Affordable Solar Roof & Air

Powerwall 3

We have been renovating our lake house and decided looking into solar backup would be a smart move while all the other projects are going on. The Tesla Powerwall checked all the boxes & Christian L gave us an excellent price. Thrilled that all this took two and a half months!

Proceed With Caution!

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I am so livid right now that I cannot see straight. This company came to my house and damaged SEVERAL tile on my roof. When I called to report it, they did send someone out to look. THAT WAS 3-4 weeks ago. No-one has reached out or been back to the house. They also did not even crawl in the attic to make sure there was no leaking. This was a brand new build not even 8 months old, and the roof is possibly damaged. I cannot call the builder because they will say the roof is not covered due to the Solar Company; understandably so. If you cherish your home, please do your research and consider before you have this company damaging your home. Horrible. As far as the system goes; yes it works perfectly and the sales guy was wonderful, but it gets all cancelled out by the poor job done by the install team, and slow response from the OPERATIONS team. Stay away!

My next door neighbor worked with Affordable and was very pleased with their company. I still got quotes from two other companies but those were both $5,000-$10,000 more than Affordable offered. They lived up to their namesake and didn't sacrifice quality.

Our energy bill isn’t terrible but it sure keeps going up so we decided to hear the sales pitch when Affordable Solar came by. We only needed 14 panels to cover all of our usage and the price for that made good sense and was much cheaper than our bill. I appreciate how nice all their installers were when they put the panels on the roof. No complaints!

Savings

They made it super easy and clear getting started with solar panels, I initially was on the fence about converting over to solar energy but once I went over the numbers and understood the main benefits and where I could save I ultimately decided it was worth it, they worked quickly handling almost all the work for me I only had to sign a couple of things and next thing I know it was on my roof and running, they were very friendly along the way often times helping me with whatever questions or problems I had had. They offered the best price out of any other company I spoke to which is another reason why I went with them. The system is working well and I have no complaints at this time it’s helping me save a lot of my energy bill especially with the summer coming up, perfect timing.

Faster than expected

Everything was boom boom boom, we started the project the 15th of last month and it’s already going! Very happy with the timeline and work done by Affordable Solar roof & Air. We had another company come after we met with Affordable and all they tried to do was talk down rather than offer us a better deal. Peter was a genuine representative and truly wanted to help us save money and took time to answer any and all questions.

Clearwater Solar

Thrilled to have it going! Got our PTO and they came out to turn it on same day. We had solar at our old house and liked it so we knew adding panels down in Florida would save us even more money. Christian is an amazing sales representative, if you get the chance to work with him you’re in good hands! Also great to support a local Clearwater company any chance we can.

Got a Q cell solar system installed by Affordable Solar roof & Air. Easy company to work with and they were on top of it making sure the system got turned on as quickly as possible. Timeline was around a month and a half from signing. Max was always quick to respond if I had questions and let me know anytime I needed to provide information or fill out a form. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Affordable to any neighbors, I had Affordable come and do a presentation for my entire community.

Pleased to now have solar panels on my home from affordable solar, we made the right choice going with them. They impressed us the most out of any other company. The work they do was smooth, fast and efficient if I had to describe it. A lot easier than we thought it would be to go solar. The reason we went solar was to get rid of our energy bill that was close to $500 a month in the summer.

Preventing for storms

A little delay on our project put us about a month behind schedule, that was our only concern with it, other than that everything else was fine. Now that it is up and running we are happy with our new powerwall system. Our rep Danny was informative in making sure we had a good understanding of everything.

Solar power

Just a fantastic experience all the way through. Communication was fantastic and the job itself was very professional.

Absolutely amazed with how responsive Max has been. All throughout this process Max responded within 30 minutes of me reaching out. Their installers were a great group of guys too, they worked out here in the heat and got everything on the roof in one day. Our property is a new addition and the permitting with that was the only thing slowing us down. Very excited to offer our usage and start saving! Big thanks to Max for everything he did.

Solar new

Very happy with the way affordable worked with us, not very tech savvy and didn't know too much of how solar worked just heard of it, max was very helpful in breaking it down to us and showing us where and how'd we save on our bill. System is doing well

Fantastic! No more $400 electric bill and the panels cost a lot less than I thought, very happy with the savings so far. I also like the look of the Tesla inverters on the house, lots of the time solar systems look ugly on the side. Max was an amazing salesman too if you get the chance to work with him!

I initially met with Affordable 3 years ago but didn’t know if I wanted Solar at the time. I gave them a call now that I’ve seen how many people in my community are happy with their systems. Max has been amazing, always kept me informed. Installers were in and out did a great job and were very personable.

Solar efficient

We live in a duplex so I thought that might make it difficult to get panels installed but didn’t run into any trouble. It also meant we only need 12 panels to cover our usage! Affordable Solar Roof & Air gave us a great price bundling our new roof and panels in a cash deal. Jon H did an excellent job trying to expedite and stay on top of our project any chance he could.

Angel F and Affordable have been absolutely wonderful. I thought Solar seemed like a no brainer considering how much sun we get down in Naples; along with how the bill seems to go up every month. Happy with the price for the 38 panel system.

I was amazed that it only took a team of two to get 28 panels up on the roof, they got it done in one day & panels look great on the tile roof. Only took a week or two for the power company to get the meter changed out and I’ve had it running for a few days now. Production has been great, over 2.6kw per panel when the sun was hitting them with no clouds. So far very happy with the system and company.

Were snowbirds that are gone the majority of the year. We only needed 11 panels to cover our usage & being able to lease the panels made it an exciting opportunity. I’m excited to see how much credit we’ll build up the months we’re not here. Our timeline fell right about 2 to 2 and a half months & I was impressed with the work from the installers and responsiveness from their team in the office.

Impressive results

Definitely impressed with affordable solar!! They worked hard and quickly made things happen for us. It was a pleasure working with Max, Michael and those who contributed to our project as well. The installers were great did a good job and were meticulous with their work. The price was fair compared to quotes we have received. 3/12/25

Great

Affordable met all my needs when it came to me wanting a solar system, the communication was good, the price was fair, the timeline was good, and the installation was good. There was a little mishap with the rep and we did have to go back and forth a little to resolve a matter but they did eventually fix that for me and make things right. All in all I feel confident with the system they installed and how it’s going to produce and save me from my high energy bill. Looking forward to the future of our now green energy.

The most time consuming part of the project was getting the system cleared with the HOA. Our property is a duplex as well which made it a little more challenging to run the cables from the meter. Everything looks great wiring wise, all the piping is well hidden through the attic and I’m excited to not be paying over 200 for my electric bill anymore.

Recommend from neighbor

Went with affordable solar because my neighbor down the street used them and recommended them as he had a good experience with them. I had the pleasure of working with Peter, he did a good job sainting contact with me and giving me all the updates. The process was just under 2 months I couldn’t believe how quick it went from contract signed to panels running and producing very impressed there. The price was very reasonable and the system size seems to be on point for what I need. For my first time going solar I’m happy with how it turned out and will be recommending affordable as well.

Good Services

we had a marvelous experience with them highly recommended...!

Excellent service

Great communication from the office and team members that worked on site. Satisfied with how smoothly everything went, we were away for some of the project but it was easy enough to handle most everything online. Every step of the way has inspired confidence in Affordable Solar Roof & Air.
