Solar Energy World

solar panel-my dream

Jay Randell

OUTSTANDING Solar and Battery Install Job!

I could not be happier with the service provided by Solar Energy World during my install of both solar panels and battery backup. The crews were all courteous and made sure they informed me of what was going on with the install. I had a large and complicated system installed and they were welcoming of my questions all along the way (and I had a lot of questions… I’m just that kind of guy). There were some activation issues and at each stage the crews would let me know what was going on and were diligent in getting to the bottom of everything to make sure the system worked like a charm. I could not be happier. Highly recommend Solar Energy World for anyone interested in Solar or battery backups.

Amazing work

Solar Energy World installed my dream setup of solar panela for my home. Price was great and work done even better.

Solar installation was great!

SEW was white-glove from beginning to end; easy to work with and very organized and reliable. They even replaced my roof at a competitive cost, avoiding the headache of finding another company. You can tell SEW is on a mission to make the grid more sustainable. And the panels look great!

Love my Solar

After meeting with several Solar companies, I was relieved when we met Jon Crill of Solar Energy World. He took the time to answer all of our questions and helped us the entire time with the process. Their roofing experience, better materials and in house employees is what sold me. The install was neat and professional and I got exactly what I paid for. Solar Energy World blew away our expectations. We are very happy we went with them and are excited to tell others the same. Danny and Sarah Whitby Ridgely, Maryland

Great Service

We had a great experience and are glad we used Solar Energy World.

Great company to work with. Solar installation was top notch and the people were super helpful.

Highly effective experts

Solar Energy World knows their stuff, and helped me navigate a number of different installation scenarios to find the one right for my family.

Best Value - Great Experience

Great value for what you're getting. The sales experience was great and no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend using this company

12.9 KW Solar system

Very happy with my installation. Onest sale person-Jeff Nachman. Got the best system/best price. $10,000 less than any other competitor. Jeff knows the business and it's an honest person. I had another company which tried to charge me over $10,000 for a 10KW system acting like a car dealer. No other solar company came close to this one. My system produced 8.1 MW (8,100KW) since june this year. I love it. B Let's Go Brandon can increase the energy price as much as he wants. I am setup for the next 30 years (30 years warranty on my system).

Great Product- Great Installation- Great Customer service

If you care about future of the earth go solar! And, if you want a hassle free service go with SEW. Believe me! This process can be so frustrating if you don't pick a right partner. SEW does the job from womb to tomb. From design to installation, from getting permit to filing Clean Energy Rebate application, from paperwork with your utility company to application for SREC. This is a new industry and so many companies have started as a contractor, but you have only one chance and you don't want to miss it by going with inexperienced companies who just buy the panels from COSTCO and install it! Design is a key factor. If you want a clean job, then call Solar Energy World and ask for Jeff Nachman. He'll schedule a short meeting. You won't lose anything! Even if you're not lucky enough and your roof does not get enough sunlight or house doesn't fit for solar panel, you'll learn a lot and will find a good friend! And best of all, you don't need to pay a penny in advanced. They give you several options including lease and finance.

Right on target

At every step of the process, Solar Energy did exactly what they said would maximize our system. They designed it to get the most our of our house architecture and installed it right on schedule. They predicted precisely how many annual kWh's it would produce, and what our annual income and savings would be. They are always available for follow up phone calls about SRECs and PEPCO's accounting. I heartily recommend you go with them.

Great to work with

SEW took us through the sometimes complicated regulatory process of installing solar panels. They took care of all the paperwork and worked with the county historical agency to get the required permits. Because we are in a historic district this was an especially onerous task. Austin was great to work with and kept us in the loop.

Highly recommend

We were very happy with the experience from beginning to end. Austin was great at explaining what to expect at every step. Everyone was helpful and friendly and installation went smoothly. We would absolutely recommend Solar Energy World to friends and family.

Friendly crew, fast installation, great products

Chosen by the Solarize NOVA co-op in 2021 as their provider of solar installs in the area. Very happy with their products and employees who I interacted with from start to finish. Always quick to respond and answer all of my questions, including technical ones. Performance of the system is just as advertised and easy to monitor.

Best in the business

Solar Energy World is the company to use when upgrading to Solar. I spoke with four different companies during my process of getting get solar for my home. Solar energy world had by far the best presentation and answered any and all questions I had. Jay even made time to give me a second call when I thought of more questions regarding the solar. Jay provided everything that would happen during the process and each team member ensured I understood where I was in the process and provided the next step during installation, inspection, and finally powering on! Everyone I interacted with treated me like I was a member of their Solar family. If you want a stress free and process of adding solar to your home they are the team to use. Fantastic l job, seamless service from start to finish

Fantastic job overall, great price and completed the job in a timely manner. They have done an excellent job keeping me in the loop on progress made.

Great Service

From day one our sales rep Sean has been nothing less than prompt and professional. Any questions and concerns were immediately answered. We were kept in the loop for the entire process and no detail was spared. Nothing like the personal touch of a salesman. Can't wait to what we'll be saving by going solar.

Best Solar Company Out There!

My experience with Solar Energy World was A+ from the start! Jon was great and helped and explained everything from the start and handled the 20,000 questions I had. The installation team was amazing! Every single person cared about the project and cared about you. The hospitality and customer service was amazing! I am in the hospitality industry so I appreciate good service when I get it. Thank you to everyone on the team. AMAZING!!!

Great Company

I honestly chose them because of their great reviews, and all in-house installers! I’ve had bad experiences in the past with subcontractors, so this made me feel a lot more comfortable in working with Solar Energy World. Solar has literally cut my electric bill in half, and it cost me $0 to go solar with the PPA option. Thanks Solar Energy World!

I am so thrilled with the experience I have had overall!

I chose this company because of the great reviews I had read about! I was so pleased with this whole process. I felt that Sean my representative had been very informative. He went above and beyond to explain in detail answers to all of my questions. Sean was very educated about all aspects of solar energy worlds procedures. After our consult I felt very confident I was making the right decision. Every employee that has come to my home has been very professional and polite. All of the contractors/ electricians worked hard to complete my job in a timely manner. Solar Energy World did a beautiful job with the solar panels on the roof. The rest of the equipment on the side of the house was done neat and clean. Brian one of the electricians went above and beyond with his work and explained in detail about each step of the process. I couldn’t be happier with everything from the price, appearance, workers, and communication with solar energy world. I would 110 % recommend this company to friends , family and neighbors.
