Amazing company, staff and great service

A friend referred me to Solarworld, but the Sales representative, Nick Briggs, made me feel very comfortable from the first meeting. He has been very patient and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He has provided all the updates during the waiting period. The crew who came to install the solar panels was very professional and knowledgeable. They installed the panels in a day and cleaned up well post that.

Respectful, friendly, and professional team

Overall our experience has been great, from the first call my wife and I had with Seth Tobin to the home survey, and installation process. Seth has been very quick to respond to any questions we've had along the way, sometimes even having to repeat himself :). We would happily recommend Solar Energy World to any friends or family that might be looking at going solar.

The sales process was excellent. Liam Ross answered all of our questions and spent a lot of time with us to be sure, that we understand everything. Installation was also so perfect, on scheduled time and they spend some time to find the best solution for the way, how bring cable from electrical panel from one side of our house to solar panels on another side of house. Finally, on day of township inspection there was again person from solar company, who answered all questions and comments, and he spent time with all three inspectors.

Professional installation, no surprises, great follow-up service

First, special thanks to salesman Seth Tobin, coming out to my house to make sure all the reporting devices were up and running after they failed. I could never have done any of that myself but he stuck with me and came out TWICE to solve the problem. The entire process takes longer than one might expect because of the multiple permits and inspections but Solar Energy World took care of everything and I didn't have to do anything but wait for the installation. The install crew was also great.

Amazing Job!

Everything from design to installation was easy, efficient, and well done. We got a panel design based on maximum efficiency, the panel installers and electricians were amazing. These guys really know what they are doing. They installed 37 panels on 4 different sections of roof. They cleaned up perfectly and were extremely thoughtful and polite.

Easy and affordable Solar Install

We recently had 16 solar panels installed on our roof. From my first meeting with my sales rep, through planning and engineering, to the day of the install everything has been easy and seamless!

One of the best decisions we have ever made

Solar always seemed like a far-fetched reality for us. That was until we met with our analyst, Ari. He was informative, amicable, and patient with all of the information that came with making this decision. Needless to say he made a complicated subject digestible. Everyone in the company has been nothing but friendly and helpful with my many questions that came up over the course of the project. Solar Energy World was timely, efficient, and their experience in the industry is really displayed. We did not have to lift a finger with any paperwork or county/Pepco permits, they handled it all. The install crew was phenomenal, even going out of their scope of work to fix our door for us, just because! They explained everything they were doing in detail and the installation looks fantastic. We have since had two months where we did not owe Pepco any money, and we have to admit, it feels really good. We could not possibly recommend this company any higher than 5 stars, we'd leave 6 if possible! The choice to go solar was financially and environmentally savvy, and Solar Energy World made it all come together beautifully.

very responsive and helpful

Chose this company after reaching out to 3 others companies. they were quick to respond and patiently answered all my questions. ( I have to say...I haven't yet met Austin in person..only via zoom!) Clear and and transparent about the estimates on production, had competitive pricing. We had an issue with the design where critter guard had to be put on the inner perimeter of the panels. They quickly came over to fit that with out any extra cost. They also were monitoring the production over the initial few months (don't know if they still do) and detected an error on the part of some connection..came over by themselves and fixed it. Have literally walked me thru many form fillings and questions. Appreciate their service. I literally waited a year to write a review. Hope our decision to get solar panels with them turns out well now and for the future.

I always wanted solar panels on our home, but never received clear information which had me thinking that it was just another bill until Mr. Frink patiently explained the entire process. My husband and I are very thankful for Mr. Frink, because of him we now have the Solar Energy World Panels. Mr. Jacques Frink is an outstanding salesperson, and very knowledgeable concerning Solar Energy World. He kept in touch with us every step of the installation process. He answered all our questions without hesitation. The Solar Energy World team was very friendly, and did a wonderful job. Outstanding commitment for excellence! They have the best warranty, price, very very knowledgeable staff at all levels! They have their own cruise, this is a very important note. They arrived when they said they would they did the job very professionally keeping me informed for the day it took them to do the install and hook up. My power bill is zero and I am exporting every day to Duke money in the bank. Joanie kept me up-to-date as the progress of my job site was approaching. I consider this very important the communication was excellent! I am referring anyone that’ll hear me about my experience with Solar Energy World I carry around my power bill to show them! Simply the Best! Better call Pete Barnes

We decided to add solar panels to our house. We researched and took multiple proposals and quotes. We selected Solar Energy World and they are awesome! Make sure you ask for Pete Barnes - Pete is extremely knowledgeable, extremely responsive, and the type of honest straight-shooter you wish everyone in sales would be. We explained the high priority we place on aesthetics, so in addition to a very efficient, cost-effective system, we needed it to look great and not detract from the appearance of our house. We also needed the install to be high quality, and leave all surfaces looking pristine. Solar Energy World delivered! Their pricing was extremely competitive - literally only dollars more than the lowest bid. We chose a 12.21 kW system using Made in the USA Silfab panels with Enphase microinverters. Solar Energy World offers many different size and brand panels and will ensure you get the first tier quality in whichever you choose. More importantly, they will listen to you and design the best possible system based on your criteria and your location. The HOA filings, the system design, system install, inspections and local electric company Authority to Operate could not have gone any more pleasantly, efficiently and smoothly. Solar Energy World walked us through every phase, answered every question and supervised to make everything come off without a hitch. The install crew were consummate professionals - knew what they were doing, did it excellently, and proud of their workmanship. Left the job site as clean and clear as they found it. And Pete was our central Point of Contact from start to successful finish. In our first full month of operation, our system generated 1.3 MWh. Choose to go solar. And if you do, don't make a mistake - call Pete and hire Solar Energy World. You'll be glad you did!

360 degree expert support from start to finish!

We were fortunate that the County of Fairfax, Virginia had previously qualified Solar Energy World through its "SolarWise" Program. That meant huge time savings weeding out the long list of companies offering up solar energy systems to our community. First impression was terrific. Our representative, Pete Barnes, clearly demonstrated his subject matter expertise in helping us to understand that our home was a suitable place to install a system. He handled a series Q&A emails and phone calls with us. Mutual trust was established. We knew we were dealing with a reputable professional backed up by an established company. A local homeowner, and client of a previous installation, also provided a validation. We had one obstacle to overcome after our contract was signed. Solar Energy Worlds site survey inspection revealed a roof problem that needed to be addressed. That had the potential to sidetrack our solar project, but Pete and Solar Energy World were patient as we collected a series of roof replacement estimates and, eventually, a full roof replacement including all new 1/2 plywood under the shingles. At that point, is was a "go" to move out on the solar project. Solar Energy World's design was impressive -- very detailed. Pete Barnes handled our questions during this stage as well. We approved the design without changes. Local permits and equipment/materials were procured. Emily Connell, Solar Energy World's project manager, took over from there and kept us informed every step of the way as to installation scheduling and what to expect during the actual installation. Cannoli, Solar Energy World's lead installation tech, arrived as scheduled assisted by his team of installers. This team was driven! They knocked out the installation at break speed. Cannoli returned the next business day to finish the programming task that would eventually set up the monitoring tool. Next from Solar Energy World was Erica Shafer. She managed the relationship with Dominion Energy to have our 52 year-old VEPCO installed analog meter with a new IDR net metering device. That tasked closed within two weeks. The meter was swapped out and Dominion Energy had notified her of our approval to operate (ATO) and start producing our own electricity. That was exciting. While we were waiting on the ATO, Jeff Provini of Solar Energy World reached out to share information about setting up our solar system monitoring via Enphase Enlighten. The instructions were straight forward and the monitoring is very useful in understanding the solar system's performance. Of course, Pete Barnes was a "Cc" in most all of this email correspondence as his team members were executing their tasks. He called to check in after our system went online just to see if we had any additional questions and to explain what post-installation tasks were remaining one of which, was actually filing, on our behalf, the personal property tax local tax (County of Fairfax) credit application. What service! What an impressive team of professionals at each position!

Working with Solar Energy World was a pleasurable experience from start to finish. Our sales representative, Jeff Nachman was professional and very knowledgeable. The installation crew was professional and produced high quality work. The system performs wonderfully and has offset our electricity bill by 82% over the past year.

Sean was my sales rep and let me tell you, after speaking with (no exaggeration) a dozen or more solar companies, Sean and solar energy world were by far the best. Best prices, best warranties, best communication throughout the process. Everything was nothing short of exceptional. I could not recommend Sean and solar energy world more.

New system review

My system was recently installed. We had a minor electronic issue that delayed activation and ultimately caused a power outage. I called Paul my sales representative, he immediately contacted service. Within 40 minutes Brandon arrived, resolved the issues and had my system operating. The following day Brandon returned and reviewed the system operation and explained the detailed monitoring system. He took his time and answered all my question. Paul, my salesman, Brandon the system technician as well as the panel and electrical installers were polite efficient and great to work with. The system is more sophisticated than I expected and is operating beyond my expectations.

Amazing experience with solar installation

I was reluctant to install solar on my house because I was concerned about the appearance and the cost. My wife convinced me to check it out, and from there on, the whole process was a breeze. A slow breeze, since my only gripe was how long it took, but that was not the installer's fault. Solar Energy World and the analyst they assigned to me, Daren Weatherby, were outstanding. They guided me every step of the way, kept me fully informed of what was going to happen next, and did a terrific job in the end. I even like the way it looks, and my electric bill dropped to nothing. I could not recommend SEW more highly. In fact, I've told my neighbors to go with them if they choose solar. Kudos all around!

We first contacted Solar Energy World about 2 years ago, before we moved to the home we are now in. We were researching solar panels and once we moved to the house we had built in Littlestown, PA, we knew which company we wanted to install our solar system. Our salesman, Seth Tobin, has been super. He has helped us every step of the way and when we could not get information from our electric company, or whenever we wanted answers to a host of questions, Seth was never too busy to take time and assist us. Everyone from planning to installation to follow up has been great wo work with. The installers were excellent. They did the job quickly and did not leave any mess behind. We would not hesitate to highly recommend Solar Energy World to anyone looking to install a solar panel system.

Going solar

We were very happy with the entire process of going solar with Solar Energy World. Liam did a great job explaining the panels efficiency compared to our other estimates. Liam is responsible for us choosing this company. Installation went flawless with Dave and Brian leading the installers. Everyone involved did a great job. Shannon was always there helping to keep the process going. Today will be the final inspection and we can’t wait to get our system up and running. We started the process March 31, and hopefully it will start producing by August. This is the schedule we expected and it looks like everything is on track to meet the time frame. We would highly recommend Solar Energy World to anyone considering going solar.

From end-to-end (sales through installation through after-sales support) it has been a pleasure to work with Solar Energy World. Jeff Nachman (sales) is very knowledgeable, delivered an accurate quote, and has been happy to answer any questions quickly after the sale. The installation crew was professional and fast. The permitting process proceeded without issue. The system performs flawlessly, and the utility bill has been zero for the six of seven months the system has been in operation.
