A shout out to David Bishins, what a great consultation over Teams with him about my property and ideal locations for panels, the cost savings short term and long term. He left no stone unturned, he was absolutely transparent! We went over the technical information from positioning to angles/grade and financial costs with options. David is very passionate about solar and is very personable I am very excited to have solar shortly! Thanks David!

Excellent Experience!

Overall a very positive experience. Alex, our salesman was extremely knowledgeable and really took the time to explain everything. Communication was timely and everything was very professional. We were very impressed with the company as a whole and would highly recommend to anyone.

Very satisfied with renewable energy!

In October of 2025 we selected Solar Energy World. Kevin Green, Field Energy Adivsor was very professional and most informative. He explained the entire process. It was an decision because of the positive reviews, warranty and tax credits. Most impressive was the short three month period to complete the solar analysis, application, financing, installation, inspections and connection to the grid. Also, since December we have received emails and follow up calls to ensure our complete satisfaction. In short, we are extremely happy with the decision to select Solar Energy World and we highly recommned the company.

We used Solar Energy World (SEW) in 2000 for our install and couldn't be happier! They are the best in the area (pricing and option-wise) and fully-support their systems. You don't have to worry about the company disappearing for the system warranty labor coverage. Daren Weatherby is an excellent sales rep and truly knows his stuff+the industry. He will guide you toward the optimal config. for your roof/energy situation (there is a sweet spot for ROI). Our system paid for itself in 5.5 years and now we have another 20+ yrs of "free" energy coming from the power of the sun! Use SEW with confidence and ask for Daren to help you. All of our neighbors used him too and are extremely satisfied. A+++ - no regrets.

Everything is great, all the team is super helpful, and very supportive. when ever i have any issue, they respond right away. happy with it.

Excellent company to deal with

I chose Solar Energy World a couple years ago to begin my Solar experience. I had 14 solar panels installed at that time. I interviewed a few different Solar companies and decided to go with Solar Energy World. All went well and I was happy with the solar output. Lately I decided to add additional panels and a battery backup system so I could be secure in the idea of not losing power in hurricanes and other major electrical outages. Due to costs I just added more panels for now in anticipation of battery backup in the near future. Battery backup is expensive. My interactions with Solar Energy World have been great. Travis Kent was my contact person throughout the process and he was exceptional…always available and would return texts immediately to help keep me informed of progress. I highly recommend this company for your Solar needs.

Glenn Hnilica

Glenn Hnilica is a professional salesman. He explained in detail how the solar system works and how I would save money. He answered all my calls and messages with any questions I had.

We had a good experience with Solar Energy World.

We've had a good experience with the sale and installation of our system.

Great service

It was an easy process; everything was done in a timely manner and exactly as described. I’m very happy with how things turned out. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to install a solar system."

I had a great experience with Carson’s team from Solar Energy World. When we decided to go solar, we contacted 4 companies to give us quotes. Carson from SEW came highly recommended by a neighbor friend. From the start, he was very professional and came in prepared for our meeting. He answered all our questions. He took the time to make sure that we understand how solar works and it can benefit us now and it the long run. He was also easily accessible through text, call or email for follow up inquiries. The installation was straightforward, the installation team were professional and efficient as well. Carson was there for the whole process including making sure we are properly connected to the grid and be able to see our connectivity (production, consumption, export and import of energy). He and his team guided us through it all. I highly recommend Solar Energy World for people that are looking into getting solar panels for their home or business.

My solar system is now fully operational, and I’m very happy with how it turned out. It looks great. I did A LOT of research before going with SEW as my installer. From start to finish, the process with them was smooth. They handled everything including permits, dealing with my HOA, county inspection, and utility interconnection. Jacques Frink was my energy advisor/sales rep, and he is excellent. He was always attentive and responsive, and returned my phone calls/texts quickly. Any issues I brought up, Jacques was on it to make sure it got handled. The crew had to come out a couple times to finish installing the critter guard and skirting, and Jacques stayed on top of it until it was complete. I’m very happy with the experience and would recommend SEW to anyone thinking about installing solar on their home.

Note to my SEW sales rep.

I do not know if I will see you again Alex. I want you to know that every single person I interacted with on this project has been an absolute gem. The young men who installed the project. The young man who checked their work, the young man who waited for the County Inspector, you, your design contact, everyone. I have managed or helped manage more construction projects than I can count or remember in my career. This is as good as it gets. I hope you are all proud of your work, because you deserve to be. Rick Mears

I have never been more impressed by a contractor's work than the team of young men from SEW did on our installation. I affectionately named them "Dewey and the Legends", because one of the guys was named Kobe and another one Prince. Besides being just good guys, they were outstanding throughout the installation. They kept me informed along the way, made a minimal mess while working, and cleaned up immediately each day. Then the subcontractor who was installing the underground wiring across our yard was also outstanding. The young man running that job was named Fernando (think Valenzuela), so I happily included him with the "Legends". I was amazed at how little evidence there was that any digging or underground wiring had been installed. Scott Grams is our SEW sales rep, and he has been amazing as well! Scott arranged for us to meet at their Laurel office and warehouse so we could see the operation and meet several of the folks. SEW has far exceeded our expectations, and I'm looking forward to saving hundreds of dollars each month and even more in the near future, as AI demands plus policy decisions by political leadership will absolutely make utility rates continue to climb even higher!

Eric @ Solar Energy World is who you want to work with!

Went solar last year and Energy bills have never looked better! Company was awesome to work with and Eric Winkler specifically was always available throughout the process. Reach out to him directly if interested.

Great service

It was a pleasure to deal with Travis for our entire solar project. From day one he was responsive to every text and every phone call and answered every time. From our initial phone call to the system being installed was in a matter of weeks, which is unheard of the designed portion didn’t even take anywhere near the estimate that he gave me which was quite impressive. I would recommend Travis to anyone wanting to install solar.

Company was enjoyable to work with were not the cheapest option but did have the best quality from local sources. Jacques was an excellent sales rep and also helped out years after installation.

Excellent Service

I had a great experience with this Solar Energy World. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the team was professional and very helpful. Alex is my go-to person and he is amazing. He answered all my questions and made the whole process easy to understand. The installation crew was on time, efficient, and left everything clean afterward. I’m not seeing the benefits yet since it’s the Winter season and the sun has not been coming out but I am excited for the Spring. I hope to feel the benefits on my energy bill in the coming months. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to switch to solar.

Solar Energy , Rob Sherman

Throughout the process of investigation, installation , connection to BGE and monitoring my solar panel production, Rob Sherman has been a wonderful resource. He shared how solar worked, was installed, connected and monitored using language that was easy for me to understand. His knowledge of solar was apparent as he answered all of my questions in detail. He explained a variety of options for my home and the advantages of each. Rob discussed each of the steps of installation and a typical time frame for each step. I believe Solar Energy did their best to complete the entire process in a timely manner. Whenever I needed clarification regarding any clerical or other procedure , Rob kindly offered appropriate advise. He continues to be a willing and interested resource. I am pleased with my decision to go solar and look forward to warm weather energy production.

Our experience with Solar Energy World was great. Specifically our advisor Alex Flax. He was really helpful since day one and still. He answered all our questions and was/is there any time we needed him. We did some research and picked this company because of the reviews and the exceptional service provided by Alex. Recommended him and the company 100%

Solar Energy World in Tampa area.

My panels were installed by Solar Energy World in Tampa, and the sale Rep. was Damien and a pleasure to deal with. He was very attentive and helpful throughout installation process. I will recommend him and the company to whoever is looking to install Solar Panels.

Excellent communication

Alex is a very good salesperson to work with. Communication is timely and efficient. The process took a while but that was because of Orange County and Duke Energy delays. Overall would recommend.

Nice company and good experience

I contacted Solar Energy World and a few others solar companies. After some comparison and doing some research, I chose Solar Energy World because of their reputation, proximity, and warranty. I met with Chris Gopalan with no pressure and decided to move forward within my community.

Great team to work with on a nice project

The Solar Energy World led by Greg Uhas performed a excellent installation. They allowed me to provide input for the location of the panels. They also ensured I would be satisfied with the final product.

Solar for the win!

I love my solar panels and so does my pockets lol! Greg Uhas is absolutely the best! Every question and concern I had he had an answer for it. Great communication from our initial consultation to the end of installation. He also did check ins months after the installation to ensure everything was working properly. If you are thinking or even slightly curious about solar energy & its benefits, Solar Energy World is the place to start! Thanks again Greg for helping me make the switch and start saving money on these costly BG&E bills!

The Whole process was smooth and painless
