I've signed up with John Medina, who is from elevation Solar! He is a fantastic and proactive guy. He provided me with phenomenal customer service, gave a reasonable negotiable price, and found the perfect design for my home. He was extremely knowledgeable in providing technical details and models of solar panels. He is understanding and would look for, no worse than, the best for his customers. Thank you John, for helping me make one of the most important decisons for my house feel like a piece of cake.

The Highest Recommendation

I was highly impressed with the entire Elevation Solar team and strongly endorse them for your solar project. From planning to installation to activation, the Elevation team was communicative and transparent. They handled the process of getting permits, HOA approval, and inspections. My system was installed within 2 weeks of signing the agreement. I would like to give a shoutout to my sales consultant, Cam. He was prompt to reply day or night by text, email, or phone call to answer all my questions. Cam was very knowledgeable on many different inverters and panels to give his professional opinion to meet the energy needs of my home. I was dumbfounded that the finance team sent an invoice for the installation before the installation was completed. I'm used to the common practice of paying for a service after it's done. However, they were reasonable to accept the payment after installation. Speaking of installation, the crew was expected to arrive between 6am - 9am but arrived at 11:30am. As a result, the installation carried over into the next day. All-in-all, no complaints because the system was perfectly installed.

I should have gone elsewhere

I just want to say off the bat- I haven’t actually gotten my system installed yet. I’m sure the installation itself will go smoothly, as our insulation upgrades did. Right from the beginning my sales rep was polite, professional, and educational. So because if this I felt good. But I told him I would follow up with him after speaking with my partner and specifically asked he not follow up with me. Which he didn’t listen to. He followed up almost immediately. And again. I had to remind him that I asked him not to for which he apologized. And chose again to follow up. While some people may not mind this, for me it’s a red flag. My original quote was outrageous! Had I not done more research I would have paid TWICE what I’m paying, which after more research I have found, is still high. Then the design team, designed a layout that put a quarter of my panels on a northwest (roughly) side of my roof. Um okay. Knowing they will work less efficiently. Why would I pay for panels to be placed where they won’t work? What am I going to do with 5 wasted panels? Why would that design pass your guidelines? I had to object and insist they redesign it and find a way to make it work. Interestingly enough, they did. So why didn’t they try that design to start?! HUGE red flag! Why would they even feel comfortable selling that design knowing it will not be enough? Now let’s talk customer service. My customer concierge was prompt with her pitch that she will be my go to (as was my sales person) and was polite and professional. But then I stopped hearing from her. We’ve been waiting for the permit to go thru. Which I found out actually got approved on 9/11 according to the paperwork on my house. I texted asking for a follow up and heard nothing. So I called today to be told ‘it just went thru’ and they will call to schedule the install. Then my concierge called back to let me know they have been waiting on us to sign paperwork that was sent a month ago to a spam folder. Are you serious?! No one followed up about the loan paperwork?! No one told us anything until I called to see what was the delay, and now I’m being blamed for the hold up. It’s true the email was there, but no one thought to call, text, or email a follow up, for a month? I should have paid the $1500 penalty and gone with another company. The best part is, after all that, I finally got a reply to my text message letting me know if I had text them they were having issues and not receiving messages and to call with questions. So I’m going to get this system installed. Btw its a 7.4 system and I’m paying $23k. And I’m going to love having solar and I’m going to pray I don’t need any customer service from them for a long time.

Helpful Staff

From the startvthere was open communication and their staff is very helpful. Kasey was great as the point of contact and Tuesday the sales reps did great as well.

SHOULD HAVE DONE MY HOMEWORK FIRST

This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. Once my solar was installed (6 months) activated and they got my $60,000 cash, I no longer mattered to them. They do not respond to phone calls, emails or texts. They promise service and never show up. My system worked well for 2 months, and now I am receiving large bills for electricity in July and August. I don't believe they are monitoring as promised. The last time someone was here, they said they would be back in one week to move or replace 4 panels that are consistently underproducing. That was May 2 and they never came back. I truly regret my decision. Their advertising is fraudulent; they do not care about their customers, at least not this one. After threatening a lawsuit, I received a call today saying there would be a technician here in another week. I had a wonderful experience with solar in California for 12 years. A technician was needed only twice in that whole time and they were there within 24 hours. Elevation has a lot to learn about efficiency, integrity and ethics. I am sad and angry that I have been treated this way.

Excellent Service

Tyler was well-prepared and knowledgeable, and very supportive. The installation crew did an excellent job. They knew their business, were courteous, and answered our questions. They did a thorough job of cleaning up when they were finished.

Elevation solar panel experience

Overall Elevation Solar provided good service. They stayed in communication with us to let us know what was happening in the different phases of having our panels installed. From our initial meeting to getting permits to turning the panels om I knew what was happening. I will say when the panels were delivered to our residence my wife and I had to unload the panels as there was no one present to unload from the truck. This was a big issue to me as I should not have had to unload my own panels. other than this one issue was a good experience.

Trey from sales was very informational and was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly which greatly helped in making my decision to go with Elevation

Overall ok experience

The guy that came to sell me the solar panels was very good at explain everything to me and the process. They came about a couple weeks later to improve the insulation in my house and seal up all the duct work. The guys were very nice, did a good job, and explained everything they did. I did receive emails to sign off on the plans and the contract. After that I didn’t hear anything for about 3-4 weeks. I did get a text asking for more information about our electricity company and account number. I didn’t hear anything back for another two week until I had to reach out to the company for install. They called be back a couple days later just to confirm dates for install. They came one day and drop off the equipment and came the next day for install. Living in Arizona I expected them to show up early but it would of been nice to know a time so I can be up instead of being woken up at 5am. The installers were very nice and did a good job at explaining everything to me. They showed me everything I need to do when SRP comes out to install the meter. So over all my experience was good just wish there was more communication on the process going on instead of me having to reach out to get more info.

Great company from start to finish

Kept us informed from the start of the jog until it was finished. Answered all our questions, very knowledgeable and personable. Would definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

Solar installation

The installation team showed up on time and did a wonderful job with installation! They did not install the bird netting around the bottom as promised. There was great communication from the sales side of things and then months of no communication. Shelly was amazing and answered all my questions, but from there the communication dropped off!

Add to system

I contacted Solar Elevation when I wanted to add additional panels to my system and was very pleased with their performance. They kept me updated as to the progress, status, and even issues encountered that might delay the installation. I appreciated this and their excellent attention to customer service and would highly recommend them!

Impressed So Far

We started the process of going solar as the construction of our new home was coming to an end. After consulting multiple solar companies we decided to go with Elevation after being impressed with the knowledge of our sales rep. Even though we have not yet moved into the house, Elevation has been very proactive in working to finalize the designs so that we can move forward after move in. If this is a sign for how the rest of the process will turn out we will be content in knowing we made the right choice.
