We talked with several companies and decided on one when we got a call to see one more, Solar Energy World. So glad we did. From the second the saleman , Dillan Strabbe came in until the system turned on, it was nothing but professional. Every person and crew that was to be here at a given time was on time and went right to work, no coffee breaks just work. The install was done neat and everything was picked up and left as found. Every person that we encountered was polite. Any questions we had we called Dillan who always picked up the phone and answered everything. We are referring several people to this company and letting them know how pleased we are. Oh, and they had the best price for everything too!

Interviewed solar several companies. SolarEnergyWorld was more upfront & honest about what you really needed in your Solar package. Our Solar rep Jeff Nachman was great! Easy to work with and explained things every step of the way. A year after our solar install, Jeff still reaches out to see if we have any questions. The Solar crew stayed very focused on their work and were very professional. The quality of our installation was outstanding.

Exceptional Service

Superb service from day 1! Everything was done in a timely manner and within estimated time. The entire team was professional and courteous. Panels were installed properly the first time and look great. Jeff is very knowledgeable and honest about acquiring solar panels. He kept me informed every step of the process. Seamless process from start to finish

The entire process was seamless. It was only 24 days from contract signing to authorization from the local power company to turn on the system. The installation, 30 panels, was completed in one day with no disruption to our normal daily family routine. Solar Energy World handled all the paper work and process including county inspections and coordination with the local power company to install the new electric meter. They also submitted the paper work for us to the Maryland Energy Administration for our state-funded solar energy rebate. The only time required of me was to sign all the necessary documents which were provided electronically. In summary, a five star experience from start to finish.

Great Service

We are very pleased with the service provided by Solar Energy World. They did a great job from the initial consulting to the final installation. My solar advisor/rep was Jacques Frink who is absolutely fantastic and did excellent job communicating with us throughout this process. He would regularly keep in touch with us throughout the entire approving and certification process. Jacques took his time and explained the entire process (a couple of times) until we were satisfied that we understood and were making an informed decision. We were probably one of the tougher customers to deal with and so we really appreciate all the patience and cooperation that he and entire Solar Energy World team showed. The installation crew was also very professional in their job. No issues at all. Highly recommend SEW for solar installation!!

Excellent sales but post installation terrible service

Installation was expansive. We chose this company hoping the service would be good as promised. But post installation service is NO good at all. Our solar system lost communication and there has been no data reporting online for more than two months. Called and emailed the company and some point of contact people (e.g., the service manager) many times but no responses.

SEW Near Perfect Solar Installation Experience

SEW did a great job in solar installation right from the initial consulting to the final installation. They were very responsive, willing to work with the clients on their specific needs, customization, etc. My solar advisor/rep was Katie and she is absolutely fantastic and did a perfect job in the right communication throughout this process. Katie took her time to explain the entire process and was regularly in touch with us till the installation was completed. We were probably one of the tougher customers to deal with and so we really appreciate all the patience and cooperation that Katie and SEW team showed. The installation crew was also very professional in their job. No issues at all. After the installation, we realized that our consumption meter was not properly activated. SEW responded very quickly to connect us with their service team to fix this. It speaks for their value of the customer even after the installation is completed!!! David G. And Solar Energy World beat all expectations!

I have always thought about getting solar panels on my house but it was hard to make that initial investment. After months of research, reading hundreds of reviews, and speaking with multiple companies, I decided to go with Solar Energy. David G, my project manager, was outstanding. He listened to my concerns, was able to answer all my questions, and most importantly all ways picked up the phone or reached back out to me almost immediately. The process was so quick and easy, the install team was very polite and professional at all times and the panels look very modern. I didn’t get solar panels to save the world (although I am glad it helps), I got them to save my wallet from the greedy power company. I had know idea that leasing panels was even an option, but David walked me through the pros and cons of both. For ZERO money down, maintenance all included, my monthly lease cost is a fraction of my electric bill. Honestly, I wish I have done this years ago. At this point, I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t use Solar Energy World, and I highly recommend you ask for David G.

From the first person I spoke with down to the install team, everyone was professional and helpful. Seth Tobin was our rep and he kicked things off by walking us through the process. Seth gave us payment options and made the process painless. We had an awesome install team that worked in the rain. And, Michael has been amazing in the final stages of getting our system turned on. We have already recommended Solar Energy to our neighbors.

Fonzie of Solar Energy World

If you want the best solar deal in town and great customer service, look for Fonzie (Alfonzo Rodriguez). He is the BEST!!! He was very informative, helpful, and friendly. I can tell that he is detailed oriented, committed and hard-working. He even helped us find a good home insurance. The whole process was stress free because he thrives to provide the best customer service experience. Thank you so much Fonzie.

An excellent solar energy company

David Garcia (the sales person) gave me an outstanding presentation. David helped understand the advantages of installing a solar system on my house. Also, he clearly explained the whole process. The panel installation was completed quickly and professionally. The crew was excellent and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions. The job was done with the expected quality. I recommend Solar Energy World to anyone who's looking for a fair and honest company!!

Misleading

I do t know if it’s solar energy world or sun run but we are paying for the panels and have been getting $170 electric bills every month. Not saving us anything. I’ve called and no one cares.

GREAT EXPERIENCE

Solar Energy is in NJ but services PA also. My journey to deciding to go with solar and to go with Solar Energy World. My neighbor got solar on her house. I had a lot of questions and she referred me to her company. I looked at this reviews and was not happy with other customers experience. So, I ventured out on my own looking for a solar company. I found Solar Energy World and I liked the reviews. I was so nervous about going solar and was very much on the fence if I should make this choice. I had a lot of questions that needed to be answered before I decide to go solar. When calling the office to schedule an appointment I told them I will not sign anything on first appointment, I just have questions and want information. Carson Landis was our sales guy. He came on time and on date as expected. He was very polite, patient and informative. I didnt have very many questions after he did his presentation. However, I did have follow up questions and he was happy to stay and answer them. I did tell him that I would not sign any agreement that night, He did not pressure us to sign or do anything. He was just happy to answer questions inform us so we can make the right decision for our family. By the end of the night, you would think my husband and Carson were good friends. He was very personable, and it didn't hurt that he use to play for Penn State, My husbands favorite team. About a week later, we were ready to move forward and everyone was there to help us at every turn. I never felt like once the papers are signed we are on our on our own. The installation was breeze and very nice men that was doing this for us. They cleaned up after themselves and was very efficient. Solar Energy stayed with us through the whole process, even up to the moment we flip the switch to turn on our Solar for the very first time. Carson and the ladies in the office was there to help us through it all... we figured today we will be saving $70.00+ a month in electricity and our electric company will be continuing raising their rates while we will be paying the exact same for the next 25 years. I am so satisfied. I have been handing out JD's (our sales rep.) card. I live in Altamonte Springs Florida. Their workmanship is excellent. The gentlemen who did the work were excellent. JD was excellent and informed me of everything that was going on. The people working for them are knowledgeable and clean up everything. I can not complain. They did everything that was on the plans. It looks much better than any other people that I know with solar as I have been looking into solar for 10 years and have done my homework. The price came out to be what JD told me I would have to pay . I an very satisfied. They did an excellent job installing it with no damage. It looks neat on the roof, and I like it. Zach was my SEW contact and provided excellent service and responsivity throughout the project. I put in an online inquiry on a Saturday afternoon and he was at my house on Monday for an in person meeting. That kind of personal touch and quickness was how Zach did business throughout the sales process and into after sales and construction. I'd definitely recommend SEW to folks, and Zach was a big part of that.

Solar installation

My wife Stacey and I have decided to go solar, My neighbor recommended us to call solar energy world.I called a few days later and was asked a few questions. And was told I would receive a call back the next day by a consultant. The next day I received a call from Sean Grieves, who answer all our questions we have had, and set an appointment up for later in the week, Sean came out to our house and explained the benefits of solar soup to nuts. By the end of our appointment my wife and I already made our minds up to sign a contract with solar energy. Sean was very knowledgeable on solar. And has touch base with us through out the inspection process. We are very please with our installation and product. We have referred a neighbor and will continue to refer solar energy world. Outstanding Experience

From my initial consult to project completion, all aspects were first Rate. All meetings were informative but low pressure. Chris, my representative, was exceptionally accessible and informative throughout the process. My panel production over the first six months has exceeded expectations!!

Worse communication

We have had the worse time getting any response from our agent. Spent over $100k on panels and need repairs. We have not received any response or reply only the run around. Highly disappointed and continuing to receive an electricity bill as thou we don’t have energy panels!!

A Team of Professionals - Great Results

I contacted Solar Energy World for an installation quote based on positive reviews on this site, and after filtering for size (I want a company big enough to back up their warranty claims). I had interviewed 2 other companies (including one very large installer, with a national footprint) and had been very disappointed hype-driven sales pitch that didn't spend enough time looking at the specifics of my house (amount of southern exposure, potential tree coverage, roof size, electrical usage, etc). Brent Cotton was the sales contact for me - he was knowledgeable and capable of answering my questions mid-presentation, and then reshaping his presentation to address my concerns and interests. He was also very attentive to my interests in financing options and pricing. In the end he offered a very compelling price, with the system I wanted (production capacity, inverter type, etc). After that it was a pretty streamlined process. I have an HOA that needed to approve this, so that inserted a bit more into the process, but they handled that for me. The engineering review and design was completed quickly (less than a week), and getting on the schedule was fast as well. The actual install was fast - 2 days for 38 panels on a 2 story house. It was completed by two 2-man teams working in parallel - one working on the electrical side and the other installing the panels. Probably the longest wait was for utility approval (TECO) - not the fault of Solar Energy World. I've had the system for a year and it has produced over 20 MWh. I qualified for the 30% tax credit as well. Understanding your electrical usage and **the pricing of your electrical utility** is critical in figuring out if this makes **financial** sense for you. My electricity is pretty cheap (~$0.11/kWh), so that actually makes the payback period for this investment longer - but the deal I got from Solar Energy World works out for me (the "mega-installers" deal WOULD NOT). A final note - I did have a panel fail (!!!!). I noticed it on the handy app that is provided (Enlighten - I think it comes with all Enphase micro-inverter installations). I contacted SEW, they verified it on their end (they can still see the system), and a couple of weeks later I had an installer on my roof, removing the old panel and installing a new one. No hassle at all.

Exceptional Experience

From start to finish, the experience was incredible. Representative knew what was what, and kept in contact with us every step the the way. Removed four 60 year old maples. The company they contracted was efficient, knowledgeable, and were amazing. Had to cut around wires, buildings and other trees with no damage whatso ever. Installation guys were polite and kept us informed every step of the way. They are an amazing company. Would give them six stars if I could. If you are looking to get solar, this is the right company.

A+++ Service and Attentiveness

The sales staff and installation staff were 100% the best I’ve had to work with. I’ve been through the ringer with trying to choose the correct company to go with, and with each choice I felt like there was some way they were selling me a dream or trying to get over on me. SOLAR Energy World is the first company I felt comfortable with. The salesman Jameel took his time and walked me through the whole entire process from the beginning to the end. He was available every day I needed him or had a question that I needed answered. Night nor Day. When I felt frustrated about something, Jameel was there to put me at ease. The sales manger and the everyone above him reached out to me to make sure everything was handled in the best way to make me happy!! Loved them all!!! Can talk about them all day!! Also….THEY SAVED ME CRAZY $$$$!!!
