Sunrun crew arrived on time and with little fanfare. Everyone was cheerful and professional at every opportunity. Crew completed all the installation work in less than 7 hours. Outstanding! Even clean-up was so complete, there was no trace left behind. Looking forward to turning the system on once Nat'l Grid and the city catch up with our needs.

EXCELLENT & HONEST COMPANY

I'm not sure about everyone else's experience but I had an amazing one with William Huber. He didn't try and just tell me what I wanted to hear to close the deal. He worked with me, answered EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY QUESTIONS IN DETAIL, and he was happy to wait while I got other quotes. I didn't feel pressured or lied to. With everything going on in the world, he was able to explain why Sunrun's pricing is higher than others and my service time was exactly what he said it would be. Other companies quoted me lower and told me how horrible Sunrun was. Had I gone with one of the other companies that gave me lower quotes and time frames, I would still not have solar on my roof. Thank you Sunrun and William for doing the research, the hard work and staying honest. I paid for a premium service and thats exactly what I got. COULD. NOT. BE. HAPPIER!

Very Pleased.

My sunrun experience has been very pleasing thus far. The rep I dealt with, who was a direct sunrun employee laid everything out on the table for me. Showed me what “offset” is and went though my typical power use so that I had a chance to design my solar to the size I wanted. He went over the contract in full with me as well. We did a PPA because of not wanting to spend a huge sum putting solar on the house. Sure, the contract is mainly written to protect the company, as are all solar contracts. However it’s not a bad contract. We’re locked in to a certain price that can only go up 3% each year and we like that. We’ve seen huge spikes in pricing for power over the last 10 years living in ca and have no say in it. 3% isn’t bad at all. Plus we know for the next 25 years what our bill will be. Overall it’s been great and we’ve yet to have any issues. At least 5 homes on our street are using sunrun and they all had nothing bad to say. My only recommendation is to NOT use 3rd party sunrun dealers. We had multiple dealer guys come to our house and offer us sunrun, then if we had any negative feedback they would offer another company. Weird business model to allow these types of employees that are quick to offer another company while wearing sunrun clothes? Stay away from these types and go with a direct sunrun employee.

Process was very smooth

We have been very impressed with the entire process. Our account manager took care of everything for us from the HOA to the county permits. What impressed me most was after we were installed a few month the account manager emailed, text and called us letting us know a new incentive that started. I'm so happy he did that. We would have lost over $1000 if we waiting to register. I believe that to be a testimony to how well they care about thier customers. My experience in Virginia has been extremely good. I wouldn't go with any other company. Others in my neighborhood I've talked to with other companies have been forgotten and knew nothing about the state incentive. I for one would be very upset if I lost $1000. Thank you sunrun

Treat yourself

Sunrun is an amazing company. My pg&e bill was almost 500$ and now I only pay 125$ a month. They literally kept me in my home. The service has been professional and timely. I could not be happier. And their APP to monitor the system is brilliant.

Great service very informativen

We always thought that solar was out of our price range but then we met Emi Doncheva. Emi was walking my neighborhood while I was working in my yard. She met with me and then came back to meet with my husband. We are on a fixed income and always worried about the price increases with SDG&E. Emi was very professional and knowledgeable. She explained different programs until we found the right one for us. We felt very comfortable choosing a plan. Emi walked us through the process and we would not hesitate to recommend her. All of the Sunrun employees were very polite, knowledgeable, on schedule, professional and courteous. If we had any questions they always gave us an answer. We are extremely happy with Emi and Sunrun and highly recommend them.

Excellent Experience and System Performance!!

On a shopping trip to COSTCO, we talked with the Sunrun Rep at their kiosk and found out Sunrun had the Tesla Powerwall batteries. We had the sales rep Jeromy Turner come by and explain everything to us. We found out everyone in the company were W-2 and not on commission and all the workers were Sunrun employees not outside contractors. The Site Inspector arrived 2 weeks later and inspected our roof and reported that we needed our roof repaired due to the underlayment being dried out and cracking plus 15 tiles needed replaced, (our roof was 24 yrs old). Sunrun modified our contract to include roof repairs and 2 weeks later the roofers arrived and did a Lift and Relay repair on our roof. After they were finished, they reported to me that the flashing alongside our bedroom, (above the living room where we have had leak issues), was lifted and they repaired it. A week later the electricians arrived to install the backup breaker panel and during that process we only lost power to our house for 5 minutes, because they rerouted one circuit at a time, (I have a Saltwater Reef Aquarium with $10000 of corals so was happy they did it this way). Sunrun arrived on 18 Oct 2021 to do our install and because I am an Electronics Technician, I watched a majority of the install. The crew were very professional, cordoned off the area with caution tape and treated our property as if it were their own. The supervisor showed me the mounting brackets that had sealing rings on them and how the brackets would fit under the tiles without having to cut the tiles. They installed our Tesla Powerwall batteries on the east side of our house as they could not put them in the garage due to safety regulations. They routed the conduit through our attic to make the installation look good and not have to run the conduit across the roof and make the installation look bad. The installation supervisor hooked the system up to our Wi-Fi and put the Tesla app onto my phone so we could monitor the system performance and Powerwall charge state. All the Permit and Utility Agreement paperwork were handled by Sunrun, and we only had to sign one document for our utility SRP. Our system was activated on Nov 18, 2021, and our first electric bill for December was only $54, which included the $35 mandatory grid access fee. Overall, we are very happy with our system and Sunrun's service. I have recommended them to several of our neighbors and highly recommend them to anyone else. I feel the negative reviews are due to the leftover Vivint employees not meshing well with Sunrun's corporate environment.

Great Workmanship- First Class

Installers were very professional and attentive to what I wanted. They were real first class workers that treated my home like theirs. Conduit was run nicely. Everyone has been responsive. My bill every month will be under $75 which is quite the improvement. System was turned on in under a month after install which I understand is faster than usual. New to solar and excited to see how the next few years pan out.

The whole process was simple. I decided to go with the PPA and am saving money monthly and haven't had to pay a penny for the system. Install crew did a great job too

Total professionalism from start to finish

I had heard good feedback from friends who went solar with Sunrun, so I decided to go with them. The entire process was smooth from start to finish, I was kept in the loop by my salesperson and had the proper expectations set. When my system got installed in mid-September and I still got a $50 APS bill, I knew that was because I didn't have any credits built up (which is still down from $300). Reading some of these reviews, it seems to me that most people who are upset did not have the proper expectations for how their utility works with solar. I would recommend Sunrun to my friends and family.

Great experience, great product

I was referred to Sunrun by a neighbor. We had done quite a bit of research on solar before making a decision, and chose Sunrun because we felt they were not another fly by night solar installer, as so many of them are! Our process was very smooth. We had a sales consultation at our home, and the consultant, Tom, was knowledgable and took the time to listen to our needs. She clearly proposed a system for us, and we decided to go for it. The rest of the process was smooth, communication was clear. At one point there was a handoff from a coordinator to the branch office, and we didn't hear from them for a day or so, but once they reached out again, we felt better. It took about 2 months from start to finish to have a fully functional installed system. It has run beautifully and is doing what was promised.

Everything from start to finish was well organized and went smoothly. I was particularly impressed by the installation crew. They were very informative and polite and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend SunRun for solar!

I don't know how you could improve on that team. They were great and very respectful and very efficient. Dan sold me on the idea, Melvin the electrician was awesonme and the foreman and the other worker were great too.

I had solar installed by Thiago and Sunrun 2 years ago. Its saved me a lot of money on my bills and the black panels look great on my roof. I called Thiago yesterday because one of the panels seemed cracked and he came today to check them out and scheduled to get the panel replaced. Thank you Thiago and Sunrun!!
