Unfortunately, the operator named Charles decided that it was easier to continue disconnecting our conversation than to tell me whether or not Sun Valley Solar was interested in providing a fee for a commercial solar design project. So I couldn't even get to the point of talking with someone who could assist me. I'd love to be able to give a review based on the company's solar abilities, but the customer service was lacking to the point that I couldn't even get there. Hopefully, you all have a better operator experience than I did. Sun Valley Solar came highly recommended to me, but I guess I won't have the opportunity to find out.

My experience with Sun Valley Solar (SVSS) was superb. I found the sales (Mark), project management (Adrianne), installation (Fernando), and final acceptance (Bill) personnel all competent and very customer friendly. Only negative for me (not fault of SVSS) was waiting 2 weeks after install for APS meter installation. I highly recommend SVSS for anyone considering residential rooftop solar.

Overall I was very pleased with the company. They installed my system in early 2021, instllation was smooth and on-time. Did a great job. Generating good electricity. Unfortunately in early July 2022 my Solar Edge Inverter simply died and after calling them they diagnosed that the Inverter needed to be replaced. Well It is a full month after notifying them and I still have no idea of when to expect the replacement inverter. I was informed that I could call SolarEdge myself to make an inquiry, quess what their customer support line isn't working and they have not returned my call. My latest call to Sun Valley was a recording saying that no one was avialable but if I leave a message they would get back to me within 48 hours. I am now losing money on my investment.

I HIGHLY recommend SVSS for anyone considering a solar installation. SVSS recently installed a 10.08kW system on my roof and is connected to SRP. From start to finish, the team of people I worked with were diligent, knowledgeable, hard-working and just an absolute pleasure to work with. Bobby spent 3 hours educating me on the complex SRP residential price plans and what options made sense with solar. His time was invaluable, and so much easier for me to sort through the other solar estimates that I was getting. As a mechanical engineer, I really appreciated his time and willingness to sort through the details. What was also clear is that SVSS is in it for the long-term. Not all solar companies intend to stay in business beyond the solar rebate period. This became even more clear as I began speaking to representatives from other solar companies. SVSS also has a commercial solar business that will keep them in business beyond the solar rebate period if it does not get extended. All of this made SVSS, the clear choice for me. Adrianne, my project manager, was on top of things from the start. Everything was scheduled quickly and efficiently. Due to it’s age, my roof required preparation prior to the solar installation. I was educated on how to roll that into my solar installation costs for the tax rebate. Alonzo (work-site supervisor) and Adrianne also identified an issue with the roofing preparation work during the installation. They brought it to my attention and the roofing company agreed it was less than ideal and repaired the issue. I would not of know of the issue potentially for years. This is just one example of how thorough and conscientious this team of people are. All of the workers I came in contact with were very knowledgeable and professional during the installation. Bill, the technician who commissioned the system spent nearly 4 hours on-site. He spent a great deal of that time explaining the inverter and demand management system that I would be monitoring. Also, expectations regarding system efficiency and inverter clipping. In addition, I circled back around with Bobby to make sure I understood the system size and how to get the most out of my system. Both super knowledgeable and thorough with their explanations. I’ve always wanted my very own power plant, and the process that I went through with SVSS made it all the more enjoyable. There were a lot of steps in this process and each Sun Valley Solar representative (Bobby, Chris, Bill) I worked with was punctual, explained each step, and made sure they answered all my questions (even when I asked multiple times!). My coordinator, Misty, was exceptionally helpful and kept me informed of all steps and worked through several APS schedule challenges with a much appreciated sense of humor (I rated "On Schedule" a three out of five but this was entirely due to APS requirement changes after system installation). If you are thinking about installing a solar system, this is the company you want to partner with!

SVS promptly returned my request to inspect my failed PV system with an SMA inverter and older Sunpower panels. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed inverter. It lasted 13 years (outside of the 10 year warranty). SVS helped find a replacement unit but unfortunately was not fully compatible with the older panels (Positive grounding). They continued to look for a solution although the solution turned out to be a refurbished SMA inverter that they did not supply as I found one on Ebay. They assured me of compatibility. Unit installed and back on line !! At the end of the day, they were courteous and big shout outs to Justin and Evan for their professional service and excellent technical and logistical advice. When my PV system times out in 12 years (25 year system) I know my first Installer to call. But you don't need to wait. You can call them right now and get started with your solar system!

We could not be more pleased with the performance of Sun Valley Solar. We had 12 panels installed two years ago and then had a battery and 6 more panels added during October of 2020. During both phases, the project manager handled all of the permitting and kept us updated on the progress of the project. The installation teams were always on time and worked efficiently, professionally, and were very "good, friendly guys". And, the system has performed at or above their estimates. We recommend this organization without any reservations.

This is the 2nd system I've purchased from SVSS. I returned because they did great on my first system. They were honest about the size of the system and didn't oversell me. They showed up when promised, did a perfect installation. The crew were clean and professional, they didn't waste time and my system worked perfectly. When I bought my new house, I called them back and they performed just like they had the last time. The APS billing method had changed since that first system and from my saleslady, Kelly, to my project manager Chris, they answered my questions honestly, worked with a difficult City Inspector and gave 5 star satisfaction. My system went live today and is working like a charm. Great company

I was about to sign up with another company to upgrade my system with an additional 7.4MW when a friend suggest I get a second quote from Sun Valley Solar. The sales manager Kelley was very responsive and professional. She suggested e.g. that I match the panels on my existing system which she said were a "best buy" in their price range and would avoid incompatibility issues, delete the bird guard (no trees that side of the house), add a sub-panel electrical box instead of replacing my existing 1-year old panel, and add a couple of extra solar panels at minimal cost to better meet my needs. Overall a better system and thousands $ saved. Installation was also very neat and professional. My wife let the electrician know she would have preferred a different placement of the new sub-panel within our garage. The electrician came back a few days later with extra conduit piping to move the sub-panel and rewire selected fuses from the kitchen and bathrooms so that my wife could reset tripped switches from inside the garage instead of the main box outside. No extra charge. I did have a problem where the new system went down a few months later during the 120 degree heat of Arizona summer. Sun Valley was responsive in quickly sending out technicians. However, it kept crashing repeatedly after each of three "fixes" over three weeks. The technicians said the manufacturer kept insisting it was an installation issue but they said they were now convinced it was a hardware issue. I called the sales rep Kelley and she quickly took charge and the next day a new improved inverter was installed. I've waited 6 months to see how the system fared before writing this review. Happily the system has been functioning now without any issues. Overall, a professional company with pleasant and responsive staff in all departments who care about the customer and their company.

All of the people at Sun Valley have been very helpful. All work hard to meet expectations. The utility was changing their solar policies so the sales person and engineer helped get the design in quickly before the deadline. Installers did a great job. I am in the mountains, a 2.5 hour drive from Sun Valley HQ. Yet they sent a person out to resolve some startup issues with SolarEdge. The weakness of for Sun Valley is not fully understanding the SolarEdge solution, and communication between sales, engineering, installers and support … plus SolarEdge. My installation involved adding panels to an existing system, new inverter (SolarEdge) and battery backup. In the sales process I asked a lot of questions (3rd solar install I have had done, most complex). But sales talked to engineering, and sales then got back to me (instead of me talking to engineering). Something got lost in translation … so the system I got was not exactly capable of what I thought. The installers know how to install and did a good job, but monitoring and such they were not familiar with … that is the service department. At the root of my concern is really the SolarEdge solution. My prior systems were SMA. SMA communicated with my home network and I had control of the inverter. With SolarEdge, it communicates to the SolarEdge server (the cloud) so both Sun Valley and myself need to work through SolarEdge. There are challenges for both of us. There are questions I still have about why SolarEdge is behaving the way it does and no one at Sun Valley has the answer … these are probably questions only SolarEdge can answer. The people at Sun Valley did a good job and I recommend them … but ask a lot of questions to make sure what you think you are getting is what you are getting.

I picked Sun Valley based on reviews and research, and was very pleasantly surprised. Sales/Integrator Joey Chiarello was excellent. He even returned a call on his July 4 holiday. They did not try to oversell and recommended a system that is working great.

From the very beginning, Sun Valley Solar was outstanding to work with. We competed three companies and SVS provided the best solution. Their installation crew and follow-up technical team were outstanding as well. I recommend them highly.

Working with Sun Valley Solar Solutions was a pleasure from the first discussions at their kiosk in the park to the final commissioning of my system. Their systems integrator, Mark Greene, did a great job of explaining how solar worked, the interface with our utility company (SRP) and the savings we could expect. I talked with several of the SRP preferred suppliers after talking with Mark but felt Sun Valley would provide the best installation and support services. Total time for the project was under two months from signing the contract to commissioning. The Sun Valley Project Manager, Rebecca Van Horn, kept me up to date every step of the way and ensured I fully understood each step of the process. All promised dates were kept and the installation actually completed early. The SRP commissioning was completed with no issues. At commissioning, the Sun Valley representative gave me a brief tutorial and ensured I understood how my system works. My system has been up and running for three months with no issues. I would highly recommend Sun Valley Solar Solutions to anyone considering a solar system for their home.

We selected Sun Valley Solar Services after soliciting quotes from several companies. We chose them based on price, reputation, and the responsiveness of the company to our questions. Mark Greene was thorough in presenting the company's quote and educating us on options. He took the time to understand our goals and provide a system that met our objectives. The system was installed and operational in 2 months, which was excellent. We are almost at the end of our first month of operation, and the reduction in our CO2 emissions and savings on our electrical bill is exciting to see!

Incredible crews, both the electrical and panels. They were fast and efficient. Panels in one day the electrical and initial startup took two days. All good. THree weeks later SRP and Sunn Valley came out for startup. And we are generating power! The second day after startup an issue with a ground wire being loose was fixed. Thank you all for a job well done. 6 Stars if it was available!

Initially we had a friend whom we believe in and they recommended them. After our initial meeting with them (which lasted about 2 hours), they made it very clear what the solar systems would do for us and what to expect including a detailed analysis as to how the system worked. Their follow through and follow up from the date we signed the contract through the commissioning of the unit was wonderful. Would recommend them to anyone thinking about a solar system and highly recommend them for the straight forward communications.

I received estimates from three different companies and what separated Sun Valley Solar from the rest was their attention to detail and responsiveness even before we were ender contract. Throughout my install, everyone was professional and made sure my needs were met. I did my research for many weeks before contacting anyone. Getting quotes was next and talking to installers about the equipment they use. The people at SunValleySolar were always helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Also very patient and willing to pout time aside to answer my questions. This was before I signed anything. Once I settled on them and their equipment, (solaredge demand manager, LGCHEM battery and SilFab Panels) the scheduling and preparation could begin. Their coordinator handled everything for setting up the various install steps and system tweaks afterwards. All the install crews were great and the whole process of install from start to finish went very smoothly. Now keep in mind that SunValleySolar is very busy. So don't except this all to happen within a few days or weeks. Even when the install is done, you still have to wait for the county inspector and electric utility to give their approval before the system is operational. My install probably took about 3 months until I was fully online. Looking back at the choices I made and all the help I received from SunValleySolar, I don't even want to think about how it might have went if I picked a cheaper company.

As a project manager myself, I recognize and appreciate great communication. Sun Valley Solar kept us informed every step of the way through the purchase, permit, scheduling, and installation. Very important and very well done. We had our roof re-done immediately before the solar install and our roofer came back to inspect afterwards. His feedback was "best solar install I have ever seen". I have to agree. And when we requested a change to the routing of the conduit, Sun Valley Solar immediately complied and resolved to our complete satisfaction. We acquired four estimates. Two with companies recommended by SRP (Sun Valley was one) and two with companies not on the recommended list by SRP. Sun Valley and the other recommended company advised 3 kW systems. The other two recommended 10 kW systems. Due to the SRP rate schedule, the larger systems would never be paid back in their or our lifetime. The smaller systems require use of a demand manager, and we liked the proposal from Sun Valley the best. Their installers were very professional and used safety harnesses when working on the roof. We definitely recommend Sun Valley Solar Solutions.

I purchased my solar panels from Sun Valley Solar and couldn't be happier with the result. Rather than pushing me in one direction or another, they had all the data available for me to evaluate ROI on numerous options, from leasing to purchasing, and various panel types and configurations. I never felt any pressure, and was free to explore many alternatives to arrive at an informed decision of my own. When it came time for installation, the team was equally informative and helpful. Communication was very good. My project manager Victoria is a gem! The installers even painted the conduits to match my house before they left. So far, production is much higher than estimated. I had a 8.6 kW system installed by Sun Valley Solar Solutions on my home in 2016. I was aiming for as close to 100% consumption as possible. I did not receive any bills from APS for the first couple of months. Then, when I start receiving bills they were between $20-30 for well over a year until APS changed their rates. Even after the APS rate change my bills only went up to $30-40.. I have been nothing but happy with my decision to purchase solar. The company was professional, the install was quality work, and the installers were professional. I especially enjoy the app on my phone to watch my daily solar production and year side by side comparison. I would highly recommend Sun Valley Solar Solutions to anyone thinking about solar for their home.

We LOVE our solar solution!!! We had a great End to End experience with our Solar Installation process. After dealing with 3 other solar companies, I had elected to call Sun Valley Solar Solutions directly. Fortunately, I was able to be connected with my Sales Guy, Joey. He was very professional and patient with me through the whole process. I have a software engineering background, so I can be quite anal when it comes to math or engineering numbers. I challenged every number Joey through out at me... He answered all me questions, if he didn't know himself, he got the ansewr from his technical team. After 4 weeks of back and forth, I finally gave the green light on the project... We absolutely love our solar panels. We loved it so much I was able to referr many of my friends to Joey as well.
