Affordable Solar Roof & Air

I thought the process was easy. We had a hold up with inspections and tier 2 insurance but happy to be through that.

Finally got everything all up and running. We are very excited to be running solar panels on our home. As a team they were really good I think they could have updated us a little more at the office but other than that no serious complaints. We are happy with the install and how it looks very minimal can’t even see it from the street.

Spencer was amazing when he came to finalize everything. He walked us through the app and took a bunch of measurements to help us size the pool heater!

Solar + HVAC install has been great!

After purchasing our home we wanted to add solar and update the HVAC. We chose to go with Affordable based on their ability to do both of these builds, and on the constant communication between their sales, install, and support staff. They have been great to work with, and we are very pleased with the result: a solar system that meets our needs, and a up-to-date high efficiency HVAC system that will be with us for the next two decades.

They did a fantastic job hands down have no regrets going with them. It was a nice experience. Our sales rep was very good as well as all the people I spoke to on the phone.

The product and service they provide to me has been nothing but top notch. We are very happy we went with them and will be recommending to neighbors. Can’t wait to see how much we save now on our energy bill.

Timeline right under 2 months getting them up. Got 29 panels to avoid the tier 2 insurance and wanted to overshoot our estimated usage because we just added a pool heater. All in all great experience.

It’s incredible how new age technology is so advanced. Solar is something I’ve always wanted to get into and this was perfect for me. They offered everything I was looking for and a very fast time frame.

Great experience

I have two properties hooked up with Solar and I’m pleased that both use the Enphase software. I’m out of town a lot of the time so checking the app is crucial to see how production is. Spencer was a friendly guy & always answered my calls and met with me when I was back in town. They got my business through a referral from a good friend who is very particular with who he works with, I can attest that he did his due diligence. It’s great peace of mind that they are also a roofing company in the case another hurricane comes through.

Michael was great with coming out turning on the system and showing us everything with the app as well as answering all of our questions very knowledgeable. The system is very nice everything was nice and smooth. Definitely will be looking forward to the savings!

Happy to have everything said and done, did have to pass inspections a few times but I think that was problems on Dukes side. Their installers were super fast & office was available for calls. Only wish we were able to pass inspection the first time.

Finally decided to go Solar after thinking about it for some time. Absolutely have no regrets with going Solar and we are super excited to get the benefits that go along with it. We thought affordable was great everything they said would happen went exactly that way. Everyone was very respectful knowledgeable and polite. Very clean as well installers were in and out in a day. System didn’t take long at all to be up and operating which was a key factor for us to go with them.

Perfect solution for rising energy prices, it’s really insane how much they continuously rise. Affordable was the perfect company to go with. I’m more than happy with my system and will be recommending.

Bitcoin mining offset by solar

I worked for Lakeland Electric for 25 years so my standards were higher than most. Affordable’s team was excellent. Both Josh my sales representative and their install guys lived up to my standards. I wanted a big system to offset the cost of bitcoin mining, hoping the system will offset both my houses usage and the computers that are mining.

Two houses in same neighborhood

Decided to get solar going for both of our properties. They’re in the same neighborhood and we signed on for both at the same time. Both houses went through the same phases of installation process at pretty much the same time and we received our PTO on the same day. Would’ve been a bummer if one was up and running way before the other so I’m glad that wasn’t the case!

My Duke act t ins indicating the panels are producing more than enough to bring down my bill in the coming months I’ve had about 2 months of the panels being on & so far have exported about 13 net kwh. I’m pleased with the work Affordable did, half my neighborhood switched to solar so I figured that was proof of concept for me. Affordablegot my business because they were the most likeable people that tried to sell me on Solar.

So far so good, Solar was a breeze. Also got my roof insulation down through them which I’m still waiting on but I expect that to be as easy as Solar. Installers were maniacs, got the job done in the rain- very professional and determined. We got referred by our next door neighbor.

Christian was the bomb. He got my business because he was honest, communicative, and never pushy. All communication both over the phone and through the Affordable Solar app was seamless. I always knew what to expect or what I needed to get in order. I hope to convince my neighbors to work with them as well!

24 panel system was installed by Affordable. No holdups for my project on neither their part nor the city of St. Petersburg’s. Satisfied with the communication from the office and the follow up team. Originally we planned to work with a different solar company, after looking over three companies we decided the financing and history Affordable offered made them the best choice.

Happy with Outcome

Interviewed several solar companies. All offered very similar products and we took our time making a decision. However, during our investigative process our salesperson, Sean, answered every question we had about the process from the best panel to use, to the right size for our needs. Sean returned our emails and texts immediately. Once we decided to go with Affordable, the rest of the team kicked in and did a great job. There was one glitch in the process: seems we needed a diagram on a placard stuck to our electrical panels for the county to pass our inspection. This took longer than expected. We were in contact with the office once a week to see if the placard came in and we were getting a little frustrated. We contacted Sean and two days later someone arrived at our house with the required placard. After that, it was our electric company's turn and we were up an running in less than 3 weeks after their site inspection and reprogramming of our smart meter.

We are very excited to be solar powered, Michael was very nice in assisting us with setting up our system then setting us up on the app. I think everything else went really well nothing for me to complain about I’m happy all around with price timeline and what they bring in terms of being able to cover your energy bill. Don’t hesitate to go Solar!

Michael was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when setting us up. Everyone was very nice whoever we spoke to and everyone came out very friendly and nice. The pricing the work the customer service was all on point for us.

Christian my sales rep was very responsive and helpful for me getting going with them. He went over some very good info with us and really made sure to take care of us. With everything that we went over we felt very sure to go with Solar and we did our research on different companies, affordable was definitely the safest quickest option. Really satisfied.

Best place to get solar from without a doubt, they helped me with all my questions and concerns super polite and worked fast to get everything setup and producing.

Would recommend going to them for any solar needs. They moved incredibly fast all around. Impressed with how they held up their end. This is perfect timing considering the continuous rise of energy cost.
