Solar The Right Decision

I was very confused and not sure if it was worth going solar. I am the type that asks a lot of questions and loves to do my due diligence. Well after all my research and questions SunPower by Venture was the definitely the best choice. They walked me through the whole process making it a smooth, easy and definitely the right choice. They provided me spreadsheets that showed me what my savings would be over time and then I was able to compare to other solar companies. There panels definitely produce more energy than any other company out their which means less panels but more energy. This was key for me because my wife was against the panels on the roof because of looks and for me it was key because I wanted to save as much as possible. What can I say overall the customer service is great and the system is great. The Right Decision!!!

Excellent from start to flipping the switch

Several companies told me I was not eligible for solar, but Venture came out, checked the roof, and low and behold I was eligible. Brent from Venture was great explaining the equipment, leasing, etc. All of the customer service personnel were great updating me every step of the way. I received phone calls when the permits were applied for, approved, when the panels were ordered, arrived, etc. I was kept in the loop throughout the entire process and whenever I called with a question, I got an answer. The install team arrived early and got right to work. It took them about an hour or so to set up their equipment and safety gear, which I appreciate (many don't think about safety). The crew was friendly, courteous, and explained everything. They cleaned up so well at the end of the day no one would never know they were ever there. The longest parts were the DOB permits and Con Ed coming to change the meter. The very next day after the meter was changed, Nicole walked me through "flipping the switch." I couldn't be more happy with Venture Solar.

Outstanding Service by SunPower by Venture Solar

I am extremely happy with solar by SunPower. I initially interviewed other solar companies including SunRun and I went with SunPower because the equipment was better, the salesperson was very knowledgeable, the prices were a lot better, and most importantly, the customer service I received was outstanding. I had a question about something and the owner of the company reached out to me and went above and beyond. SunPower by Venture Solar is the absolute best company to go with when you are shopping for solar and also it looks great on the roof, you can barely see it; as with other companies, I know what the roof will look like is a reason people may not get it and that is not the case with this. Save your time with other companies and go with SunPower, they are the best. I would recommend them by far to anyone.

A Premier Solar Installer

I was very cautious during my initial investigation of solar power installers. I searched online for reviews, requested and received multiple quotes and spoke with vendors multiple times over months before I committed to move forward with Venture Solar. Now that I am finally generating my own power, I am happy that my due diligence lead me to choose them. They were extremely attentive to all my concerns and questions and scheduling of the installation was faster and easier than I expected. It's been over a month now and the system has been generating more than double the average power I estimated would be necessary to cover my electrical demand. I am extremely satisfied with the initial experience and I am looking forward to seeing the returns on my investment in the years to follow!

Easy Process

Venture Home Solar made the whole process of going solar easy and straight forward. Chris was great at explaining the whole process and savings right from the start. He was patient and not pushy. He answered all my questions and concerns. Venture Home Solar was in contact with me throughout the entire process and was great at providing updates on the progress during the various stages of the installation. After my panels were installed, there were some heavy rain and there are no leaks from the roof. I had my system turned on June 7, 2017 and I am amazed at the efficiency of the solar panels. My system have produced electricity every single day since installed rain or shine, of course less on rainy days. I am also amazed on how much it produces even on hazy days. I would definitely recommend Venture Home Solar. In fact, I have recommended them to some relatives who have also signed up with them and they told me how professional Venture Home Solar is. Great job guys!!!!

From the first day meeting with Brian to the final inspection and turning on the meter, we've had a most awesome experience. Everyone was punctual, efficient, and the process went most smoothly!

SAID GOODBYE TO CON ED'S ELECTRIC BILL

built a new home from the ground up in 2007 and have been looking at solar for the last 2 years. Found Venture Solar and they really took the time to explain the system, the expected return, and the installation process. I decided to go with them towards the later part of 2016 and had an expiring incentive that I really wanted. They pushed things along to make sure I was installed by the end of 2016 so that I could take advantage of that rebate which was HUGE. Their installation was really clean. No exposed conduit. You'll see crappy jobs where other installers will actually run the electrical conduit over a roof peak or around the edge by the gutters. Not these guys. They actually went a step further and hid wiring. You don't see anything but one conduit on the exterior of my house, and that's going to the electrical meter. Very happy. You know what made me even happier? I never have to pay Con edison again... thanks to Venture, and the Sun of course. He has to get some credit as well.

We cannot say enough how thrilled we are from start to finish with SunPower by Venture Solar. From the Representative that came to our home and sat down with us and answered every single call and followed up on every single question we had, to the installers who were so friendly and respectful in our home and to the Representatives when we called directly with questions. THANK YOU! The whole process was made so seamless and every aspect of what we were to receive with regard to financing (we purchased our system), the filing of permits, contacting Con Edison, tax rebates and tax abatements was taken care of on our behalf exactly as they stated it would be. Anyone considering going solar whether purchase or leasing must absolutely contact SunPower by Venture Solar!

Great Experience

My husband and I were interested in going solar and narrowed our search down to two providers. After interviewing the representatives, the decision was easy: Alex Yackery of SunPower by Venture Solar was the winner, hands down. He was courteous, knowledgeable, professional, straight-forward and explained everything so that old timers like us could understand. For example, he explained the pros and cons of buying vs. leasing. By professional, I not only mean that he knew the business and the technicalities but spoke courteously of his competitor, whom we had interviewed (the competitor was quite rude). Alex gave us a timeline of the process and it turned out that the installation took less time than anticipated. The company handled all the paperwork and kept us informed as everything got processed. Then the panels were ordered and once they came, a time and date was agreed for the installation. We were very impressed with the men who did the installation. They worked efficiently and quietly and spoke courteously. This does not always happen. After the installation, the system was checked and apparently one of the panels was not producing enough electricity, so a technical person came and fixed the problem. Then somebody from the city inspected the installation. A little piece had to be changed and once that happened (very quickly), the city gave the system its blessings. The next day was a scorcher and the units gave us much relief. In addition to a good night's sleep in hot and humid weather, we have the satisfaction of knowing that our electric bill has come down from the bad old days. If I could give SunPower six stars I would, because working with this company has been a pleasure.

Solar experience

I just wanted to take a moment to share our experience. Our overall experience was awesome beyond belief. Starting with Alex, Chris and the entire installation team everyone was professional, courteous and experienced. The end to end process is several months but from start to finish Venture solar exceeded our expectations. They were prompt, kept every appointment on time and answered all of our endless questions. The installation team was stellar and card for my property like I was their own. We have had our panels live since mid-Jan and are delighted with the results. If you are considering solar rest assure you will be making the right choice if you select SunPower panels and contract with Venture Solar. One last note a special thanks to Chris Sluyter, Tom and the entire installation team who went above and beyond. Kudos on a job well done and a customer experience second to none! Here Comes the Sun

My husband and I are very pleased with SunPower by Venture Solar. We had our solar panels installed a few months ago and are very happy with the results. The quality of the work was superb. Every worker that was sent to the house to assist in the installation was knowledgable, courteous and friendly. That makes it even easier to be reassured that we made the right decision in choosing this company. The energy tax credit was an added bonus to this investment. It is a beautiful thing to reap the rewards of lowering or eliminating electric bills and benefiting the environment at the same time.

Great experience

When first hearing about solar energy & sun power, we (as well as many others) felt skeptical. How can it be this easy, this efficient, and this inexpensive?! Well, we were immediately put at ease during our first meeting with Alex! The professionalism & drive he has for his company is remarkable. Throughout the whole process of qualifying for system, to installation of the panels, Alex & his team were consistently in contact with me & my husband. We are both happy with our decision to install panels and pleased with the service we received through SunPower. The icing on the cake was our first electric bill – close to nothing!

Solar is great

Meet with Alex in Jan. Of 2016 signed the contract the same week. Finial inspection just done yesterday, system is up and running, it produce just as projected. I now can see real time how my panel is doing. Panel itself looks great, we have the all black X series. Everything is as promised, they are on time and kept their end of the deal. Couldn't be happyer.

I normally do not write reviews but I did want to say thank you to the installers and sales agent (Alex) for doing such a wonderful job. Alex walked us through step by step of how this process worked and the men installing the panels were very professional. Any questions we had and phone calls we made were answered immediately. Comments: After meeting with multiple installers I elected to use SunPower by Venture Solar to install my solar panels. I installed 35 SunPower X-21 335 watt solar panels. I felt comfortable with Venture because they were a local company, and the only SunPower Master Dealer in my area. I wanted to make sure I had a high quality installation, and Venture does everything in house (including installation) which was very important to me in making my decision. Venture made every step of the process very easy, kept me informed, and were extremely professional. Their price was competitive and had my system installed in about 90 days. The installers were very neat and professional, and the quality of the work is top notch. Venture had my system inspected and turned on in under three weeks from the installation.
