The right choice

As long as it works I’m happy! I appreciate that they keep an eye on the system remotely & the technology seemed it was up to par. We consulted with some neighbors that had solar for a year or two with Affordable so that’s why we chose them and everyone around here in Bradenton has loved working with them.

Impressed with how quick everything went. Took us about two months, even LCEC got out her quickly which was nice. Affordable gave us an excellent price for bundling the new roof with solar panels, added bonus for having the Tesla solar products.

I am writing this review to compliment Affordable Solar for a very professional Solar presentation by their representative Dana Janssen of the Clearwater office. He explained everything about the Solar system and answered all of my questions. I would strongly recommend that you consider Affordable Solar if your thinking about a Solar system for your home.

We’re fortunate enough to be able to put in a ground-mounted system. The 28 panels are angled perfectly to soak up the sun all day long and helped bring down the number panels needed. Their software was able to calculate exactly how much the panel would produce and the optimal angle to put them at. The city rejected on the first inspection but Affordable was quick to get everything in order the second time around so that didn’t sow us down too bad. Overall excellent solar experience.

They made it super affordable! Their pricing was much more competitive for my 16 panels than other companies could offer. Hussam stood out from other companies reps because he never pestered us when we were looking around at options. Once we signed he was always responsive and involved in our process.

No trouble

Streamline operation. Angel is an all star solar seller! Some family has worked with Affordable Solar Roof & Air and year or two ago and after seeing that their bill truly got wiped out. Their team made sure we didn’t have any worries, just told us what to expect and when to sign docs.

I tried getter solar with a company I didn’t look much into, they ended up going out of business before my project was completed. I’m very glad I found Affordable the second time around and they were able to fix all the prior company’s mistakes and partial installation. No issues whatsoever with Affordable and glad to see they’ve been in business over 10 years.

Great service

Excellent experience having Spencer come and show us the app and make sure everything was running. Shout out to our salesman Max for always sorting out any issues we brought up, same for Rae in the office- she knows how to get projects moving! Very knowledgeable, same goes for their team in the office. I would recommend Affordable Solar to have an Orlando office with all the business they do over here!

Roof and solar

I was in the market for a new roof but decided it was a good time for Solar when the salesman gave me the numbers for bundling it all. Their reviews online were solid for both the Solar and roofing which was a big plus. Roof went up in less than a month & they got started on solar the very same week when that was wrapped. 10/10 would recommend adding in solar if you’re in the market for a new roof, especially if you can choose Affordable for the job.

First in the neighborhood

We’re the first property in our neighborhood to get Solar panels so naturally our HOA slowed us down a little bit with permitting since it had never been done before. We thought we had approval when they did not yet give us the proper go ahead, but once we resolved that everything went great. We hope to inspire the rest of the community to save money with us. The crew that came out cleaned up very well after themselves, and it only took them about 5 hours to get everything hooked up and wired. Wyatt came out the same day as a different representative had already been here, Wyatt got our business because he made sure to talk in simple terms and make us fully understand the benefits of signing with Affordable Solar. Affordable Solar also offered a great payment plan that Solar significantly less than our energy bill. All in all excellent company and experience!!

Added more panels 10 years later

About 10 years ago we got a solar system but it’s become outdated or not up to what we needed. We needed only 21 panels this time around and it’s amazing how much the technology has improved over the years. I love being able to check all the panels over my computer, as long as my bill goes away and I’m saving big bucks we’re golden. Their installers amazed me with their efficiency especially in the summer heat.

Pleased with their installers always being punctual, their technician came out the same day I got my permission from the power company to make sure everything was working properly. My son is a gamer and draws lots of electricity, he’ll be thrilled that we don’t have to yell at him about his power drawl anymore! Additionally, it’s a sweet bonus that they’re a roofing company in case I need to replace anything a few years from now.

Happy to help the planet

Found the experience working with Affordable to be much easier than expected. Also I’m impressed with how much energy we’re able to generate with 17 panels. I’m happy to be saving money and for whoever has this property down the road!

Excellent customer service, anybody I talked to in the office is extremely helpful, also the technicians that came out took their time to make sure I understood everything to look for on the Enphase app. The bills were getting higher every dang month I’m very happy to finally have a consistent bill.

Under 2 months

Took about 2 months for the project, so right on schedule with what I was hoping. Very friendly people working at Affordable Solar and I felt like I could trust them for the best price without sacrificing quality. I loved not having to worry about anything, their office kept me updated along the way and now here we are soaking up the sun!

Winter Haven solar

We had considered solar on our vacation property for a few years now but never quite wanted to commit. Finding Affordable Solar addressed all our prior concerns and at the beginning of May we began the project. We aren’t near the property and for much of the year we have vacation renters occupying the home. Affordable Solar proved to be very understanding and flexible around our busy schedule, being sure to not disturb guests as much as possible. Our roof has many angles so fitting 50 panels was one of the main concerns, especially hoping not to sacrifice the aesthetics of the house with a bunch of pipes running along the roof. Excellent experience and no headaches working with Affordable Solar Roof and Air!

Glad it was resolved

My experience has been I’d say for the most part pretty good with these guys, I had a delay on permitting and that took some time to get sorted out but once that was resolved it all worked out quickly, big thank you to the office ladies for sorting all of it out and getting things back on track. I’m happy with how it was resolved now it’s on to saving on out energy bill which we are already doing!

All under one roof

Ive had a system for about a year now but decided to add an additional 12 panels & this time around I used Affordable Solar Roof and Air. They were much easier to work with and far more trustworthy than our first company. Their technician Spencer helped us sync both Solar systems under the same app & made it much easier to understand everything.

The right installers

We had a few young guys come by trying to sell solar a few moths ago but they didn’t know their stuff. However that got us interested in installing panels so that’s how we found Affordable Solar Roof and Air. The first people that came by seemed interested in the sale rather than helping us save money. Angel F from Affordable was the real deal, when she met with us she was here for over 2 hours making sure all of our questions were answered and that we’d be saving as much as possible. Excellent experience and I’d be happy to recommend anyone to them, especially customers of Angel F.

Right on schedule

Affordable Solar Roof & Air lived up to my high expectations. Everything I heard from my neighbors, read online, about them being easy to work with was true. My panels were turned on in about 2 months- which was perfect because I told them I’d be going out of town and wanted it done before I left & they made sure to get here the same day I got my permission from the power company! My system is 29 panels getting nothing but direct sunlight all day long.

Punta Gorda

We spend about half of our year down in Punta Gorda so our energy usage allowed us to only need 24 panels. Seems like everyone around the neighborhood has been adding panels and we hadn’t heard any regrets about making the switch. Affordable Solar worked with at least 4 of our neighbors & we hope to refer even more of the community! Solar energy is the wave of the future and I’m excited to see such a young company excelling. Best Company Ever!

Affordable Solar, Roof, and Air (ASRA) is by far the best company I have ever worked with on a project this size. They installed a new roof and solar for me. From the very beginning, I was constantly kept apprised of every step of the project. Anytime I had a question, all I had to do was make a phone call. If someone did not answer, I was called back, texted, or emailed an answer within 10 minutes. All of the personnel involved in my project from the CEO through the installers and personnel manning the office phones were fantastic. The icing on the cake was that their price was about $10,000 lower than any other bids that I got. Special shout out to Mindy, Max, Trevor, Spencer, and team six. Oh, and I almost forgot, they put an app on your phone so you can watch your project as it goes through the entire process, so you never have to wonder what is going to happen next. I highly recommend ASRA… they roll like a well oiled machine!

Sleek panels

No headaches when getting panels installed by Affordable Solar Roof & Air. Excellent work by the install crew- panels look great on the roof. I had a little bit of trouble figuring out all the forms that were needed from the power company but when that was down we got going quickly.

Installed it great

We appreciate the patience and non pressure during our initial contact about potentially getting solar with affordable, it was a nice experience not feeling that pressure like they were out to get you, the rep was very calm and remained respectful and polite even though we didn’t go through with it at first we actually had them come back out a second time to go over everything and then decided it was a good. The process was right on point with how it was described and timeline was around 2 months. We had 1 delay with permitting that was quickly turned around resubmitted and passed. I tip my hat to the quick response from affordable to make sure that was addressed as soon as possible.
