommend empower with 5 stars!

All I can say is WOW!

Empower Solar, All I can say is WOW!!! I was so impressed with the professionalism of the people that I was involved with. Starting with Matt who answered every phone call explained the process in detail. Then Anthony assessed the job and checked every detail. Installation day came and Burt introduced himself and his crew (Bert (foreman), John, Tommy, Frank, Jazbir) to me. They all made me very comfortable working in and outside my house. Burt took charge and the crew went to work and they worked safely like a well oiled machine. Burt and his crew finished the job in 1 day, very impressive, cleaned after themselves with no damage. Burt went over the whole job with me, to install the empower monitoring app so I can see the savings. I would recommend EmPower Solar to anyone I know! Great job to everyone involved including Raphaelly, who educated me in going green, saving money and adding equity to my house. A totally wonderful experience, thank you all!! Michael Coen

Patience rewarded!

Empower was an attentive and responsive partner. Although the supply chain issues from the pandemic slowed things down, the installation of the solar panels proceeded quickly with the installation team being friendly and very experienced and we are helping power the grid! I look forward to our batteries arriving next.

Amazing

The entire process was amazing from Corey to Anthony to Kevin, everyone worked so well together and the crew yesterday and today was absolutely amazing. They works fast and cleaned up, they were polite and thorough. I am so pleased with the process and the outcome! Would recommend everyone to make a call and check them out! They were interested in what was best for us not what best for their wallet!

Second time around, even better

Second time we had the pleasure of working with Empower, they were one of the first calls I made to check on the solar viability as we looked at our new house. Fast forward a few months and the panels are up and running and loving them. We used them at our first home back in 2013 for a solar array and for us it was a requirement at the new house. We were able to get a larger array with less panels at the new house thanks to better panels. They are great with communication and designing. They put panels on my parents house and I share their information with anyone that asks, without any hesitation

Excellent teams Company

My experience with Empower Solar is GREAT. From Sales Rep to Project Manager who responded in a professional timely manner. The installation Crews also had the best skill to complete their task on site. Thank you for the services

Empower Solar has a great product and an excellent team!

From the initial sales visit through the installation, the team did a great job. My experience with the Sales team was great from the start. I received excellent and timely responses. Regarding installation, I insisted on running the attic wiring down the basement via an electrical conduit that was not easy to navigate but the Empower Solar team pulled it off! I am looking forward to working with Empower Solar in the future on another solar panel and/or solar battery storage project.

Highly Professional

From start to finish, Empower Solar, delivered a high level of professionalism at their craft. Thank You.

Excellent experience!!! Most organized company . What a pleasure

Highly recommended

EmPower is Excellent to have such a great employee.

I chose Empower Solar through friends and relatives recommendations. I want to thank Mathew Brill and Anthony Dileo and their admirative team, they are professional and responsive to my questions. I would like to give special thanks to Collins, Steve and his crews for their hard works. They finished their installation way earlier than the time it was given. The job is nicely done. I would recommend EmPower Solar to friends and families because of these amazing people.

Very impressed

I just had a 13kW system installed by EmPower. I was extremely impressed with the entire process from start to finish- sales, planning, and the installation itself. Everything was incredibly streamlined. I shouldn't have mentioned the "planning" stage because I literally don't think I did anything at all. Everyone was very helpful, took their time explaining the nitty gritty details. Overall it was a great experience and I'm very happy with the system. I also signed up for their new community solar project in Selden, so when I'm not powered by my Empower solar system, I'll be getting power from community solar.

Very professional

They had the right price and they use there own equipment and installers

We had such a great experience with this company

We had such a great experience with this company. Our neighbor used them and sent us the recommendation. From sales, to project management to install everyone was super professional and as excited about our project as we were. NYC/ConEd isn't the quickest with permits, sadly it just is the deal, our project manager keep checking in and letting us know we weren't forgotten. I have no doubt they were doing everything they could to keep things in motion with the city which is hard during a pandemic. We got installed weeks earlier than expected. The panels got turned on today and it's really amazing to look at the app and see we are already using less energy than we are producing. Totally recommend them.

Empower Solar is great

I'm really happy with Empower Solar from the start with the sales team, through to the end with the project management team and the installation crew. They use SunPower panels, which are some of the best panels out there. We installed a 13.5 kW system with Powerwall backup. Running great so far. I also had them upgrade the electric capacity of my home. Really professional work all around.

Great job

Empower Solar did a great job installing 40 solar panels on my home here in Amagansett NY.

Empower Solar: a great system and company

Empower installed our solar system (21 panels) 2 1/2 years ago (May 2018). After the site inspection and design were all completed and the contract signed, the installation was completed in 1 (long) day. Kudos to their expert team of installers! It has performed flawlessly since that time and delivered, to date (January 2021), 107% of our energy usage! Late this fall 2020 we passed the 20,000 KWH mark! Last May (2020), as we were entering the air-conditioning season, our production stood at almost 120% of usage. We couldn't be more pleased. If anyone has any questions about solar in general, or Empower in particular, we are happy to share our experience. Contact Empower directly and they will enable you to get in touch with us. BTW: this wasn't our first experience with solar: we had it for ~15 years in Lexington, MA, before we moved to Westchester. It has been a great ride, but even better, and more rewarding, the second time around. Michael Kaplan

Top Notch Professionalism and Craftsmanship

We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Empower. From our sales advisor, Kyle Solomon, to our project manager, Byron Johnson, and the entire installation crew, everything was absolutely seamless and professional. We were in constant communication with frequent updates so we always felt in the loop. An installation which was scheduled to be completed a month or two into the new year, was performed prior to year’s end! We scouted three other major solar companies, but ultimately Empower was the company to go with. The other reviews you read about this company are spot on. It seems hard to believe, and I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but I truly believe in Empower and their vision and want to see them thrive!

Knowledgeable? Professional and Curteous.

Strongly recommended. Our sales person Scott Mc Donnell was very knowledgeable about his product and able t make us an offer we “couldn’t refuse” with rebates and 0 percent financing. Installation team worked with us to select a day that was convenient for us, and was able to have the whole system installed in just over a day. The project Manager Byron Johnson came to the house at 6:30 am and stayed past 6:30 pm to make sure that an issue we had with our FIOS internet was resolved. It should be noted that when we were considering a Geothermal Hear pump system all the installers (engineers) recommended Sun Power panels- the only panels installed by Em Power, and had them installed in their homes. This says a lot about the product. I did my own research and found them to be the best panels on the market. At a time when the current Covid situation is having me working from home and my son distance learning, so we are using more power by default, we are generating more than 100 percent of our power needs with Solar Energy . And Have been happy with our monthly payment and PSEG bill. And making our small contribution to a reduction in greenhouse gasses.

Great Company

EmPower solar is a great company to work with, from my first meeting with them to the commissioning of my system they were nothing short of professionalism. There engineering and install team are courteous and professional , answered all my questions and concerns.

The Best

Can't say enough good things about this company....they run top notch from top to bottom...delivered on all promises...diligent, professional, neat...they install top quality panels and make them blend into your roof seemlessly...look no further for your solar installer

Amazing

I had the pleasure of dealing with EmPower through a friend. I cannot say enough how impressed I am with the levels of service we received from start to finish. Every single person from sales to survey to ops to project management to accounting to installation treated us as if we were the only thing they had to deal with. The installers took 1 day to get in and out. Amazing

Excellent service and great people

2 of my family members and I have dealt with Empower, a great company and great people. Kevin was absolutely wonderfu, professionall and great attitude when installing the system. Overall a great experience.
