Valerie was great at explaining everything & keeping us updated. The panels were put on it 1 day which was great. They even worked on a Saturday since we teach at home during the week. The pigeon guards were added in less than 1 hours during the week but no noise. I can't wait for us to start saving!

Not Much To Review Yet

I feel it’s too soon to honestly write a review. The panels were installed yesterday, however they haven’t been connected yet. The install went ok. The guys were were nice enough, they did have their music on a little bit loud while they were installing, but overall I would say it went fine. That’s really all I can say at this point, the ball is just starting to roll!

VIVANT SOLAR POWER

I like some of the savings that have been generated. But, they have their escalating costs that just annoy me. 4% on average per 12 months...If I had to do it again, I would have just bought mine out right.

Solar install

I got my panels installed yesterday and the crew was great. On time, very professional and quick! The panels also look great too. I am excited to start saving on my electrical bill!!!

Great experience

We chose Vivint because we wanted to avoid the expense of solar but still get the benefits of less expensive and cleaner power. Chris L did a wonderful job explaining all the details and regularly contacted us with updates.

Bumpy start had nice turn around

I first talked to a rep 2 years ago who got me interested in solar. At that point decided not to do it. Was approached this year by new rep. He explained the company and what would be done. He was new to the company and his approach was to fast and didn't like his answers. Spoke to customer service who got me a new rep. After that it was smooth sailing. All questions were answered quickly and with confidence. The installers were very professional. They first walked us through step by step what would happen that day. They finished in the time they said. The panels are low to the roof which makes them not a eye soar from the street. Can't wait for it to be turned on.

Finally gave in!

I had issues setting up the account with corporate online but prior to that and after that the process has been smooth! The fact that I haven’t had to speak with anyone since then and I just saved $100 on my first month I would consider this a good decision. I have no complaints!

Lengthy Process..

Thiago was awesome. The process took a long time, Thiago always returned my calls answered my questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better representative. Hopefully the process does not take so long for other customers. Glad that my system is turned on!

A great experience with Vivint Solar

In an effort to stave off the rising cost of electricity our family sought renewable solar energy with the added benefit of reducing our carbon footprint. Several companies were working in our neighborhood to sign up customers for their solar service, we were lucky enough to find Vivint Solar. After researching the competitors, we landed on Vivint as the most trustworthy and experienced in the space. Then we were lucky enough to meet up with Vivint Solar's sales representative Christopher Selverian. The company, and particularly Chris, have been amazing to work with. From learning about the product and different opportunities to the installation of the panels, as well as post-installation, Chris was and continues to be there for us making the customer experience an excellent one. Although we are facing an issue currently regarding a quote for the removal of the solar panels, storing them and reinstalling them as we need to have our roof replaced, Chris is working to resolve the discrepancy surrounding what we were told when signing with Vivint Solar and what is being quoted to us now, and we are confident that Vivint Solar will do the right thing for its customer. Our cost savings have been noticeable and we are extremely happy with the results. I would be happy and secure in recommending Vivint Solar to anyone interested in going solar!.

Easy Process

The overall process of switching to solar went much better than I could have expected. While the process does take time to go through I had little issues and Camilo was always keeping in contact to let me know how things were going. The installation of the panels and the crew that came to the house were great. I just recently got the panels turned on and am very excited to see what happens in the coming months!

I'm liking my panels..

From the start I had no gripes about Vivint. The representative, Dallin made it a walk through the park for me. The process was fairly easy and Dallin was very informative.

The installation was a bit of a hassle with a few technical glitches but now that everything is up and running it has performed wonderfully.

Pleased Thus Far

From the first contact to the present time, we have been pleased with Vivant Solar. Our first company representative, Dustin, has been patient with question after question.... providing answers with additional information if necessary and/or researching an issue when he did not know. Responses were timely and often provided with web links to assist in our own research. When the day finally arrived for installation, we found the crew assigned to us to be friendly, respectful and professional. As the job took a day longer than expected, they went out of their way to accommodate my work schedule. Soon after, we received an e-mail and phone contact from our assigned Company Rep moving forward (Dustin has indicated his desire to remain a contact if needed). We can only assume that the process from this point on will be managed as well.

So far all is going well. Very informative and friendly personnel. The equipment was put on in one day and passed all the city requirements and A.P.S. Now the true test will be in how much we save each month. I don't expect to see a big difference until April.

Satisfaction

Our install took place on February 20, 2016 and we were told to expect 3 to 6 months before we could turn the system on. Sure enough May 20, we received an e-mail authorizing our start up. The system install, information from our rep, and everyone we have spoken to at the Vivent company have been thorough, detailed and interested in making sure we are satisfied with all involved. We have been experiencing a 90% savings on our electric bills and presently carry a debit with Vivent. I am very satisfied with the service we have received.

Install

Sales with Cole was great, install went quickly and very proffesional. SIte was kept clean and flagged off to prevent anyone from walking under the work area. Only thing that is an issue at this time is that the electrical has failed inspection and we are waiting for it to be resolved and inspected again.

Excellent Customer Service Experience

The install went smooth. The crew leader was very helpful explaining everything to my wife and I. The best part of the experience was with Richard, the regional district manager. He has been responsive, helpful, and courteous the entire process. Suggestions for improvement: minor - install team left some trash major - the customer success manager contact assigned after the install has not been responsive. I have defaulted to contacting the regional service manager who helps out. He is why I give post sales support 2 stars instead of 0.

The installation was a breeze. The crew was on time. They were profession and knowledgable about the product. They were able to answer all my questions and the job looks professionally done. They clean up and ensure everything was explain to me about next steps before they end the job!!!

The initial process was great! What sucked was the installation. The installers left debry all over my home. There was paper, cardboard, electric wire, and metal clips. I had to police the property myself before mowing the lawn. Also the system can not be turned on until BG&E installs a new meter. I am anxious to begin saving.

After a long wait for connecting the system, it is working. It been more than 3 weeks can't for the benefit to start. Had a fantastic sales rep (Lorenzo) helping answering many questions & details about the system.

So far so good!

Had our system installed on 12/31....took some time for inspections, NGrid to approve, and local red tape (I know...shocking!). But we went "live" in the middle of March. Sales process was transparent and handled very professionally. Installation went very smoothly and so far the system as performed at/above our expectations. We were locked in at a rate below NGrid and our overall electric bills have been reduced for the 1st two months the system has been running. Well worth it!

Great customer service

Anytime I called my rep he was very helpful. They never misled me and set very solid expectations. It took 6 months to get hook up, exactly what my rep told me. I have referred them to friends and even though not everyone qualified they all were very pleased with the service they received.

Solar panels installation by Vivint Solar

Installation of these new panels is already making a huge difference in cost saving as well as helping the environment. Just received energy credit from PSEG as well. Sales person was very curtius and helpful in explaining the process and answering the question. All of the work was done on time and very professionally. It was a very easy process from signing the initial documents to taking the ownership. Didn't have to worry about any processes or approval from town. Vivint did all the work. Very happy with the service.
