Very good experience

Everyone at West Coast Solar was professional and helpful from the sales person to the installers. There was a slight delay in getting signage up on the electric meter, but in the end all has been completed within 6 weeks.

Great solar company!

Great company! The install of my solar couldn't of gone any easier. They installed when they said they would. I had 1 problem about 4 months after my install. I recorded a call from them that my system seemed to be not producing any power. Come to find out that my monitoring device got unplugged by my kids. Easy fix! The entire team at West Coast Solar is OUTSTANDING!

Well done West Coast Solar

We just reached our one year true up period, and we paid $0.27 for electricity for the year. We are very happy with how our system operates. Our installation was very difficult, and complicated as we have an old tile roof. We also had to place panels on any number of areas to get the necessary 30 panels in place. West Coast Solar went the extra mile to make sure our roof was tight when all was done, a very high recommendation for West Coast Solar.

Great Installation and Performance

West Coast Solar installed our residential solar system, designed by John Walter of Repower Yolo, in the summer of 2014. The installation on our concrete tile roof was excellent and the solar cells have performed flawlessly for the past year. We highly recommend West Coast Solar for the installation of solar cells, even on delicate roofs, and John Walter for the exceptional design of appropriate systems. We have saved about $6000 on our PG&E electricity bills over the past year.

Solar array installation and operation to date.

I have a 20-yr. leased system. I liked this because I was not sure of possible future troubles and this way it will be maintained without me being troubled. I choose pay the total leasing power to be supplied up front with a single payment. The system was installed in December 2012 and has been working fine ever since. There was one hiccup from installation, but when this was learned, it was quickly fixed. I am very satisfied with this transaction with West Coast Solar. (I did not need any "after sales support".)

Great company, easy to work with

Decided the time is right for solar with falling prices and tax credit available through 2016. Talked to about five companies. Settled on West Coast Solar based on the best deal offered and after researching the equipment and determining it is high quality and right for the job. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. The installation team did a great job. They worked with us to place the equipment in the most convenient spot and chose a route for the conduit that looked the best, even though it meant using a lot more conduit and wire. We especially appreciated that they cleaned up before they left, not leaving any mess for us to deal with. Everything has been handled very well. The permitting and paperwork went through with no trouble at all. I can't imagine how they could have made things any easier. Have had the system for ten months with no trouble. We did have one panel under-performing for some reason, and they were happy to swap it out. So, no problems with service after the sale. Couldn't be happier, should have done it sooner.

We are very pleased with our solar purchase and are happy with the amount of savings we have received on our PGE bills. I recommend their company to anyone that mentions they are interested in Solar for their house.

Roof Top Solar install Reveiw

West Coast Solar's team was efficient and the follow thru was OUTSTANDING. I had a shorting out issue with my A/C after installation. We discussed this issue and it was determined that since it was so close to the final install inspection that West Coast would come out and check on the installation. The installation foreman came out to the house, on a Sunday, in 100 degree heat. It was discovered that there was a short in the wiring leading to the outside compressor unit, not part of the West Coast Solar installation. It was repaired at no charge and is still tip top. I can't say enough about the West Coast Solar TEAM!

Great Company... excellent experience

West Coast Solar was recommended by friends who had bought their system from them. They told us that West Coast's sales guy, Doug, was excellent, low key, no high pressure and they were right. We'd talked to one other company first, but they kind of blew it when their software couldn't find our house to give us a realistic estimate on the number of panels we'd need. Doug got it all on the first try, had all the financing and tax credit information at his fingertips and it just seemed like the perfect choice. Installation happened within a month of signing the contracts and everything has been working perfectly. LOVE our $0 PGE bills (though I know there will be a "true up" statement at some point.)
