Solar Energy World

Solar Energy World has been a pleasure to work with! A+

I abandoned my initial solar project contract with another company when their pushy sales pitch began to raise some discomfort for me. After a bit of a breather I selected Solar Energy World since Energy Sage listed SEW as having great ratings (and the best price). I was preparing myself for another round of agony. Daren Weatherby contacted me and suggested that he would like to work with me on my solar project, we discussed multiple panel layout diagrams, shade study reports, made changes to our original design after he reviewed them with his engineers and decided we could improve performance with another plan variant. The somewhat frustrating part were the permitting time delays due to COVID. Daren kept me updated on progress, even when there was no update to be given, which was appreciated. Time finally came for the panel/electrical installation, the crews sent where polite, respectful, and left no debris of any sort behind. Just a joy to work with. Melanie Beasley and Kristin Manzo kept scheduling on track, were always polite and a pleasure to deal with. Just this morning I activated the system, 100% satisfied customer so far. I would recommend Solar Energy World and this team to anyone!

Sean Grieves

We felt so confident with Sean's presentation that we immediately signed up and cancelled any other quotes. He was knowledgeable and his explanation allowed us to feel satisfied that we signed with the right company. He guided us every step of the way.

Excellent experience

Solar Energy World had the most organized and confidence-inspiring approach of the bids I assessed. The overall experience matched that as well. The timelines were met, the build was fast and looks good, and the quality of consulting and professionalism were excellent. This project required very little from me once I made the initial choices, and was managed well from start to finish. Great job!

Install of 26 panels on 3 story house on windy Chesapeake Bay!

Solar Energy World installers were just amazing. I would give them 10 stars !!!! They arrived on site as planned, but did not - i am sure - expect to see that the roof was on a 3 story residence. ....and there was a slight breeze coming off the shore......they did a fine Job, Charley, David, David, Dequan, and i am sorry, i dont remember the name of the lad who was just starting his first installation.....The crew was here for 2 days, the first day was devoted to installing the framework, and the second day was mainly for the install of the panels. The electrician Charley did all the conduit work and wiring of the Enphase panel.....and explained and answered all of my questions.....i had many!!! The whole crew was great! They worked under very hard conditions,. The first day was extremely windy on the Bay, and they had to climb ladders 30 + feet in height.... I also need a shout out for Jeff Nachman, responsible for enrolling us in this solar adventure!....Jeff is quite a salesman and did his job engaging us!! I had a lot of questions for Jeff, and we continue to text each other and he explains the whole solar thing so i can understand it. Jeff is perfect at his job! All in all, the crew was great and we are happy with the installation and look forward to many years of Solar bliss and are glad to enter the world of green energy!!! Jim and Sandra

A wonderful solar experience!

I vetted at least 4-6 solar companies, and I have to say that I made the right choice. My solar rep Paul was the ultimate customer service professional. He made, what I thought was a daunting decision, very manageable. I felt like I had a family member holding my hand through the process. I’m now extremely excited about my future with solar energy from Solar Energy World.

Great company and really great people!

We started to look into solar options recently and we found out that many of our neighbors went with Solar Energy World. We did our research and looked into a number of companies and we felt that, in the end, Solar Energy World was the best option. They seemed to be the best bang for the buck. Not to mention that they were very professional and responsive. In the end we were very happy with the final product and we could not be happier with choosing this company.

Very straightforward.

Process was easy. They explained everything and showed comparative data.

They are about their Customers and take pride in what they do.

Courteous and responsive customer service

Great Experience with Solar Energy World

We had a great experience with our solar project and installation with Solar Energy World. Our sales rep, Jon, took us through he process from beginning to end and made sure we understood what was happening throughout. They saw us through the process of financing, applying for tax credits and the MD state grant.

Great service from initial consultation to installation.

I had questions running the entire gamut from the panel types to panel mounting racks to the esthetics of the panel array and was overall satisfied with their responses compared to their competitors. I also liked the fact that they did not outsource any portion of the job to third party contractors.

From sun to electric

Sharon and I were very pleased at the service before and after the installation of our solar panels. Paul was informative, knowledgeable and addressed our concerns with the product and process from start to finish and beyond. The installation process was professional and impressive. The best part is clean energy. NOT ONE PENNY OUT OF POCKET, NOT ONE PENNY. Now we save every day. Hope you join in on savings and clean energy at NO EXPENSE TO YOU. Keith & Sharon Elkton, Md

Smooth Process

I recently signed up to go solar and I am so glad I went with Solar Energy World. Sean was my solar consultant and he was very informative/answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this company!

Great experience!

Had an awesome experience with the Solar Analyst, Sean Grieves. He professionally explained everything so it was understood and took the time to go over every question I had. His response times were quick and never left me hanging. I would recommend him to anybody out there to at least has some questions about going solar. Thanks, Sean!

Fantastic experience.

Everyone I worked with on my project was friendly and service oriented.

Great job. Very informative.

Seen them on facebook. They contacted me right away and stayed in contact with me.

Everything went smoothly!

I bought solar panels through a solar coop in my neighborhood. The best thing I can say is that everything went exactly as expected: there were no hidden fees or unexpected charges, the appointments were kept, the installation process was smooth, and I got what I wanted.

Great experience!

Paul was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions even though the initial consultation ended up running nearly two hours with additional questions via email afterwards. The project is still ongoing but he and his team have stayed on top of things the whole time. Solar Energy World's partnership with other companies also enabled me to complete all of prerequisite work at cost (deinstallation of an old solar system and roof replacement).

Solar Energy World was a dream to work with!

Solar Energy World was a dream to work with! From start to finish they were respectful, on-time, and literally handled everything throughout the entire process.

From start to finish the folks at Solar Energy World were very p

We wanted to lower our energy cost and feel solar is the best bet.

Good Company to work with

We chose them because of the price compared to the others we talked to, the initial presentation was more engineering than salesmanship, i.e. not overt effort at upselling.

A different breed!

Although the system was performing at a higher level than expected, it could be doing even better. I believe many companies would have just told me the system is performing “well enough” and no warranty would have been honored. However, solar energy world and enphase decided, that wasn’t a good enough response and decided to cover everything. I am just waiting on install now. The combination of great service and strong partnerships is what makes this a pleasant experience. If everyone would just do the right thing, as is being done here, it would be a much better world. Business would strive to do better instead of trying to get away with as much as possible. I thank you and your team for making a difference and doing the right thing.

Very professional, would definitely recommend them.

We chose Solar Energy World originally for price. But the came thru with flying colors as far as delivering everything they said they would. The installation looks great.

I appreciate that from Start to Finish the team work together.

I chose them because of their Reps. and workers and managers . Robert V. was our first contact. He started and went Policies, Timeline and benefits of going Solar. The workers and their managers were polite, respect for my house inside and out. Answered any question we asked. They left every day with a great cleanup.

Service like the Sun

Solar Energy World is providing me with not only a way to save money and the world but has done so with complete transparency and great customer service. Truly. Where I live--outside of Washington DC--there are several solar panel installers competing for attention, and I did my due diligence when I decided to go solar. I interviewed all of them for bids, etc. Solar Energy World was, hands down, the most professional and customer oriented. I made my decision to go with them and have not regretted it.

Great from beginning to end.

Solar Energy World did what two other solar suppliers over 10 years could not do -- figure out how to install a solar array that would generate enough power in a tree-heavy neighborhood of suburban Washington, DC. They were communicative and professional, and fast. Helped me get a home improvement loan for a "Done in a day" new roof, prepared for a seamless installation, and reminded me of all the days I had to do things -- set up inspection, turn the system on, sign the papers, etc. I recommend Solar Energy World highly. In this world of increasing carbon emissions and decreasing time to fix it, we all need to consider major changes. I hope there are lots of companies like SEW out there helping ordinary people like me make these changes.
