Our solar experience

As a homeowner we are approached or bothered by multiple sales people, especially being new homeowners we were approached by so many contractors and businesses. I personally don’t like dealing with sales reps. The rep Damien made me feel at ease about the solar process. We had no intentions on purchasing Solar at this time but he made us feel that this was not a scam of sort and that we would be taken care of. Homeowners like to feel secure and that they are making good decisions about the money they are spending, my wife and I felt secure. Again thanks Damien for your knowledge and expertise about the product.

Solar panel install

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of everyone at Solar Energy World. Everything was done in the exact time frame they told me it would be. If they said they would be there Monday at 8am, there was someone there right on time. Our salesman, Brent Cotton was extremely upfront about our solar purchase and did not waste our time with any sort of fabrication, just facts about solar energy. We have had our panels for a year and are very pleased with our purchase.

I worked with sales Zach Kalb and the process was very smooth. He is very knowledgeable about the whole process and answered every questions I had. The system is exactly what I was looking for. Eg. micro inverters The quote was fair comparing to other 5 companies. My system just got approved and turned on today. Highly recommend.

Amazing support service

Daren walked me through every step that would take place from signing the contract till completion. Darren made sure that we understand the process thoroughly. He would reply to our queries even when he was in vacation. Great customer service. I would 100% recommend Solar Energy world VIA Daren.

Great experience!! Tom Shaw has been excellent to work with. He is super friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and ALWAYS gets back to me with any questions or concerns I may have. The installation crews were great and approachable. They went over the project before starting. Worked very hard for 2 very hot days. They met my concerns regarding hiding the electrical conduit. Their work is very neat and smooth, house looks great. The over all project has been a wonderful experience, highly recommended!!

Impressive

Thank you for making this process so easy and smooth. Everything was great from the start on 9/12/2024 to the install on 10/15. My project manager was great and answered all of my questions. He was also very knowledgeable. Everyone that supported me with scheduling was very professional and responsive. The installers showed on time and were very professional. They walked me through everything they we about to do and followed through with all of it. They were also able to complete the installation ahead of time so that was a bonus. Thank you Solar Energy World!

Very Professional

The install team was very professional. When the latest storm was approaching, even though FPL had not authorized our operation Solar Energy World sent someone out to assist us in getting operational. We were very glad to have the system operational during the power outage.

Seamless Solar Installation with Outstanding Service

We recently had a solar system installed, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish, thanks in large part to our Energy Advisor, Jeff Nachman. Jeff’s extensive knowledge and expertise as a project manager made the entire process seamless and stress-free. From our first meeting, he took the time to understand our goals and provided a thorough education on solar options. He explained everything in clear terms, from the system components to the various federal, state, and county benefits, warranties, and expected outcomes. The contracts and paperwork he provided were detailed and easy to understand, covering every aspect from start to finish. The installation of both the panels and batteries was completed on schedule, with the crews working efficiently and leaving our property in great condition. The entire project passed inspections without a hitch. Jeff and his team also handled all the necessary paperwork, including filing for net metering with the electric company, applying for state energy rebates, county tax credits, and registering the system for SRECs. They took care of the complexities of these processes, ensuring that we were never overwhelmed, and kept us in the loop by sending everything over for our review and signatures. Whenever we had questions, Jeff was just a quick text away and consistently responded promptly. We’ve been able to track our system’s performance using online and mobile apps, and we’re incredibly pleased with the results and the service we received. This company, and Jeff in particular, made our transition to solar an easy and rewarding experience, and we highly recommend them to anyone considering solar power for their home.

Thank God for sending Damien who was a complete opposite of the previous company which totally turned me off. Damien's assistance was superb. I almost decided against solar if it were not for my second presentation. in one hour I was completely turned into a believer and delighted customer. Thank you, Damien. Solar energy review

My experience with Solar Energy World has been great. Dillan has been really helpful and has guided me through the whole process. It was a lot of waiting through the permit process and installation but I’m excited to get started.

We regret going with Solar Energy World.

Price point was very good. Installation was very good. It took about a month. From planning to full installation. Service was terrible. We never saw another service team after the install to address the full operation of the solar system. It is like going to a 5 star restaurant, the waiter tells you about the 4 course menu and how amazing it is. You order it. After entree /3rd course, you never saw the waiter again. You go to the host desk and ask about your waiter. They tell you to use an email to get your last course! You have to pay NOW using phone or a computer. However, you haven't gotten your last course. How do you like that service?

From the initial quote to the final stages this was a 5 Star job. Nicholas was very easy to understand and we had a very clear picture of what the System would do for Us. Nicholas answered all of our questions and we felt no pressure at all to sign anything until we felt we were ready. We asked a lot of questions and he had answers to all of them. We had gotten several quotes prior but there was no doubt in our minds that Solar Energy World was the company to contract with. After signing, the install process was explained to Us and we were updated along the way. Installation went smoothly. The technician's were professional , maintained timelines and communicated well. We have had many contractors work for Us over the years and we consider Solar Energy World truly one of the Best ~ Bravo !

Editing the review as the company and VP has reached out and fixed everything. Review would have been a full 5 stars if no previous issues but they did rectify everything and I am happy so far. The issue was due to an employee having a long leave of absence and then my project seeming to have slipped through the cracks. Would recommend company and will refer to others who are thinking of installing solar.

Damien was amazing and hands on thru the full process. We hit a few hiccups on the homeowners end and Damien just kept right with us helping where he could. His response time was unbelievable sometimes within minutes. Even when there was a gap in timing from when the panels were fully installed, and the electrical company finally turned them on. He and his crew were right there making sure we were, happy with everything. I cannot say enough positive remarks about Damien‘s job well done and the company he works for.

Smooth installation and excellent communication

Our system from Solar Energy World has been up and running for five months now and we are extremely happy with the system. We have not had to buy any energy from the grid in March and I feel that we got excellent value for money. Along the way, each step was explained clearly and there was ample communication about the process and how things were progressing. Even when we had to delay our installation due to some chimney repairs, they were very accommodating. From the sales visit to well after the system installation Daren Weatherby is still a reliable point of contact who I can pepper with my silly questions and requests. The system looks great and has been generating at or above the levels we were told during the initial design/planning phases. Overall, we are very happy and I have recommended Solar Energy World to anyone who is interested in solar.

Phenomenal Organization and Service

I installed my first solar photovoltaic system in Wisconsin in 2007. I thought things went well with that company. My experience with Solar Energy World left the other guys in the dust. From the initial visit, through permitting, installation and inspections, every person I encountered in this company, whether in person, via email or by phone demonstrated the ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate clearly. Throughout the process I received quick responses to my questions and any concerns I raised. Rafe's dedication to making sure that I was comfortable with the system, and that I was happy with the appearance of the various devices (straight, level, visually pleasing...yes, I am "fussy") was most appreciated. Jon's dedicated response to my concerns with how things looked on the roof (hey...I'm old...I'm not getting up there) was also most appreciated. And John Yi, who patiently answered questions and shared information on Span panels (Yes! Someone who understands that I geek out on this stuff!) was singularly the best sales person I've encountered. He freely shared information without being the least bit pushy, and he coped well with the fact that we made some adjustments after the initial contract was signed. Would I recommend someone contract with them for solar? Most definitely. The fact that I didn't need to "nag" anybody through the process was refreshing to say the least. The staff know what they need to do, it's spelled out clearly in the contract, and you're kept in the loop throughout the entire process. Sit back and relax...they do their jobs with a smile and a pleasant voice.

Excellent company!

We had timonthy gutman come to talk about the solar panels. He was very patient w us took the time to explain everything about their company and their panels. Answering all of our questions. So when we decided we would use this company we had everything explained. Some sales people after they sold u and u signed the contract they disappear. Timothy stayed rght w me answering any questions i may have. He was rght w me thru the process right up til we finally got them installed. I never felt like i was a bother. He let me txt him any questions and always responded quickly. I am very pleased w this company. We have had nothing but incredible service w who ever ive contacted. For me it has been a great experience i am extremely happy w going solar. And both solar energy world along w timothy i refer to anyone complaining on their huge electric bills!! Ur electric bill shouldnt be like a mortgage payment!! The best decision we made was choosing this company and going solar!

Experience Met & Exceeded Expectations

It was truly a pleasure to work with Jeff Nachman, Senior Analyst and his team. What a competent resourceful group of individuals. The process was integrated and amazingly seamless. This company has all the details figured out. Jeff worked with us to design a ground mount system that met our goals and the esthetics we wanted for our property. The scheduling and procedure was made clear in advance and the project was completed in a timely manner. Problems were anticipated and addressed. Throughout the process Jeff and his team members were extremely responsive - In a way that rarely happens anymore. I’d highly recommend Jeff and Solar Energy World.

I am very pleased with the service and professionalism exhibited by all of the people at Solar Energy World. I chose this company over two other bids. One was lower, one was higher. Neither offered one phone number to call, for any reason, during the 30-year warranty. The 4.0kW, Q-Cell panels and number of panels used were a positive middle range with better performance, than the other bids. Although I am waiting for the final inspections and am anxious to see how well this array will provide me with better energy for myself, my neighbors, and our neighborhood.

Wonderful solar service

I worked with Jaqués Frink and he really explain the whole policy to me and held my hand through the entire process. I have an old turn-of-the-century house which needed some updating for solar power, and this company made everything seamless highly recommend
