Affordable Solar Roof & Air

Every step of the way I was impressed with Affordable. No problem from signing to activation. As soon as my meter got swapped they were out here for activation and Enphase monitoring setup. Wouldn’t hesitate to tell my neighbors, some of them went with other companies and started before me but haven’t even been activated yet.

Duke energy was super difficult to move along. They were in no hurry to help the switch to solar so be prepared for that. As far as Affordable Solar they have been exceptional. I got a 36 panel system installed & the production should put me at about 103% of my usage. My salesperson was very well versed in the solar and able to adequately answer my return on investment questions. The interconnection lady that came out made Duke far less of a headache so I appreciate her handling that for me.

My experience with Affordable went swimmingly. I didn’t have to push and pull them to get them to finish on time. I have spotty wifi throughout the house and I appreciate all the effort they put into getting my Enphase system connected over a network extender. Id be happy to tell my neighbors to go with Affordable.

I expected the process to be quicker but we got stuck waiting for the power company to come out and had to keep bugging them. Affordable was the first company I contacted & I was immediately sold by Julian. I am satisfied with the work Affordable did and plan on adding at least six more panels down the road now to get even more out of them system.

Affordable Solar Roofing & Air is highly recommend!

We shopped around and met with six companies in Texas for our whole home solar system before choosing Affordable Solar Roofing & Air. The sales team at Affordable was very knowledgeable and their price was competitive as well. The project was explained in detail of what steps we should expect and the estimated timeline. The project took less than four weeks from signing the contract to producing power which is extraordinary. The bonus for us is the solar system is producing more power than estimates! We are extremely happy with our solar system and highly recommend Affordable Solar Roofing & Air.

All my 30 panels are south facing with no shade and I’ve been producing almost 2.5kwh per panel and banking 73kwh on sunny days. I’m thrilled with the efficiency so far and how Affordable conducted themselves when I chose to go with them. Chris, our sales rep always checked in on us and got our project prioritized every step of the way so we never fell behind schedule.

We’ve been waiting for FPL to swap our meter for a few weeks but that finally got hooked up & Affordable came out ASAP to get the system operational. I appreciate the exit interview that straightened out the additional questions and walked me through the app. I went down a rabbit hole of research into Affordable and I was confident that they were a trustworthy company and had been around long enough to prove themselves. A few of my neighbors went with them as well and express positive feedback.

Y project was completed in a timely manor. I got the roof done by Affordable as well, one note is the they didn’t put a tarp over the pool and I got lots of roof debris that needed to be cleaned out. Other than that they cleaned up the yard nicely and I’ve been happy with the production so far; some panels have been making 2.5kwh a day. My sales guy Peter was very nice, he noted immediately that my house was perfect since it was south facing and made sure I was kept on schedule the whole time.

Everything went to my expectations. I was away on holiday for much of the project and got to come home to a completed solar house. Happy with my production so far as well.

Ten out of ten

Excellent work from everyone ! I gave about four of my neighbors all the information for affordable I want the whole neighborhood to runoff these great panels. My 36 panels are operating flawlessly and the whole process has been a dream !

I shopped around and met with four companies for my panels. The sales team at Affordable stood out from the others, as well as the price. He impressed me with the sales knowledge and the price was right.. Happy with the work they did & would recommend to others that they opt for the consumption meter because it makes the Enphase app much more comprehensive.

Start to finish, smooth sailing. Sometimes we were unsure about what stage in the process there was never anything that slowed us down and it took even less time than we expected. I’m very happy with Affordable and glad to work with a local company.

Affordable being a roofing company along with solar was the big selling point. Now that the roof is redone and the panels are good for 25 years we can be assured that it will last. Affordable had been in business for over 10 years so I knew they were more trustworthy than the other options. Also, went with the battery backup system so that I won’t have to go running extension cords and fueling the generators during a storm.

Technician visit

Blake with Affordable solar came to check on my newly installed system. Some of the movie invertors are not functioning properly. He talked with his boss and they assured me that problem will be fixed by next week

No questions, no complaints. It’s working and turned on, check back in 25 years and let’s hope it’s the same! Affordable made my life east and bill lower.

No mistakes

More than satisfied with this company. Everything from A-to-Z went off without a hitch. I was in constant communication with not only my sales rep but the women at the office in order to communicate with the power company. I have over 20 panels that are pulling in close to 2 kW each every day. Thank god no more power bills!

I’m pleased with Affordable solar, I was very unhappy with lots of the other solar companies I was considering because of how they tried to mislead me or charge more. Affordable was very concise with their sales offer. When I gave the go ahead they got right to work. Had to wait for Duke but that’s to be expected.

No complaints with Affordable. Good experience throughout & looking forward to keeping track of all the numbers on the app. I recommend the consumption meter so you can compare the production to consumption easily.

I got my AC replaced as a package with the Solar. I was very happy to have that done at once. Putting in the energy efficient unit helped my consumption significantly. Affordable Solar allowed me to take care of the AC in one sweep with the solar install so I didn’t have to go hunting around for multiple companies and wait longer.

Quick installation and services

System has been working to my expectations. Our electric bill was getting out of hand, Affordable got us taken care of quickly despite us being away from the cities. A big selling point was being able to put the panels on a ground mount & expand the system in the future.

Everything was fantastic, I’ve been very excited to switch to solar. Affordable got here quick but I did get stuck waiting for permits for a little. Would’ve liked a little better communication after the meter was swapped. The work and people were outstanding. I talked to 5 different companies, they wanted twice the price and over complicated everything. I’ve already recommended Affordable to friends.

We had a great experience with Affordable Solar. From the first communication they were all professional, answered all of our questions, and overall did a great job with our installation.

Got roof and solar knocked out at the same time. Jeremiah our sales person was very helpful, roofers didn’t mind me asking questions and communicated as best I could’ve hoped along the way. No complaints.

No headaches, I didn’t want installing solar to mean a bunch of hoops or always worrying whether they were working. Affordable made it easy and I like that the panels report on the app if anything goes wrong.
