We had the easiest time using shine solar. We started and did not know what to do but they walked us through the whole process. It was about two months and we were up and running.

Absolutely amazing

I went solar in March of 2020. Since then, I've seen a 20-30% reduction in my electric bills. I had an $11 electric bill for March - May of this year alone. The salesperson made it easy to understand the net-metering process and how that would save me money. I had insulation blown in as my 2012 house only had about 8 inches of insulation put in when it was built. The construction team was professional, safe, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. This was by far the easiest project I've done, and it pays for itself over and over again.

Going green has never been this easy

Shine provided me with solutions to our electrical bill problems with a solar install that exceeded expectations. The installation team was efficient, and they took care of all paperwork for filing for cut-over to the new solar system.

Would never recommend

In 2020 I inquired about a solar install, after discussion we made a deal on 22 panels to be installed on my steel shop building. And an additional 2 hvac systems to be installed in our home. The install took place in late summer. Everything appeared to be working well and then in late October a winter storm came through the area and caused a large ice build up on the solar panels and caused my steel shop building roof to collapse to a total loss stand point. Shine solar of course claimed that it was not their fault for issue. I find that hard to believe that they are free of fault when they chose the shop to put the panels on as well as sent out engineers to verify it was suitable for such an addition. The building had been built for many years prior to this and within a couple months of the install it was flat on the ground. I’m very grateful this was not my home where my family is in. This review could’ve went a very different direction. Fast forward nearly one year later and they finally have reinstalled the panels on the new shop building. Very long process after you cut the initial check. Very poor follow up communication and support. I requested a ground mount for the reinstall and they quoted several thousand dollars to do such. Even after I had already paid more than most people’s vehicle for the first install as well as stuck with the bill to rebuild the steel shop building. In the end I still had to pay an additional $600 to replace bent and broken parts just to get the panels reinstalled. I felt this process was absolutely terrible and would never recommend this company for anything at all. If I wasn’t in the hole on this original purchase so greatly I would just cancel the whole plan all together. Please take my experience as an example of the bad side of this company.

We have been wanting to go solar for a while now. Decided to go with Shine Solar and glad we did. The installation went smoothly. Everything is going great so far.

Shine Solar Sucks

Shine Solar sucks. My panels look like total crap and don't produce anywhere the energy I was promised. No follow-up by anyone to determine my level of satisfaction. I am extremely disappointed in that I'm the first person in a very affluent neighborhood to apply with the HOA for solar and I was approved. Shine Solar screwed the pooch.

The folks at Shine Solar made getting solar such an easy, smooth experience. Their attention to detail is second to none. Excellent communication, answered all our questions and kept us inform every step of the way through the process. Crews were on time, polite and very attentive. We highly recommend checking them out when you start looking to make the switch to solar. They may not be the lowest price out there but they're going to take care of you throughout the process and long after the sale.

my experience with shine solar has been the easiest to navigate so far. from the planning to finance to completion every step came with awsome people that were very enthusiastic to help and answer every question! Solar panels

From beginning to the end it was a good experience. The gentleman that came to give me information and estimate for a solar system was very knowledgeable. He explained Net-Metering and how the panels worked. He took pictures of the roof and surrounding areas, so that an accurate plan was in place. I did have issues come up but they were not with Shine Solar. It was with the electric company. Shine solar assigned a concierge, to keep me informed on the progress. He was wonderful. He called me weekly and updated me. Finally the system was up and running. Every one involved are very professional. I was even contacted by customer service by video conference to review all that was said and done. And told me about the app to check the progress of the system. Over all I am very pleased with this company.
