They left us without any idea of what to do (not shocked they were HORRIBLE to deal with) so I reached out to the manufacturer for Sunny-Boy inverters and they referred me to Solartime USA for assistance. From the first conversation with Alexis I felt like we were not going to have to scrap our 5 year old system. She was very professional, friendly and took ownership of our situation. They did not install this system but she made me feel as if I was a long standing client. The technicians that have been to our house have blown us away from what we were accustomed to with O3. The technicians were knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and skilled! They were able to isolate the issue and get our inverter replaced quickly. They handled everything for us and we did not receive any surprises with what they quoted. After my husband spent many hours researching and talking to several companies, we decided to go with SolarTime. This is a family owned company and made him feel very comfortable in every interaction. Most of the initial interactions and conversations he had were with Jason, and Jason kindly and thoroughly answered every question (and my husband had a LOT of questions). Kathryn, our install manager, kept us in the loop the entire process once the install process began. The entire process from when we signed the contract to when we were producing our own energy only took about 5 weeks (and that was with us pushing the installation of the panels back 1 week because we were going to be out of town when they initially wanted to install them). I was very skeptical when we started to think about spending the money to install solar panels, but company has been great to work with, and I would recommend them to anyone who is ready to start significantly cutting back on your energy bills!

I've had my installation for about a year now. During the install, they worked with me to address all of my concerns. In the end the system is as I like it. The install was earlier than expected and took about 2 days for a majority of the install. They surprised me with an annual inspection to check my system's performance.

They installed the system on my rooftop in 2022. They were very cost competitive and efficient. The system they recommended and installed has worked great so far.

We are very pleased with our new solar installation from Solartime USA. We researched getting solar panels on the roof of our three bedroom home here in Arlington, Texas for over one year before deciding to move forward with Solartime. We talked with numerous companies and learned a great deal about the various options over that year. We were very impressed with Martyna from Solartime and the way she patiently answered all of our questions without pushing us to make a purchase. All the people we worked with from Solartime were top notch, from the salespeople to the installers to the billing experts and customer service reps. Our 13.7 kW system was installed in March 2022 and since then we have paid $0 in electric bills! In fact we have a credit with our electric company right now in July of 2022 since we've put back more power to the grid than we have consumed. We are very happy that in these days of rising energy prices our energy price will remain fixed since we locked it in by going solar. The warranty coverage on the system is also great. I highly recommend their honesty, integrity and excellence in sizing and installing your system! (Don't forget about the 26% federal tax credit which you can get if you install your system in 2022).

I came across Solartime through EnergySage and went with them based on their pricing and professionalism. After they provided multiple proposals with various options and we discussed the pros/cons of each, I ended up deciding on an 8kW system using SMA Power Optimizers and REC 400W Alpha Pure Black panels. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire process; answering all of my various questions and proactively providing guidance on each next step of the process. The install itself was incredibly smooth, and I was generating power before I knew it. If I ever end up moving and needing another solar install in the area, I would absolutely contact Solartime first.

We are so pleased with our choice to go with Solartime to install our new system. From start to finish this company was a true pleasure to work with. Their sales team was amazing, and gave us straight forward honest advice and helped us design a system that worked for our situation, and did not attempt to up-sell and lets us make a decision on our own time. When we were ready to move forward, they honored their prices and got straight to work. They helped negotiate the HOA, city permits, all needed documents to our power company etc. and we were on the install calendar in no time. Once the worked started, they completed the install in a couple of days, and ensure everything was up and functional. We spent more time waiting for the power company to swap out the meter than the install took. Solartime also installed a solar pool heating system at the same time, which has been impressive at heating our small pool. The main office is super helpful and followed up with us along the way and after the install. They provide guidance on all documents needed for the tax credits which went very smoothly. We are so excited about our system especially as energy costs continue climbing. Don’t hesitate, let Solartime take care of your project and help you become energy independent!

They did an excellent job from beginning to end, even during the turbulence of the pandemic. Already had the panels for about a year with no complaints. We'll see how they hold up long term, but the company has been checking up on me here and there post installation, which I greatly appreciate.

Solartime USA has been a great company to work with on our brand new roof solar array. The gentleman we spoke with in our first meeting (over the phone), was clearly very knowledgeable about all things solar. He gave us scientific, clear answers to our numerous questions. Unlike some other companies, none of his answers were equivocations or placations. He wasn’t just telling us what he thought we wanted to hear. He listened closely to our needs and what we wanted from solar power, and provided a wonderful panel layout. The company made adjustments to accommodate our requests (we wanted an outlet connected to the solar system for power outages, which moved the inverter panel into the garage instead of on the exterior wall), and the end result is exactly what we wanted. The install took less than one day and Solartime USA handled all the permits, HOA approval, setting up the meter swap with the electric company, and the inspection with the city. It couldn’t have been easier. Their customer service is terrific! All the people we have spoken to or worked with at Solartime USA have been great. Everyone is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We love the app that tracks the solar power generated by our roof panels. It is outstanding to know exactly how much power is generated in all types of weather. I highly recommend Solartime USA!

I compared and talked with about 8 different solar installers. All were well versed in their products and answered my questions. Most were within a cost range a couple being outliers on the expensive side. Really hard to make a decision but solartime showed me that customer service was first and making an extra buck was not. Every employee had this same customer service attitude. The install process was painless. I have had my system since December 2020 and have had zero problems.

I priced a few different companies. I chose Solartime because I liked what I heard about the company philosophy as well as they use Panasonic panels. I've had the panels for a few months and am fairly happy.

For those of you considering Solar power, please give Solartime a chance to earn your business. In my case, I had very specific needs in ground mounts. They were the only company that I could find that would do a roof/patio cover and/or raised ground mount project. Very professional and caring from Martyna to Jason the Sales rep and Dora the project manager and the hardworking installers. They listened and designed a system to fit my lifestyle. My electric bill has gone from a few hundred dollars to a negative balance or just a few dollars. Plus, I have a usable space outside. I am so happy, happy, happy!

Initially we were happy with their service. But we are 2 years from installation now, and are not producing anywhere near the amount of solar we were "guaranteed". Customer service is slow to respond to issues that have come up over the past 2 years, and still has not addressed the underproduction issue after reaching out several times. I did a ton of research and met with just about every solar installer before we chose this company, but now I'm regretting this decision. Buyer beware.

Company was very responsive and installation was surprisingly fast. I could text both my installer and my project manager along the way with any issues. Most of the waiting was for the utility to install the PV meter. We needed a couple of return visits to iron out some issues, but ultimately we got everything resolved.

It's officially been 1 year since I had my solar panels installed. The initial install was a little rocky because the company was so busy with installs. But through it all the folks at Solartime were wonderful. I get excited to receive my energy bill every month so I can see how much I DON'T owe. It's great! What has impressed me the most though, is that this past month when I changed my internet in my home, I completely forgot about the solar needing to have internet access. Within 2 days of the internet change, I received a call from SolarTime asking if everything was OK and letting me know they could no longer monitor my system. WOW! I know they told me they would constantly be monitoring it, but to have them make good on that promise blew me away. Not only that, but one of their employees came out to help me reconnect the solar to the internet since I couldn't remember how to do it myself. That is outstanding Customer Service right there. I have been thinking about solar for years and in other homes I have owned. I even looked into it a few times. I had begun looking again when I was approached through Costco about going Solar. I began doing research and decided that the company that approached me was not for me. All companies had looked at felt high pressure, or didn't want to set up the system or where not as open with their responses as I would like. Several of them wanted me to complete a installation contract before getting a quote. I signed one and submitted the cancellation almost immediately as it made me feel like something was not right. Then I found SolarTime USA. This has actually been a really positive experience. Jason DeFreese was my sales contact and was very open to my questions, prompt with his responses, and I was able to verify everything that he told me about going solar. There was no high pressure tactics and I didn't have to sign a contract to get my quote. I decided to go solar and they handled all of the paperwork. Jason put me into contact with Dora my scheduler and she kept me informed of everything. The installation crew came and I am very particular about my home but they were very courteous, respectful of my home, and did really good work. This has been a great experience and I am very pleased to have gone with SolarTime USA. I hope this will be the same in 5 years, but as of now this has been nothing but an exceptional experience.

Solartime performed the project in time framed promised, using top performing equipment for our house. They handled the entire job, including initial consult, design, home visit, permitting, installation and post installation service very well. Very knowledgeable and professional company. Our system was not installed by Solartime, but they have serviced it for us after our system stopped working in May. The company that installed our system never got back with us on coming out and fixing it. Gregory came out and remedied the issue while being on the phone with the company that makes this inverters. They were very professional. Came out on time and fixed everything so our system is producing again after being down for 3 weeks! Will definitely recommend them to our friends and when we are ready to expand the system we will go with Solartime this time!!!

I had my ground mount built at the end of the year. I didnt want to put anything on my new roof and since the space allowed, i decided to go for the ground mount. My bills look amazing now and I am a very happy solar owner. The company did an amazing job from the start to the end. We had some internet problems at the beginning - the monitoring app was loosing the production data but after troubleshooting we figured out all the problems and now I have no issues! All data is always there and I am just looking at it any time I get a chance comparing and calculating - my new toy! I recommend Solartime USA to anyone!

I installed my system in 2018 - it is a 7.2kW and I couldn't be more happy!! My roof wasnt perfect for the panels but after explaining to me exactly what we could do, we put some on the north and all we could fit to the south. I was a little worried because as Jason explained the south is the best side, i wasnt sure if the bill will be covered as expected. After few months I started seeing that my bill was getting lower and lower!! Now, after knowing how much I am saving I am thinking to add a panel to get rid of my water bill ha! The whole family is great! Very responsive and helpful! I am so glad i picked them!

After long shopping for a reasonable solar provider, we finally ended up choosing Solartime. We could not bee more happy! Our bills are to minimal, we are only charged basic required amounts from the electric provider. Solartime was very professional at what they were doing. Everything was completed in a timely manner. I went Solar in Sept 2019. Best Solar company in my opinion. Locally based in NTX. I shopped around with 15 different solar companies and they were the best and I went with them. PROS: -Great communication. -Willing to beat competitions prices. -Wonderful sales team, treat you as a person and not a dollar sign. -Present several easy to understand proposals to consider. -Continue to keep in contact a year after install rather than never hear from them again once you sign the paperwork. -Incentives to get neighbors and family to sign up are very generous. -Throws quarterly customer appreciation events like bowling. -Willing to throw neighborhood parties to get you referrals to help pay off your system quicker. I haven't had one single negative issue with them to date.

Solar and Solartime USA is a must! I just had panels installed in Jan and haven't had a bill since Feb. I have kept my house during the day at 72 and at night 69-70 degrees. Solartime USA has some great customer service, is like a family and were the only ones when I initially called (several companies) for an estimate that were aware of the Allen restrictions! My electric company charges $24.44 a month for net metering, taxes and fees. I will have a reduced Aug bill but next year, I won't have any more bills since I will have fall-Spring to build up credits! The big thing is to verify with your current electric company (or search for a new one) they will apply 1 for 1 credits on buy back. I peeked (before this summer) about 1200 kWh credits. As I still produce electricity but use more during the summer because of the AC unit, the electric company uses my credits. For my July to Aug bill, I will still have about 350-400 kWh credits which will still offset my Aug-sept bill. As previously stated, next year I will be completely covered since I will be able to build credits during Fall-Spring moving forward.

Working with Solartime USA was such a great experience and they did a phenomenal job. I love solar!! Seeing an electric bill in the middle of summer only cost me $13 is beyond my expectations! I used to be $230 or higher. I was able to finance the system and get the tax credit without any problems. They did the leg work of getting the permits needed and all the staff from Jason to Heike, and the guys who did the installation were absolutely awesome to work with! Thanks again for a job well done!

We have found that Solartime USA personnel are very knowledgeable and great people to work with. Our system was installed about a year ago and generates enough power (kWh) to more than offset the energy consumed by our all electric home of approximately 2,100 sq. ft.. So far, going solar has been a great decision, it is reliable, and well on its way to "more than" returning our investment over a reasonable period of time.

Solartime USA has been a great company to work with. The company has a courteous, professional staff that present themselves as a company you can have confidence in purchasing from. Each and every individual I encountered was thoughtful in their duties and responsibilities. From initial sales interaction to installation and tech I have been very pleased with their customer service. After some research, I found the components of our system to be quality materials and manufacturing. This is another reason I went with Solartime USA. I researched the equipment of other companies and the quality, and warranty of SolarTime USA's equipment surpassed that of their competitors. The city rebate and federal tax credit made the decision even more of a no-brainer. The bills have been great. I looked up the previous years bill for the month of July and it was $300 some odd dollars. If I remember correctly it was around $325. This year with solar my bill was a deduction from my Green Mountain Energy credit I have been building since March. I still have credit on account with Green Mountain. It was an unusual experience not having to pay for electricity during the heat of summer. We are truly enjoying our access to solar energy.

Since I remotely assisted my daughter and her husband with their solar system installation for their house in Oahu, Hawaii, I was curious if I could also benefit from a solar system. I responded to an internet post and received four responses (I had asked for only four). The very first was from Solartime. All four offered to come to my home to give me an analysis and job bid, but I decided to just work with two of them. Solartime's representative met with me at my home in Plano and did a thorough analysis and proposal. In my case, I was looking at a system purchase as an investment. He added to my solar system knowledge by educating me on aspects I had not considered. He was not at all pushy and was very focused on making me a happy customer by specifying components I requested based on what I had learned helping my daughter’s system. He did persuade me to install two central inverters with panel optimizers versus per-panel micro-inverters based on Solartime experience and industry research. I had been leaning toward the micro-inverters because my daughter’s installer recommended them. But Solartime's rep explained they don’t hold up as well in our Texas heat. He also informed me about a rebate program offered by the City of Plano, producing all required paperwork for me to submit – a fairly detailed process that had to be followed precisely to avoid being disqualified. The result was a $5000 rebate from the City of Plano. He also explained how I will receive a 30% federal income tax credit off this year’s taxes. As a result, my net cost for a high-quality 9.9 KW system will be half of my total cost. In addition, He pointed me to Green Mountain Energy as my electric retail provider since they pay the same amount for electricity my system produces as they charge for their electricity I use. For the two months with solar credits, the savings have been significant. Part of my proposal was an included radiant barrier in my attic. As a result of the 30-panel solar system and the radiant barrier, Solartime projected my total annual electric cost to be virtually zero. Solartime provided a high-quality permit submission to the City of Plano, which was accepted with no issues. Their installers did an excellent job, which I personally watched because I am retired and wanted to see how it all went together. They also were on hand to meet with the City inspector for the final inspection, answered all his questions and made some minor adjustments, resulting in a passing inspection the first time. It has been a pleasure working with Solartme’s management and employees. I really like the fact that they are both a local (Richardson) family-owned company but also one that has done many, many installations here and also internationally. And I can personally vouch for them going above and beyond to ensure I am happy with my system.

Solartime installed a 17 kW ground-mount system on my property. I have 1 acre and we thought it would be the best idea to use the land and put the panels there, rather than the roof. My electricity company is Farmers Electric so they are my only choice here in Wylie, so we decided to produce majority of my energy usage on my own. Solartime staff has been delightful to work with. My consultant Martina was very sweet and knowledgeable. She did not push or try to sell my like other sales representative I interviewed did. Permitting was very easy and smooth. After i signed my contract with them, it took about 3-4 weeks to get my system up and producing. My latest bills with FEC were May negative $8, June negative $13. I felt taken care off through the whole process, the office, especially Cathy kept me updated! They still check on me on a regular basis and we keep in touch as friends! I gained negative bills as well as family! We are so glad we chose Solartime to help us go green!

She makes herself available morning noon and night to answer texts and to make sure we are up to date with everything that is going to happen. Kathy always follows -up with the schedule of events the at least two days before they happen. Jake and Gene were wonderful during the installation. They mad sure that the crew was on time and the site looked clean at the end of the day. They both had no problem coming out to run another ethernet cable when it was determined that the original one they were using was not any good.
