Working with Daren Weatherby has been and continues to be fantastic. Our solar panel installation was completed in December but I felt the need to call Daren recently for clarification on some recent information. I was struck once again on how extremely knowledgeable he is, and so very clear in his ability to share that knowledge. He once told us that his job is the best he’s ever had; that he loves it. My wife and I had talked about solar and thought about solar for a long time but always thought it was going to be complicated and expensive. After doing a lot of homework and meeting with several companies we decided to go forward with Solar Energy World. We worked with Jairo and he made it easy. The company did what they said and the project was on time and on budget. Highly recommend these folks.

Pleasure to deal with from start to finish

Everyone with Solar World was friendly, professional and informative. They kept me informed at each step of the way and were responsive to my questions. All the paper work was handled with minimal effort on my part. They made sure that the job was completed before the end of the year to help with the tax break. This despite the incredibly slow process with the county permitting agency. I would recommend them to anyone interested in solar.

I had a good experience with SEW from initial sales to installation and activation. Late 2020 was busy time to take advantage of tax credit. My installation was successfully and professionally done in timely manner. When we needed to change original appointment due to snow, SEW rescheduled for installation to be done within couple of business days. Thanks.

In spite of bad weather the crew still arrived on time and did everything in their power to get it done as safely and efficiently as possible. They gave us frequent updates to we knew what to expect when and overall a very good experience from Sales through Installation. The whole team was a pleasure to work wtih.

Solar Energy World was recommended to me by friend of mine who also got his solar system from them and I'm glad I decided to go with them. Over all the whole process from the the initial system sizing and solar components selection, through the system design, permits, installation, and final inspections went very smooth especial considering everything else that happen in 2020. The permitting took longer that expected, but Solar Energy World were able to expedite the installation, so I still got the system in the timeframe they promised. The actual installation was done over two days and the quality of work and the attention to the details exceeded my expectations. I especially liked how the solar panels wiring to the combiner box on the side of the house was done through the attic and there were no visible wires, boxes or conduits on the roof. I highly recommend working with Eric Winkler, who was very knowledgeable and responded to all my questions within minutes no matter the time of the day. I also enjoyed working with Samantha wich was the project manager and was keeping the project on schedule. I'm a DIY person, but in this case I did not have to do anything and everything was taken care of by the Solar Energy World Team. This was one of the easies home project for me and as an added bonus the price was one of the lowes I got out of 5 or six other companies I considered.

I was very pleased with the installation and price and guaranteed completion date. I compared prices, too, and they were lower than the other quotes I received from online aggregators. Communication and follow-through are vital when dealing with the multiple layers of permits and inspections needed to go solar. Jay Randell and Sammy Cherukuri are tireless advocates. Jay in particular had answers to all our initial questions and concerns — he's on top of both the technical and financial details of every part of the process — and that made our decision to go with Solar Energy World very easy. Beginning with that initial consultation, everything else was handled on time by professionals who cared about our project and our home. It's a big company with a personal touch. During the installation, the crew took time to explain the process, arrived early and worked safely. We are very happy with the result and will recommend Solar Energy World to all our neighbors.

Jamie conducted an in-home meeting to introduce the concept of solar power to my wife and me - two complete novices! He was friendly, yet extremely professional in his demeanor. He very knowledgeably walked us through the advantages of solar power and spelled out the options of lease/ownership available to us. Now that it has been installed and functioning flawlessly for several months, the savings have met or exceeded projections by Mr. Ryan and Solar Energy World (SEW). In response to inevitable enquiries from curious neighbors, as well as close friends and family, we have enthusiastically endorsed solar power in general and Jamie Ryan and Solar Energy Power in particular. We will continue to do so.

Solar Energy World Provided Professional, Competent Service

After our initial meeting with Paul Antoshak we new we were dealing with a competent organization. Paul laid out the process for having solar panels installed, the cost, pay-back period, estimated energy production, tax credits, Solar Energy Renewable Credits (SERCs) and other grant rebates. We fact checked everything he told us and found it to be accurate. Once we signed the contract we were informed of the design and permitting process and the estimated time of installation was spot on. The crew doing the installation were very professional, showed up when they said they would, kept us informed of their progress and were courteous. After installation, SEW took care of setting up all required inspections with the County and electric company. They also set us up with a Brooker to handle the acquisition of SREC's throughout the life of the system. Based on our experience, I would say you can have piece of mind knowing that a competent company is installing your solar system.

Great Experience and Support

I chose Solar Energy World (SEW) after initially contacting them several years ago and then kinda sorta lost interest in installing a solar system. Last year 2020 seemed like the right time as I had recently redone my roof. I chose to go with the traditional installation largely due to costs. I looked into Tesla roof and for my huge roof it became quite cost prohibitive. Anywho I reached out to Sunrun (via Costco) and a few others, going back to SEW also because of my salesperson Paul who actually is a SEW customer himself, so practicing what they are preaching is a big one for me. Lastly, they took care of everything every single paperwork, interactions, filing for rebates, setups etc. My finger lifting was mainly to sign, OK or adjust things. The fact that all their people and installers were quite helpful, professional and courteous also helps. Being local and within easy drive to me helps as well. Post install they have so far been quite helpful as well. Hope that stays.

Easies Decision I made in 2020

Going Solar was a very easy decision. Not only did they have an amazing deal running, but I am pretty sure in the year of 2020 everyone was looking for ways to pinch pennies and make money last. Going solar was the way to do that. They worked with you every step of the way and ensured you were a happy customer from start to finish.
