Waste of time

Waste of time. Spend close to an hour explaining how much cheaper our bills will be , that first need an inspection blah blah and that there will be no hidden charges or upfront cost at any time. They hound you by text to see if your available and I still didn't get called until a week later just to find out that I was approved and that it would only cost $5500 on our part to have it installed.

Stranded

They hired a bunch of people, flew us all out to y'all, then tried to cancel our flight home, and kicked us out of our housing. Very unprofessional and almost made us go through hell

Absolutely horrible service

Totally incompetent installers. Getting back out to fix the problem is like trying to raise the Titanic. Stay away from V3. You'll be sorry. I hope they go BK.

Proceed with EXTREME caution

V-3 installed 10 panels Sept 2022. Panels have not export electricity since Mar 2025. V-3 claims it is financing company responsibility to OK work order. Financing company says they have no responsibility with panels that do not provide power .

MTBirkmire | Lodi, CA | 07/19/2025

costing me a fortune

I've set up payments for the 3rd of the month but they've taken 2 payments out this month. Plus the tax assessors office is billing me another 515.00 for an "ESCAPED ASSESSMENT" for the panels being installed. Plus PG&E is charging me over and ABOVE the 179.86 payment. It's turned into a financial headache for me. DON'T GET SOLAR

Harassment

I've had at least three different incidents of V3 salespeople come to my house. All three times I told them I was not interested, and don't come back. The latest incident was by a salesman named Jonah. I was working on my truck and really didn't have the time, but he was very pushy. I finally agreed to speak to one of their engineers just to get him to go away. The appointment was for the next day at 3 PM. We received a call from Jonah stating that the engineer was running behind schedule and that he would arrive between 4 and 4:30. 4:30 came and went. We contacted Jonah and told him to cancel the appointment, and that we were not moving forward. He persisted by texting my wife three more times wanting to reschedule the appointment. I told him to leave us alone and not to contact us again. This harassment is in called for. No means no.

Giving them 1 star is more credit than deserved

where to start, there are so many concerns so many disappointments so many mis' deceptions and so much time wasted so much damage made to my home at the worse time for my family and still has not been addressed today. this started shortly after my husband passed the end of 2022 into 2023. my husband had prior arrangements with different company to install solar to our home and with his accident fatal death really left me in a very disoriented and unhealthy state of mind, basically I was checked out. so, our son who wasn't at his best of decision making at that time either losing his dad took on the role of trying to fill in for my husband with some of the responsibilities at the age of 18 V3 came to our home during this time and lead my son to believe that they were the company my husband had made prior arrangements with and my son trying to finish what his dad had started did whatever V3 advised him to do , so that lead to months of ongoing unscheduled or notified appointments to a year later installation of solar and roof repairs that I was unaware we even needed and very unprofessional roofing employees that were very inappropriate with my daughters and I coming in out of our home and our wood for our front porch used or cut up for i have no ideal cords strung across my back yar power tools saws plugged into power left while they went to lunch and over the weekend that I picked up and put in our garage because it was left here and roofing Shingles and nails all over my property around my house I had to pick up after 2 flat tires with roofing nails in them still picking up nails today. To top it off the shingles are not matching visible to the eye very tacky very upset and now for a ongoing of 7 months now my roof is leaking where they installed the solar and my roof has brick's and tarps on it blowing around every windy day and its damaged my ceiling in my living room my tv shorted out from all the water coming thru to my tv entertainment and now its damaged into my bathroom and around my vent fan cracks in the paint and thru my home bubbled paint from water damage and i have had many of appointments file complaints and so on and still nothing has been addressed or done to take care of any of this and to make it even more frustration I AS THE OWNER OF THIS HOME HAVE NEVER AGREED OR SIGNED FOR ANY OF THIS> What can i do at this point I'm so over whelmed and still sad about my husband and 3 other loss i had this past 2 years so I just don't know what to do anymore iv have sent emails and agreed to appointments and they never come my dogs flip out every time the wind blows making my life so stressful cause its is hard for me to separate 2 large pit bulls terrified of the sound of bricks on the roof rolling side to side hitting my house busted a bathroom window.

Fraud project

Tried to sell me 17 more panels and 2 batteries to maximize my roof. More than half my roof doesn't even get sun. Now that I don't want to proceed with their dishonest project assessment they are saying I owe them 2500$ for backing out of the project. Or they can revise my plan and lower my project. Basically they're trying to con me into a project either way. Why would they suggest such a big project if it wasn't accurate for my home? They're into ripping off customers and not letting us change our mind? 2500$ or get a system from a dishonoset company. Don't use v3! Make sure u get other companies to come out!

Complaint

When I got solar installed it tool 3 months longer from when they told me, I was told that I would recieve a tax credit when I got a power wall tesla battery credit every year to offset my power bill and I just found out that was LIE also! I was told that I would recieve roughly $1500 back per battery so I got 2 tesla battery's, this year I should of recieved the credits and just found out of cant because I'm leasing the equipment! The salesmen never told me that, and that's the reason I wanted 2 tesla battery's! It hasn't been good with the salesman or the communication! The installation crews were great but the salesmen tell you what you want to hear just to make a sale, Lies Lies!! This all started in 2023 and now it's 2025 and I'm just finding out about the tax credit/ re imburrsement now because the salesman told me I had to have the battery's for 12 months, Jan. through December of 2024 to claim it on 2025 taxes ang again Lies Lies.

Stop Harassing | Upland, CA | 03/04/2025

Sales Harassment-Upland

I am writing to formally address an ongoing issue with your sales employee, William, who has continued to harass us despite our clear request to stop. On several occasions, we have informed him that we are not interested in his services and explicitly requested that he not return. However, he came back on both Friday and today, disregarding our prior request. During his visits, he falsely claimed to be a government employee, stating that he was required to inform us about rising Edison rates. I am unsure if this is part of your employee training, but his actions of misrepresenting himself as a government official and ignoring our clear instructions are completely unacceptable. We reiterated that we do not want him or anyone from your company on our property, yet he continued to insist that another salesperson might visit if there are any changes with the rates. Please ensure that your sales team, particularly those in your Upland office, are properly trained on the legal guidelines for sales practices in California. Misrepresentation and failure to respect a customer's request to not solicit are serious issues. For your reference, we have recorded this interaction, and we made William aware of this fact during the conversation. We expect immediate action on this matter and do not want any further contact from your company.

Customer services and communication

I started the process of getting V3ELECTRIC to install solar power and a Tesla battery in Nov 2023. I asked them to delay the install until Jan 2025. They did that. They performed the install and a comment by one of the installers got me concerned about the company's knowledge of solar power and integration with existing solar on my residence. Since then I have asked to have someone explain exactly how the system is integrated and works with my existing solar. It has been over a month (currently Feb 28, 2025 and I have heard NOTHING back from them about my questions. PLEASE DO NOT GO INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THIS COMPANY WITHOUT INVESTIGATING THEM. Or just go with someone else. These guys are AMATEURS concerning solar power and customer experience.

Bonnie Lewis | Grass Valley, CA | 11/03/2024

False in misleading business practices

I am incredibly disappointed in all areas of this company. I was told that I would be purchasing my electricity through a hem and at a lower rate than PG&E. I was shown my monthly usage and promised my system would produce enough for my needs. However this was incredibly misleading and is not the case. I now pay two electric bills. One to PG&E and one to V3. This is one of my issues. I was never told that I was required to have WiFi for the system. I now have another bill for that. The instigation was incomplete and the rep i initially spoke with told me my panel would be replaced. At the first power outage I called V3 because I was having an issue. It was after hours and I was directed to call the after hours emergency number. I did so and no one ever called me back. I have had issues with the system and apparently who ever installed it wired it backwards and it was showing I was as drawing from the grid and not sending to the grid. I feel lied to and cheated. I hate this company

Hector | Murrieta, CA | 11/02/2024

Do not use them

Horrible customer service, lack of communication, had a whole in my side wall 2x weeks with no communication on when it would be fixed

TOM | Martinez, CA | 10/21/2024

Service is less then par.

Great sales pitch.. And I fell for it.. Tom, the salesman who lives in Martinez, CA made promises his company would or could not keep! Solar was installed in June 2024. Service is still not up and running. V3 has shown up at my door multiple times with no appointment and yet when appointments are set, they just flake or cancel the 7am. appointments 10 min. before the showup time, in which Contra Costa County Permit office was also suppose to come to finalize the approvals for setup. I have now been flaked on 3 times by physical show up and 7 times by phone.. All on txt (records). Worst company I have dealt with in my life, for sure.. They either are the most incompetent at what they are doing or are just truly that awful of a company.

SCAM company 8/7/24

Scam artist came to our door, knocking and explained how busy PG&E he is going to raise prices every year or even every six months. Explained us how we will be saving money on our trip bill. be already had 22 panels and threw up bill was around 1500. so be signed up for eight more panels and battery. it took them almost a year to install. But the biggest scam be found out this month August 2024. When we received a bill from PG&E for $586. on top of this we are paying hundred dollars to this company. What happened was we were at NEM 2 and because they installed more than 10% of the grid, it automatically changed us to NEm 3. so now we are struggling to find out what’s gonna happen to us because our bill is 500% more. OMg for the scam artists. They did not care that this would happen. It will change us to three, which is a rip off from PG&E. Now instead of getting through a bill from PG&E, we will be getting bill from them every month. God knows how much it’s going to be every month. Please do not use this company. I am in process of seeking legal help, and I will be complaining to BBB. it is a total mess. It is a disaster. if you want to save yourself, please do not ever let V 3 scam you. Their customer service also is in Philippines, who they will not even let you talk to the managers. BE CAREFUL AND BE EDUCATED BEFORE EVEN TALK TO THEM.

Roberto Aguilar | Rancho Cucamonga, CA | 07/20/2024

Trustworthy company

Z** and C****** knocked on my door and told me about their program that could save me 30% on my bill. I had looked at Solar previously but it was so costly. I liked this option because they simply provided the equipment and I pay a much cheaper price. They got my average rate from 48 cents down to 30 cents! They did tell me it would take 2-3 months to be completed… it took about 10 weeks from start to finish just like they told me. It’s been a smooth process. They have communicated well and the office keeps me updated. They did have to visit twice to complete the install but that’s expected with construction projects. Overall loved the process and I’m paying 30 cents for power now just like they had said!

emmanuel | Fontana, CA | 07/20/2024

great customer service

I have had a great experience with V3, everything was quick and professional. They informed me frequently of new project updates. The customer service was very helpful and available.

Overlooked my mothers install and contract…

They came in talked a good talk. We agreed on a battery backed system so when power is out (frequently) WE SHALL HAVE POWER!, Gave the candid we got you covered we will install what you want. SEVERAL INSTALLS AND WE HAVE TO DO THIS AND THAT NOW BECAUSE OF THIS AND THAT. I found out they signed everything off and she signed her contract months later. Well power went out……. GUESS WHAT SHE HAD NO POWER!!!!! You guys are prey for the non understanding you pieces of

Scammers

Beware of the SCAM ARTIST C******. He will trick you in to signing a 30 year contract and tell you it’s Government funded you only need to pay for the utility at 30% less than what your paying for now, then he will have you sign his table one page but the contact is actually 77 PAGES LONG!!! You will actually be tricked into leasing the solar panels for an expensive set fee monthly then also having to Pay Edison for the usage. You will end up paying three times more of what you’re paying now. Complete SCAM

Self Generation Incentive Program

Really helpful reps with V3, they gave us the information we needed to get ready for the appointment we set. They work with the SGIP in order to make the installs. We were able to look into the program ourselves so we knew what we were getting into before hand. Recommending to my friends.

T.Yala | Temecula, CA | 03/07/2024

BE WARNED: DO NOT USE V3 (a solar panel company) FOR YOUR SOLAR PANELS PROJECT. It all started at the end of January 2023 when a salesman sold me into adding additional solar panels through V3. He promised that within three months the panels would be installed and operational. After signing the contract and sending a deposit, I spent more than 3 months trying to get in touch with V3 to find out when the installation would take place. After several calls, texts and emails, I finally received an email in August 2023 (7 months later) stating that I was scheduled for installation. V3 installed the panels on my roof with virtually no permits from the HOA, Riverside County, or from the city of Temecula. Given that no permits were received, the panels remained non-operational. It was not until the beginning of March 2024 and after I paid 90% of the remaining balance that the panels were turned on. It took V3 almost 14 months to finish the job. My next door neighbor used a different company. It took 3 months to get the panels installed and working. The culture of this company is based on taking advantage of customers by using very aggressive salespeople. The employees that I interacted with are dishonest, liars and have no integrity.

Jane doeling | Shingle Springs, CA | 01/02/2024

Worst solar company out there

When looking for a reliable, trustworthy solar company do not make the same mistake we made by going with V3. So far our 2-3 month project has taken 10 months and counting. All of the installers are extremely unprofessional by blasting inappropriate music to causing thousands of dollars worth of damages throughout their install areas. Customer service, managers and all in office personnel are a compete joke, they do not communicate with each other resulting in us having to contact them very often for the simplest bits of information. The company overall is solely in the business of screwing their customers over, nothing else. We are still fighting to get our solar up and running and for damages of our newly remodeled house (inside and out) paid for. I wouldn’t wish this mess on my worst enemy, stay away!!!

abc | Pittsburg, CA | 11/17/2023

worst company don't get solar from them

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Everything went wrong. - System is overpriced compared to other competitors - They damaged my property during installation and should repair the damaged based on the contract but they are denying the quote to repair my damaged property - They always arrive late when there is a scheduled appointment - They respond very slow to all your cases If I knew they were this terrible I would have never bought solar from them, before you go through the same pains and stress, I highly recommend getting your solar somewhere else

Tracy | Auburn, CA | 10/25/2023

Do not use V3

Installed panels over a year ago never passed inspection? Never worked useless panels placed on 40 year old roofing which is now leaking. v3 wants to charge elderly homeowner to remove useless panels so the roofing can be replaced. Why do panels not work over a year since install and why on a very old roof?

Cool mama | Cool, CA | 07/01/2023

A year later...

We made first contact about a year ago. When we decided to go with V3, we had only heard great things! Our system was supposed to be up and running last Oct and here we are, still waiting for some inspection or other. We have had multiple inspections and are still waiting. We do NOT understand what the holdup is. We feel like we have been VERY patient and enough is enough!!! I really want to be able to say great things about this company. We have not had to put out a dime for any of the work that has been done so far. That is literally the only thing keeping us sane at this point. Come on V3!! Deliver on your product! It is LONG overdo

Very Disappointed | Chino, CA | 06/23/2023

HORRIBLE SERVICE - STILL NO CONNECTION

We had solar panels installed 4 months ago and they still aren't connected. Passive responses but no action. Salesman was kind, but so far, has proved he can't be trusted. Customer Service here is non-existent. We rushed to get our home reroofed for the solar install and they damaged our brand new roof. I wonder if they get credit from the government for installation of solar panels. Otherwise, why would they take the time and cost to do the installs if they don't bother getting them connected. Bottom line, 4 months later and we're still paying SCE for electricity and have solar panels on our roof that aren't connected. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Jeremy T | Glendora, CA | 05/17/2023

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

As I write this it's 2 months post install and panels just sitting there. They caused a bunch of water damage due to faulty roof penetrations. One employee that led the install was very rude as well. THIS COMPANY IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG YOU ARE THE LAST PRIORITY.

Michael lafont | Barstow, CA | 04/27/2023

After a month of signing contract they came out put the panels on , it's been 6 months still have no working solar power it's excuses after excuses the fault is never there's still waiting on service 6 months later

Ray | El Dorado Hills, CA | 12/21/2022

Mr.

Chking with all solar companies, V3 came across as the most professional that instilled confidence and informative. Going with V3 was not a bad experience, although emails and notices didn't seem to coordinate efforts together but not acceptable with a shrug of the shoulders. They've had to come back to readjust panels because of not being installed correctly and redid the Iverson box because something was wrong with it. OVER ALL, having solar is so far seeming to be the way to go, but V3 has week links in their company chain that needs some supportive management, mainly having a live person answer the phone in customer service when you call, and then having installation done right the first time. This all leaves me with a middle of the ground review, not sure to recommend at this time.

Nathaniel Bubb | El Dorado Hills, CA | 09/30/2022

Awesome!

They have been around for 8 years. Choosing them was a no brainer.

Frank and Mary Ann Tortorich | Jackson, CA | 09/08/2022

Grateful for V3 installation

We live in Jackson, CA, in Rollingwood Estates, a mobile home park. The park management company did extensive research and deemed them a solid company to do business with. And after reviewing the list of those with the V3 installations, we decided to sign up and are we glad we did, especially after this past heatwave. So far we have not have to paid for any year end PG&E charges. Yea. But PG&E still has to change a $5.00 monthly fee for transmission as of today, anyway. Since then we have seen multiple units installed in the neighborhood. Some folks even had battery backup installed. Not sure of the price. After reading the one star reviews of the company, doesn't sound like our experience. Sad those folks has problems. Some of the features we appreciate are the fact that they took care of all the permits the state requires of any changes to a mobile home, that they will take off the panels when we need a new roof installed and replace them, no charge, and that the system and payments on the system go with the home when we sell. Our sales person is excellent. Jake, thank you for your after-sale service.

NOT INTERESTED CUSTOMER!!!! | Rocklin, CA | 09/01/2022

Worthless Company!!!!!!

These guys continually ring our doorbell even though it says "NO SOLICITING" on a BIG SIGN right next to our Ring doorbell. Very frustrating, what part of this "NO SOLICITING" do the MORON SALES PEOPLE that you hire not understand? I am not interested in your solar pitch. If I wanted solar you would be the last company I would contact!

V3 Electric Solar Panel System Installation Review

Our experience with V3 Electric began in April 2022. Prior to this time and for a period of approximately 5 months we investigated “going solar” via online videos, reviews of solar companies, solar equipment data sheets, NEM details, our utility energy statements, etc. At our request, a V3 energy consultant visited our home and spent more than 2 hours describing the proposed solar panel system and answering our many questions. At no time were any “pressure tactics” employed or exaggerated performance claims made. We appreciated the consultant’s professionalism, liked what we saw and decided to move forward. On April 20 V3 Electric sent an LOI for the proposed system ($0 installation cost / fixed monthly price / 25-year contract). From that point on every aspect of the process (proposal verification, drone survey, system design, permitting, installation, inspection, interconnection with the local utility and permission to operate) was conducted promptly and without issues of any kind. V3 Electric kept us informed of process status, what to expect and anything needed from us. The service technicians arrived on time for each visit: panel installation June 8, electrical equipment installation June 29, and final inspection July 13. All installation work reflected attention to detail. On July 17 we received permission to operate from our utility (PG&E). We are very satisfied with V3 Electric and happy we chose them as our energy provider. In preparing this review my wife and I tried to identify V3 Electric deficiencies or shortcomings that could be eliminated or improved, but we can’t think of anything. If we had to do this over again, we would choose V3 Electric.

Excellent experience

I’m skeptical of most door to door salespeople, and tend to say no thanks. I had been interested in solar, but I was rebuffed by 2 solar companies when I said I had a tile roof (the guys that station themselves at Costco and Home Depot). I decided I would listen to my now representative- who explained the system. Immediately I thought, this is too good to be true. Having gone through a major remodel, I wasn’t prepared to finance a solar panel system. My rep, KaVell Jenkins was patient as he explained V3’s model for installing the system. I conferred with my son, who shares my skepticism. KaVell came back to talk to both of us, bringing his compatriot Tyler, who went into depth. Once we understood how they make their money, we were sold. I wanted to get a system before NEM3 took effect; where PG&E is going to charge $6/size of system for the inverter charge. My unit at nearly 7Kwh would be an additional $42/month, but I’m under NEM2 which is a flat $10/month. I was seeing my kWh charge going up; within 3 month it went from 21¢- to42¢/kWh. It makes sense. So I was able to get 22 panels and a larger panel box (usually a $6K upgrade) installed - free. They own the system (as of now) and monitor the panels. I’m paying V3 for my electricity now at a flat rate, with a minimum rate increase of 1.5%/year. My highest bill in 25 years will still be LESS than my electricity bill NOW. PG&E has another huge rate increase in 2023 planned to cover the cost of the fires. As far as customer service, it’s been excellent. I’ve had my questions and concerns answered immediately. They guided me through every step of the process. I read through every inch of my contract, and I feel confident I made the right decision. They inspected my roof thoroughly, showed care and concern for my property. I now have my system up and running, using the sun to run my hot tub! I have the option to buy my system too, which I will purchase at some point. Their model though, allowed me to install a system without having a lien on my house and and get the NEM2 rate while I still can. It’s a local company too, based out of Sacramento, always a plus. I’m very happy with everything and I’d recommend them if anyone is considering solar but balking at the cost of purchasing a system .

BE CAREFUL USING V3

WARNING - Be sure to ask V3 about True-Up costs before agreeing to use them. I was told that based on V3's calculations that I would save money each month on power usage. As result, I pay severely more each month with a $3k per year true-up bill. I have asked them for help and they advised me that I need to cut down my 100+ year old trees in order to cut my $3k true-up costs by 25%. Even if I did cut trees down (which I am not), I am still losing money each month with V3. Instead of taking accountability for their mistake in miscalculating my projected energy production, V3 blamed me for using too much power. I got screwed using V3. BE CAREFUL...

The sales team that I interacted with were very nice and friendly. Valeria and Nivin were pros. I was looking for an alternative to the current and legacy power monopoly. More company's the better. So im giving them a shot. So far no complaints. System is clean, well installed, and working great!

Avoid at all Costs

Thankfully we no longer have to deal with this company because we are selling our home. We made the agreement in December 2017, and it was filled with all types of promises from v3. We had 18 panels installed and were told it would more than meet our electric needs and would even cover an electric car we were thinking about purchasing. The panels were installed before Christmas, and we were told it would be a few weeks to get them inspected by the city to turn on. We heard nothing from them until we received a phone call sometime in February about someone at our home for an inspection. Problem was, we were out of town on vacation. Apparently V3 set up the appointment with the city but didn't bother letting us know. When we returned, we tried contacting them to set up another appointment and they told us they would work on it. Meanwhile we had to start making our payments on a product that wasn't even in use. We probably called every other week or so trying to get them to set up another appointment. We didn't get one until October. 10 months after our panels were installed. Then the city inspector showed up, but the rep from v3 was "running late" and over an hour away. Luckily the inspector was able to go to his next appointment and come back and approve solar panels being turned on. There was also an app that monitored the solar equipment, BUT, we needed V3 to give us a username and password. Thats when they completely stopped returning our calls. On top of all that, the promise that the panels would produce more than enough to meet our needs was completely bogus. We had a tru-up of nearly $800 each year. Add that to our monthly payment, and our electricity costs went up about 50%. And we didn't even purchase that electric car. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I got the solar panel from V3, on signing the contract I emphasize to not to touch my old solar system. The day of installation the find that they cannot install at the original location so the install on the other side of the house, which was ok with me. An electrician was not present and the move the wiring of my other system and by doing so the disconnect them. That day I came home to see that they also turn off my first solar system (I did not know then that the actually also wire it wrong). For them to come to restart my old system was an argument and once when I talk to a representative she said, “are you sure it us”? when I said Yes, she asked if I have proof Which I have. Took them over 2.5 months to figure up what was wrong. Long time to send an electrician as I request the tried and waste my time sending the wrong people. On the side of pipes, the made a mess pipe all over that to it looks good they needed to re due it. This process took a lot of energy and time (that cost me work time).

My solar install

The process seemed was very quick. I was informed by email at every stage. Survey complete, design complete, permits complete, install scheduled, inspection complete..... super easy. And now, average Edison statement is -$$$. All in all, easy quick, efficient. I was referred to them and I'm beyond happy

Joke of a company

This is an honest review after being a customer of v3 for the last 1.5 years. This all started back in June 2019 when a salesman, Dennis, solicited door to door about solar installation. After we sat down with him we got misleading information and no longer wanted the solar. It ended up being too late to back out of the solar installation since we already signed the contract. Dennis continued to reach out to me after this, knowing that I was upset with his service, about sending him referrals. That was the first problem. Fast forward to February 2021, my wife and I are selling our home. We get a roof inspection done and it states in the roof inspection that there are damages done due to solar installation. See my google review to find these pictures. For 1.5 year our roof has been sitting there damaged due to this joke of an establishments negligence. I call V3 and they send guys out on February 26th 2021. They do their job and leave with no announcement that they completed the work. Very unprofessional. I call back the office later that day asking for a report showing what was done. They tell me they will send me a report that day. I wait FOUR days before I get a report after repeated calls to their office and the report they send me seems like some kind of joke. See my google review to see their joke of a “report”. There is no name of who did the job, no stamp of the company, and just poor quality pictures. I call back the office to raise this issue and ask if they had roof contractors come up and fix the roof. The manager said, they are people who have many years of experience working on roofs but are not certified. V3 promises you they will fix any damages to your roof cause by solar. What they DON’T tell you is that the people who repair those damages are NOT certified! Tell me how is that legal... I have issues with my roof and you have UN-certified individuals trying to fix my roof. How do I know they didn’t cause anymore damages?! Very unprofessional company. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY! This is such a headache having to deal with them.

Energy independence at a reasonable cost

V3 took care of the entire process. Got 2 tesla powerwalls with my panels and went with v3 solar's plan. Decided not to buy because I personally don't have the income, nor can I afford the cost. V3's plan works great because they take all the responsibility out of owning the system. They monitor the performance and handle the upkeep of the system. Great service.

Love watching my PG&E bill go down

I’ve had V3 for a little over a year now. My sales rep was really great from the start, but when I needed some answers it was kind of hard to get a hold of him. I called the office to get some help and their team was really helpful. I guess I understand some people get busy - would still have been nice to hear from my rep, but the people I talked to in the office were professional and followed up and promptly updated me throughout the entire process. Overall, my PG&E bill’s the lowest it’s ever been and my system's maintenance is covered for the full terms of my agreement.

Wonderful Experience

I just got my true up bill and it was a credit, woo! I went with the PPA option, which I originally thought purchasing was the best way to go.... however, I couldn't benefit from the tax credit, anyway, and oh my is solar expensive! Why would I spend my hard earned money on this when I don't have to. Just pay for what you use, it's cheaper than PG&E, and don't worry about the maintenance of the equipment? Score! Unlike other programs I looked into, there is no lien on the home, either. I suggest you call V3 and see what they can do for you. Stop letting PG&E make you pay them for their mistakes!
