Affordable Solar Roof & Air

Great experience!

I do not write reviews often, but I had to take a minute to say how pleased I am with my recent experience with Affordable Solar! From my sales guy Neil to Spencer who visited my home today, the entire experience was top notch! I've just completed the install and activation of Solar panels for my home. After many years of declining the offer to get solar, rising electricity cost finally forced me to take a serious look. Affordable Solar really made the process, not only easy, but easy to understand. Neil was thorough and professional. The staff reached out several times during the process, just to let me know how things were going.. The last step was a visit from Spencer who came by to turn on the panels and explain the monitoring process. Spencer was prompt, very courteous and explained everything I needed to know. I had a great experience with this company. If you are considering getting solar, I would definitely recommend them.

Definitely would recommend to go with them if you want a quick and simple process. They really did everything for me and made it super simple. Installers were nice and here for 1 day. Cleaned up very well and were super respectful I give it to them for being up on that hot roof. Can’t wait for my energy savings to start coming along soon now that the system was just activated.

I was put onto affordable Solar through my neighbor down the street who recommended I get in contact with them about a solar system because he went through them and had a really good experience so I decided to join him and I can vouch it was worth it in all ways. They are helping me save on my electric cost and saved me from having a headache during the process of doing everything. They had my system up and running in what felt like no time at all really appreciated that because I’ve heard some stories about different companies making you wait forever.

I’m happy with how everything went it was quick and smooth. I liked my sales rep and how they communicated with me through put the whole process. The installers were nice and worked fast. This will be perfect for getting rid of my electric bill.

Michael was nice when coming out and showing me the app and actually turning on my system. Rae from the office was very helpful as well and my sales rep of course. Panels look great on the roof and are running good. Can’t wait to start saving on my bill.

Very happy to have it powered up, easy understand the Enphase app. Spencer came out to walk me through the app and get my WiFi connected with an extender, wouldn’t have been able to do that myself so I appreciate it!

Renovating house, best contractors so far

I got my permission to operate and was so eager to turn it on! Affordable came by a few days after I turned it on and went over all the data with me on Enphase. Production is looking great and I’m super thrilled to have my bill come down. I’m getting lots of work done at the house right now and they have been the easiest contractors to work with. (We’re adding on to the house.)

Definitely would recommend going with these guys they do everything very well they move fast and don’t waste any time getting you going. Super excited for my energy savings. No more high energy bill!!!

USA made panels

Contract signed Early September, permits and install took no time at all so my panels were powered up 10/25! Super happy with Affordable Solar’s commitment to getting my project done on time and working through the bureaucracy of permitting with Sarasota county. Bonus: the panels they sold were made in the USA and they didn’t try to get me to lease panels like some other companies…

All around I think it was a real nice experience. Not only are they very local to me and that was a deciding factor but they also were really good with everything. It all flew by, from when the contract was signed to when the panels were operational it was all under 2 months which is exactly what I wanted. They were clean and worked fast. Office was on top of everything paper work permits inspections. Their final tech came out and showed me the app which I can monitor the production down to the individual panel. Will be showing whenever people ask how it is doing.

Did great on my system. They came out to show me the app once it was installed it’s been running great since super nice and satisfied.

Everything was good and they were quick from start to finish. Had Solar done before by a different company in a different state and it was nothing like this experience way better with affordable.

Have been looking for a replacement for my high electric bill and decided to go with solar. Was looking at various companies and what they had to offer. I was set on affordable after them showing me exactly what I was looking for and they came through and delivered on exactly that. The install was quick and seamless and wasn’t too long after that the inspection was done and the system was on a running. Very impressed.

Affordable Solar’s installers handled my metal roof with no problem. No tiles were broken off and the panels were secured properly. I’m thoroughly satisfied with their work & have been happy to recommend Affordable Solar Roof & Air to all my neighbors that have walked by and asked about our system. After hurricane Ian we had a serious labor shortage when looking to getting repairs done- I was relieved when I partnered with them.

Every time I had a question about the system or Enphase app they were able to help me in easy to understand terms. Also excellent installers, anytime people had to come out to the house they made sure I was available and kept me updated if plans changed at all.

Phenomenal job done by affordable on my solar system. Loved how everything went and how fast it was start to finish. Excited to start saving on my energy bill. The app is useful for monitoring productivity. The office people were nice as well as all the installers and techs who came out. If you are on the edge of deciding to go solar definitely do it with them.

I think they did a great job and were very professional. Really like how the system came out and I’m not seeable from the street which a nice touch. Very satisfied. Michael was sweet, as well as my sales rep and everyone who was at my home.

Flawless solar planning and installation

I found Affordable Solar Roof & Air by using a website which let me compare 5 different companies for the exact same configuration. I decided for ASRA not only for the best price but my prime PoC Jared Barkley was knowledgeable on all subjects and questions and also realistic on the production capacity of my solar installation, where others had promised more for the same system. They took care of all permits and planning in due time. After my desired solar panels became not available in Texas they offered me a slightly better product for the same price; even with that delay we were done in 3 1/2 months. The installation team showed up around 10:00 a.m. and completed the job for a 14 kWh system before sunset in January; my neighbor was stunned. Except for one minor adjustment I did not need to call the company again, and it has been performing as predicted for more than 8 months now.

I’m happy with my decision to go with affordable I feel like they hit all my needs and definitely went above and behind considering how fast they got my system installed up and running as I was expecting from them and was the main reason I chose them over other similar companies.

Good for renting property

Quick and easy, I got referred by a coworker who had great things to say about the company. I’m planning on renting out my place so the solar will help entice tenants & make my life easier.

Had some nervousness wondering if I made a good decision after locking in but that passed quickly after reassurance from looking online and talking to the company more. They have excellent policies and warranties for the panels which gave me peace of mind. Affordable was very patient, never pushed me into solar. We had two companies scheduled to give estimates; Affordable was the first one and we didn’t even bother meeting with the second they were so good.

Excellent experience working with them. Impressive sales team that knows their stuff and installers were top notch. Happy to get a walkthrough of the app and have them go over any remaining questions. Hope my neighbors join us too.

Not too fond of computers but they have made it easy for both technical people and non technical people. They can see the panels production every day & know if anything needs to be fixed so I like that peace of mind.

10’s across the board. As far as I’m concerned Affordable Solar is the best choice across all of Florida. Telling my whole neighborhood to join the solar movement!

Been around for years

I appreciate the professionalism of their employees. I installed a 62 panel system with them, if you’re getting a system of that size I’d highly recommend going with a company that’s handled thousands of installations and been in business as long as Affordable Solar Roof & Air.
