They were very professional. Answered any questions we had. The installer listened and made changes we asked for. They showed up on time and finished in one day. All of the workers were polite and they were respectful of our home and property.

Best Company to grow thru

I did my research and got bid from a lot of different companies. And than I started reading reviews and Vivint Solar had some bad reviews that got me thinking. Than I met Vivint Energy Consultant he explained every Single thing to me and showed me everything in writing. I got mine last year and it’s producing more than I thought it has all the warranties and I know how the technology works. The reason Vivint has bad reviews because of not qualified sales guys. Make sure who you are working with if it’s a new guy pass on it that’s why people have problems.

Solar Panel PPA Review

I contacted a sales rep at Vivint in April '17 and every step of the way from initial consultation to system installation and activation was quick, professional, thorough and always kept up-to-date with expected timelines for the next step in the process. Vivint sent an electrical crew out to update my wiring from the street to my electric panel (circuit breaker box) - all new and very cleanly wired - upping my home's capacity from 60 to 100 amps to be sure the solar panels would run optimally; and that upgrade was at their expense. A week later, another crew came first thing in the morning to install the panels. They were efficient, cleaning up any left-over debris and happy to answer any questions I had. The time waiting for my local utility to switch-out my meter to the net meter took a little while, but that's not in Vivint's control. 16 weeks from consultation to activation. System is producing more energy than I require on a daily basis, so excess energy is sent back to the grid for me to use when I need it, already in my account so I don't pay for it at their higher rates. Only a few days in as a user and I'm pleased beyond my initial expectations. Quick overview: Vivint sales rep and customer support has been nothing less than professional and the same for all site work performed. Unless I get some kind of surprise in the billing aspect of this partnership, I expect that this will be a great deal, as PPA vs ownership goes.

Great Experience so far

Vivint, and Richard specifically, has been extremely friendly and informative. They aren't high pressure sales, so I truly feel like we will make the right decision when the full spec has been completed. They've been efficient throughout the quoting process, and I hope to move forward with their product.

Solar review

Have had a great experience with Vivint so far, very professional and not pushy. Our panels are on but not operating yet (waiting for inspection). Hopefully our service is as good as they have been so far once turned on, will come update when service is on.

I got my system installed in January of 2017. My rep was extremely kind and very honest. I was very skeptical in the beginning because of some of the bad reviews. I am glad that I didn't listen to them because I'm saving a ton of money and I didn't have to pay a dime! Very happy with the results as my neighbors were too. Only thing I can complain about is how long the process is!

Just installed

Just had Vivint installed our solar panels a few days ago. The entire process was smooth and the sales/installation teams were easy to work with. Vivint was promoting the PPA option, but was accommodating when I decided to go with a loan and own the system. We went through a couple of different system designs and they took the effort to incorporate my input. Overall I am really satisfied so far. Will update the review after the system goes online.

Great Savings

I've been with Vivint Solar for almost a year and I've saved almost 40% from the previous years electric bills. The system looks great on my roof, and the installation went smoothly. They were done in one day. It did take about 2 months to turn on the system after install, But that was the typical time frame in my area. Looking forward to another summer full of sun!

I had an experience that was above expectations. My Salesperson Daniel was Professional and explained the entire process from beginning to end. Also their Customer Service group kept me abreast at all times during the process. I will recommend Daniel and the Company any time.

Excellent Staff and Customer Service

I have recently installed solar panels to my home with Vivint Solar, using Chris as my Sales / Customer Service Representative. I could not have had a better experience. First of all, I checked with three different solar companies who will remain nameless because this review is to praise Chris and Vivint, not to bash those companies. One sales rep. lied about their warranty. Chris had me call their manager to find the truth saying that "if their warranty is like that, then you should go with them, but I assure you its not. Just speak to their manager." The other sales rep did the roof survey by pacing my backyard! Needless to say Chris and the Vivint staff were by far the most knowledgeable and professional. During the installation, Chris checked on me every step of the way, and 7 months later, still checks on me, every now and then, to see how satisfied i am with my panels. I am very pleased to say that my bill went from around $200 per month to about $25 per month (still have to pay for my gas and fees). Every month I generate 3 months worth of energy (partly because i am more conscience about my usage), so in November when SCE&G (my service provider) credits my account for the excess generated, I will be able to enjoy a $0 bill for several months!!! I will warn you that while SCE&G does subtract the amount of energy generated from the amount used at a 1 to 1 ratio, they do not buy back the excess energy generated at the same rate they sell it (they sell it for 14 cents per kwh but buy it back for 4 cents per kwh) so check with your service provider to see your rates. But I can honestly say that I HIGHLY recommend getting solar panels AND I HIGHLY recommend using Vivint solar. Satisfied Customer

Started saving money on day 1 & they upgraded breaker box free!

I had shopped around and gotten surveys from a few different solar companies, and ultimately went with Vivint Solar because they seemed to be the solar company most likely to be around for a long time. They upgraded my electrical panel for free and I have been saving a good amount of money every single months since my installation last fall. Very happy with the customer service and the savings and the experience overall.

Excellent customer service - Brendan went above and beyond

Brendan Sullivan went above and beyond the normal call of duty. He was there every step of the way, answering questions and helping us out. We had some scheduling changes because of weather, but he helped us work through them. He even showed up to turn the panels on for us when we got Permission to operate! Will be recommending everyone I can to Vivint

Excellent sales team

My experience working with vivint solar was excellent. My sales rep Paul Amenta could not have been better. He walked me through the whole process and was extremely knowledgeable. He was able to explain each step in the process so we knew exactly what to expect and he helped us with any questions or concerns we may have had.

My friend and neighbors like it I'm giving it a try

I've look into a dozen solar offers with no luck and vivintsolar made it so easy even though I was super skeptical once I saw the solar design plans I was just happy my house qualified for their program. My friends and several neighbors have Vivintsolar installed and they all like it so when the gentlemen came by to see if qualify I open to it but unsure if I would save money because my bills aren't high and I already have discount with socal-edison This guy worldchangesolar james really knew his stuff and expalained it to me it just made sense. I'm really happy he was so patient with us and he lives local if I ever need him. It was just so clear this was the right company for me I highly recommend Vivintsolar it was so easy and great savings!

Very Professional Service

The install crew was very professionally and knew exactly what they were doing. They communicated the whole process very quickly from start to finish. They cleaned up after the job was done and left no mess behind. They worked through the cold and wet weather to make sure the job was done on time. Solar Dreams come true!

My experience with Vivint Solar was a pleasure and the reason was my Rep Thomas Court! He worked tirelessly to make my solar dreams come true. I have always been a conservative user and didn't qualify for the program at first... but Tommy Solar( as I nicknamed him) never gave up! I just had my install a few days ago so I have to wait for final inspections but look forward to flipping the switch to solar! Thanks Tommy Solar!!
