Bad news - but, got lucky!
We did a ground mount system and thought Zenernet was the company to do it..! Signed papers to start work in April of 2021. System was finally turned on in July 2022. Poor communication, false promises, and horrible installation crew. Just got a letter in the mail today that they filed for bankruptcy. Hope we don’t have any warranty issue since they’re gone… but, after reading the reviews, happy that our system is up a running. I’m sorry to hear that so many people got screwed by this company that had rave reviews 3 years ago. Amazing to see and hear how things change so quickly. Good luck to everybody that has been affected - that is a bummer to hear.

Took our money and didn't provide anything
In my mind, these people are crooks. They took our deposit and about a 70% payment and then disappeared. They repeated told us there were problems with the permits, and that was the reason for not installing the system that WE PAID FOR! We filed a complaint with the AZ BBB and the AZ Register of Contractors. At this point, I see no hope for this.

took our money and did nothing.
Zenernet took our payment for installing new solar panels on our home. Now we are unable to contact them through email or phone. Apparently we have lost over $13,000! Very upset. I would give them zero stars if I could.

company gone bad
I started working with Zenernet in 2021 and installation was in June 2022. At the beginning I had one contact person and my calls were always answered timely. As things moved on the customer service became very poor. My system got installed but had problems with Excel Energy and tried to contact Zenernet for help. Unable to contact an inernet search shows Zenernet quietly closed its doors end of October 2022. https://www.leafscore.com › blog › zenernet-closes-its-doors-abandons-customers I have contacted AZ and CO Attorney General's offices.

thieves
We paid >$35,000 for a solar and backup generator system. The system was never installed. Now they won't return phone calls or emails and appear to have closed permanently.

Never showed up for installation
Zenernet took 14,573.60 of our money and gave us an installation date. Never showed up. Never returned phone calls. This is the biggest theft of our money. This is such a robbery of our trust in this company.

Completely ignores contact and fails to finish job
Signed the contract with Zenernet for solar PV only on 6/7/22. Despite two scheduling mishaps on their part where they didn't notify met at all until a fully day after they missed their appointment, they finally installed the system on 8/18/22. Final inspection occurred on 10/14/22. So far, things were rocky, but they got the job done. Everything went downhill after the final inspection occurred. They said that the system was up and running, connected to the electrical grid, but my electrical bill doesn't reflect that. They promised someone would follow up with me to wrap up the entire project and help me access their homeowner portal to see my solar production. After no contact from them, I began contacting them on 10/26/22. Every few days, I would escalate and include more people from their company who had worked on my project--sales, project managers, and installers. Eventually I forwarded my email to 8 staff members who had all previously contacted me and worked with me. No one has responded, even to this day. On 11/7/22, the CEO sends a customer-wide email saying that they're having trouble keeping up with the volume and we should email a generic customer service email, which they promise is being monitored. Of course, after I've emailed that address, no one has responded to this day. No one has any courtesy or respect to even tell me that they're backlogged and when I can expect a response. They've simply ignored all my contact attempts. Even worse is my neighbor who I referred to Zenernet. They stopped contacting him after their house visit and now they're approaching the promised 60-days of installation. Similar to me, my neighbors have received no word from Zenernet. Zenernet took their payment and now is failing to even contact the customer to plan the next step.

Very poor company
The sales and signing contract was fast to get your business. Other than that: 1. Design plan was poor - misspell everywhere 2. Installation - very poor craftmanship. For example, lack of conduit support on the roof, wire touching the roof, did not patch the wall, rubber seal washer was installed out of order 3. Support - they went radio silence after all that. 4. I got a mechanics lien on my house from their supplier 5. During inspection, the contract left. Did not stay to host the inspector - very unprofessional.

Zenernet is out of business
I agree with the low rankings. I think it's safe to say that zenernet, like many companies in the exploding solar industry, had significant problems with scaling. I'm a management and business consultant, so peer through the blinds to see the source of their struggles. They established an operating model that looks good on paper but requires a highly accountable, collaborative, team-based culture to implement. I'm also a customer, and it's a fact that they only reason I've gotten to partial installation after 10 months is because I have been project managing it. Zenernet made mistake after mistake. An engineering culture that is losing touch with a winning customer experience. Predictable potholes. Systemic problems. An unaccountable culture. Sadly, now they are out of business. Not sure how I'm going to get my project completed.

I want Ravi on my Project !!
After reading most of the comments and experiencing the same issues as everyone else - (no calls or emails back, ghosted constantly, numerous project managers that know and do nothing, delay after delay after delay..) As some others did, I contacted the CEO as well - got an email back with a response that he would look into it and have my project done by the end of the next month... Over a year and still waiting - All I have to show for anything is the spray-paint marks from the utilities that came out to 'mark' their lines... I don't understand, when I looked them up initially in August of '21 - they had great reviews!! What happened?? Did they write their own reviews?? You go to linked-in and the CEO has great comments about how dedicated and driven he is and took Zenernet from zero to Multi-Million dollar company that was on the rise... I don't know Ravi, but reading the past reviews - it looks like he knows what he is doing with great reviews... To bad they didn't clone him... Now all my known contacts are no longer there - I get a generic email from the general office that they will respond to my email as quickly as they can...

Zenernet customer service is not responding to an incomplete job
I began discussing a system for my home with Znernet back in April. The sale person was always attentive, constantly calling, emailing and reminding me to sign the document. Once the contract is signed and another team takes over, things started to drop off. Zenernet outsources installation to a third party who had no experience working with tile roof. They ended up breaking tiles on my roof on the installation day. Took Zenernet a couple weeks to send out their own crew. They ended up not completing the installation and ran short of tiles to replace the ones broken by previous team. Took them a couple more weeks to find replacement tiles, but that's was still not enough and they left leaving my rood with pockets opened without tile covering. Just so happened there was rain on one of the day and I was practically begging them to fix it. Zenernet scheduled for an inspection with PG&E and told me the tiles won't be ready until the inspection day. On the inspection day, they patched the roof, but PG&E fail the inspection. The crew left and did not mention what fail and why or when is the next scheduled inspection date. They said customer service rep will get back to me. It has been over two weeks and I still have not received any call from them . I left Zenernet reps email after email, calling them is not working as they don't pick up the phone. Any attempt at calling them is met with an automatic answering machine. I tried their main sale number, after entering my zipcode, the answering machine now replied Zenernet does not operate in my area anymore and suggest I contact consumer affairs to find a solar energy partner...Needless to say I am speechless. The sale person emailed me earlier during the contract phase and said the first six month of payment would be free (I still have the email). Shortly thereafter the loan was sold to another company and they want me to make the first payment this month, meanwhile the work and inspection is not yet done. The project started at the beginning of April this year, it's now beginning of November and the system is not yet up working for me. Zenernet claimed they left it on, but I have no way of knowing since they refused to release the app for me to monitor it. I took a chance with Zenernet after reading bad reviews from other companies, turns out I am now caught in the same predicament with many other reviewers here. I am really desperate at this point and I don't know where to turn...

Solar still not installed. Zenernet employees ghosting
I have never dealt with such an awful company. Our solar is still not installed. Broken roof tiles. Awful contractors. Panels all on the side of the house after being installed and then removed because the first contractor installed all of them wrong. None of my contacts at Zenernet are available (or still employed). I now have a loan company demanding money from the loan we signed and I have nothing to show for it but beat up solar panels on the side of my house! Zenernet is the worst.

Terrible customer service, left stranded. Still in business?
We signed our contract with Zenernet July 2022. The level of knowledge of the various project managers and the communication, throughout the process, has been incredibly bad. The engineering and planning team did not understand California codes for panel setbacks for flat roofs. We had to go to our local building department, obtain the code and send it to Zenernet engineering and planning. It took roughly a month to get final drawings complete with numerous texts, emails and calls, continuously chasing down the various project managers involved in multiple hand offs The initial installation date, the wrong equipment was sent, then we waited two more weeks for another installation date. Finally, after a ton of followup on our part, the equipment was installed and inspection was set for two weeks later. Inspection day came on October 21st and the installation subcontractor was supposed to arrive at 8:00 am to prepare the equipment for inspection. They did not show. Finally the inspection time came around at 12:45 pm and the installation subcontractor still had not shown up. We tried several times to get in touch with Zenernet customer service, our sales consultant and every number at Zenernet that we could find, as the inspector told us he would come back if we could get the installer to show up. No response. We have been calling, texting and emailing Zenernet every day since. No response. We have been searching the internet to see if Zenernet has closed their doors. We saw on Glassdoor a posting that Zenernet let their sales team go October 19. Their office voicemail is so full, it is no longer taking calls. At this point we have good reason to believe that Zenernet has quietly closed their doors abandoning all of their customers. We are retired and were relying on lower electric costs ongoing and the tax credit for 2022. At this point we believe are stranded and need to try to find another solar provider to help us to go forward.

Zero stars
We are going on 18 months with this project and the company is ghosting us and a bunch of other people. What are they good at? Lying and pushing out and pushing out the project. Horrible follow-up, a new project manager every month. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS BUSINESS. The sales guy BW was slick and came across as credible to my husband but not me. Now we are trying to figure out how to get the system running. Of course it means more money out of our pocket.

Don’t Fall for this Scam!
We had the great misfortune of meeting Ravi Thomas, a salesperson with Zenernet. He presents himself as trusting and caring guy who is very accommodating, tell you they install within 60 days or pay your PGE bill. Well when you can’t reach anyone this becomes void. Please don’t be fooled by this as he will play this role until after you pay your second and largest installation deposit, for us it was $10k plus the initial deposit of $1k which is suppose to be transferred from your bank account, fishy? Cause it is. Then shortly after you will not hear anything from him, he literally will ignore your messages after he asks you to give him a good review first of course because he knows he won’t get it later also which is obviously why they have any because no one knows what they’re getting into after that fabulous fake sales experience. They will have a “planner” do a layout based on your photos, and everything will seem good until after this point, why? Because this is when you sign the agreement and pay your largest deposit. You will receive a permit which will expire in about a year. Then there’s the so called Project Managers, who knows what they really do but it’s not much. I was assigned Christina Yanez, after her introduction and after paying the large deposit she ignored my messages to find out when the solar panels would be installed. She finally told me there is a shortage of materials which was never mentioned in the agreement and I believe it was a lie. After this I have sent several emails and phone calls to the four people I dealt with and not one replied. I even called the owner/CEO Mr. Gerkin, no response. It has been 66 days and no date for install or replies, I believe that once they get that large deposit from you then they disappear and never intend to install anything. If I could give negative stars I would. Red flags are that they only want you to pay from your bank account so you have no protection. They ask for the largest sum before any work is done. We have reported them to the BBB and will continues to report them until we get the money back that they stole. I honestly don’t know how they live with themselves cheating people. Please avoid at all cost or it will cost you.

Bad experience . It’s a scam!
My review on google : Run away! Do not sign a contract with them. Please read all the recent reviews. They are horrible and very similar experience as everyone else. It has been a year since we started the process. They lied to my face and I only knew because I went to the city to find information and they told me the truth, zenernet would of continue to lie. The job they did was bad, the communication is bad, and they give you a good discount in cash and probably run away with our money. It’s so sad that we put our money towards this and no results. Luckily we have our system installed but not working and probably not proper installed either. If anyone has reached a lawyer or has any info please email me at amunozsaade@gmail.com. I am done trying to play nice, this is our money and they need to accountable. Please do not sign anything they send to “unconditional waiver and release on final payment” do not sign that. They will come after you after. I was recommended to check if they put a Lien in our home. check with your public record. again please read before signing anything. It has been a nightmare. I have tried many times contacting you no one answers, project managers quiet, no one takes responsibility, you lie to our face. It’s a scam! I am not the only one and we will unite to get our money and make sure you are accountable for all the stress and damage you have done. Ignoring company
The whole installation experience was very disorganized they had to come to my home 5-6 different times due to their poor work from the installers. In September, I found out that they had not installed my consumption, exporter, and import meters, and this is why I am getting a PG&E bill. I received the meters but now the customer service ops department is not returning my calls or emails. They literally let their phone go to voicemail and I do not have an appointment for the technician to install my meters that they failed to install or give an update on when I will receive a check for my Pg&e bill since June. I have filed a claim with the better business bureau and will be contacting CSLB and California department of justice. If this doesn’t get resolved right away I will hire a litigator for breach of contract.

Job abandoned
Zenernet is the worst solar company. I started my contract with them back in 03/10/22 everything seen perfect but then it when down hill really fast first they screwed some nails into my breaker box They had to replace it! It took a week for that. Then the after a month of waiting for the final inspection city inspector and tech guy showed up and they failed my inspection because the guys that came to installed the panels didn’t look at the plans that were approved and they installed the panels how ever they wanted. So I waited for 3 months for new plans in between does months they switch me with 3 different “project managers” in August I started to pay for my loan and PG&E they did reimbursement me for 3 months of the loan payments but not PG&E last month on 09/25/22 my project manager email me that we had an appointment for the final inspection for the 10/21/22 wonderful right. Then no one showed to the inspection for zenernet so I start to call everyone to get some answers first customer service no answer, project manager all of them no answer, VP manager no answer or emails or text messages, then last option co-finder CEO John call him different times of the day left voicemails and no call back. PLEASE DON’T HIRE THIS SOLAR COMPANY YOU WILL HAVE THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF YOU LIVE. I regretted going solar with zenernet because as of 10/26/22 they have not turn on my panels

Horrible Communication and Service.
Salesperson was very attentive and answered all the questions. Ensured me that they are no longer subcontracting other companies for installation, which was a lie. The company (Meyers Electric I was told) that came out to do the installation did a poor job and even showed up late to the first inspection failing before it even started. But the inspector was nice enough to point out some errors as a “consultation”. Zero communication from Zenernet regarding any of this except one from the VP of HR telling me that the project manager assigned to me is no longer with the company and that I’ll get an update within 3 days which of course, didn’t happen. I did get a call demanding that I pay the rest of the payment since the final inspection had been done and I told the rep the situation and she told me not to pay until we pass the inspection and gives me information for my new project manager who had reached out but never returned any of my emails.l afterwards. When I did call him directly, he tells me he’ll work on it but I get no communication until the city inspector comes out to the house with a guy wearing Xfinity uniform without any notification to fail once again for the same reasons pointed out previously. No one had to come out to address them!!! Then the Xfinity guy slaps on some stickers and refuses to put missing conduit body cover plates because it’s something he has to get reimbursed for. I reach out to the new project manager again and he tells me he’ll no longer will be with the company and that he doesn’t think that the company is going to make it. This is the worst experience dealing with a company who I’m not even sure will be in business soon. Stay away from these guys, I’d recommended them to my neighbors but I’ve gone and told them to stay away as well. No communication whatsoever unless they are asking for your payment. If I don’t get an answer soon, I’ll have to seek legal action.

It is difficult to know what to say. other than my situation has gone from bad to worst. Poor layout, bad after install service
I have been calling them weekly for 6 weeks and still don't have a resolution on an after install service issue. They located my largest array under a tree and are incapable of relaying a quote they received from their installer 10 days ago to move it. Come on guys...

>1 year to get installed had to manage project for them
TL;DR: It took over a year to get my solar panel system installed and activated, and it only got completed that quickly because I stepped in and managed the project myself when Zenernet wouldn't. I signed a contract with Zenernet for a solar panel installation in August of 2021, based on fantastic reviews for customer service and being rated as one of the best solar companies to work with. Additionally, Zenernet offered Tier 1 panels. We weren't planning to finance the system, so there were no issues with banks, etc. Our original estimated installation date was the week of November 22, 2021. After signing the contract with Zenernet and approving the final design, we were waiting for the permit to install the system from the city. It was taking a long time and our estimated install date came and passed. I had a Zenernet project manager calling me weekly to give me an update that amounted to "still waiting for the permit" for about 5 or 6 weeks until I decided to investigate myself. A five minute google search brought me to my city's permit website. I looked it up and the project permit was rejected by the city almost immediately after Zenernet filed it due to it being filed under the wrong category (it was filed under "electrical" instead of "solar"). I called Zenernet to tell them about the issue and they said that they had already fixed it and re-filed the application but I didn't see that on the permitting website. I looked a few hours after talking to Zenernet, and what do you know, there was a brand new application filed under the correct category. Oh well. Several weeks and months passed with various reasons for not making any progress. I got an email from Zenernet saying that I was being assigned a single project manager to be my single point of contact as several customers had complained about having to communicate with multiple contacts at Zenernet. I replied to the email, cc'ing my project manager, and got an auto reply email from them basically saying that they're too busy and will get back to me whenever they have time. I continued to get passed around from one rep to another for months until finally Zenernet informed me that the installer that they hired for my project indicated that I needed to do some landscaping work in front of where the inverter panel would be located, but they didn't have any information about what exactly needed to be done. We went back and forth on this for weeks until I asked to talk to the installer myself and was informed that the installer wasn't responding to requests for info from Zenernet. I told Zenernet that it appeared that the installer might need to be replaced if they won't respond to their requests and won't tell us what landscaping work needed done. Continued in photo.

Very difficult to get updates on the project
I would give a 0 star if possible. Sales people are very good at convincing but the operations significantly lack process and communication. My project has been over 6 months and still not switched to solar. The project managers assigned do not have any idea of the whole process but figures out things one step at a time. You send emails or call anyone, no one returns their call. I got 3 project managers assigned and they keep passing the buck. They seem to be severely handicapped with the staff and every step takes a month. The number on their website goes to sales who does not know anything about operations. They would take the message and send it to operations who never calls back. Very disappointed with the overall approach.

DO NOT USE THEM
I'm warning you now. The sales experience will be amazing, post sales they won't care about you. I honestly went here to post my experience thinking it was unique but was really a carbon copy of all of the other reviews. A few have mentioned class action lawsuits, and I would be happy to join. My experience has been very similar to many, many others. 1. Sales was great, the rep I worked with was easy going, non pushy and very knowledgeable. 2. After I signed, I was assigned a project manager who didn't respond to email for days. 3. My case was escalated to managers who were also non responsive. 4. They used sub contractors who were unorganized, repeatedly failed inspections, showed up unannounced and did terrible work (installed panels in the wrong location and made excuses for doing that). 5. They were not proactive with the city to get to PTO. 6. Once PTO was finally approved, they forgot to set up my monitoring portal. This is where I am now, my system is on (I think), but I have no idea since I've been waiting for weeks for them to turn on monitoring. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You will absolutely regret it.

An awful experience
I could never recommend Zenernet. Stan F. is a great salesman and very informative. Everything else has been a disaster. We signed our contract more than a year ago, in September 2021. Big mistake. After an initial flurry of planning and design, we ceased to hear from our first project manage in late November. Despite repeated efforts to contact her, or anyone at Zenernet, no progress was made until early March, when we had an hour-long phone call with someone who told us our first project manager had been fired, and the contract and plans for our system lost. After that phone call, it took all of two days for the County to approve the plan. When their subcontractor, SunCapital, finally arrived, they came untrained if at all. They usually lack the equipment, materials, or know-how to perform the job at hand. I lent them my tools because they didn't have them. Many times they did not come on days when they had promised to. They left their lunch garbage, lumber, and cement bags on-site, and screws in the driveway. We waited weeks and I finally picked up after them. Our ground-mounted system failed inspection FIVE TIMES. The Enphase tracking system promised in their literature still doesn’t function correctly. The original estimated date of completion stated in the contract was to be Dec 1 of 2021 (last year). It is now nearly 11 months later. Zenernet finally told us, after dozens of calls and emails to them, that they couldn’t finish the job. We have decided, for our own mental health, to give up on Zenernet. Looking back on this, I think we should have sued them. That’s what we get for treating people decently. Please don’t be fooled by their slick website graphics and informative salespeople. I could never recommend Zenernet to anyone. Ever.

Very Informative
We do have a leased solar panel system on our roof. We are currently looking at other options. Ravi explained the pros and cons of a leased system, and provide us a financial analysis of terminating our lease and owning our solar. It was a very educational process, not a pushy sales person at all. I would highly recommend Ravi and Zenernet Solar.

Excellent experience with Zenernet so far. Have been very impressed with sales consultant Ravi. I did not know much about solar when starting this process, but Ravi has really done an excellent job in explaining the process and finding a solar system that fits my family's needs. He was very cordial and patient with me, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and genuinely seems to care. Pleasure to work with.

Poor customer service
Plans approved and contract signed January 2022. They have not completed the project. Meanwhile I’m still paying on the loan. I’ve contacted the city inspectors. It turns out they have not contacted them. Zenernet used called contractors who have not followed up. Myers electric license number 972274. I’ve been passed on by project manager to another, with no results. If anyone feels they have been scammed. Please contact me to consider combining a class action law suit. I’m seeking legal counsel moving forward. I’ve been reading these reviews and complaints. There seems to be no accountability. Jerry D (REDACTED FOR PRIVACY)

Please do not purchase solar from zenernet
I purchased a solar package from zenernet back 12/2021 and it's 09/2022 and so far I've seen nothing , they took a down payment of $1000 upon signing the contract and first payment of close to$8200 and my project got dumped from one project manager to another I lost count how many project manager i went through and the few that got in touch and promised to keep me updated was all lies and the phone numbers that they shared with me no longer in service and the 800 customer service number it will reroute to overseas where they don't know nothing , utility company keeps sending emails inquiring about the solar equipment and installation so far am trying to answer their question so basically am doing zenernet's job , am seeing all my neighbors who signed up with sunpower got their panels installed within 3 months and they all purchased their packages way after I did . Stay away from zenernet this company lies once you sign up a contract with them and your pretty much screwed.

Run around with Zenernet
I attempted to go solar this year, I live in sunny Colorado and the tax credits reduce at the end of the year. After shopping around, Zenernet had the most competitive prices for the size solar system I wanted. Frankly, the sales person was quite rude. I had much better interactions with SunRun and Blue Raven. I ignored this because the price was great. After choosing to go ahead with Zenernet I was told “your sales person no longer works for Zenernet, your new sales person will be Mike”. Mike was pleasant and helped me get my documents signed in early April after choosing a system size. At this point, I was optimistic. I was then passed to Michelle who was supposed to help my project move forward. Weeks and weeks passed. Finally, she sent me a link for payment about 2 months later in June. I was not terribly happy with how slowly things were moving, but chose to ignore this too. I was then told Jasmine would be my project manager. Jasmine informed me weekly that my project effectively had not made any progress. I was then told my Jasmine would no longer be my project manager and that “projects in zenernet are being shuffled around”. Christina was then my project manager. I was not updated on any progress, which seemed to be little if any. I was then informed that I would have a new project manager, Vanessa. I never spoke to Vanessa. I tried calling at least 5 times over the course of 2 weeks. I left voicemails, nothing. I asked to speak with the person in charge of the project managers named Jarod. At no point did he make any attempt to reach out, by phone or by email. At this point I was very frustrated. My project hadn’t even been submitted to the city and it was 3+ months in at this point. I asked to speak to my project manager and was told “you have a new project manager, it’s her first day”. I tried calling a few days later. “She is no longer working for us, she decided being a project manager was not for her, you currently do not have any project manager” I tried to give Zenernet one more week to get me a project manager and make progress on my project. No progress was made. They hadn’t even been approved for a permit, let alone approach installation. It is now mid-late August, 4 months after I signed my project. Something is very wrong with the internals of Zenernet. There is no communication and they failed to make any meaningful progress on an easy project over the course of 4 months. I cannot express strongly enough how badly this company operates and warn you, do NOT ask Zenernet to manage any solar project you hope to install. You will get an infinite run-around and you will not get solar panels on your roof.

Beware! Over one year - STILL! not completed.
Besides the efficient sales and design process, everything else has been a terrible experience. I currently have a half completed, partially installed and non operable system. To make matters worse, the project manager (the latest of 5 different ones), won't answer calls, return voicemails or respond to emails. I am at a loss of what to do. Neighbor went with a Tesla system 6 months after I signed up with Zenernet. Their system has been operable for 3 months now.

One of the worst experiences of my life
Each step was painful except for when the sales guy talks to you and then collect your money. The contractors they used clearly did not care about your roof. Several tiles were broken and it took them 3 weeks to repair one tile (thank god it didn’t rain as this gaping hole was in my roof). The rest of the broken tiles are actually just left chipped on the roof because “they can’t find the right color.” My neighbor with the same roof had solar installed a week later and they had no issues finding the right tiles. Turning on the panels? Well, they’ve been installed for over a month and were cleared by the city and the electric company to use, yet the panels still haven’t been able to turn them on. They just don’t work. Our “project manager” promised to send someone within 24 hours to fix the microinverters, and no one has come. Then, after two additional days of us calling to check on the progress, she stopped responding to calls or emails. We of course called customer service multiple times and no one answered. The turnover at the company seem quite high as each project manager (we had at least 4 or 5) was equally unhelpful. We are going to be getting solar for our larger home and 100% will NOT be going with Zenernet. In fact, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Dont Do It !!!!!!!!
I contracted Zenernet to install my 14KW solar syatem in Florda after I reviewed multiple companies, they have a very good sales/marketing team, this is the extent of my compliments for them. After the sale, they contracted with a local Florida company for the installation, it has been a total "cluster****" I realized Zenernt is only about getting your money, after they get your money, they do not respond and leave it up to you to complete the project. It has been several months since the system was installed, its not installaed correctly, ts not finished or operational and they have my money. It's now in the State of Florida and California attorney Generals office for compliance and legal review. Choose wisely and do not follow my footsteps. and do not pay any sub-contractor until the work is complete and tested.

Empty Promises, Poor Customer Service, Unresponsive
Zenernet is an absolutely terrible company. The only people who provide follow ups and actually appear like they care is the sales people. They followed up with me several times and acted like they cared so I thought I could trust them. However, after the contract was signed, we kept experiencing one problem after another. First, the electric box art my house was not sufficient for the solar panel system that i wanted to install so they recommended that we get a bigger box. They gave me a quote and then changed it later on. I always sought counsel regarding an issue that I had with my house regarding the electric capacity and how certain appliances can cause the electricity to cut out. I asked them and made sure to reiterate that I would only get a box through them if this would fix my electric issues for the kitchen area of my house. They assured me that they would fix this problem with the box, so I went ahead and proceeded to signing the documents. The sales person said that they were backed up so that it would take about 3 months for all the approval and installation to be completed. The salesperson made a lot of empty promises and none were kept. I kept following up each month and then every week once it was near the 3 month mark. I received little to no customer support during this time and the installation did not occur until June. There was little to no response. They kept saying the permits were taking awhile but I've seen other solar companies have the solar installed within a month or less. I have also had to contact 3 different project managers now, this company is clearly poorly ran. In addition, they set appointments with me so I took time off work in order to meet them and open the gate at my house for them. They were never on time and there was 3 no shows and I was furious because I did not have much PTO left. I contacted them and they said and expressed my frustration after the 2nd no show and the claimed that the city had rescheduled the appointment to the following week. They used this same excuse for the 3rd no show. I asked them why there was no communication to let me know so that I could just go to work instead of waiting all day for them and they did even acknowledge or show any signs of remorse. My parents also took time off to meet them on the day they I could not so they just kept giving us trouble throughout this whole process. After finally getting the solar panels installed at the end of June almost 7.5 months after contract was signed, the electric issue in my house was never resolved. I have been contacting them every week multiple times each week to try to figure out a solution but they just ignore all forms of communication. I have tried texting, calling and leaving a message, and emails. This whole process was terrible and i recommend never going with Zenernet. The whole experience was terrible, the only training that is done is clearly on sales but after they get the sale they clearly do not care about the customer at all.

The worst
Have had solar panels installed 11/2021 and still haven’t been operational. I have heard every excuse there is . Payments have already started on the loan for months now and the system has never worked yet. Don’t waste your time with this company. I have already lost lots of $$$$$$

Horrible
DO NOT GO WITH ZENERNET!! Like many others the sales representative was great but once we handed over money that’s when the nightmare began. First, They switch out project managers far too often, I’ve had at least 6 different project managers throughout this entire process. Their unresponsive in keeping you updated is unparalleled, even with multiple phones calls trying to get someone on the line. In fact, the only time you hear from them is when they need money to start the next part of the project and after you pay, they start ghosting you again. I’ve been on this path with them since Jan 2022 and they still haven’t completed the project. They claim they need some stickers to allow me to gain access to monitoring my power production and that was over 4 weeks ago. I should have know better but I paid before they completed service and guess what? Yup, no responses from them. For all I know they could have closed the project out since they got the final payment. Again, DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!! It will only cause you headache and unnecessary stress. There are far better companies out there (Sunrun and others) that have better processes and at the bare minimum pick up the phone and give you status updates.

Do NOT purchase solar from Zenernet!
We purchased our solar in August 2021. It took several months to complete the equipment installation (Dec 2021) because the company did not have enough employees nor competent staff available. It has been 8 months now, July 2022, and the equipment is still not fully functioning. Parts have been bought and replaced several times, and it takes weeks to get new parts. Our roof was damaged when the panels were installed and the technician has recommended a professional roofer evaluate and fix. Zenernet has not yet sent a roofer to fix the damage. We are extremely unhappy with this company and would never recommend to anyone.

Terrible support and don’t back their warranty
The company does not follow up on support cases or back the warranty they sell you. I have been calling them every week for a month now to resolve an issue with one of the cellular cards that has aged out. They keep telling me that a project manager will follow up but no one calls or emails. I about to take them to court over this.

I wish I knew about Zenernet sooner.
We always wanted to get a solar, but after trying several companies over the years we never felt comfortable to pull the trigger. Then we found out about Zenernet, red some great reviews, made some phone calls and decided to give a try. The offer we got from them was very good. But we decided to get a competition from 3 best rated companies in our area. Zenernet came out as a winner. Best in everything - pricing, equipment used, warranties. Installation is top notch. Some panels went on the part of the roof with vaulted ceilings. They took all the precautions not to cause any issues. I had a minor issue with one panel, all I had to do is to mention, and Zenernet replaced it right away. It's been a few months now, our system is producing energy. I can tell for sure now, it's working the way it's designed to work. We can monitor it from our phones, how each panel is doing, what's the daily production, we get monthly reports as well. So far it looks like we will be producing more energy than we consume. We are happy with our solar system, Big thank you Zenernet!

BUYER BEWARE!
The excuses are unbelievable with this company! My last review was on 3/25/22. Zenernet replied back with a half as—d reply! Now, 3 months later and today’s inspection failed due to Zenernet’s lack of competence. We started with Zenernet in August of 2021 and are still waiting for the job to be finished. Jeremy has been in contact here and there due to the revision of the plans which were incorrect once again. It definitely shouldn’t have taken all this time. Disappointed is an understatement! Zenernet needs to make it right with their customers before they have none!

Do Not Use This Company
System was poorly engineered and never worked right. Communication requires multiple phone calls with rare return calls. The Generac PowerCell system was sold to me as a "whole house backup" system but from the beginning doesn't have enough battery power to power my well pump for more than a few minutes causing the entire system to fail thus requiring a complete battery replacement. At one point, they tried to make it my problem by requesting that I hire a local electrical contractor to install a needed component that was not specified in the initial engineering only to discover that no local contractor will touch this system as to avoid any liability for the possibility that the unauthorized installers made mistakes. Yes, they used installers that were not trained or authorized by Generac and that are located 4-5 hours away from the site. They promised to send me the closing bill in order for me to claim the solar rebate but they never sent it to me. I requested the necessary documents again and was promised a final bill which I have not yet received. They sell overpriced dreams and deliver under-performing nightmares.

Unreliable and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
The sales process was great compared to what I experienced with pushier competitors. The salesperson (Tara) was super knowledgeable and took the time to have several video calls and answer all of my questions. When she didn't know she would find out. That is the last positive interaction with Zenernet. I met with the project manager in the first week of January who told me I would be receiving updates weekly, only to never get back to me. I was told permits were being submitted multiple times and while I thought we were waiting on the city FOR 6 WEEKS, Zenernet "forgot" to submit the paperwork. It took 4 more months before the panels were finally installed. The process dragged out months longer than necessary and I still cannot get answers around city inspection and actual activation/power generation. If I could start over I would use a choose a more reputable option in the Bay Area.

Strung along since June 2021
I signed my contract in June 2021. The expectation set was that worse case permit will take 3 months and I am still waiting and it is May 2022. Almost a year! Their sales was efficient. Their customer service sucks - high churn on the point of contact. And zero transparency to permitting process. Each time response is that city asked for more details every other month. When I ask for details on what details got missed - silence!
