Alastair was very pleasant and professional during his visit. His presentation was very helpful in explaining they solar system and how it works. He also explained the tax credits and the difference between leasing and purchasing. I am not able to type a complete review until after the unit is installed.

Home Installation-Happy outcome

VA PV system installed is- 51 Silfab 370w module, 18.87 kW.-Inverter Brand-Enphase-in 2023. Starting with the Solar Analyst (Jon) and the final installation within a period of 3 months (Jan 11-March 22-2023) is absolutely unbelievable because the expected finish date was in May. The main office kept in touch with me to report the progress biweekly. The installation team of Dominique and Shae (Electrical) and Steven and Anthony (Roofers) worked very efficiently. For all three days the team arrived on time and left the place clean each day. It is my pleasure to provide them 5/5 rating for the professionalism, demeanor and courtesy exhibited by all members of the team. I will not hesitate to recommend this company for the Solar Energy System Installation.

Working with a great team!

From the moment we spoke to Jon, to the installation of our solar panels...we received the most professional and friendly assistance. Not only were each of the team members attentive to our questions, but they made it a very easy process to navigate. The on-site team led by Kerns (including Brian, Logan, etc) were extremely friendly and made it a point to explain the process in easy to understand terms. They showed up on time (early actually!) each day of the project. We have already recommended them to other neighbors and friends, and have no doubt that they will also experience the same level of care in their own process. Great job team!

Great Installation

Great installation, friendly efficient and effective crew, and super Field Energy Advisor, Jacques, who kept me informed of the process the entire time. Solar system seems to be producing more than original estimate, which was mentioned by Jacques. The only thing I did not like was that that the Company asked for a review (before I wrote this review) as soon as the system was physically installed, before it was even turned on. How was I to make a judgement on a black glass on my roof that I had no idea if it even worked? They even had the financing company pay for the system before it was turned on and before installation was approved by the county, which I found odd as well. Glad it works, guess they were confident on the system operating as it does.

I met SEW through the solar coop in Arlington and so had a steamlined invitation and then entry into the world of solar energy. The entire process went well for me and I am now waiting for the last step - the power company authorization - to be completed and then I can engage the system. The only hiccup was several bits of discarded materials left in the yard - so the entire process was not perfect, but the imperfection was one I was able to address without much trouble. Overall, I have been very pleased so far.

Great System, Service and Package

From start to finish, Sean Grieves was professional, responsive and patient as we learned about solar energy offerings. We received bids from 4 companies and went with Solar World not because they were the cheapest, but because Sean was able to explain the system and package and answer ALL of our questions (many, many questions) with expert, honest and detailed information. We felt the system, service and package offered by Solar World was the best quality and value for our home. Installation was accomplished with the same professionalism and care.

3rd times a charm

After researching, and getting appraisals from several different companies online I decided that Solar energy world was the best choice. Solar energy world had the best price and the cleanest install over the competition. All companies offered the same make and number of panels and inverters, but the advantage with SEW is the visual aspect. A lot of my neighbors have lots of wire piping and l bracket exposed making it look unsightly. SEW had a great install team and Ryan the project manager was helpful and easy to talk to about any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend!

Best buying experience I've had

We are very pleased with the professional service and quality installation of solar panels on our roof provided by Solar Energy World. Our solar analyst, Steve F., prepared several proposals showing various financing options and our expected savings if “We Went Solar!”. The whole process is very easy since Solar Energy World provided all the necessary steps including purchase financing, design layout, town and electric utility permitting, installation, and long-term warranty for our solar panel system. The installation crew and electricians were on-time, courteous, and did an excellent job in installing the solar panels on our roof and connecting them to our main electric panel. After the 30% investment tax credit and the electric utility solar rebates, we expect to cut our electricity costs by nearly 90% and also help the environment!

We had been researching solar panels for a long time then a friend mentioned Solar Energy World and how happy she was with her solar system. She told me to contact Jon Crill, a Field Energy Advisor for the company, and we are so glad we did. From the initial consultation he made sure we understood the benefits of going solar, our purchase vs. lease options, what the process entailed, etc. While it took some months from the original contact to installation—due to panel shortages during the pandemic—when the crew came to install the system, they were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The system was installed in a matter of days and the crew made sure to clean up properly when they were finished. We’ve had our system for almost a year now and are pleased not only with savings on our electric bill but also being able to reduce our carbon imprint. Thank you Jon and Solar Energy World!

Best choice we ever made!

We had considered installing solar panels for about a year before we finally made the decision to move forward. We had consulted with other companies, but once we spoke to the representative at Solar Energy World, we were sold. Every single question was answered and explained very thoroughly, including pricing, finance options, as well as all of the tax incentives. The process was explained the entire way through. The process was incredibly easy as well. When the crew showed up to install the panels, they were very professional and precise. We could not be happier and thank Ari who helped us all the way through!

Solar estimate

Ryan Snook came to our house in PA to give us an estimate. Ryan was patient, informative, and passionate about providing his customers the best service. He answered all of our questions and provided us with many options. I would encourage anyone interested in solar to consider this company and working with Ryan! Highly Recommend

We got our system installed by Solar Energy World about 6 months ago and have been extremely satisfied with every aspect of the process. Our project manager Seth was able to explain everything to us and keep us informed every step of the way. The install only took a couple of days and the installation team was professional, respectful and clean. Our system has produced more than expected since being turned on and we are very happy to have completely eliminated our utility bill. Great Solar Experience!

Solar Energy World installed my Solar system this week and I was very impressed with the results. The installation team was on time, worked to completion through drizzling rain and throughout each day I was informed and updated with the progress. Causwell led the install team and he was really nice and professional, along with his team members Ali, Katrell, Jacob and Ryan. These guys really know what they are doing! The office team was equally impressive, handling all my paperwork for the HOA application, incentives and inspections needed. Great experience overall!

Trusted company with experienced Engineers !!

We worked closely with Pete Barnes from Solar Energy World. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Solar and it's nuances. It is a lot of engineering and design that goes in to estimate the right solution for your home and he took his time to explain everything as well as work with us within the parameters we had for aesthetics and expected yield. The installed system is delivering that and some more of what he designed the system for. Past the installation he hand held us through a myriad of forms and applications to get the desired solar credits, county tax breaks and federal subsidies. Him and the whole staff at energy Solar works including installers and administrative staff was just amazing to work with. Not to mention the extended warranties and guaranties the company offers - provide us the needed confidence in the investment we have made.

We are very happy choosing Solar Energy World as our solar panel installer; the whole process was very smooth, the project was on schedule, and everyone from the company was professional and courteous. Our project manager, Seth, was very patient and answered every question we had and responded even late at night and on weekends. He kept us updated on the progress of the project and accommodated all the requests we had. Solar Energy World also handled all the permits as well as the HOA approvals. The installation process took one and a half days and the installation crew was amazing. They cleaned up after everything and the installation quality was top-notch.
