Venture did a quick, and professional installation

The installation was quick, and minimally invasive. The install looks great! I will have to see how it performs once the town and the utility catch up with the installation inspections.

System is a Go.

Excellent service from start to finish. The salesman, Joseph-always available to answer questions and easy to talk to-he has a way of explaining things so it's understandable. We had the panels installed-they did it in house-and the men were so professional, on time, polite, and worked hard to get it done right. They look great, and we were lucky to get the newset and most upgraded Qcells! Highly recommend! AAA+++

Process has been slow. Our initial visit was with salesman Matt S. who was new but nice and explained the process. His boss Josh V. came with him the second time was pushy and quick to have us sign the documents, but when I tried reaching out to him to find out was taking so long no answer. Matt Stalling was great got things moving when I reached out to him even though he was new. Had the Muffin Men from Hudson install the panels. Nick and Aaron the electricians on this crew were amazing and so professional, they let me know everything that was being done and if any issues came up. The actual crew installing the panels on the roof need some training on cleaning up after themselves! They left all the granules that fell off the shingles from the installation all over my deck and front entrance along with some trash in the driveway. Waiting on inspection and on activation from National Grid. Ventures customer service is lagging and calling with updates a bit late, hope they get better and get the process moved quicker with National Grid to actually get the system running.

Great company

Both Mark and Kristopher have kept me informed re: each subsequent step being taken to get all permits and inspections completed. The company handled it all in abyimely manner. When installed, the solar crew, led by Neil R., was courteous, respectful, and cleaned every area.

Great experience

I've been interested in solar for a while and did LOTS of research and due diligence. I got quotes from multiple vendors and decided to go with Venture. The entire experience from the sales rep. (I put him through hell to win my business), to the design team, installers, electricians, project manager, and customer service have all been extraordinary. I often have buyer's remorse (the grass is always greener...), but I have had no regrets at all in dealing with anyone I spoke to at Venture. Once the contract was signed, my system was installed and energized in about a month - 2 months early. I highly recommend these folks.

This has been a great expeience. From the sales manager, Joe, to the install team lead by Kori. I was able to get upfront and detailed information during the sales process as I compared multiple vendors, options and plans. During the install process the team worked around our schedule, during heavy rain days and went fairly unnoticed during the entire work days; I was also given details of the work compeleted, status and obsitcales that had been overcome. The teams I spoke to in the backoffice, who handled scheduling of this complex project plan, kept everything in line and on schedule. I have heard the stories of other Solar companies first hand and I did not encounter any of these problems my family and friends unfortunately did. Do youself a favor and contact Venture when converting to solar and you will not be disappointed or holding the bag after your contract is signed.

Venture Solar was outstanding in all tasks performed

I interviewed 13 different solar installation companies. Venture came with a presentation that was complete, answered all my questions, and did not change thru installation. There was a representative present when the town inspector visited also. Highly recommended

Smooth process. Everyone I dealt with, was knowledgeable. No complaints.

Part way through, but so far, so good!

Panel install done a couple of days ago. The men doing the work were so polite...a change from the typical. When done, there wasn't a sign that work had been done on the property. It was completely cleaaned up! Next week, the city inspection is happening. I'm hoping for continued good effort, very happy so far!

The installation was great and I am producing a lot of power

The sales process was as expected and I was able to get the system I wanted with the terms and condition agreed upon. The scheduling and installation happen in two months including the roof replacement (which was my wife's request). There was some complication but not Venture fault as old wires from the sewers into my house needed to be replaced which delayed the project for two month. When it finally turned on, I had additional questions which Venture responded immediately. This also included asking about the NYC property tax abatement process (20% tax credit against my property tax over the next four years; 5% per year) which Venture explained that has already been taken care of and I am awaiting approval. Now I am just waiting for 2024 to file my taxes to get my 30% tax credit from the federal and 5k from the state. I would totally recommend Venture Solar for installation.

Executed very well

Highly recommend these guys

I've been in the construction field for over 25 years, and I could not speak highly enough about these guys. From start to finish they crossed every T and dotted every i in the process. Biggest selling point for me with Venture Solar is the company who sold me the system is the same company installing it, and servicing it - for life. No pointing fingers at whose fault a problem is, they just stand behind their product from sale to install to service. Highly recommend checking them out.

Absolutely miserable service

Venture Solar has one of the worst services I've ever seen from a company. I started talking to their sales representative along with other solar companies back in April. One of the deciding factors for us choosing Venture Solar was the promise that we can get our panels up and running by late June - early July. Well, we are in August and the panels just passed inspection.... They are still not online. For a month and a half, we've failed inspection again and again. It's amazing that this company has been doing solar for so long, and still don't know the requirements to pass inspection. They got the wrong caps in the panels. They ordered the wrong stickers 3-4 times. They didn't know the inspector needed to check the back of the panels. It's an absolute nightmare. Many times when I try to get a hold of them, they would transfer me to someone else and then that person doesn't pick up. The worst part is that even though we are behind schedule, they won't try to expedite it. When the inspection finally passed, it took over a week for them to send the paperwork to the utility company! Now we are waiting for our meter to get swapped, and supposedly this process will take 2-6 weeks. At the rate we are going, it'll be the end of September before we get the panels. I'm just praying all panels will work at that point. Overall, this has been an absolute nightmare. They really shouldn't be charging people the full upfront cost and then provide this kind of service.

Professional team on support and installation

No hard sell, salesman was knowledgeable and reachable to answer any questions. Took some time to get all the paperwork through to get the approval for installation. However, once it got approved, the installation was prompt and professional. The installation took less than a day for 38 panels. Pass inspection the first time and with no issues.

Crew showed up on time i was happy to see the early, mr muffing crew jajaja sorry Took me for a walk and show me the plan for the day iand ask me where would i like the boxes and we both agree

Solar power covers my electric use

Good experience will the sales and installation teams. Up and running on solar for a bit over a month with enough power to cover my geothermal heating and cooling units that were added in April. Waiting to see how much power to supply heating during Winter. The Enphase app provides power consumption and net kW export to the grid.

Great company, very straight forward, easy installation, easy to contact, and great follow up post installation.

Delivered what they said. Great experience from Sales Consultant, site inspection, Installation, Customer Experience Team, etc. Knowledgeable and honest. They installed 48 panels in one day, and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommended. No pushy sales pitch. Just laid it out, took care of all the work (permits, etc.).

My sales rep Joaquin was very patient and accommodating to my questions. The installation team were on time, efficient, communicated well, and did a great job overall. Final project looks fantastic! Despite a pretty significant initial hiccup with the design of the install needing to be adjusted, ( the team sent it right to the engineers who corrected the issue ), I still give them a 5 Star review⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I had my solar system installed 2 months ago. I was extremely pleased with the entire process. The installers arrived at the scheduled time. They installed the system over a day and a half. They explained exactly what they were going to do and did everything I expected. It took about a week for National Grid to come out and switch my meter. The following day the system went live. I am very pleased with the production I am getting out of the system as it is covering my electric bill even with me running my pool filter and air conditioning. Venture was the only company that offered me the option of doing a one time prepayment of the lease so that I have no further payments. My cost was very close to what I would have paid if I had bought the system and then gotten all the tax credits back. An advantage to doing via lease is that in 25 years if I do not want the system they will remove it from my roof at no cost to me I highly recommend Venture Solar
